Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

NATO’S NORDSTREAM SABOTAGE Ron Mandell, with a background in history and politics academia, joins Tony and Martin.  The war in Ukraine.  Nord Stream pipeline sabotaged – Russia blamed.  UNZ Review – declaration of war.  Cuban missile crisis.  Peace talks.  Pepe Escobar …no holds barred Germany and EU Have Been Handed Over a Declaration of War Pepe Escobar • September 28, 2022 It gets curiouser and curiouser when we know that simultaneously to the sabotage the Baltic Pipe from Norway to Poland was partially opened, a “new gas supply corridor” servicing “the Danish and Polish markets”: actually a minor affair, considering months ago their sponsors were in trouble finding gas, and now it will be even harder, with much higher costs. NS2 had already been attacked – in the open – all along its construction. Back in February, Polish ships actively tried to prevent the Fortuna pipe-laying vessel from finishing NS2. The pipes were being laid south of – you guessed it – Bornholm. NATO for its part has been very active on the underwater drones department. The Americans have access to long distance Norwegian underwater drones which can be modified with other designs. Alternatively, professional navy clearance divers could have been employed in the sabotage – even as tidal currents around Bornholm are a serious matter. The Big Picture reveals the collective West in absolute panic, with Atlanticist “elites” willing to resort to anything – outrageous lies, assassinations, terrorism, sabotage, all out financial war, support to neo-Nazis – to prevent their descent into a geopolitical and geoeconomic abyss. Disabling NS and NS2 represents the definitive closure of any possibility of a German-Russia deal on gas supplies, with the added benefit of relegating Germany to the lowly status of absolute US vassal. So that brings us to the key question of which Western intel apparatus designed the sabotage. Prime candidates are of course CIA and MI6 – with Poland set up as the fall guy and Denmark playing a very dodgy part: it’s impossible that Copenhagen was not at least “briefed” on the intel. Prescient as ever, as early as in April 2021 Russians were asking questions about the military security of Nord Stream. The crucial vector is that we may be facing the case of a EU/NATO member involved in an act of sabotage against the number one EU/NATO economy. That’s a casus belli. Outside of the appalling mediocrity and cowardice of the current administration in Berlin, it’s clear that the BND – German intel – as well as the German Navy and informed industrialists sooner or later will do the math. This was far from an isolated attack. On September 22 there was an attempt against Turkish Stream by Kiev saboteurs. The day before, naval drones with English language IDs were found in Crimea, suspected of being part of the plot. Add to it US helicopters overflying the future sabotage nodes weeks ago; a UK “research” vessel loitering in Danish waters since mid-September; and NATO tweeting about the testing of “new unmanned systems at sea” on the same day of the sabotage. Show me the (gas) money The Danish Minister of Defense met urgently with NATO’s Secretary General this Wednesday. After all the explosions happened very close to Denmark’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ). That may be qualified as crude kabuki at best; exactly on the same day, the European Commission (EC), NATO’s de facto political office, advanced its trademark obsession: more sanctions against Russia, including the certified-to-fail cap on oil prices. Insurance on pipelines affected.

Annexation of Donbass region illegal? 300,000 Russian reservists mobilisation.  Pipeline bombs coinciding with referendums?  Scott Ritter – what are the Russian reservists for?

Economics Professor Steve Keen, on disastrous international markets fallout after last Friday’s UK mini-budget, and how countries need long term planning. I owe enormous intellectual debts to Hyman Minsky and Augusto Graziani. But at one point, my “little knowledge” led me to believe, falsely, that they had both made a huge mistake in claiming that repaying debt destroyed money: Graziani: As soon as firms repay their debt to the banks, the money initially created is destroyed. (Graziani 1989) Money is created as banks lendmainly to businessand money is destroyed as borrowers fulfill their payment commitments to banks. (Minsky 1982) This couldn’t be right, I thought: surely once banks had created money, they wouldn’t let it be destroyed? I considered cash loans in particularsurely the cash wasn’t destroyed on receipt, but put back into the vault for relending? This is why the model of money in my Debunking Economics (Keen 2011) is of a cash-lending bank, and not a modern electronic banking system, where loans are simultaneously matched by direct payments into deposit accounts. Then I developed Minsky, the monetary modelling software that I named in honour of Hyman Minsky. I came to really understand double-entry bookkeeping, and realised that Minsky and Graziani were correct, and I was wrong. These days, money is primarily the sum of private bank deposit accounts. When you show modern bank lending and bank debt repayment in a double-entry table, it’s obvious that the former creates money, and the latter destroys it. This points to a general rule about money creation and destruction: leaving aside cash loans, and direct government payments of cash to the non-bank public, to create money, an operation must increase both the Assets and Liabilities (or short-term Equity) sides of the banking system’s ledger. Conversely, this means that operations that occur exclusively on either the Assets side or Liabilities & Equity side neither create nor destroy money. Having made this mistake myself, I came to realise that understanding double-entry bookkeeping is the “Holy Grail” to understanding money, and therefore that if someone makes claims about money that contradict double-entry bookkeeping (DEB for short), then they should be ignored, because they don’t know what they are talking about.

Liz Truss being interviewed by Bristol BBC radio reporter – sticking to the mini-budget. Liz Truss interviewed by BBC Lancashire BBC Bristol and BBC Stoke radio – fracking.  NHS problems. BBC Radio Nottingham: Liz Truss told budget is like a ‘reverse Robin Hood’ – audio When it was announced that Liz Truss would break her silence on the collapse of the pound by appearing on local radio stations, there was mockery from some London-based journalists who felt she should have given an interview to a national news outlet. Instead, it was BBC Leeds’s breakfast show that helped shift the price of UK government debt, as traders tuned in and realised the prime minister was sticking to her economic plan. As presenter Rima Ahmed put it to the prime minister: “Where’ve you been?” Radio Kent put it in more stark terms, with one listener asking Truss: “Are you ashamed of what you have done?” The prime minister’s rapid-fire set of eight short interviews with BBC radio stations in an hour produced more news than often emerges from a single slot on Radio 4’s Today programme. One benefit that local radio journalists have over reporters who deal with Downing Street on a daily basis is that they have no incentive to hold back. They are unlikely to have the prime minister on their programme as a regular guest and there is no need to have the complicated ongoing relationships with Downing Street communications staff. Instead they have the chance to ask a handful of questions and try to make their name – and represent the views of their listeners. Thursday’s interviews were coordinated by the BBC’s Central News Service, which provides national news coverage to the BBC’s 40 local outlets across England the Channel Islands – often by booking a guest who can be interviewed across multiple outlets on the same topic. In this case, radio stations covering Leeds, Norfolk, Kent, Lancashire, Nottingham, Teesside, Bristol, and Stoke-on-Trent were each given about five minutes’ airtime with Truss.

Ruth Nestor, joins Tony and Martin.  She explains the problems she has had with Bristol City Council who accused her of not paying her council tax, then took her to court for the debt and tried to take her house off her – and how ACORN saved her.  Community action blocks ‘a ridiculously unnecessary eviction’ Out-of-town private debt collection agency Richard Long & Co were due to evict Ruth and her children from her home on Monday 13 December. The eviction would have left Ruth and her two children, 10 and 12, homeless. Community union Acorn had organised its members and gone door knocking in the area to drum up supporters to resist the eviction. After sounding the alarm on social media and a Whatsapp callout group the previous evening, around 50 Acorn members, neighbours and supporters stood outside the front and back entrances of the house to block the bailiffs’ way. “There’s a mother and two young children in this house and we want to make sure that they’re not going to be made homeless for Christmas,” said Ruby Burgess, spokesperson for Acorn. “We’re non violent, we’re just trying to block their way, essentially, so they can’t get in.” Ruth says the bailiffs broke in and smashed a hole in her door with an axe during a previous eviction attempt (Photo provided by Ruth) Rachel and Martin, who live nearby, came after Acorn members came knocking. Martin said they’d come along to try and prevent “a ridiculously unnecessary eviction”. “The housing situation in Bristol is so awful and it’s so difficult for people to find accommodation that you sort of worry what will happen to a family that are kicked out just before Christmas,” added Rachel. Drivers going past honked their horns in support. Ruth’s front downstairs window was covered in hand-written posters she’d written showing the different laws she says she’s protected by. “I’ve been up all night making those”, she told the Cable. This was the second recent eviction attempt of the household. In the first attempt the bailiffs forced entry in an eviction attempt that was illegal, say Acorn. Ruth says she came home on 25 November to find one of the doors with an axe hole in it and her possessions scattered. “All the things were on the floor,” she told the Cable. She said that they terrified her children. A spokesperson for Richard Long & Co said that the bailiff company wasn’t aware of any damage caused during the eviction attempt and had thought the house was empty when they entered. The bailiffs never turned up on Monday, though supporters think that they may have arrived, seen that the way wasn’t clear, and left. They’ve since turned up at Ruth’s door at 7am on the following Wednesday and Thursday morning and Acorn members spent the whole of Thursday outside Ruth’s house in case they came back. Ruth told the Cable she has had to pay £160 for new locks to secure her property. Councillor Craig Cheney, deputy mayor with responsibility for finance said: “This administration condemns the actions of the recovery agents and have put a hold on any further action whilst we seek to better understand the situation. Collecting debts cannot be done without consideration for the impact on families, particularly this close to Christmas, and the wider problems caused by aggressive tactics without a joined-up approach. “In many cases where debt is chased in isolation the consequences are to create additional pressures on housing, social services, welfare support, health agencies and the charity sector. Often the sum total of support required to deal with the consequences outvalues the debt owed in the first place. “I will shortly bring our new ethical debt collection policy to Cabinet with a view to curb short-sighted collection practices. We aim to ensure that where people owe money, they have the opportunities to meet their obligations without pushing the pressure onto other services. Should this receive Cabinet support, we will roll out new practices across the council during the next year.”

BBC Points West – Marvin gets water thrown over him when he turns up five days after fire in Twinnel House council flats, where an Afghan man dies.  Tower block residents throw water and accost mayor on visit after fatal fire tragedy A council employee blocked the resident from chucking water at the mayor A woman attempts to throw water over the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, as he approaches Twinnell House in Easton for a meeting about a fatal fire on Sunday, The mayor of Bristol was accosted by angry residents of the tower block hit by last weekend’s fire tragedy, with one throwing water towards him and accosting him as he approached the building for a meeting. The police were called to Twinnell House in Easton after the confrontation, which happened as Marvin Rees and his entourage visited the tower block for the first time since Sunday morning’s fire, in which 30-year-old Abdul Jabar Oryakhel was killed. One woman approached the mayor and a council employee managed to block her attempt to throw water over him from a distance, before the resident berated him in the street. Other residents, who have long complained about conditions in the tower block off Stapleton Road, said his visit, made five days after the fatal fire, had come too late. The meeting with local residents lasted around an hour, and was held in the tower block’s ground-floor community room, which had been closed and locked up by the city council for years. Residents said it was the first time many had ever been in there.

Mini-budget – Bank of England had to intervene as pension funds were about to go bust.  Financial crash.  Landscapes of Freedom mass trespass in Crawley to stop a tourist development. British walkers demand wider right to roam Some of the trespassers looked like militant eco-warriors, well used to a bit of lawbreaking, but some did not, like retired company director Richard Payne. Didn’t it bother him to break civil law? “Not really, because I’m not breaking and entering somebody’s house,” he laughed. “I’m not squatting. I’m not going to go in here and put up a tent and live here. So, in a sense, we’re not strictly trespassing.” Retired deputy head teacher Peppy Erskine also felt she was doing nothing wrong. “I just feel it’s so important that we preserve the natural world for our mental health. So I feel justified in trespassing,” she said. And the Rev. Peter Owen-Jones, an Anglican minister, added: “If human beings had never challenged the rules, we’d still be living in the Dark Ages.” Britain’s landowners, on the other hand, have condemned the outbreak of mass trespassing and criticized the call for unrestricted access to the countryside. Victoria Vyvyan of the Country Land and Business Association speaks for the owners of some 10 million acres of managed land in England and Wales. “We believe passionately that access to open spaces and to green spaces contributes to people’s physical and mental well-being,” she said. “But the best access for the greatest number comes from a properly mapped and managed footpath system and open access that already exists.” England and Wales, she pointed out, have 144,000 miles of public pathways. England has 10 national parks covering 10% of the country. She’s worried that unrestricted roaming would clash with farming and forestry activity and possibly put the roamers in hazardous situations. Sensitive conservation sites could also be adversely affected. “We’re suffering from a catastrophic decline in biodiversity in this country. And I’m afraid nature and people don’t go terribly well together,” Vyvyan said. Nature certainly doesn’t go well with developers, say the Right to Roam campaigners. They accept that there must always be some exclusion zones, where delicate ecologies, vulnerable livestock or physically dangerous activity are involved. But they believe that one of the best guarantees of the mental and physical health of the nation and of its biodiversity is a much wider right to roam.

Two Serious Errors on Death Certificate of Queen .. new King Charles III reign.  Colonialism and wealth taken from countries.  Dr. David Halpin on irregularities with the Queen’s death certificate.  Black BBC screen shot at 2pm – an hour before she was pronounced dead. The Queen’s death certificate says she died of ‘old age’. which cannot be used on a death certificate. [CORRECTION: Dr Glass IS on the GMC database contrary to what we said on the show] But what does ‘old age’ really mean? Eventually, “old age” became a last resort phrase to describe an unknown cause of death. Or it became useful where a person may have died from a number of complications, but where it was not practical or ethical to order an autopsy to find the precise underlying cause of death. There’s no closure The other reason why “old age” has been seldom used as the cause of death in the 20th and 21st centuries was that it doesn’t provide any closure to families of the deceased. Research shows families want information about how their loved one died, not only because it can be useful for managing their own health concerns, but also because it provids a resolution to their loved one’s death. An unknown cause of death can exacerbate grief and trauma, particularly if the death was sudden or unexpected. Researchers have long argued families form continuing relationships with their loved one after they die. Ascertaining how they died is one part of how the family members left behind manage their grief and memorialise the deceased.

Queen’s funeral – at St. George’s chapel – Senior Freemason forgot to say God Save the King – Fluffed his lines? Senior Herald FORGOT to say ‘God Save the King’ while reading out proclamations at Queen’s committal Garter King of Arms David Vines White read proclamations at Queen’s Committal Forgot to say “God Save the King” despite words being on the order of service Source in the Royal Household said they are ‘very annoyed’ at him for mistake Reading out the proclamations in the final stages of the Queen’s Committal was a career-defining moment for the Garter King of Arms – yet all did not go as smoothly as hoped. The most senior Herald, David Vines White, forgot to say the crucial words ‘God Save the King’ at the end of the ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor last week. And in an unfortunate twist, the words were written out on the order of service, which was distributed throughout the chapel and published online. Thankfully King Charles, though always keen on details, did not make a fuss. A source in the Royal Household said: ‘Right at the end he was meant to shout “God Save the King”, and all those in the congregation would have done it too. It’s not particularly hard to read from a script. They’re very annoyed at him.’ But historian Hugo Vickers leapt to his defence, saying: ‘I imagine the poor man was frazzled. It’s a bit like the poor King with his pen. Cut him a bit of slack, I think.’

Transhumanism agenda or capitalist accumulation.  Covid as a bio-weapon.  Benefits not to raise with inflation. Failure to raise benefits would be ‘hostile and harmful’, Truss is warned PM reneging on Conservative promise to increase benefits in line with inflation ‘morally indefensible’, say experts Liz Truss will deliver the biggest permanent real-terms cut to the basic rate of benefits ever made if she fails to raise them in line with inflation, one of the UK’s leading poverty charities has said. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) urged the government not to renege on its promise, made earlier this year, to raise universal credit and other working age benefits in line with inflation. It said such a move would be a “harmful act of historic proportions” – and deliver a devastating blow to millions of families on low incomes. The JRF’s intervention follows widespread outrage at suggestions that the Treasury will seek to strip billions of pounds from the welfare budget to help repair shattered government finances after its disastrous mini-budget last week, which announced generous tax breaks for the rich but caused a near financial crisis. On Friday night, Truss said: “The biggest part of the package that we announced [last week] was the support for families on energy as well as making sure that we reversed the national insurance rise. “In terms of benefits uprating, that is something the work and pensions secretary is looking at and she will make an announcement in due course as is the normal practice, for the autumn.” There is speculation that rather than raising benefits for millions of people next April by about 10%, in line with the convention that the uprating should follow the previous September’s CPI inflation rate, the government will instead raise them by about 5.4%, in line with September earnings.

Bristol Clean Air Zone report edited by Tony but authored by Michael Bond – The Bristol CAZ appears to have been drawn in an entirely arbitrary manner as a city centre toll, as evidenced by the Portway extension and the inclusion of potential routes around the zone placed inside the zone, ensuring the maximum traffic chaos, rat-running. Deliberate confusion is built into the proposed Bristol CAZ by not providing clear routes around the zone as best practice elsewhere in the UK and Europe. Project Management appears to have failed in this Bristol CAZ proposal as success/failure justification criteria appear to have been entirely ignored. Covid will definitely have had an impact on the data during 2020-21 with NO2 site samples being lower than expected but Covid has also caused a monumentous shift in working patterns of Bristolians, with a heavy shift to WFH, away from office working in the centre. The scale of the CAZ, paticularly its extension West, cannot be legally justified. Data presented here is showing a distinct downward trend anyway, and there is no clause in the CAZ, which there surely has to be if its about air quality, that switches it off once a trigger value is hit. The CAZ will likely take credit for any natural improvements and Bristolians will be stuck with a toll area introduced under the guise of health which the most wealthy, new vehicle owners, do not pay. As in London, Bristol has seen a general positive trend in air quality over the last decade, and whilst one can argue, as Friends of the Eartth and others did in 2018 that more measures were needed, as evidenced here, that is clearly no longer the case. Having happily set an upward trend in air quality no further measures are required as legal limits have now arguably been fully met. Any presently marginal air sample data, bearing in mind the legal requirement is averaged over a year, the overall downward trend will soon prove conclusive. This CAZ is neither required under the Clean Air Act (2010) nor legally justifiable.

CONTROLLAVIRUS: Greg Felton, author, on whether Covid vaccine plan is to reduce population as part of the Great Reset agenda –

Ukraine wants to become part of NATO. Ukraine formally applies for fast-track NATO membership Ukraine has formally applied for NATO membership under an accelerated procedure, President Volodymyr Zelensky said after Russia added four Ukrainian regions to its soil. “Today, Ukraine is submitting an application to do this de jure… We are taking our decisive step by signing Ukraine’s application for accelerated membership in NATO,” the Ukrainian leader said via Telegram. The development came soon after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree for the formal accession of four regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia to Russia, after people in these regions voted in favor of joining the Russian Federation in a referendum. However, Zelensky said the votes breached international law and called the referendums “worthless.” “Donbas is and will be Ukrainian. This is our land, our people. We will never give ours to the occupiers,” he said. “De facto, we have already made our way to NATO. De facto, we have already proven our compatibility with the alliance’s standards. They are real for Ukraine – real on the battlefield and in all aspects of our cooperation,” Zelensky wrote.

Dr. John Gideon Hartnett on entropy…. From the following list, based on the biblical genealogies contained mostly in Genesis chapters 5 and 11, we can calculate the age of the Earth. Thus the Earth is only of the order of 6000 years old, not 4.6 billion years old as long-age-of-the-Earth deep-time evolution believers would have you also believe. Genealogies The date of the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt is the key to getting this connected to our modern-day calendar. It is like an anchor point. However there are many conflicting theories on that date,1 but Scripture tells us that Solomon started to build his temple to God in the fourth year of his reign. “And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.” (I Kings 6:1) This is the key that unlocks a door. The verse also tells us that this was 480 years after the Exodus from Egypt. The dates for Solomon’s reign are generally assigned to 971-931 BC. From the date of Solomon’s fourth year of his reign (966 BC), one can add 480 years to 966 BC and get 1446 BC (the year of the Exodus). You see, really this is all about the authority of Scripture. So, the age of the Earth does matter. The date for Creation then by my reckoning is 4174 BC, giving us a total of 6188 years for the age of the Earth and the whole Universe, measured by Earth clocks. WHY IS A 6000-YEAR-OLD UNIVERSE SO HARD TO BELIEVE? (I recommend a detailed analysis of the date of Creation from the Old Testament by Dr Floyd Nolen Jones. He lists a range of Creation dates that others get and offers his reasoning for his own determination.2)

Mass Trespass Sat 24 Sep 2022 near Crawley in Surrey www.landscapesoffreedom.com Hundreds take part in mass trespass to stop Centre Parcs development in Worth Forest Hundreds of people from all over Sussex have come together today (September 24) to conduct a mass trespass in Worth Forest, near Crawley. Participants hope to put a stop to the development of a major new Centre Parcs holiday complex. The project was first revealed last October, when Centre Parcs bosses revealed they had secured an option to acquire Oldhouse Warren: 553 acres of privately owned woodland off Balcombe Road. The company said it would seek planning permission to build a range of attractions on the site, including 900 lodges, indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a variety of restaurants, a spa, and a ‘subtropical swimming paradise.’ Between all these projects, as well as the construction of necessary new infrastructure the development is estimated to cost £350 million. Now, conservationists and residents are conducting a mass trespass to make their feelings known. The event was organised by the Landscapes of Freedom and the Right to Roam campaigns, who are calling for the refusal of Centre Parc’s proposal and for the area to be made into a ‘people’s forest’ like Epping Forest or New Forest. A spokesperson said: “Worth Forest, which borders the outer fringes of Crawley, constitutes the largest bloc of ancient woodland in middle Sussex, but three quarters of it has no open access for the public.” Worth Forest is situated within the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty, which gives it the same level of formal planning protection as a national park. Other organisations, including the RSPB, the Woodland Trust, CPRE Sussex, the Sussex Wildlife Trust and ‘Protect Oldhouse Warren’, have also condemned the project, calling for the conservation of the ancient woodland on which it could be built. Right to Roam campaigner Henry Jenkinson said: “The case of Worth Forest demonstrates how much of England’s woodland, along with 92% of our countryside, is forbidden to the public. The covid emergency proved that all of us need ready, free access to nature: it should be a right for all, not just the privileged who can afford it.” Dave Bangs, co-founder of Landscapes of Freedom, added: “The energy use of this development alone will ratchet up climate change, and its transport implications will wreck the tranquility of the High Wealden forest district. How can people fight an ecocidal proposal like this if we are not allowed to use the forest that it threatens? We need to know and love this forest which is on our doorsteps if we are to defend it. What the eye cannot see the heart does not grieve.” Today’s trespass takes place alongside the publication of a Right to Roam bill in parliament, introduced by Brighton MP Caroline Lucas. She said: “Worth Forest is of the utmost importance, and it’s vital that we save it. A precious wilderness, home to a wonderful myriad of species – from fierce- looking goshawks to tiny pipistrelles, small enough to fit in a matchbox, and to golden-ringed dragonflies. It’s why I have introduced a Bill to Parliament which would extend our Right to Roam in England and Wales to include access to woodlands, green belt, waters and grasslands.”

SQUATTERS HANDBOOK – The Squatters Handbook (ISBN 0 – 9507769 – 7-1) has been published by the Advisory Service for Squatters in London since 1976. It is now in its fourteenth edition and provides over a hundred pages of detailed legal and practical information about squatting and homelessness in England and Wales. Scotland squatters rights – Squatting in Scotland – Is it already an offence? It has been widely reported today that squatting is becoming a criminal offence following the UK Government’s recent legislation. It should of course be noted that this legislation and change of law applies solely to England and Wales and not Scotland. The position in Scotland is not affected as squatting is already criminalised under the Trespass (Scotland) Act 1865 which makes it an offence to lodge or encamp on private property. That does not mean, however, if you are a victim of squatting the Police will always come to your rescue as sometimes they do not wish to get involved in such matters. Indeed, very few prosecutions have taken place in Scotland in terms of the existing legislation. If the Police were to refuse to be involved in removing someone from your property, the advice would be not to take any action yourself. This could potentially be an illegal eviction. Even squatters could rely upon possession of a property as a real right and one which means they can only be evicted by consent or by order of the court.

Rental prices in South West England rise at their fastest rate on record The cost of private home rental in our region grew by the fastest rate ever in the twelve months up to June, Bristol Live can reveal. Prices were 4.1 percent higher in June of 2022 than in June of 2021 – the largest year-on-year increase since comparative records began in 2006. Taking the twelve months to July 2022, private rental prices had risen by 4 percent – the third largest rise of any UK region. Only the East and the East Midlands saw faster increases, of 4.1 and 4.3 percent respectively. The record-breaking hike in home rental came at the same time that workers across Britain saw their regular pay fall by 3 percent, according to separate figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Ashley Day is the founder and director of Bristol Property Centre, an award-winning independent letting agent based in Redland. He called the average rise of 4.1 percent “quite modest”, suggesting that prices had jumped by much more in many cases. “I’ve run BPC for ten years and supply has never been like this,” said Ashley. “Some tenants are offering up to £100 more than the landlord is asking for.” The difficulty and expense of renting in the city is a popular topic amongst members of the Reddit forum r/Bristol, as suggested by the title of the weekly general discussion thread: “Buying, selling, moving, renting, lost property and general chat should go here.” “I would say it’s an average price, not the best deal but equally nothing super high,” replied Party-Efficiency7718. “Good value in the current market I’d say in that location. Unfortunately, the market is messed up.” “Just been notified that our rent is going from [£1,400] per month to [£1,900] in Horfield, and I am in disbelief,” wrote user Beardy_Will, in another thread. “Landlord reckons it is reasonable as the local letting agents told him to charge [£2,000]. Of course they tell him that as it is in both their interests to do so.”

The UK could see increase in house repossessions if interest rates continue to rise, experts warn If interest rates continue to rise as they have been in recent times, there could be even more homeowners losing their properties to repossession, it has been warned There is concern the UK will see an increase in house repossessions if interest rates continue to rise at a steady pace after it was revealed the base rate has been increased by another 0.5 per cent, bringing it to 2.25 per cent. A combination of high house prices, soaring energy and food bills as well as close to double-digit inflation is pushing up interest rates, leading to more homeowners left being unable to pay their mortgage. Repossessions, a legal process where a lender or secured loan provider takes ownership of a property, have already risen substantially this year. While repossession is a last resort, figures seem to suggest it is more likely the higher interest rates rise. Home repossessions have been picking up during the latest cycle of rate rises, according to recent statistics covering England and Wales from the Government from April to June 2022, when compared to the same quarter in 2021. It revealed mortgage possession claims, made by lenders, have increased by 39 per cent, orders, which is where a county court can ask for possession, soared by 496 per cent, warrants, applied for by the lender, rose by 361 per cent and repossessions by county court bailiffs increased by a huge 1,611 per cent. To put the increase into context, there was only 10 repossessions in the whole of last year from April 2020 to March 2021. However, it is important to note the figures are somewhat skewed by the pandemic as restrictions on bailiff enforcement were put in place but ended on 31 May 2021. They are now working to reduce backlogs. Myron Jobson, senior personal finance analyst at Interactive Investor, said: “Mortgage rates have surged to levels we haven’t seen in a while, marking the end of the era of cheap home loans. “With households also facing unprecedented cost pressures from all sides and interest rates set to rise further to rein in rampant inflation, the harsh reality is there is likely to be a rise in the number of people losing their homes as they fall into arrears.” Karen Noye, mortgage expert at Quilter, said the quicker the base rate increases, the more likely there can be an increase in homes being taken over. “Historically, we know that when the Bank of England interest rate reached around 7 per cent in 1998, we were seeing repossession levels of around 34,000 a year in the UK. “The big difference is during that time period rates had risen gradually over a number of years having hovered around the 5 to 6 per cent mark for a while prior to the increase to 7 per cent in 1998.

Voices: Truss risks killing the economy – and the Tory party Sean O’Grady There are lots of flaws with Trussonomics. So far as can be judged, it requires a huge leap of faith in the ability of tax cuts and “supply-side reforms” to unleash such a wave of economic revival that the UK returns to its pre-Covid, pre-Brexit, pre-financial crisis trend rate of economic growth, which was comparatively healthy. In such circumstances, the striking reductions in personal and business taxation proposed by Liz Truss and her chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng, would soon become “self-fulfilling”; the extra tax revenues from higher economic activity paying for themselves. This is sometimes called “Thatcherite”, to inspire a British audience with a vague folk memory of the 1980s boom times. In reality, Thatcher reduced personal income taxation, but paid for it by a near-doubling of VAT, a windfall tax on the banks and trimming back public spending plans. She also tightened the squeeze on the economy by ramping interest rates up to 17 per cent. The result was a sharp recession, mass unemployment, creating wastelands in the industrial north and Midlands – but eventually, inflation came down. Trussonomics, on the other hand, seeks to avoid recession – and has tax cuts paid for by higher borrowing, possibly also boosted by a plan to cap energy bills. It is much more like Reaganomics, where President Reagan ran up huge budget and trade deficits as he slashed taxes. It kind of worked, but these twin deficits have remained more or less a constant of American economic life ever since, nowadays funded by loans from the Chinese. Unlike the UK, America has the “exorbitant privilege” of running the world’s reserve currency. Unlike the British, there is an almost insatiable global appetite for American treasury bills and bonds. Trussonomics also means running fiscal and monetary policy in opposite directions – usually taken to be futile, at best. The fiscal boost from tax cuts and public spending will push inflation up – but the Bank will have to raise interest rates to get the spending power back out of the economy to bring inflation back to the 2 per cent target. The bigger the tax cuts, the bigger the rate rises. This means, maybe: a slump, bankruptcies, a housing crash and destitution for hard-working families with big mortgages. Or the dash for growth will work and output will soar.

As it happened: Pound falls as chancellor cuts income tax and stamp duty In a massive shake-up of the UK’s finances, Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng unveils the biggest tax cutting moves in 50 years The financial markets react badly, with the pound falling to a fresh 37-year low against the dollar Kwarteng defends the measures, saying they are “exactly the right thing” to do The basic rate of income tax is cut to 19p and the 45% top rate of tax for higher earners abolished – although this doesn’t apply in Scotland The threshold before stamp duty is paid in England and Northern Ireland is raised to £250,000 – for first time buyers it’s £425,000 The cap on bankers’ bonuses is lifted, and a planned rise in corporation tax scrapped An increase in National Insurance is reversed, and low-tax investment zones will be set up across the UK Labour’s shadow chancellor says the plan “will reward the already wealthy” and will not help those struggling most with rising prices What happened? Kwasi Kwarteng delivered a sweeping mini-budget in his first major speech as chancellor. What was announced? Cuts to stamp duty foe homebuyers in England and Northern Ireland A cut in the basic rate of income tax will be brought forward by a year, and the 45% rate was scrapped A hike in National Insurance contributions was reversed Rules around universal credit were tightened, by reducing benefits if people don’t fulfil job search commitments A UK-wide rise in corporation tax, which was due to increase from 19% to 25% in April 2023, was cancelled A cap on bankers’ bonuses was scrapped How was it received? The pound fell to a fresh 37-year low against the dollar as financial markets The government was accused by Labour and some charities of prioritising the richest proportion of the population Shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves called it “the wrong tax cut, at the wrong time” Meanwhile, Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey said the government was “totally out of touch with ordinary people and businesses” In an interview with the BBC, Kwarteng defended his policies, saying that they weren’t a gamble

Fracking won’t work in UK says founder of fracking company Cuadrilla Chris Cornelius says geology is too challenging and government’s support is merely ‘soundbites’ Fracking in the UK will be impossible at any meaningful scale and will not help with the energy price crisis, the founder of the UK’s first fracking company has warned. Chris Cornelius, the geologist who founded Cuadrilla Resources, which drilled the UK’s first modern hydraulic fracturing wells in Lancashire, told the Guardian that he believed the government’s support for it is merely a “political gesture”. “I don’t think there is any chance of fracking in the UK in the near term.” He said that when Cuadrilla had operated here, it had discovered that the geology of the UK was unsuited to widespread fracking operations. “No sensible investors” would take the risk of embarking on large projects here, he said. “It’s very challenging geology, compared with North America [where fracking is a major industry].” Unlike the gas-bearing shale deposits in the US, the shale resource in the UK is “heavily faulted and compartmentalised”, making it far harder to exploit at any scale. Liz Truss, the prime minister, has made clear she supports fracking and will lift the moratorium that has been in place since 2019, though it remains to be seen where and how sites will be licensed. She has said she hopes to see gas from fracked sites as soon as six months from now. But Cornelius said that “would not happen”. Truss’s decision to give the green light to fracking “is not going to have an impact” on the UK’s energy supply, he told the Guardian in an interview. “It makes good soundbites but I can’t see anything happening,” he said. In the longer term, he said it was possible there could be a few localised operations, but they would be small and could not make a meaningful contribution to the UK’s energy needs. “They will never be at scale, because the capital costs are a huge issue,” he said.

The former Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, asked what studies had been done on the effect of fracking on aquifers. Mr Rees-Mogg referred to a 2021 report, which he said concluded that most of evidence on aquifer pollution was invented. [The report by the Royal Society recommended surveys of methane and other contaminants in groundwater before, during and after shale gas operations]. Cheaper energy The business secretary said a shale gas supply would “bring us cheaper energy”. But this has been disputed by many experts and leading Conservatives, including the now chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng. Richard Burgon, Labour, Leeds East, said fracking was being pursued by the government “in the corporate interest”. He said renewables were nine times cheaper than gas.

DEVASTATING AL JAZEERA INVESTIGATIVE SERIES – Unprecedented leak exposes inner workings of UK Labour Party The leaked documents, obtained by Al Jazeera, reveal how party officials smear and intimidate rivals. Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit (I-Unit) has obtained the largest leak in British political history, exposing how unelected officials undermined democracy within the Labour Party. The leaked data comprises 500 gigabytes of documents, emails, video and audio files from the Labour Party dating from 1998 to 2021. The I-Unit will be releasing a series of reports on the leaked files over the coming week. The data reveals how the party’s bureaucrats, whose nominal function is to serve the interests of the party, attempted to undermine members supportive of Jeremy Corbyn, Labour’s leader from 2015 to 2020. Until his election as party leader in September 2015, Corbyn was a little-known figure in British politics, active in grassroots activism, from the anti-war movement to the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. The first unequivocally socialist leader of the party since the 1980s, he rode a wave of popular discontent against the political establishment, standing on a platform of public ownership of key industries, a strengthened welfare state, and an end to the austerity measures imposed by the Conservative government at that time. The Labour Files show, however, that inside the Labour Party discontent was brewing, leading to internal battles over which side of the party – the left-wing “Corbynites” or the pre-2015 centrists – would have control.

The secretive 400,000 acre Crown Estate – Who Owns Britain by Kevin Cahill: 1. When Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries, he freed up around 10 million acres of England alone to distribute to his followers – a group of about 1500 families. The incomes from the old church lands put huge wealth at the barons’ disposal. 2. The industrial revolution was paralleled by the enclosures, the legal device used to include common land into landed estates, thus excluding the peasantry who had lived off the common land, and increasing the labour supply to the factories. It is a truism of conventional British history that the landowners were the dominant force in British politics right up to World War Two… what the history of landownership in Britain proves, and modern political economics demonstrates, is the inseparable bond between land and power. 3. Since the late 19th century, all formal tax on land has been abolished, and the specific taxes which have been substituted have placed the larger burden of taxes on the smallest landowners, domestic homeowners, while removing it altogether on the largest landowners. In addition, the larger landowners, (189,000 people own 88% of the land) are in receipt of subsidy to the tune of £4 billion annually. They pay no tax on that asset. 4. Those closest to and most likely to have real influence with the Queen are almost all hereditary aristocrats (the book gives details of the lands owned by these and the Royal Family) and landowners … overwhelmingly connected to a very small group of banks … the particular coalition which crowds the Palace, the Crown Estate and the two duchies (Lancaster and Cornwall), with its secret lobbyists and advocates, is the same group that stands to benefit the most from perpetuating the black hole at the heart of the land registry. These are people distinguished from the rest of the population by owning the vast bulk of the land on which the population at large depends for homes, and, to a lesser extent, food. 5. Since 1993, as part of the general and undisclosed settlement made between the Queen and the government in relation to tax, Prince Charles has paid normal tax rates, but his private company, The Duchy of Cornwall, pays no capital gains and no corporation tax. 6. The Duchy of Lancaster (created in 1351) is a very large landed estate, mostly based in the north of England with some land in London. The Queen, who is also Duke of Lancaster, receives the revenues from this estate tax free. It now runs to almost 47,220 land-based acres, but taken with its estuarial waters and riverbeds of 125,000 acres, it actually comprises close on 172,000 acres. To these can be added £66 million in Stock Exchange investments and £5 million in cash. The Duchy pays no tax on anything. The money it pays to the Queen, £5.7 million in the most recent account, is tax-free. If the Duchy had paid corporation tax and capital gains tax at the standard rate of 40% in 1997 that would have been at least £3 million to the Exchequer. 7. Professor Cannadine in The Decline and Fall of the British Aristocracy, wrote of the late 19th century: ‘the contemporary cult of the country house depicts the old land-owning classes as elegant, exquisite patrons of the arts, living lives of tasteful ease in beautiful surroundings. Of course, there is some truth in this. But as a representation of the totality of patrician existence, it misleads and distorts, by failing to recognise them for what they really were: a tough, tenacious and resourceful elite, who loved money, loved power and loved the good life’. 8. Cahill goes into much detail of one of the Plantagenet families still very much in evidence : the Howards, and comments ‘It is quite an achievement to have kept £2 billion in the family for almost 400 years’. In all, 20 Plantagenet descendants appear in the Sunday Times Rich List.

PrivacyPoll result: England urged to ‘take back control’ of water system – WATER COMPANIES should be brought back under public control, a new poll of Express.co.uk readers has found. Aug 21, 2022 Several regions of the South and East of England are currently under a hosepipe ban to manage supply during unprecedented dry weather. Water companies have been blamed for failing to plan for drought yet unlike other utilities England’s water system means households cannot shop around or switch providers. England’s water system was privatised in 1989 and has been described as the last of the privatised monopolies. Welsh water became a not-for-profit organisation in 2001 and Scottish Water went into public ownership in 2002, but England remained privatised, with several profit-seeking companies. According to state regulator Ofwat, around a fifth of all drinking water produced is lost through poor infrastructure including cracked pipes and damaged reservoirs. In a poll that ran from 5pm on Wednesday, August 17, to 1pm on Saturday, August 20, Express.co.uk asked readers: “Should the Government bring the private water companies back under public control?” Overall, 1,169 readers responded with a strong majority, 91 percent (1,066 people), answering “yes”, water companies should be brought back under public control. A further eight percent (94 people) said “no” water companies should not be nationalised, while just one percent (nine people) said they did not know. Dozens of comments were left below the accompanying article as readers shared their thoughts on nationalising water companies. Most readers agreed that water companies should be brought under public control. Other readers argued that all utilities, including water, gas and electricity, should be nationalised.

Queen funeral: Sermon from the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby from Westminster Abbey in full Monday, 19th September 2022, 3:39 pm “The pattern for many leaders is to be exalted in life and forgotten after death. The pattern for all who serve God – famous or obscure, respected or ignored – is that death is the door to glory. Her Late Majesty famously declared in a 21st-birthday broadcast that her whole life would be dedicated to serving the Nation and Commonwealth. Rarely has such a promise been so well kept. Few leaders receive the outpouring of love we have seen.  Jesus – who in our reading does not tell his disciples how to follow, but who – said ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’. Her Late Majesty’s example was not set through her position or her ambition, but through whom she followed. I know His Majesty shares the same faith and hope in Jesus Christ as his mother; the same sense of service and duty. In 1953 the Queen began her Coronation with silent prayer, just there at the High Altar. Her allegiance to God was given before any person gave allegiance to her. Her service to so many people in this nation, the Commonwealth and the world had its foundation in her following Christ – God himself – who said that he ‘came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many’. People of loving service are rare in any walk of life. Leaders of loving service are still rarer. But in all cases those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are forgotten. The grief of this day – felt not only by the late Queen’s family, but all round the nation, Commonwealth and world – arises from her abundant life and loving service, now gone from us. She was joyful, present to so many, touching a multitude of lives. We pray especially for all her family, grieving as every family at a funeral, including so many families round the world who have themselves lost someone recently, but in this family’s case, doing so in the brightest spotlight. May God heal their sorrow, may the gap left in their lives be marked with memories of joy and life. Her Late Majesty’s broadcast during Covid lockdown ended with ‘we will meet again’, words of hope from a song of Vera Lynn. Christian hope means certain expectation of something not yet seen. Christ rose from the dead and offers life to all, abundant life now and life with God in eternity. As the Christmas carol says, ‘where meek souls will receive him, still the dear Christ enters in’. We will all face the merciful judgment of God: we can all share the Queen’s hope which in life and death inspired her servant leadership. Service in life, hope in death. All who follow the Queen’s example, and inspiration of trust and faith in God, can with her say ‘we will meet again’.”

In it, Charles stressed that the plan – including “green” policies that would suffocate businesses and individual freedoms worldwide – is a matter of urgency. He noted that this would involve net zero carbon emissions and the use of carbon pricing to achieve it. According to The World Bank: Carbon pricing is an instrument that captures the external costs of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions – the costs of emissions that the public pays for, such as damage to crops, health care costs from heat waves and droughts, and loss of property from flooding and sea level rise – and ties them to their sources through a price, usually in the form of a price on the carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted. The World Bank: Carbon Pricing Dashboard Essentially, it is a carbon dioxide tax – a price tag on all aspects of our lives and, ultimately, all life on Earth. We, as with all aerobic life – whether on land, in the air or in water – emit carbon dioxide as a by-product of respiration or when we exhale. Breathing is a natural and necessary part of life. How far is their proposed carbon tax prepared to go? What price will they put on our heads? And who benefits financially?

Russia’s position misunderstood by the West.  Worrying developments caused by NATO shipping long range missile systems HIMARS and MARS to the Ukrainian Army – which NATO satellites target and could certainly hit Crimea and potentially hit Moscow… Russian president announces partial military mobilization: Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has announced a partial military mobilization in the Russian Federation, according to the Tass news agency. In a televised address, Putin said he had signed a decree on partial mobilization, due to begin on Wednesday, stressing that he was taking necessary steps to protect Russia’s sovereignty as the West is looking to “weaken” and “destroy” the country. “We are talking about partial mobilization, that is, only citizens who are currently in the reserve will be subject to conscription, and above all, those who served in the armed forces have a certain military specialty and relevant experience,” Putin said. The decision to partially mobilize is “fully adequate to the threats we face, namely to protect our homeland, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, to ensure the security of our people and people in the liberated territories,” he added. The Russian president said his aim was to “liberate” east Ukraine’s Donbas region, and that most people in the region did not want to return to what he called the “yoke” of Ukraine. He also accused the West of ordering Ukraine to undermine peace talks with Moscow, saying the West would not be “happy with a peaceful” solution to the conflict. Putin’s address to the nation came a day after four Ukrainian regions announced plans to hold referendums to join Russia in a matter of days, mirroring the move that was taken by the former Ukrainian region of Crimea in 2014, which led to its incorporation into the Russian Federation. Speaking on Tuesday, the pro-Russian leaders of the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, the southern region of Kherson, and the southeastern region of Zaporizhzhia announced that they were planning to hold the votes as soon as Friday.

He is said to be scared to reveal the truth to Russians Vladimir Putin has cleared the way to mobilise one million civilian reservists to fight Western-backed Ukraine, not 300,000 as officially announced, it has been claimed today. A secret seventh article in his “partial mobilisation” presidential decree allows him to call up a total of one million people, a source told independent investigative media outlet Novaya Gazeta Europe. The Russian President is said to be scared to reveal the truth to his citizens as he fears more dissidents will leave the country. However, the Kremlin denied the claims, with state-owned news agency RIA citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov who called the report “a lie”. It comes after Putin and his defence minister Sergei Shoigu yesterday announced 300,000 Russians would be called up to fight in Ukraine. Enlistment is underway today on a grand scale across Russia’s 11 time zones, as seen in multiple videos. Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov yesterday refused to disclose the content of the classified seventh article of the decree but admitted it related to the number of Russians to be mobilised, according to Kommersant newspaper. The article was “for official use”, he said. Peskov added: “The only thing I can tell you…Sergei Shoigu said in his interview – 300,000 people [will be mobilised]. “We are talking about up to 300,000 people. And also, as the Minister of Defence explained, not all at once.” However, Novaya Gazeta said secret Article 7 hides the real figure which officials did not mention. The defence ministry wanted his entire decree secret but in the end, only the seventh article was classified, it was claimed. “The figure was corrected several times, and in the end, they settled on one million,” said the Novaya Gazeta source. Two Russian soldiers patrolling the Mariupol drama theatre, The newspaper’s claim is echoed by Telegram channel General SVR which said the 300,000 figure is “false”. “It is planned to mobilise 500,000 people by the end of the year and another 500,000 people by March next year,” it stated. The anti-Putin channel, which claims insider Kremlin sources, also claimed the “general estimate of losses by March next year is about 300,000 killed and wounded”. This is in addition to some 81,572 killed so far, according to the channel, which predicted in advance the mobilisation move by Putin. Dissidents will find their bank accounts blocked, preventing them from obtaining money – including those who have fled abroad. “It is dangerous for men of military age to keep money in any bank in Russia,” said the channel. All Russian men are required to do a year’s military service between the ages of 18 and 27, although university students may instead receive instruction from a military faculty alongside their chosen studies.

DISCLAIMER – I DON’T AGREE WITH THIS DOCUMENTARY BUT IT RAISES SOME IMPORTANT QUESTIONS – ‘Europa: The Last Battle’ documentary – Ken O’Keefe begins on corrupt financial system. Haven’t you ever at least been curious as to what “the other side of the World War II story” was? Since the mid-20th century, the world has only ever heard one side of the most horrific war in human history. During the 75 years that have now passed, only a single narrative of the great conflict has been heard. This over simplistic narrative totally ignores the previous decades of critical history leading up to World War II, ignores vital information from the actual war years, and outright fabricates lie after lie after lie. We are today living in the world of the victors of that war and without an objective, rational and balanced view of our history, we are doomed to repeat the mistakes. After World War Two, the victors of the war not only went on to write our history books, infiltrate our media and public education but even going so far as to criminalize the mere questioning of the official story’s orthodoxy. The truth is, that our world today can only be understood through a correct understanding of World War II, the architects of it and the conflicts between Globalism and Nationalism. Between the old-and-new world order. The Traditional and the “Progressive”. Day in and day out, has the post-war propaganda been pounded into the minds of three subsequent generations. Every medium of mass indoctrination has been harnessed to the task of training the obedient masses as to what the proper and “acceptable” view of this event should be. Academia, news media, public education, book publishing, TV documentaries, Hollywood films and politicians of every stripe all sing the same song.

Who Sees WWIII As A ‘Good’ Thing? Tony’s secondary school friend in 1977-8 ‘Nazi Nick’ Land: Canadian Occult author David Livingstone, on Accelerationism and Nick Land. Guardian – who are The Order of Nine Angles (ONA or O9A) which David says Nick Land praised? A U.K.-based Nazi, Satanist occult group founded in the 1970s. The group reveres Adolf Hitler and imbues Nazi symbology with mystical meaning. ONA heralds Nazi Germany as the pinnacle of societal development and deifies Adolf Hitler. The U.S. Department of Justice has noted ONA’s “Satanic, anarchist, neo-fascist, neo-Nazi, and anti-Semitic beliefs.”* ONA has affiliated groups in the United States, Australia, and Europe.* ONA is an accelerationist group that seeks the “breakdown and the downfall of existing societies” and their replacement with “new tribal societies.”* It believes society has become corrupted by Judeo-Christian beliefs.* ONA thus believes society must be destroyed and replaced with a new fascist order based on social Darwinism and Satanism, a Satanic Empire. The group views modern societal norms and morality as signs of decay.* ONA promotes what it calls an esoteric philosophy focused on the hidden, inner nature of beings rather than the outer nature.* ONA intends to use its “Dark Tradition” to create a “new, more evolved, human species” centered on this new tribalistic society.* Unlike other neo-Nazi groups, ONA also supports violent jihadist terrorism, in line with its accelerationist philosophy to support the destruction of the current world order. In addition to its veneration of Hitler, the group has praised Osama bin Laden.* Some of its texts also employ Islamic terminology, though the group is firmly Satanist.* ONA encourages its member to infiltrate military and Christian organizations to subvert them from within. Among the activities ONA promotes are pedophilia and sexual crimes, which the group views as methods of undermining society.* ONA members have been involved in several violent terrorist plots. In 2019, for example, a 16-year-old British boy from Durham, England, became the youngest individual in the country to be convicted of planning a terror attack. The boy was reportedly partially influenced by ONA.* In June 2020, American authorities arrested U.S. soldier Ethan Melzer, who was planning an attack on his own unit stationed in Italy. Melzer had been communicating online with members of ONA.* After Melzer’s arrest, the National Counterterrorism Center, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security drafted a report on the dangers presented by ONA, “a largely decentralized group that advocates a violent extremist interpretation of Satanism” and has “influenced” some racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists.* ONA founder David Myatt is a former member of Combat 18 and a former leader of Britain’s neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM). Myatt reportedly influenced NSM member David Copeland, who set off multiple nail bombs around London in the spring of 1999, killing three people and injuring 139 in the hope of starting a race war.* In 2006, Myatt converted to an extreme form of Islam and supported killing Muslim apostates. He claimed that the far right was incapable of bringing out societal revolution and Islam was the answer.

Fake versions of the monotheistic faiths which are ultimately Satanic – Accelerationism: how a fringe philosophy predicted the future we live in The world is changing at dizzying speed – but for some thinkers, not fast enough. Is accelerationism a dangerous idea or does it speak to our troubled times? by Andy Beckett Thu 11 May 2017 One of the central figures of accelerationism is the British philosopher Nick Land, who taught at Warwick University in the 1990s, and then abruptly left academia. “Philosophers are vivisectors,” he wrote in 1992. “They have the precise and reptilian intelligence shared by all who experiment with living things.” Iain Hamilton Grant, who was one of Land’s students, remembers: “There was always a tendency in all of us to bait the liberal, and Nick was the best at it.” Since Warwick, Land has published prolifically on the internet, not always under his own name, about the supposed obsolescence of western democracy; he has also written approvingly about “human biodiversity” and “capitalistic human sorting” – the pseudoscientific idea, currently popular on the far right, that different races “naturally” fare differently in the modern world; and about the supposedly inevitable “disintegration of the human species” when artificial intelligence improves sufficiently. Other accelerationists now distance themselves from Land. Grant, who teaches philosophy at the University of the West of England, says of him: “I try not to read his stuff. Folk [in the accelerationist movement] are embarrassed. They think he’s sounding like a thug. Anyone who’s an accelerationist, who’s reflective, does think: ‘How far is too far?’ But then again, even asking that question is the opposite of accelerationism.” Accelerationism is not about restraint…. Yet in Britain, Anti-Oedipus and Libidinal Economy acquired a different status. Like much of postwar French philosophy, for decades they were ignored by the academic mainstream, as too foreign in all senses, and were not even translated into English until 1983 and 1993 respectively. But, for a tiny number of British philosophers, the two books were a revelation. Iain Hamilton Grant first came across Libidinal Economy as a master’s student at Warwick in the early 90s. “I couldn’t believe it! For a book by a Marxist to say, ‘There’s no way out of this’, meaning capitalism, and that we are all tiny pieces of engineered desire, that slot into a huge system – that’s a first, as far as I know.” Grant “got hooked”. Instead of writing his dissertation, he spent an obsessive six months producing the first English translation. Such exploratory philosophy projects were tolerated at Warwick in a way they were not at other British universities. Warwick had been founded in the 1960s as a university that would experiment and engage with the contemporary world. By the 1990s, its slightly isolated out-of-town campus of breeze-block towers and ziggurats looked worn rather than futuristic, but its original ethos lived on in some departments, such as philosophy, where studying avant-garde French writers was the norm. At the centre of this activity was a new young lecturer in the department, Nick Land. Land was a slight, fragile-looking man with an iron gaze, a soft but compelling voice, and an air of startling intellectual confidence. “Lots of people are clever,” says Grant, “but I’ve never witnessed anyone who could so forensically destroy a thesis.” Robin Mackay, who also became one of Land’s students, remembers: “Nick was always ready to say, ‘Don’t bother reading that.’ But he had read it all!” By the early 90s Land had distilled his reading, which included Deleuze and Guattari and Lyotard, into a set of ideas and a writing style that, to his students at least, were visionary and thrillingly dangerous. Land wrote in 1992 that capitalism had never been properly unleashed, but instead had always been held back by politics, “the last great sentimental indulgence of mankind”. He dismissed Europe as a sclerotic, increasingly marginal place, “the racial trash-can of Asia”. And he saw civilisation everywhere accelerating towards an apocalypse: “Disorder must increase… Any [human] organisation is … a mere … detour in the inexorable death-flow.” Land gave strange, theatrical lectures: clambering over chairs as he spoke, or sitting hunched over, rocking back and forth. He also spiced his pronouncements with black humour. He would tell lecture audiences, “I work in the field of The Collapse of Western Civilisation Studies.” A quarter of a century on, some former Warwick philosophy students still talk about him with awe. Robin Mackay says, “I think he’s one of the most important philosophers of the last 50 years.”

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

For 1/2 of the Liz Truss’ Energy Bailout cost, £90bn, she could nationalise BP! – Liz Truss will freeze the fuel cap at £2,500, at a cost “to the taxpayer” of £180bn, when we could buy BP outright for £90bn bringing a recurrent benefit to the taxpayer of £13bn per annum (based on 2021 BP profits). So why won’t she bring BP into public ownership? says Esther Giles, suspended Labour Party activist, who joins Tony and Martin. Liz Truss’s energy price guarantee replacing the green levies and energy price cap – deal speech – on the same day the Queen died.  Kier Starmer’s reply – energy companies not made to pay.  Privatisation since Thatcher.  How and what to renationalise.  Gas storage facilities. 12 problems in the small print of Liz Truss’s plan to cap your energy bills this winter The new Prime Minister unveiled plans to limit energy bills from rising above £2,500 a year for most Brits. But there are plenty of nasty details hidden in the small print Poor people on pre-paid meters will still be rinsed for cash People on pre-paid meters will have their bills capped too but still pay more than someone paying by direct debit. Paying by direct debit is already cheaper for households as it costs less for firms to bill users for their energy. Essentially, it’s more effort for suppliers to charge people using a pay as you go system, who tend to be poorer than direct debit customers. The Government is changing the fixed unit price for energy for everyone under the new plans, so you are billed per unit of gas or electricity you use. The North loses over the South Government officials believe your bills will work out at £3,300 a year for the average detached house. That falls to £2,650 for semi-detached, £2,450 for end-of-terraces, £2,350 for mid-terraces, £2,450 for bungalows. For converted flats the average is expected to be £1,950 and for purpose-built flats it’s set to be £1,750. A £500,000 home in London is generally a flat whereas a £500,000 home in the north east can be detached and have several bedrooms. This means generally poorer people in larger, northern, colder homes will pay more than those in flats in the south. The north of England is also, of course, colder. The energy crisis has been hitting household billsEnergy giants get to keep their massive profits Liz Truss has refused to impose a new windfall tax on energy producers – called for by Labour. That means they will be able to sail on with excess profits of up to £170bn over two years. Tory allies of Ms Truss argue that higher profits mean more corporation tax, by cash. But Ms Truss is cancelling a big planned rise in corporation tax next year. And all the while, the costs of subsidising huge wholesale prices will be added to the national debt. Dr George Dibb of the IPPR think tank said: “It is morally indefensible that these profits are underwritten by the state whilst households carry the burden and continue to struggle with high prices.” David Robinson of Wildcat Law said: “Make no mistake, the biggest beneficiaries of this will be the energy companies and their shareholders.” UNISON general secretary Christina McAnea said: “The companies raking in billions from soaring energy costs should pay their share.”

Andy Worthington, article, on Truss’s Government energy policy failures so far.  The Greatest Economic Crime in UK History? Liz Truss Caps Energy Prices By Taxing Us For Up to 20 Years Instead of Taxing Energy Companies’ Obscene Windfall Profits – So it’s official, then. On Wednesday, on her first full day in office just before the death of the Queen froze all public-facing political activity for at least a week and a half Liz Truss addressed the UK’s devastating energy bill crisis, which threatens to hurl two-thirds of the country into fuel poverty, and to bankrupt all small- to medium-sized businesses, as well as public sector organisations like the NHS, schools, universities and charities, by capping domestic energy bills at £2,500 a year until 2024, stemming the rise to £3,549 that was to take place on October 1, and which was forecast to rise to an almost unimaginable £5,400 a year in January. – This will still be a nightmare for poorer families who, lest we forget, make up at least half the population because last winter average bills were £1,277 a year, and even now people are struggling with the cap set at £1,971 a year, but what makes the announcement so poisonous, whilst appearing to be the act of a saviour, is that it will be funded not through a windfall tax on the estimated £176 billion in obscene and completely unearned profits of the oil and gas companies who have benefitted from the eleven-fold increase in gas prices since 2019, but by transferring the cost onto taxpayers. Do you see how disgusting and disgraceful this policy is? Truss is refusing to tax the grotesque profits of the oil and gas companies, and is instead proposing to borrow at least £100 billion and maybe more to compensate them for their losses through the cap that is necessary to prevent the total collapse of the British economy, and then making us pay it back in increased bills over the next ten to 20 years, in other words, increased bills every month into the 2030s or even the 2040s simply to preserve the energy companies’ monstrous windfall profits. The shameful unfairness of this ought to spark an instant revolution, but my fear is that the British public, punch-drunk after decades of being told that any criticism of corporate profiteering is morally wrong, will put up with it, grateful that unthinkable disaster has been avoided.

The Sun – comparing food prices here and in Russia.  SANCS A LOT Welcome to sanction-hit Russia, where prices are DOWN as Brits suffer from soaring inflation WELCOME to sanctions-hit Russia – where heating bills and fuel prices are a fraction of those in Britain. Food costs are also coming down every month and Vladimir Putin’s people are partying as if there is no war. After Russia invaded Ukraine in February, Boris Johnson vowed that Western sanctions would “hobble the Russian economy”. In March, Liz Truss as Foreign Secretary announced 65 sanctions and fiercely declared: “Putin should be under no illusions. We are united with our allies and will keep tightening the screw on the Russian economy to help ensure he fails in Ukraine. There will be no let-up.” But six months on, while we are paying the price for the invasion with a crippling cost-of-living crisis, locals in Moscow are upbeat. It is not surprising. Despite claims they would face a severe food shortage, shoppers in Pyaterochka, Russia’s answer to Tesco, load their trolleys high with groceries half the price of ours. In August the price of food in the UK rose at its fastest rate since the economic crash in 2008, jumping to 10.5 per cent compared to the year before. In July, food inflation had accelerated to 9.3 per cent as the war in Ukraine and consequent rise in the price of animal feed, fertiliser, wheat and vegetable oils placed mounting pressure on prices. But it is a very different picture in Moscow where, since the start of the year, the price of food has dropped 11.3 per cent. CASH-RICH COUNTRY Explaining how Russia had managed to buck the trend, strategy specialist Professor Michael Clarke said: “Their government has the cash right now to subsidise food, and as long as they have oil and energy money, they can keep subsiding. “But what the price of energy will be next year is anybody’s guess. It will get a lot harder for them from next year onwards. “At some point I believe their economy will be in very bad shape, either next year or the year after. “But that depends on the price of energy. “The rouble is doing OK because they are making people only buy and sell using the rouble. That will keep the currency strong for a while.” Russian shoppers are barely feeling the impact of financial sanctions imposed on the countryCredit: East2West But the visiting professor at the University of Exeter warned of pain to come, adding: “Sanctions were always a long-term policy. “Russia is a cash-rich country because of energy prices and that will be the case probably until this time next year.

France’s nationalised facilities.  Robert Hanson on green levies.  Andy – overconsumption of humanity encouraged for profits for businesses.  Huge profits of big energy companies.  Foreign investors will take governments to court if they nationalise industries.  Voxpop in Liverpool from ‘Enough is Enough’ campaign on the cost of living crisis.  FT – Eastern Europe better standard of living than us in a few years.  Macron pays out £8.2bn to nationalise EDF– and faces even bigger bill to fix nuclear fleet FRENCH President Emmanuel Macron is facing a staggering bill of £8.2billion in order to nationalise EDF, with reports warning that even bigger problems lie ahead. The French Government has agreed to buy the state-backed energy company EDF at about 12€ (£10.2) per share, as the country is set to buy out the remaining 16 percent of EDF that’s not already state-owned. For Mr Macron, this has put the total cost of nationalisation of the debt-ridden energy firm at €9.7billion (£8.2billion). According to the French finance ministry, this deal would represent a premium of 53 percent to the closing price of July 5, before the government announced the planned nationalisation, adding that the overall value of the buyout offer totalled 9.7 billion euros (£8.2billion). The French government is set to buy out major shareholders including Blackrock, Thornburg Investment Management and Vanguard, and purchase €2.4billion of convertible bonds. Earlier this month, France’s Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne announced that Paris would increase its ownership of the company from 84 percent to 100 would give allow them to restructure the debt-laden energy company, while dealing with a major energy crisis. EDF, which owns nuclear power plants in both France and the UK, is one of Europe’s biggest utilities and is a critical aspect of Mr Macron’s energy strategy, as France relies on nuclear power for 70 percent of its electricity. However, in recent years the company has been burdened with immense debt, nuclear reactor flaws and cost overruns on nuclear plants in France and Britain that reach in the billions of euros. For months, analysts have speculated that Mr Macron would be forced to announce plans to nationalise EDF amidst the various crises the company is facing. Rating agency Fitch hailed the move, calling it a positive development for the company that it will simplify decision-making. This plan could also help Mr Macron roll out ambitious measures to slash consumer energy bills with the fear of backlash from investors. Now that Mr Macron has complete ownership of EDF, he will have to tackle a more significant issue to solving France’s energy crisis, as over half of EDF’s ageing nuclear reactors have gone offline in the past few months. Experts have previously warned Mr Macron of significant corrosion safety problems in EDF nuclear power plants in France as cracks were detected in some nuclear reactors. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Dr Bernard Laponche, the co-author of a recent study on EDF’s reactors warned that cracks in the cooling systems of many of these reactors could result in horrifying disasters that are only comparable to events like “Three Mile Island or Fukushima”. As a result of these corrosion problems, four 1500 MW, seven 1300 MW and one 900 MW reactors are shut down. As a result of these reactor shut downs, EDF has been forced to lower its power output this year, amidst fears of a disastrous winter where fears grow Vladimir Putin could cut Europe off its gas supply. According to Dr Dorfman, it will cost France 100billion euros (£85billion) to repair France’s ageing reactors. Dr Laponche also warned that more reactor shutdowns could happen in the future, as EDF power stations are currently under investigation for similar reactor flaws. EDF is currently responsible for building the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in Somerset. The station was previously set to come online in 2026 but has since been delayed due to Covid-19. Following the delay, EDF announced that the new nuclear power station will operate a year later than planned and cost an additional £3billion.

Guantanamo Bay – campaign to get it closed.   www.andyworthington.co.uk My Reflections on Guantánamo and the 21st Anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks –  The Associated Press recently reported on the failure to successfully prosecute the men accused of involvement in the 9/11 attacks, quoting David Kelley, “a former US attorney in New York who co-chaired the Justice Department’s nationwide investigation into the attacks,” who “called the delays and failure to prosecute ‘an awful tragedy for the families of the victims,’” noting that the decision to try to prosecute the men in a military commission, rather than a US court, was “a tremendous failure” that was “as offensive to our Constitution as to our rule of law,” and was “a tremendous blemish on the country’s history.” Sadly, however, in discussing the torture to which those allegedly responsible for the 9/11 attacks Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other men were subjected, the AP slipped into the kinds of euphemistic descriptions of torture that have, throughout the whole sorry saga of the “war on terror,” blighted a true understanding of how horrendous the US’s response to 9/11 was. As the AP described it, “CIA operatives subjected them to enhanced interrogation techniques that were tantamount to torture, human rights groups say,” adding that “Mohammed was waterboarded made to feel that he was drowning 183 times.” Just to confirm what actually happened, the techniques used were torture, not “tantamount to torture,” and it is not just human rights groups who assert that unarguable fact, and waterboarding is a form of drowning, which can lead to death, not an exercise in which those subjected to it are “made to feel that [they are] drowning.” Perhaps there will eventually be something that resembles justice when it comes to these men. The AP article quoted James Connell, one of the attorneys for Ammar al-Baluchi, one of the five, who “confirmed reports both sides are still ‘attempting to reach a pretrial agreement’ that could … avoid a trial and result in lesser but still lengthy sentences.” This is as reassuring as any news regarding these men can be, because plea deals are the only viable way out of the mire of the torture-tainted military commissions.

S. drone attacks on their villages in border areas along the Afghanistan border, in Islamabad, Pakistan. President Barack Obama’s decision announced Thursday, May 23, 2013, to impose more restrictive rules governing U.S. drone strikes and his prediction that they will be used less could pave the way for better relations with key ally Pakistan as a new government takes power. Former PM Khan accuses Pakistani CIA govt. of blocking YouTube to censor his speech Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan accused the government of temporarily blocking YouTube in the country on Sunday evening to prevent people from listening live to a speech he gave at a political rally. The accusation came after Pakistan’s electronic media regulator late on Saturday announced a ban on the live airing of Khan’s speeches because of what it called his “hate speech” against state institutions. “Imported govt blocked YouTube midway through my speech,” Khan said on Twitter. A spokesman for the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, which regulates the internet in the country, did not immediately respond to a Reuters’ request for comment. Khan has been pushing for new elections in Pakistan after being ousted from power in April through a parliamentary vote. He has been delivering fiery speeches at gatherings across the country. ‘Provocative statements’ “Mr. Imran Khan… in his speeches/statements is continuously … leveling baseless allegations and spreading hate speech through his provocative statements against state institutions,” the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) said in its statement on Saturday. PEMRA said it was, with immediate effect, prohibiting news channels from broadcasting his speeches live, but said recorded speeches could be aired. Khan’s speeches were “prejudicial to the maintenance of law and order and likely to disturb public peace and tranquility”, PEMRA added. Khan has targeted a number of state institutions, including the government, the police and the country’s powerful army. Khan’s party had said shortly after Saturday’s television ban it would go live on “500+ YouTube and Facebook channels.” Pakistan’s Imran Khan calls for early elections after thumping However, many social media users around Pakistan reported problems in accessing YouTube when Khan was about to address a gathering on Sunday evening in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. Khan said in his speech on Sunday that he was being censored for not accepting the current coalition government which had voted him out of power. The television ban came a day after Khan hurled threats against Islamabad’s police chief and a female judge for what he claimed was the arrest and alleged torture of his close aide who is facing sedition charges. His aide had called on lower and middle ranks of the military to defy orders from the top brass. On Sunday Islamabad police booked Khan for threatening police officials and a judicial magistrate under sections of the anti-terrorism act.

History of Pakistan and Afghanistan – Pakistani General Gul kept out of power by the CIA.  CIA’s April 2022 Pakistan Coup: The Ouster Of Imran Khan: How Much Involvement Did the US Have in Pakistan’s Coup? Imran Khan joins the long list of deposed prime ministers and underscores the reality that, in Pakistan, whoever the people elect, the U.S.-backed military is always in charge. ISLAMABAD – Following weeks of high drama and controversy that have racked the nation, Imran Khan has been removed from office. The Pakistani prime minister suffered a vote of no confidence and a loss in the supreme court, ending his rule after less than four years. Coalition partners abandoned him, leaving his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in the minority. The cricket-star-turned-political-leader had been warning for some weeks that a foreign power – assumed to be the United States – was seeking to overthrow him because of his independent foreign policy, which saw Pakistan grow closer to Russia and China. Then, in a long public address on April 8, he directly named Washington as a prime instigator in the regime-change conspiracy, accusing the U.S. of bribing his political allies with tens of millions of dollars to desert his coalition. He described the practice as “open horse trading” and the “selling of lawmakers like goats and sheep.” Khan singled out Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Affairs Donald Lu as the mastermind of the operation. “It was an official meeting between Donald Lu and our ambassador, with notetakers,” he said, sharing a diplomatic cable from Pakistani Ambassador to the United States Asad Majeed, in which he claimed Lu had essentially threatened his country with a coup if it did not immediately change course. In contrast, if Khan were deposed, “all will be forgiven” and Pakistan could return to its status as a favored U.S. ally. Khan then invited several journalists, members of his cabinet, and security agents to view the document. However, the Islamabad High Court immediately blocked the public dissemination of the cable on the grounds that Khan would be breaking his secrecy oath.

Part Two – Ukraine/Sudden Death of Queen Elizabeth II Reports

Scott Ritter: Ukraine’s counteroffensive as pyrrhic victory and the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict – also Russian’s economy doing well, unlike ours. Scott Details Covert Means By Which The US And NATO Are Fighting Russia In Ukraine – Foreign Internal Defense (FID) is mercenary training support to foreign governments, but unlike security assistance, FID may include U.S. military operations as well as other forms of non-military aid. FID “involves application of the instruments of U.S. national power in support of a foreign nation confronted by threats,” according to a new U.S. Army manual that explores the issue in depth. See Foreign Internal Defense, Army Techniques Publication (ATP) 3-05.2, August 19, 2015. “FID may include financial, intelligence, and law enforcement assistance” as well as military support in some cases. “The fundamental goal is to prevent a downward spiral of instability by forestalling and defeating threats and by working to correct conditions that may prompt violence.”

Ukraine’s ‘International Legion’ – “I’d have to categorize the people in the International Legion by ethnic groups,” he said. “The Polish people who come, they see this as an extension of the defense of their own country. They see Ukraine as their backyard. And probably 3000-something Euros a month is a good salary for them. So, you add those factors up, and you have a lot of Polish people. “The other Europeans, in general, are a mixed bag. You have some people who miss military service. You have a lot of people who are just lost, they fucked up a lot in their lives, and they see joining the International Legion as a way to redeem themselves. “And then there are the people from Latin America. They’re motivated by money. From a Colombian’s perspective…they’re pretty well-known for being mercenaries abroad. They’re making way more money fighting for Ukraine than they could dream of making in their own country.”

How to Destroy Russia. 2019 Rand Corporation Report: “How To Overextend and Unbalance Russia” Summary of a Rand Report entitled: Overextending and Unbalancing Russia. Force the adversary to expand recklessly in order to unbalance him, and then destroy him. This is not the description of a judo hold, but a plan against Russia elaborated by the Rand Corporation, the most influential think tank in the USA. With a staff of thousands of experts, Rand presents itself as the world’s most reliable source for Intelligence and political analysis for the leaders of the United States and their allies. The Rand Corp prides itself on having contributed to the elaboration of the long-term strategy which enabled the United States to win the Cold War, by forcing the Soviet Union to consume its own economic resources in the strategic confrontation. It is this model which was the inspiration for the new plan, Overextending and Unbalancing Russia, published by Rand [1]. According to their analysts, Russia remains a powerful adversary for the United States in certain fundamental sectors. To handle this opposition, the USA and their allies will have to pursue a joint long-term strategy which exploits Russia’s vulnerabilities. So Rand analyses the various means with which to unbalance Russia, indicating for each the probabilities of success, the benefits, the cost, and the risks for the USA. Rand analysts estimate that Russia’s greatest vulnerability is that of its economy, due to its heavy dependency on oil and gas exports. The income from these exports can be reduced by strengthening sanctions and increasing the energy exports of the United States. The goal is to oblige Europe to diminish its importation of Russian natural gas, and replace it by liquefied natural gas transported by sea from other countries. Another way of destabilising the Russian economy in the long run is to encourage the emigration of qualified personnel, particularly young Russians with a high level of education. In the ideological and information sectors, it would be necessary to encourage internal contestation and at the same time, to undermine Russia’s image on the exterior, by excluding it from international forums and boycotting the international sporting events that it organises. In the geopolitical sector, arming Ukraine would enable the USA to exploit the central point of Russia’s exterior vulnerability, but this would have to be carefully calculated in order to hold Russia under pressure without slipping into a major conflict, which it would win. In the military sector, the USA could enjoy high benefits, with low costs and risks, by increasing the number of land-based troops from the NATO countries working in an anti-Russian function. The USA can enjoy high probabilities of success and high benefits, with moderate risks, especially by investing mainly in strategic bombers and long-range attack missiles directed against Russia.

Richie Allen, radio host (currently off-air but back by the end of the month), joins Tony and Martin: Russia’s rejection of WEF values with NATO peace rebuttal over Christmas 2021. This week’s Shanghai Co-operation Organisation Conference (SCO) – opposed to the so-called 4th Industrial Revolution.  Putin and Chi – a new UN needed. SCO summit: Putin, Xi call for new intl. order as Iran’s full membership confirmed – Russian and Chinese presidents have urged for re-shaping the international order at the latest Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit which also saw the full-fledged accession of Iran to the organization signed by members. Addressing the event on Friday in the Uzbek city of Samarkand, Russian President Vladimir Putin lauded the increasing influence of countries outside the West. “Our integration is of a non-bloc nature, and we offer assistance in solving energy and food problems that emerge in the world, arising from a number of systemic mistakes in leading global economies in the area of finance and energy,” TASS quoted him as saying. “Hopefully, other participants in economic cooperation will build their policy on the same principles as well, and stop using the tools of protectionism, illegal sanctions and economic egoism opportunistically,” the Russian president added. “The growing role of new centers of power who cooperate with each other… is becoming more and more clear,” Putin added. The summit marked the first face-to-face meeting between Putin and Xi since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, and also the Chinese leader’s first trip abroad since the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. Raeisi calls on SCO to confront US unilateralism through new apPresident Xi also urged regional countries to reshape the international system and “abandon zero-sum games and bloc politics.” He noted that leaders should “work together to promote the development of the international order in a more just and rational direction.” The SCO – made up of China, India, Pakistan, Russia, and the ex-Soviet Central Asian nations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan – was set up in 2001 as a political, economic and security organization to rival Western institutions. SCO declaration and Iran’s accession At the end of the summit, member states released a declaration saying a memorandum of Iran’s commitments was signed for the purpose of the country’s accession to the SCO as a full-fledged member-state. Iran and the organization started a formal process for Tehran’s accession to the bloc in March. Iran’s membership in the body was later approved by the Iranian administration. At its 21st summit in Tajikistan’s capital city of Dushanbe in September 2021, the SCO approved documents for Iran’s full membership in the Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance. In a tweet on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced that he had signed a memorandum of commitment to join the organization.

Maria Zakharova – guided missile systems being given to Ukraine by the West, is crossing the line.  US will cross ‘red line’ if it gives Ukraine longer-range missiles: Russia Russia has warned if the United States supplies Ukraine with longer-range missiles, Washington will cross a “red line” and become “a party to the conflict,” more than six months into Moscow’s military operation in the ex-Soviet republic. In a press conference on Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russia “reserves the right to defend its territory.” “If Washington decides to supply longer-range missiles to Kiev, then it will be crossing a red line, and will become a direct party to the conflict,” she warned. Russia began its “special military operation” in Ukraine on February 24, with a declared aim of “demilitarizing” Donbas, which is made up of the Donetsk and Luhansk self-proclaimed republics. Back in 2014, the two republics, which are predominantly Russian-speaking, broke away from Ukraine, prompting Kiev to launch a bloody war against both regions. The years-long conflict has killed more than 14,000 people, mostly in the Donbas. Since the onset of the ongoing conflict between the two countries, the United States and its European allies have unleashed an array of unprecedented sanctions against Russia and poured numerous batches of advanced weapons in Ukraine to help its military fend off the Russian troops, despite repeated warnings by the Kremlin that such measures will only prolong the war. The US has already provided Kiev with advanced rockets capable of hitting targets up to 80 kilometers away, while so far refusing to publicly announce it would send rockets with more than double that range. Since the beginning of the war, the US has been providing Kiev with military aid, including at least 16 HIMARS systems, four of which arrived in August. HIMARS is a light multiple-rocket launcher that can hit targets with precision. It is capable of launching all rockets specified in the Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM).Its manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, says the system has a “recognized and proven range” of up to 300 kilometers. While Kiev implores for more Western weapons, Moscow says it sent troops to prevent Ukraine being used as a platform for Western aggression and to defend Russian speakers in Donbas. Russian President Vladimir Putin has time and again said the US is prolonging the war in Ukraine as part of what he called Washington’s efforts to maintain its global hegemony.

Mass graves found in Izyum, Ukraine, after Russians retreat. Ukraine finds mass burial site in Izyum after Russians driven out Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russians ‘leaving death behind’ after more than 440 bodies discovered in northeastern town. Ukrainian authorities have found a mass grave in woods near the northeastern town of Izyum, days after recapturing it from occupying Russian forces. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the discovery of the burial site containing some 440 bodies in his address to the country on Thursday night. A regional police official said earlier that some of those killed had died in shelling or air raids. “The necessary procedures have already begun there. More information – clear, verifiable information – should be available tomorrow,” said Zelenskyy, who had visited Izyum on Wednesday. Journalists who travelled to the site described hundreds of graves marked with simple wooden crosses among the trees. A larger grave bore a marker saying it contained the bodies of 17 Ukrainian soldiers, according to the Associated Press news agency. Investigators were using metal detectors to look for any hidden explosives. “I can say it is one of the largest burial sites in a big town in liberated [areas] … 440 bodies were buried in one place,” Serhiy Bolvinov, the chief police investigator for the Kharkiv region, told the United Kingdom’s Sky News. “Some died because of artillery fire … some died because of air strikes.”

Death of the Queen – King Charles III’s first speech. ‘I believe In Angels’. She did, but does he? Many viewers were deeply moved by the new king’s powerful words, but some were left wondering what the meaning was behind his final line. “And to my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa, I want simply to say this: thank you,” he stated. Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. “May ‘flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest’.” So what exactly does that mean? King Charles was actually quoting from William Shakespeare’s epic play Hamlet. In the final scene of the tragedy, almost every character lies dead on the stage and the titular character is dying in his friend Horatio’s arms. When Hamlet passes, Horatio is left alone with bodies all around and looks down to his friend to say an iconic line. “Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince,” says Horatio, before adding: “And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.” The famous line is frequently used by people to express their respect when someone dies . In the rest of his address, the King made William and Kate the Prince and Princess of Wales, much earlier than was expected. His Majesty referred to the new roles and titles now given to members of the family, confirming Camilla would serve has his Queen Consort. On William and Kate, he said: “As my Heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me. “He succeeds me as Duke of Cornwall and takes on the responsibilities for the Duchy of Cornwall which I have undertaken for more than five decades. Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty.”

Floral tributes left for the Queen in central London.  Tributes across the UK: Some grieve while others carry on ‘We’ll miss her’: Thousands gather to mourn UK’s Queen Elizabeth People lay flowers in tribute to late queen at Buckingham Palace and other royal sites across United Kingdom. Thousands of people have gathered across the United Kingdom to pay tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, as her son Charles ascends to the throne amid a wave of global mourning. People flocked to Buckingham Palace in London and other royal sites on Friday as the royal family was preparing funeral services for the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch. Queen Elizabeth died “peacefully” on Thursday at age 96 after reigning as sovereign for more than 70 years, Buckingham Palace said. Despite her advanced age, some expressed shock at the death of the head of state. “I think there really was that whole sense of, ‘Oh, we’ll have her forever.’ And unfortunately, that’s not been the case,” a mourner told Al Jazeera outside of Buckingham Palace. “And I think we’ll really miss her, wish she could have carried on longer.”

Richie Allen bemoans ‘Mourning Sickness’ – when the media goes on and on about death. Mourning Sickness: Dissenting voices on royal mourning have been silenced. This is ‘cancel culture’ says Polly Toynbee A period of mourning is for grief or quiet contemplation, but that hasn’t quite been the way of it. Instead, beneath the dignity and pomp, a kind of panic clutches a very large part of society. What’s the right thing to do in these 12 long days? The mourning police are watching you. I doubt any of this is willed by the royal family, or would have been by the late Queen, who made her own funeral plans. But it exposes the nature of Britain’s bullying culture as its intimidators hunt out any victim they can find. Fear of the Daily Mail, the Sun, the Telegraph, GBNews or TalkTV shockjocks and their social media followers has frightened common sense out of a great swathe of organisations. Center Parcs decided to evict all its guests on funeral day, until sanity prevailed. The Premier League bent over, but golf and cricket, perhaps more class-confident, carried on. Politicians are the most frightened of uttering a single word out of place, so they fall silent in the depths of a cost of living crisis, despite a chancellor reportedly planning to end the cap on bankers’ bonuses and Liz Truss offering an energy bills support package that will barely touch the sides of many people’s spiral into poverty. Even so, political presenter Adam Boulton tweeted that it was worth asking the question: “Why are MPs and their hangers on boozing away on the terrace as our sovereign lies in Westminster Hall?” One moment of unalloyed joy came from the much-mocked video of GBNews’s Dan Wootton performatively laying flowers at Buckingham Palace. Strikers and Extinction Rebellion dared not continue their protests. Hospital appointments and funerals were cancelled as a “mark of respect”. I hear of even internal meetings nonsensically stopped across public and private sectors lest some sneak report them to the self-appointed inquisition. Charities have sought panicky advice: any misstep is particularly dangerous to their reputation.

Swearing King Charles III frustrated by a leaky pen caught on camera during a signing ceremony at Northern Ireland’s Hillsborough Castle. Princess Diana’s response to whether Prince Charles would make a good King.  www.richieallen.co.uk Leaky pen irks King Charles during signing ceremonyBritain’s King Charles vented his frustration at a leaky pen on Tuesday during a signing ceremony in Northern Ireland, the second time in recent days he has shown visible irritation during such proceedings. Charles, visiting Northern Ireland as part of a tour of the United Kingdom to lead mourning for his mother Queen Elizabeth, was greeted by cheering crowds and welcoming speeches, before delivering his own pledge to the region. Shortly after, when signing a visitors’ book in front of cameras at Hillsborough Castle near Belfast, Charles reacted in frustration when a pen he was using leaked on his hand. “Oh god I hate this (pen)!” Charles said, standing up and handing the pen to his wife and Queen Consort Camilla. “Oh look, it’s going everywhere,” Camilla said as Charles wiped his fingers. “I can’t bear this bloody thing… every stinking time,” Charles said as he walked away. Speaking before he was made king, one former aide told Reuters Charles could be fun, but was also short-tempered and demanding. On Saturday when signing documents in London, an irritated Charles gestured for aides to help when a pen holder on the table got in his way. When completing the documents on Tuesday he also used the wrong date, before checking with an aide who told him it was Sept 13, not Sept. 12.

Dr. David Halpin, retired surgeon, on how the Queen’s likely, as yet unannounced, cause of death was most likely thrombosis, blood clots or pulmonary embolism. Possible cause of the ‘bruise’ on her right hand. How Her Majesty’s death could have been related to her three Covid jabs or booster which are known to cause blood clots and could have been evaluated in a post mortem. These have become rarer over the last sixty years but doctors learn a great deal about cause of death from them. Was Her Majesty Embalmed? Why have the the public still not been told what the Queen died of? The Right Reverend Iain Greenshields was with the Queen at Balmoral the weekend before she died – and she seemed fine. He ‘could not believe’ that she had passed away so quickly. How did the queen die? Inside the monarch’s final moments surrounded by her family after major health battlesJune 2022: Discomfort during celebrations On June 3, a day after thrilling crowds on the first day of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Queen pulled out of a celebration at St Paul’s Cathedral. This was due to suffering ‘discomfort’ during the previous day’s celebrations The decision was considered regrettable, it is understood, but sensible due to the length of the journey, the time involved and the physical demands of the event. She went on to miss many other Platinum Jubilee events, making only two public appearances.

BBC TV news video of a Balmoral policeman making a Masonic ‘Eye of Horus’ salute as King Charles’ car enters the estateThe all-seeing eye is a powerful esoteric symbol which is widely misunderstood and misused today, being known as a symbol that’s associated with the “illuminati” and dark sinister forces. Humanity is losing its precious symbology… It was originally symbolic of a higher spiritual power, a watchful caretaker of humanity or an awakened spiritual part within. In ancient Egypt, the all-seeing eye was known as the Eye of Horus. This was a symbol of protection, healing and restoration. The symbol was frequently used in jewelry made of gold, silver, lapis, wood, porcelain, and carnelian, to ensure the safety and health of the bearer and provide wisdom and prosperity. As for the pyramid, it’s symbolic of the shape of the human chakra. The missing capstone represents the unfinished work on the soul and the all-seeing eye represents the gnosis and all-knowing when one reaches godhead. The Eye of Horus seems to have a connection to the human brain and pineal gland, which is oftentimes referred to as “the seat of the soul,” and will remain dormant until the human soul reaches a certain spiritual level. Once this is attained, the gland is activated by the light of the higher self, signaling the divine energies from the kundalini to rise, hence activating the human chakra system. In ancient Egypt the Eye of Horus was broken into six basic components, each representing a different sense: smell, touch, taste, hearing, sight and thought. The thalamus is the part of the human brain which translates all incoming signals from our senses. The average person only uses 5-10% of their mind power, because of Christianity and its related programs that teach spiritual power and knowledge is “evil.”

Mark John McGuire on how King George V was euthanised, with assistance from his successor Edward VIII – Fascinating truth behind King George V’s murder and death: ‘It was manipulated’ KING GEORGE V was administered a legal dose of morphine and cocaine, but the fact he was euthanised and the real reason for it was not revealed for half a century. The Queen’s grandfather, King George V, passed away when he was 70 years old, following his falling ill in 1936 at Sandringham House, Norfolk. The year before, the King – who had five sons and a daughter – had celebrated his silver jubilee. Prior to his death, the King was receiving treatment from his doctor, Bertrand Dawson, 1st Viscount Dawson of Penn and physician to the Royal Family. During a Channel 5 documentary called George V: The Tyrant King – first aired in 2020 – Lord Dawson’s notes were examined. In his diary, it reveals he assisted in the King’s death at 11pm on Janurary 20, 1936. Lord Dawson wrote: “At about 11 o’clock it was evident that the last stage might endure for many hours, unknown to the Patient but little comporting with that dignity and serenity which he so richly merited and which demanded a brief final scene. “Hours of waiting just for the mechanical end when all that is really life has departed only exhausts the onlookers [and] keeps them so strained that they cannot avail themselves of the solace of thought, communion or prayer. “I, therefore, decided to determine the end and injected (myself) morphia gr.3/4 and shortly afterwards cocaine gr.1 into the distended jugular vein… In about 1/4 an hour – breathing quieter – appearance more placid – physical struggle gone.” It is rumoured the King’s final words were “bugger Bognor” as he was told that he would recuperate in West Sussex’s seaside town of Bognor Regis. However, according to Lord Dawson’s diary, the last words the reigning monarch during World War One uttered was “God damn you”. The fact that the King was euthanised at 11pm was deliberate. Royal expert and biographer, Angela Levin, told the documentary that his death was timed so as to make the morning papers, specifically The Times. Ms Levin said: “He also manipulated it so that he would die just before midnight so that his death would make the front page of The Times, which was the King’s favourite paper.” Lord Dawson had, according to his notes, phoned the King’s wife, Queen Mary, in London so that she could tell The Times to “hold back publication”. The headline of The Times article read: “A Peaceful Ending at Midnight”. Historical journalist, Dana Schwartz, has also claimed on the Noble Blood podcast that it had been decided that the news should be broken in the morning papers which were considered more appropriate than the evening ones. Ms Schwartz said on the podcast released on August 23 this year: “He was famously administered euthanasia so that his death could be reported in the dignified morning papers, rather than the more salacious evening ones.”

Mass Trespass on Saturday 24th September “NO” TO CENTER PARCS BUILDING ON OLDHOUSE WARREN “YES” TO A PEOPLE’S FOREST, LIKE EPPING FOREST OR THE NEW FOREST Right next to Crawley is the biggest forest woodland in Sussex. Worth Forest, with Oldhouse Warren at its heart, wraps around the south eastern edge of Crawley, just as Epping Forest wraps round the north eastern edge of London. Oldhouse Warren and Worth Forest’s stretching wildness beautifully complement the happy crowdedness of lovely Tilgate Park. Yet Oldhouse Warren and most of Worth Forest are fiercely private, and nature there has been badly damaged by the past management of their owners. And now Center Parcs and the landowners plan to make big money out of it – building a holiday town of 900 lodges and big visitor attractions utterly unsuited to wild countryside & ancient woodland. This forest should be open and free to us all & a haven for nature, like Epping Forest and the New Forest. Countryside which should be ours to enjoy for free will be lost, whilst much visitors’ cash will flow into the owners’ coffers. SAY “NO” TO NATURE’S EXTINCTION Oldhouse Warren is a place of peace and delight, and home to rare and beautiful wildlife. Ravens and owls, Goshawks, Hobby falcons and even rarer raptors, need its wildness and spreading size for their hunting. Tiny birds like Firecrest and the endangered Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, dainty Redstart, Willow Warbler, Marsh Tit, Hawfinch and Spotted Flycatchers need its varied and ancient habitats to survive. Its ground nesting birds, like Woodcock & Nightjar, have some of their last Sussex refuges here in these forests. They need places where we will leave them in peace. Oldhouse Warren has one of the largest clusters of ancient trees in Worth & St Leonard’s Forests, and those forests have more than anywhere else in Sussex.
