Mayor Marvin introduces much higher mooring rents for boat dwellers in Bristol harbour side. Mandy …., boat dweller, explains what’s happening and how they’re getting round the new rules. Joanne Booth, journalist, on the reasons Marvin may be trying to get rid of boat people in harbour, and the influence of the Merchant Venturers. Bristol Waste bankrupt. Joanne – £3m gone out of Bristol Harbour budget, lots of money spent on consultations. Government run as a business. Help Bristol’s Harbour Community Defend Democracy Bristol’s harbour community are seeking a Judicial Review against Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees’ Cabinet decision to implement unreasonable new harbour fees and charges, without conducting stakeholder consultation. Consultation was promised repeatedly over the course of the last five years. We want to hold Bristol City Council (BCC) to account for making these promises and then subsequently abandoning the process altogether with no warning, giving harbour users just three months’ notice before imposing unreasonable new fees upon us. In some cases this represents an increase of over 150%, pushing many stakeholders into financial hardship. We anticipate that significant legal fees will be incurred by our case against BCC. As a community-driven case, we desperately need your support. We are asking for financial contributions towards legal costs. Please donate if you can and share this page now!

Henry Franklin, of Bristol, believed his car complied with the council’s rules when he drove into the city’s CAZ for his job in Hewish. But the 36-year-old faces losing everything after being fined £4,000 so far for his trips over the past month. Now he must stump up the huge fine and buy a new motor that complies with the rules, or fork out more of fuel on longer, gas-guzzling commutes to avoid the CAZ. ‘I live paycheque to paycheque. If all these fines are upheld, I’m looking at roughly £4,000 to pay,’ he said.

Margaret Thatcher, and the man in the shadows By Tony Gosling | RT | April 16, 2013 Eyebrows have been raised around the world to see Brits in their thousands dancing through the night in spontaneous street parties following the death of 1980s Prime Minister ‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher. Chris Busby on UK and depleted uranium. BBC – Putin saying consequences to UK using depleted uranium in Ukraine. Chris Busby on depleted uranium and why it’s used in weapons, and how it effects health. Cancer as Weapon: Sowing Battlefields With Depleted Uranium – With the UK’s unconscionable decision to send Depleted Uranium ammunition to Ukraine, it’s perhaps useful to revisit the environmental and health consequences of the US’s widespread use of such weapons in Iraq and Kuwait during the first Gulf War. This short essay is adapted from my book, Been Brown So Long It Looked Like Green to Me: the Politics of Nature. At the close of the first Gulf War, Saddam Hussein was denounced as a ferocious villain for ordering his retreating troops to destroy Kuwaiti oil fields, clotting the air with poisonous clouds of black smoke and saturating the ground with swamps of crude. It was justly called an environmental war crime. But months of bombing of Iraq by US and British planes and cruise missiles has left behind an even more deadly and insidious legacy: tons of shell casings, bullets and bomb fragments laced with depleted uranium. In all, the US hit Iraqi targets with more than 970 radioactive bombs and missiles. It took less than a decade for the health consequences from this radioactive bombing campaign to begin to coming into focus. And they are dire, indeed. Iraqi physicians call it “the white death”-leukemia. Since 1990, the incident rate of leukemia in Iraq has grown by more than 600 percent. The situation is compounded by Iraq’s forced isolations and the sadistic sanctions regime, recently described by UN secretary general Kofi Annan as “a humanitarian crisis”, that makes detection and treatment of the cancers all the more difficult. “We have proof of traces of DU in samples taken for analysis and that is really bad for those who assert that cancer cases have grown for other reasons,” said Dr. Umid Mubarak, Iraq’s health minister.

Gene edited food now given go ahead in UK, as hardier crops will be needed for climate change effects – Commercial development of gene-edited food now legal in England Researchers in Cambridge are developing gene-edited potatoes that don’t bruise in order to reduce food waste Gene-edited food can now be developed commercially in England following a change in the law. Supporters of the technology say it will speed up the development of hardier crops that will be needed because of climate change. Critics say that the change could bring ”disaster” to our food production and the environment. Gene editing involves making precise changes to an organism’s DNA to enhance certain characteristics. The new law also opens the door to the development of gene-edited farm animals, but a further vote by MPs will be required before it is allowed, again only in England. The Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish governments have not permitted the commercial use of gene editing. Scientists say that gene editing can help to produce new climate-change resistant crops quickly Gene editing in England had been covered under the same tight regulation that has restricted the commercial development of GM crops under EU law. Brexit has enabled the Westminster government to relax the rules for the newer technology. The chief scientific advisor for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), Prof Gideon Henderson, says that the new rules will lead to better food production and bring jobs and investment to England. “What’s changed is that we can now use precision breeding technology developed in the lab and take it into the fields so that we can grow better crops and bring them to market more readily so that we can use the technology to enhance agricultural outcomes and food production in the UK and globally,” he said. The Precision Breeding Act allows only genetic changes that could also have been produced naturally or through traditional crossbreeding programmes already in use today. GM can involve the introduction of genes from other species and will not be permitted.

Eric Simon, lorry driver, on French protests, and how the political system in rigged. These protests are no longer just about pension reform – and they’re not over yet “We’ll stay here and fight as long as we can tonight. Then we’ll go and set fires across the city” The words of boys, members of a ‘black bloc’ group, to our team as riot police stood metres away. With their faces covered, dressed almost head to toe in black, they spoke to us politely. Very young but determined, nonetheless, to cause as much disruption as possible. These were some of the “hijackers” the French government had described as taking over national protests, no matter the cause. And as dusk fell, chants of “we hate the police” echoed against walls surrounding Nation. It was the square where tens of thousands finished their march against President Macron’s pension reform. The cross-union protest, which was largely peaceful, deteriorated into a melee of mixed messages, united by anger towards their president. As dozens gripped the central sculpture “la Triomphe de la Republique” refusing to leave, pop up groups of singing protesters walked around it.

Another French Revolution? Heiko Khoo, who does weekly Marxist tours in London, and is at Speakers Corner every Sunday, on the French protests and Macron’s pension reforms. Marxist tours of London www.MarxWalks.comSubject Access YouTube channel – Decision on bringing forward UK pension age rise to 68 delayed until after general electionMove affecting millions born in early 1970s unlikely to come before general election expected in 2024 A decision on whether to bring forward the date when the state pension age rises to 68 has been postponed until after the next general election, the government has announced. Responding to a review of the UK retirement system’s funding, the work and pensions secretary, Mel Stride, told MPs on Thursday that now was not the time to make the change. Under current plans, the state pension age of 66 is due to rise to 67 in a phased introduction between 2026 and 2028, and then to 68 between 2044 and 2046 – affecting people born after April 1977. A 2017 government review suggested bringing the latter range forward to the late 2030s, forcing millions of people born in the early 1970s who expected to retire at 67 to wait another year. Reports in January claimed ministers planned to bring forward this increase to 2035 – affecting people who are 54 and under today – in response to lobbying by the Treasury hoping to save billions of pounds in state pension payments. However, with a general election expected in the autumn next year, ministers had feared a potential backlash to the change from middle-aged voters. Riots in France over a planned increase in the country’s pension age from 62 to 64 have also spooked UK officials in favour of the changes.

George Szamuely, joins Tony and Martin to discuss geopolitics: Finland to join NATO. WEF Young Leaders. Russia/Ukraine war. US more interested in China than Russia. George’s book: Bombs for Peace: NATO’s Humanitarian War on Yugoslavia In the late 1990s NATO dropped bombs and supported armed insurgencies in Yugoslavia while insisting that its motives were purely humanitarian and that its only goal was peace. However, George Szamuely argues that NATO interventions actually prolonged conflicts, heightened enmity, increased casualties, and fueled demands for more interventions. Eschewing the one-sided approach adopted by previous works on the Yugoslavian crisis, Szamuely offers a broad overview of the conflict, its role in the rise of NATO’s authority, and its influence on Western policy on the Balkans. His timely, judicious, and accessible study sheds new light on the roots of the contemporary doctrine of humanitarian intervention.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18526911-bombs-for-peace

Trump speech at rally in Waco, Texas – need to get rid of deep state. Trump indictment. Trump casts 2024 contest in apocalyptic terms at Waco rally Waco, Texas: Donald Trump used his first election rally in Waco, Texas, to cast the 2024 presidential vote in apocalyptic terms, slam his leading Republican rival Ron DeSantis and rail against prosecutors pursuing him with criminal investigations he likened to a “Stalinist Russia horror show”. Speaking to several thousand of his diehard supporters, some flashing signs saying “WITCH HUNT”, Trump spent much of his nearly two-hour speech attacking the multiple investigations that have put him in legal peril as politically motivated. Trump accused the administration of Democratic President Joe Biden of orchestrating his criminal prosecution to undermine his bid for the White House. “The Biden regime’s weaponisation of law enforcement against their political opponents is something straight out of the Stalinist Russia horror show,” Trump said. “From the beginning it’s been one witch hunt and phony investigation after another.” Trump doesn’t just face legal peril. His effort to lock in the Republican nomination faces a potential challenge from DeSantis, the governor of Florida, amid signs that his own support is softening, at least in places like New Hampshire, an early primary battleground. The former president is seeking to turn the hush money case in New York to his advantage by raising money off it and using it to rally supporters. On Friday, he said the country faced potential “death and destruction” if he was charged with a crime. With a hand over his heart, Trump stood at attention when his rally opened with a song called Justice for All performed by a choir of people imprisoned for their roles in the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. Some footage from the insurrection was shown on big screens displayed at the rally site as the choir sang the national anthem and a recording played of Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Trump also found time to nurse old grievances and return to the extreme allegations and name-calling that were a hallmark of his presidency. Several times Trump repeated the false claim that his election loss in 2020 was due to a systemic fraud orchestrated by the Democrats. He described some American officials and senior US politicians – including Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell – as a bigger threat to America than China or Russia and claimed to be fighting Marxists and Communists. “Either the deep state destroys America or we destroy the deep state,” Trump said. Speaking ahead of Trump’s speech, Matt Schomburg, 45, said he believed the rally was a way to energise his supporters for the 2024 race. “We are so divided as a country and Trump did so many good things for the economy, the border – we’d just love to have his leadership again,” said Schomburg, who works in insurance and is from Houston.

Zelensky says if he loses Bakhmut he will be forced to compromise with Russia. Ukraine offensive in April. How other Countries and people feel about Ukraine war and US. Iran Saudi JCPOA agreement. Zelensky Says if He Loses Bakhmut, He Will Be Pushed to ‘Compromise’ With Russia The Ukrainian leader told AP his country will lose without US support Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told The Associated Press on Wednesday that if the Donbas city of Bakhmut falls to Russia, he would be pressured to “compromise” with Moscow. “Our society will feel tired” if the Russians win in Bakhmut, Zelensky said. “Our society will push me to have compromise with them.” He said if Bakhmut falls, Russian President Vladimir Putin could “sell this victory to the West, to his society, to China, to Iran” as leverage to seek a ceasefire deal that would involve Kyiv ceding territory to Moscow. “If he will feel some blood smell that we are weak he will push, push, push,” Zelensky said. Russian forces are close to encircling the city of Bakhmut, but the battle is still raging as Ukraine continues to send soldiers into what has become known as the “meat grinder.” Ukrainians fighting on the front lines have told the media that soldiers are being sent into battle with very little training, support, and ammunition.

Scott Ritter on China and Taiwan, and US. China worried about Taiwan being highly armed. China and India told to change because of climate change, but they want more economic growth first. Heiko Khoo – WEF and Covid splintering globalisation. World Economic Forum admits that depopulation is their goal – Yuval Noah Harari admitted on a podcast recently that it is the contention of the ‘elites’ in the World Economic Forum that most of us are useless eaters hoping for crumbs. “We just don’t need the vast majority of the population.” WEF Advisor/Historian Yuval Noah Harari It’s important to know what your self-proclaimed ‘betters’ have planned for you. It is the burden of those not content to relegate themselves to being a mere ‘low-information voter’ to maintain eternal vigilance and to call out tyrannical practices being quietly ushered in under our noses. Yuval Noah Harari, a key advisor of Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum, said the quiet part out loud recently during an interview with Chris Anderson, head of the TED media group. Harari stated in flowery terms that the elites just don’t need the vast majority of humans to exist. An unrepentant ‘transhumanist’, Harari seems to believe that a large portion of us would better serve mankind by realizing the futility of our existence and getting out of the way. What a way to win people over.

CASH OR SLAVERY? Catherine Austin Fitts on CBDC – Central Bank Digital Currency.  I Want to Stop CBDCs What Can I Do?  Many subscribers and readers of the Solari Report have asked how they can stop the implementation of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in the U.S. and other countries. It is important to recognize that there is a great deal that each one of us can do to take action. In a highly leveraged financial system such as we have, a single individual counts for a lot.  (1) USE CASH whenever possibleand let everyone know why you are using cash. Walk out on establishments that refuse to accept cash. When using remote facilities where cash is not possible, use checks if you can. We understand from one subscriber that check companies are scrambling to fill the orders of all of the bank customers who have requested checks recently. Whether the indicator is banking statistics or anecdotal reports from our subscribers, cash use is clearly rising. (2) NURTURE ANALOG. We want a healthy balance of digital and analog transaction options. What we do not want is an all-digital systemwhether it is CBDCs or all of the other digital mechanisms. Some digitization is both healthy and efficient, but an all-digital systemwith regards to virtually anythingis vulnerable to central control and manipulation. Roll back your use of digital systems, avoid biometric technology as much as possible, and dont use QR codes! Get invasive surveillance systems out of your home. Use hard-wired Internet connections, not Wi-Fi, and find other ways to Loosen Technologys Grip on Your Mind. While you are at it, refuse to use or support vaccine passports (see 22 Ways to Stop Vaccine ID Passports). (3) SEEK INTEGRITY. Transact with people of integrity, even if to do so appears to cost more. In the end, fraudsters and others who contribute to unhealthy systems through their own greed or lust for power cause untold losses. All those little expenses related to transacting with integrity can end up being lifesavers if the alternative is you having assets in Madoff and Lehman Brothers.  (4) BANK AT AN INTIMATE SCALE. Find a good, well-managed local bank or credit union for your banking business (see How to Find a Good Local Bank). Talk to your bankers to educate them about the dangers to you and the bank of a CBDC system. See our template letter, which you can share with your bank, modifying it to include your own individual circumstances and CBDC-related concerns.  (5) FINANCE YOUR FRIENDS, NOT YOUR ENEMIES. Start reducing your number of online and digital financial transactions and evolve away whenever possible from relying on or investing in the fintech and credit card companies that are financing and promoting digital IDs, vaccine or health passports, and CBDCs. Financing your local farmer or farm distribution service may not look like a great money-maker, but it means you will have a better chance of not being cornered into eating insects and lab-grown meat. (6) SUPPORT STATE OFFICIALS WHO SUPPORT FINANCIAL FREEDOM. Ask your state legislators to start a sovereign state bank like the Bank of North Dakota to protect your right to free financial transactions. Make sure it is a sovereign bank that supports (and does not and cannot compete with) private community banks and credit unions, and helps to ensure they can provide free private financial transactions.  7) DEMAND THE NEW YORK FED BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Write and call your congressional representatives: Tell each representative that you are a constituent and you want them to take the following actions, whether through legislation, denial of funding, or other available leverage they can apply:  (8) DEMAND THE U.S. EXIT THE WHO. Also ask your congressional representatives to end U.S. membership in the World Health Organization (WHO) and stop financing the WHO with our tax dollars. The WHO, among other unacceptable actions, is using the health care system to institute vaccine passports, which is simply a way of getting the authentication system needed for CBDCs and spatial control. (9) SAY NO TO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. Regarding taxation, the CBDC is a way to implement taxation without representation. Ask all of your federal and state representatives and everyone you know before you pay your taxes on April 15th, why we should pay our taxes when (a) $21 trillion, or $65,000 per person in the U.S., is missing from government coffers and (b) the U.S. government has gone along with a system in which the government books are cooked via Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board Statement 56. (10) PROTECT THE SECOND AMENDMENT. It will be hard to legislate and adopt CBDCs in the United States if the population is well armed. Get trained and buy a gun. Support the groups fighting to protect the Second Amendment. Support the legislators who make sure that efforts at gun control are stopped.  (11) WARN YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. People need to know what the central bankers are planning so they, too, can take action now. Send these four videos to your friends and family who want to be free.  (12) DONT LET PROPAGANDA CONVINCE YOU CBDCs ARE OK. Educate yourself about the propaganda tactics used to sell you on things that are not in your best interest.  (13) CELEBRATE THE OPPORTUNITY. Decentralizing financial power can significantly improve our economy. It is a serious opportunity if we can grab it. Join with interested neighbors and explore practical opportunities particularly around local fresh food. If we grow our own food supply, it will make it much harder for the bankers to control the transaction system. Start a Solari Circle if you want to defend each other and take local action together.

David Livingstone on Order of the Nine Angles, Accelerationism and Satanism. Land has also “highly-recommended” the works of David Myatt’s fascist Satanist Order of Nine Angles (O9A), whose international distributor is adept Kerry Bolton, founder of the Black Order and associate of Alexander Dugin. On his blog and on Twitter, Land describes Dugin as his “best enemy,” and also accepts Dugin’s appellation of “Atlanticist,” par of Dugin’s Land and Sea dichotomy that pits the West and NATO against his own ambition for his own anti-liberal Eurasian empire. “We agree exactly about what the war is,” expands Land, “We’re just on opposite sides of it.” Accelerationism is the name of a contemporary political heresy: the insistence that the only radical political response to capitalism is not to protest, disrupt, critique, or détourne it, but to accelerate and exacerbate its uprooting, alienating, decoding, abstractive tendencies. Accelerate presents a genealogy of accelerationism, tracking the impulse through 90s UK darkside cyberculture and the theory-fictions of Nick Land, Sadie Plant, Iain Grant, and CCRU, across the cultural underground of the 80s (rave, acid house, SF cinema) and back to its sources in delirious post-68 ferment, in texts whose searing nihilistic jouissance would later be disavowed by their authors and the marxist and academic establishment alike.

Margaret Thatcher, and the man in the shadows

By Tony Gosling | RT | April 16, 2013

Eyebrows have been raised around the world to see Brits in their thousands dancing through the night in spontaneous street parties following the death of 1980s Prime Minister ‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher.

As the nickname suggests, she had a fearsome reputation round the world for hitting hard for Britain, but at home it was a different story. In the industrial North most knew several families who lost their livelihood on her watch. Londoners saw ominous shifting sands, homeless youngsters begging on the streets whom her regime had turned it’s back on.

The taboo not a single commentator has broached though is the shadowy ‘advisory’ role played throughout her premiership by European banking fraternity’s Labour peer Lord Victor Rothschild. He was revealed in the book the Thatcher government tried to suppress, Peter Wright’s Spycatcher, to be behind London’s top secret service appointments. In 1986 Rothschild penned ‘Paying for Local Government’ the policy paper that led to the notorious Poll Tax that fell hardest on the poorest, and which brought Britons onto the streets of London in their hundreds of thousands in 1990, riots echoing London’s Poll Tax revolt of 1381.

And according to the then BBC Chairman Marmaduke Hussey, Lord Victor also initiated the sacking in 1987 of the last independent-minded Director General of the BBC, a castration from which the corporation never quite recovered.

One word captures the essence of the Thatcher legacy; ‘privatisation’. As an exasperated former Tory Prime Minster Harold Macmillan put it “she’s selling off the family silver!”. And so tens of mind-boggling billions of pounds of silver were auctioned off to the highest bidders, mostly to Rothschild’s kith and kin. From shipyards and public housing to telephones, steel, oil, gas and water, anyone in the world was free to own the infrastructure and manufacturing heart of Britain that was once collectively ‘ours’.

Was this to pay the USA Lend-Lease second world war debts? To repay Britain’s humiliating 1976 IMF loan? Or simply to fill the hole left in the national accounts after Thatcher dropped income tax on Britain’s richest by more than half from 83% to 40%? Or was it just daylight robbery? When she refused to join the EMU, the forerunner to the vice-like Euro, she was promptly knifed in the back by those who sing her praises today.

Since Thatcher, City institutions have bought up much of our politics and mass media, leaving a post-industrial wasteland ‘museum’ of a nation where the Joseph Rowntree Foundation recently estimated six-and-a-half million British adults are being cruelly blamed, punished and made destitute for ‘not wanting’ full-time jobs, that don’t exist.

Today the cracks that Margaret and Victor’s turbo-charged crowbar opened up have become a chasm which is reawakening this nation’s anger at injustice. The £10 million of taxpayers money being spent on Lady Thatcher’s state funeral, by the millionaires for the millionaires, is rubbing salt in the wounds. Hundreds of thousands of Britons who know right from wrong will turn away and raise a solemn glass to the damnation of Margaret Thatcher and her ‘rehabilitation of greed’ this week, demanding better. The sleeping giant of the British public is rousing from its slumber.

As millionaire Prime Minister David Cameron reads the Christian eulogy at Lady Thatcher’s lavish funeral, those of Britain’s ruling class who still have something resembling a conscience will do well to heed them.

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

Jasmine York, Kill the Bill protestor (29) who was jailed, joins Tony and Martin. Jasmine explains what it was like going to one of the worst women’s prisons in Britain. Jasmine’s diary she wrote in prison. Many of her fellow prisoners were mentally ill. How can society and policing improve?  Mental illness dealt with by Police.  Jasmine’s speech at Kill the Bill anniversary march.  Strategy of Tension orchestrated by security services.  A protestor’s speech at Kill the Bill anniversary march.  Peaceful ‘kill the bill’ protest staged two years on from riot ‘Kill the bill’ protesters took to the streets on Tuesday evening to mark two years to the day since the infamous demonstration that descended into violence outside Bridewell Police Station. The ‘stand against state violence’ peaceful protest was held to show solidarity with people sentenced for their actions during the riot on March 21, 2021, and their families, and “the brutality of the police towards demonstrators”. More than 200 people came together in the Bearpit before marching to the same police station, on Bridewell Street, that came under attack two years ago. Shouts of “whose streets? Our streets!” and “no justice, no peace, no racist police” could be heard as the droves of people, many with their faces covered with scarves and marks, weaved through the city centre, stopping oncoming traffic. It was lead by half a dozen marchers holding a banner reading ‘free the prisoners, drop the charges’, with police officers closely monitoring the demonstration. One protester was Heidi Gedge, mother of Mariella Gedge-Rogers who was sentenced to five and a half years for riot for her actions during the 2021 riot. She says her daughter was “unfairly” imprisoned and “brutally attacked” by police, and has been campaigning for a year with the Justice for the Bristol Protesters group. Gedge told Bristol24/7: “Our campaign is set on getting the narrative out there, finding out why police officers have not been punished for their role on the day because a lot of the violence was instigated by the police.” “We want to get the riot charges dropped and get them freedom.”

Bristol CopWatch: Yesterday evening we attended the peaceful Kill The Bill 2 demonstration and march in Bristol and as John said in his speech outside Bridewell Police station  ‘over the past few years of our existence we have seen numerous abuses of power. We have witnessed the machinery of the state in action! We understand the damage the criminal justice system and the police can do to people’s lives.’ Which is why in 2023 we are very keen to develop more of a street presence and routinely monitor the police in our communities where we know stop and search is bad, where police harassment and targeting is commonplace and where some of the most vulnerable in our community can feel alone. We want you to know that you are never alone and that as always we see you because #WeCopWatch.  This Friday we’re discussing predictive policing in Avon and Somerset with the awesome Liberty and other civil society groups and community activists. All we know so far is that the police have risk scored 250,000 of us in this county and the IBM Offender Management predictive policing technology they use has no safe guarding to prevent profiling and discrimination, not only that but officers receive no training. What does police intervention for offenders on their localised gang matrix look like? We don’t know because Avon and Somerset Police won’t say. This is not how you build trust and heal divides. But being honest, we expect nothing less from Avon and Somerset Police. Our casework team has developed working relationships with the IOPC and organisations such as SARI to help support our community yet we remain fearless independent of police oversight as we will not erode trust in the communities we have supported since 2020. In 2023 we would like to see the police take ownership and acknowledge the damage and trauma they can create in people’s lives.

Ian Henshall, author of ‘9/11: The New Evidence’ also joins Tony and Martin.  Drugs trade and secret services.   The original 9/11 Revealed attracted lavish praise from reviewers in the Daily Mail and Sunday Times for the ‘huge gaps’ it exposed in the official 9/11 story. It became a non-fiction bestseller despite a wall of silence by the broadcast media and condemnation in a special web page set up by the US State Department. Since then the story has produced many sinister new twists, including: Pentagon whistleblowers have accused the ‘Independent 9/11 Commission’ of lying; long-suppressed eyewitness testimony has been released confirming multiple explosions in the Twin Towers before and during their collapses; the much vaunted video purporting to prove that Flight 77 hit the Pentagon showed nothing at all; and an analysis of terrorist trials and arrests since 2001 indicates that far from the ‘600 Al Qaeda sleeper cells in the US’ (CIA) there were none at all. In this sequel to 9/11 Revealed, Ian Henshall examines the precedents of black operations by the US/UK, from Northern Ireland to Italy, from Vietnam to Kosovo; he looks at the various 9/11 theories, including the latest twists in the official story, and tests them against the evidence. Finally, he asks what might happen when the storm of popular outrage collides with the regime in Washington and London and outlines the radical changes needed if Washington and London are ever again to function as genuine democracies.

Simon Kilane, former Councillor in Malmsbury, on how people can be bought off, or destroyed if they won’t take a bribe. Malmesbury councillor publishes list of complaints against him thrown out by Wiltshire Council A COUNCILLOR believes there is a campaign against him after a series of failed complaints about his behaviour were lodged with Wiltshire Council. Cllr Simon Killane, who sits on the town council and represents Malmesbury on Wiltshire Council, was the subject of a number of complaints from town councillor Julie Exton and members of the public. But he said most of the allegations have been thrown out by Wiltshire Council and he expects the rest to be dismissed too. Cllr Killane, who has been on Wiltshire Council for more than five years, told the Standard that one of the allegations by Cllr Exton followed an exchange between the two after a town council meeting. Recommended by He admitted that he criticised Cllr Exton after she made comments about his popularity following the meeting, but insists that there were no grounds for a complaint. Following this argument, Cllr Exton’s son, Chris Exton, launched a petition calling for Cllr Killane to resign and then more people made complaints against him. Cllr Killane said: “These included untrue accusations of inappropriate behaviour, completely false claims that my behaviour towards people in the High Street warranted police action, unfounded accusations of corruption and cruel, untrue accusations alleging abusive behaviour towards my son.” He also said there have been instances of threatening behaviour towards him from some members of the community, both online and in real life. “My wife has been put through tremendous stress and struggles to take the kids to school in the mornings thanks to these vicious and totally out of order accusations,” he added. Cllr Exton said she stands by the complaints she has lodged, stating that she was not alone in her views on Cllr Killane.

Leaked Bristol NUJ branch letter warning journalists to be careful of violent protesters (not police, who injured and arrested journalists at the Kill The Bill demos, then lied about police injuries). Response to criticism of letter by branch chair James Garrett. Kill The Bill: Are Bristol branch of the NUJ too close to Avon and Somerset Police? The Bristol NUJ has sent out ‘advice’ to local journalists regarding the ‘Kill the Bill 2’ protest meeting at the Bearpit this Tuesday (21 March) from 5.30pm. And there’s some very interesting framing and attitudes in it indeed: Our observations and comments on this email are in italics: Some of you will be covering what’s billed as KilltheBill2, a demonstration on Tuesday next week which marks the second anniversary of the notorious disturbances in which Bridewell police station was attacked and many arrests made. No mention of police attacking protestors first as plenty of eye-witness statements claim? We can expect this event to be well attended and it may be the most antagonistic public order event in Bristol since the attack on Bridewell. Surely the most anatagonistic protest since Avon and Somerset Police assaulted protestors outside Bridewell? There may also be hostility towards the media from a minority of protesters. Really? Surely the hostility towards journalists came from police, with at least one local editor being arrested last time? If protestors are ‘hostile’ to journalists it’s usually because they’re being filmed for clickbait articles. This film can be and is seized to use as evidence to lock protestors in Bristol up for a long time through abuse of the Riot Act. The kind of miscarriages of justice those same local journalists won’t bother reporting. Regardless of who you are or who you think you are, film people at protests and you’re asking for trouble. The mood may be heightened by the release on Tuesday of the Casey report, expected to show endemic racism, sexism and homophobia in the Met. Turns out that those of us who have said for years that the cops are a violent racist misogynist gang are correct.

Van life – rents too high.  Ways to live outside the system.  Kees van der Pils book ‘States of Emergency: ….’.    Ever since large parts of the world were placed in lockdown in March 2020 in the name of public health, there has been a growing public suspicion that some sort of global seizure of power and social transformation is being implemented under guise of the extraordinary suspension of democracy and unprecedented restrictions of basic freedoms occurring in so many countries at the same time. This book contends that since the financial collapse of 2008, populations in many countries have become restive in the face of extreme inequality and diminishing life chances. In a digital economy, one to two billion people will soon be superfluous, but they are not likely to remain sitting on their hands; in many parts of the world their resistance has begun. The Western capitalist elites have lost the capacity to engage their respective peoples in an equitable social contract and have resorted to stoking fear — from the terrorism scare and the Russian threat to the COVID infliction, with more variants coming on line — as a formula for curtailing protest and maintaining power. It analyses the social forces driving this process: the US national security state and its intelligence apparatus, the IT giants spun off from it, and the large media conglomerates that have joined forces to create a comprehensive surveillance system of Orwellian dimensions The production of disease threats is amplified by the Gates Foundation and other public international organizations including the WHO, along with the pharmaceutical industries, foresee unprecedented profit in plans to inoculate the world population with experimental gene therapies sold as vaccines. Ideas on using a pandemic to initiate a worldwide state of siege have matured until the need for collective intervention — the threat of a new financial meltdown and the need to remove Trump — prompted global elites to seize the day.

France demos turning violent – King Charles cancels visit.  Al Jazeera – French protests report.  History of protest and human rights in France.  Jasmine’s campaigns she supports – Bristol Anti Repression Campaign and Justice for Bristol Protestors. Police vehicles set on fire as French riots continue after King’s visit cancelled Police vehicles were set on fire by protesters in France, as President Emmanuel Macron faced another day of violent demonstrations. Thousands fought running battles with heavily armed officers at a gathering on Saturday at Sainte-Soline, near Poitiers. Gerald Darmanin, the interior minister, said two critically injured people – one of them a police officer, the other a protester – were transported by helicopter to hospital. They were protesting against the deployment of a new water-storage centre, and comes a day after clashes elsewhere in the country over Mr Macron’s plan to push the retirement age up from 62 to 64 without a parliamentary vote. Those riots had led to the cancellation of a royal visit from King Charles III. “While the country is rising up to defend pensions, we will simultaneously stand up to defend water,” said the organisers gathering under the banner of “Bassines non merci” (“No to reservoirs, thank you”). As the violence intensified on Saturday Mr Darmanin said “far left” rioters were also using mortars to fire explosives at the police. Three police vehicles were completely burned out, and multiple officers injured. Mr Darmanin said: “In Sainte-Soline, the ultra left and the far left are extremely violent against our gendarmes. This is appalling and unacceptable.” “No-one should tolerate this,” he added. “My full support is with the police.” Earlier this week, Mr Darmanin accused anti-government thugs of “trying to bring down the state and kill police officers”. “Police have completely lost control,” said one of the demonstrators at Saint-Soline. “Vehicles have been set on fire using Molotov cocktails, and officers are running away, while firing tear gas cannisters at us.” A police spokesperson said: “Explosives are being used against us, and we are trying to bring the situation under control. “There are radicals in the crowd who are trying to severely injure the forces of law and order.” He said an estimated 6,000 people had turned up to the protest – ecological demonstrators swelled by those demonstrating against Mr Macron’s retirement reforms. The Sainte-Soline water reserve is one of 16 installations developed by a group of 400 farmers to reduce mains water usage in summer. Opponents claim these so-called “megabasins” are reserved for large export-oriented grain farms, and work against the local community. It follows more than a week of intense social disorder across France that made cancelling Charles’s visit inevitable. Threats made against him included the words “Death to the King”, a macabre message that was scrawled by protesters on walls in Paris. They prompted Mr Macron to say: “I think it would not be responsible and would lack some common sense if we invited His Majesty the King and the Queen Consort for a state visit in the midst of the demonstrations.” Senior politicians including Mr Macron had received threats evoking the guillotine used to execute Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette – the last rightful king and queen of France. The words “Death to the King” had even appeared in bright red graffiti on Place de la Concorde – the central Paris square where Louis and his wife were killed. Another scrawled message read “Charles III do you know the guillotine?” The French feared the security of King Charles could not be guaranteed “because of his interest in mingling with crowds”, according to security sources. A crack team of officers from the SDLP Protection Service unit rigorously studied the monarch’s profile. “They became aware of the King’s habit of impromptu handshakes, and talking to ordinary people whenever he could,” said a source who was involved in the planning of events. “There are huge social tensions in France, and there is no doubt that such good manners could have been very dangerous indeed.” The development was a major humiliation for Mr Macron, especially as a visit to Germany by the Royal couple next week will go ahead as planned. Eric Ciotti, leader of the opposition Republicans party in France, said the chaotic security situation was a national embarrassment. “The visit of Charles III is cancelled by the government due to social unrest,” said Mr Ciotti. “What an image for our country, which is not even able to ensure the security of a head of state.”

Chris Busby on depleted uranium and modular reactors.  Chris Busby on George Monbiot, The Nuclear Cancer Conspiracy, Radiation from Ukraine and the Greens. Uranium weapons being employed in Ukraine have significantly increased Uranium levels in the air in the UK Christopher Busby Environmental Research SIA, Riga Latvia christo@greenaudit.org Abstract Data covering the period November 2017 to November 2022 was obtained from the Atomic Weapons Establishment, Aldermaston to find if there was an increase in Uranium associated with the Ukraine war. Results from 9 High Volume Air Samplers deployed onsite and offsite by AWE showed that there were significantly increased levels of Uranium in all 9 HVAS samplers beginning in February 2022 when the war began. The result has significant public health implications for the UK and Europe. Keywords: uranium, depleted uranium, particles, Ukraine War, Aldermaston, cancer, birth defect. Background Uranium weapons have been increasingly employed in battle action since their first use by the US and UK forces in the Persian Gulf War in 1991. Since then, they have been used in the Balkans in the late 1990s, then Kosovo in 2000, probably in Afghanistan in 2002 and then also in the 2nd Gulf War (GW2) in March and April 2003. On impact, uranium penetrators burn fiercely to give an aerosol of sub micron diameter oxide particles which are largely insoluble and remain in the environment for many years [1]. There is considerable public and scientific concern that these radioactive particles may remain suspended for long periods, or may become resuspended and are therefore available for inhalation by non-combatants at some distance from the point of impact. Little research seems to have been carried out on the distance travelled by the uranium aerosols. The military maintain that the uranium remains near the point of impact, and the Royal Society report also states that the material does not travel more than some tens of metres. On the other hand, measurements of uranium in local populations in Kosovo some nine months after the use of uranium weapons tested positive for depleted uranium in urine and the United Nations (UNEP) found uranium particles in air filters in Bosnia and Kosovo some years after its use. The author visited both Kosovo in 2001 (with Nippon TV) and South Iraq in 2000 (with Al Jazeera), and measured DU residues in the environment using scintillation counting for beta and alpha radiation. Samples were taken in Kosovo and analysed in Wales to show the presence of DU particles precipitated from snow and present in puddles far from the impact points. Later, information on Uranium in air samplers deployed by the Atomic Weapons Establishment showed the presence of Uranium from the 2nd Gulf War in 2003 [2] in a study similar to the present one. The question of the dispersion of uranium aerosols from battlefields is of significant legal interest, since if a radioactive weapon resulted in the general contamination of the public in the country of deployment or elsewhere, the weapon would be classifiable as one of indiscriminate effect.

‘Jimmy Saville, by the people he abused and worked with’ documentary – police not interested.  MI5 and blackmail. Close confidante of King Charles, Jimmy Savile abused hundreds of people, many of them children. Exclusive testimony from some of the women who survived Savile’s abuse, and the people who knew the awful truth, speak out about one of the biggest names in British showbusiness.” Jimmy Savile abused hundreds of people, many of them children. Exclusive testimony from some of the women who survived Savile’s abuse, and the people who knew the awful truth, speak out about one of the biggest names in British showbusiness. A decade after Savile’s death, a new documentary shares brave, horrific testimony from victims about the ‘huge multi-institutional cover-up’ which continues to this day Unusually for someone who presented TV and radio programmes for six decades, Jimmy Savile is most significantly represented in the archives by shows he didn’t host. In When Louis Met Jimmy (BBC Two, 2000), Louis Theroux raised questions about longstanding rumours of paedophilia, which were rebuffed but later certified by Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile (ITV, 2012). Screened after the broadcaster’s death, that film triggered institutional investigations concluding he had sexually abused at least 450 people, 80% of whom were young people and children. The 10th anniversary of Savile’s death in October will greatly add to the TV credits the presenter wouldn’t want to have. Discovery’s Jimmy Savile: The People Who Knew is the first; a Netflix two-parter is due later this year and a BBC docudrama, The Reckoning, is also in production. (Disclosure: I witnessed, and reported to the BBC, an assault by Savile on a BBC staff member in 2006, as recorded in the Dame Janet Smith report of 2016. I was interviewed for the Netflix films.)

Covid vaccine injuries.  PMQs payout for Covid vaccine injuries.  Dr. John Campbell introduces Andrew Bridgen’s speech in Parliament on Covid vaccine injury – hundreds have contacted him – Gov. figures on Covid vaccine injury vs Covid injury. Covid Jab Boosters in the Commons MPs Andrew Bridgen & Christopher Chope introduced by the splendid Dr John Campbell 17Mar23 Andrew Bridgen empties Parliament with anti-vax tirade No-one fancied sticking around to hear Andrew Bridgen’s latest take on the COVID-19 vaccines, which emptied Parliament in a flash. Almost every elected MP in Westminster decided to give Andrew Bridgen’s latest crusade against the COVID-19 vaccines a miss this week, after he ramped-up the rhetoric once more during a debate in the House of Commons. Parliament ‘almost empty’ for Andrew Bridgen’s latest rant Bridgen had the whip removed by his seniors in the Conservative Party earlier this year, when he compared the coronavirus vaccine campaign to the Holocaust. The abhorrent comments caused an almighty outrage, but he still remains in his position as an MP. His social media output is now almost exclusively anti-vax content. He has rallied against the reported side effects of the jabs, while failing to acknowledge the scientific evidence of their life-saving capacities. Bridgen is staking his entire reputation, and political future, on this path. Anti-vax MP not backing down on controversial stance However, if his latest performance in Parliament is anything to go by, he might need to start thinking about a ‘Plan B’. Speaking at an adjournment debate on Friday, Mr. Bridgen started his address with an already-sparse audience, before the numbers dwindled further.

CIA takeover of journalism in West – book by Udo Ulfkotte ‘Presstitutes’.  Press being bought out.  Killing of political figures by the State.  Presstitutes Embedded in the Pay of the CIA: A Confession from the Profession by Udo Ulfkotte (2019).  So, who was Udo Ulfkotte? Was he a highly-respected, mainstream journalist or just some unhinged conspiracy theorist? Presstitutes is the closest we will ever get to an Udo Ulfkotte autobiography. It is both an apology for his own personal conduct and a warning to a new generation of journalists. With his own career as the example, he details how easily young journalists are lifted up and swept along by the mainstream, unable to resist the reward system that shapes the Western media. From his first nudge as a university student toward working with the BND, German Intelligence, Ulfkotte’s career provides many a look behind the scenes at what is packaged and sold in the media. After graduation, without any journalism background, but having been vetted by the BND, young Ulfkotte miraculously landed a job as an assistant foreign policy editor at Germany’s most prestigious newspaper, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). He stayed with them for 17 years, travelling to 60 countries and spending more time in the Middle East than in Germany. In 1988 he nearly died from an Iraqi nerve gas attack on Iranian troops, and discovered the gas had come from Germany. His reports and photos were buried. Gradually he became disillusioned with the dishonesty. His first critical book title, Classified Information: Federal Intelligence Service (BND), was published in 1997 and was promoted by the FAZ. He also began lecturing on “security management” in the University of Lüneburg’s business school. But the FAZ was not happy when he published How Journalists Lie in 2002. He suffered another serious physical injury in 2003. The last straw was when a political party offered him a fat bribe to use his press credentials to spy on a rival politician’s private life. After a heart attack, Ulfkotte decided he must expose as much political corruption as he could before he died… Dr. Udo Ulfkotte survived a poison gas attack in Iraq, a bout with cancer, and head injuries from being pushed down the stairs of his home by a spy for the ISI, the Pakistani CIA. He died of his fourth heart attack on January 13th 2017, just before his 57th birthday. Did he die a natural death? We may never know.

UK sending radioactive Depleted Uranium equipped tanks to Ukraine – Scott Ritter, on Judge Neopolitano show, depleted uranium in Ukraine. Ukraine war: UK defends sending depleted uranium shells after Putin warning The UK is sending 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Kyiv to aid Ukrainians in the fight against Russia President Vladimir Putin has said Russia would be “forced to react” if the UK sent shells made with depleted uranium to Ukraine. He accused the West of deploying weapons with a “nuclear component”. The UK Ministry of Defence confirmed it would provide Kyiv the armour-piercing rounds alongside Challenger 2 tanks but insisted they had a low radiation risk. Depleted uranium “is a standard component and has nothing to do with nuclear weapons”, the MoD said. “The British Army has used depleted uranium in its armour piercing shells for decades,” the statement added. “Russia knows this, but is deliberately trying to disinform. Independent research by scientists from groups such as the Royal Society has assessed that any impact to personal health and the environment from the use of depleted uranium munitions is likely to be low.” Former British Army tank commander – and chemical weapons expert – Col Hamish de Breton-Gordon, said Mr Putin’s comments were “classic disinformation”. He said depleted uranium rounds used by Challenger 2 tanks contained only trace elements of depleted uranium. He added it was “laughable” to suggest depleted uranium rounds were in any way linked to nuclear weapons, which uses enriched uranium. Depleted uranium is what is left over after natural uranium has been enriched, either for weapons-making or for reactor fuel. It is mildly radioactive in its solid form. But it is a very heavy substance, 1.7 times denser than lead, and it is used to harden rounds so that they can penetrate armour and steel. When a weapon made with a depleted uranium tip or core strikes a solid object, like the side of a tank, it goes straight through it and then erupts in a burning cloud of vapour. The vapour settles as dust, which is poisonous and also weakly radioactive. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said sending depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine would mean the UK was “ready to violate international humanitarian law as in 1999 in Yugoslavia”. “There is no doubt this will end badly for London,” Mr Lavrov added.

Depleted uranium in Iraq – book by Joanne Baker. Toxic legacy of US assault on Fallujah ‘worse than Hiroshima’ The shocking rates of infant mortality and cancer in Iraqi city raise new questions about battle Dramatic increases in infant mortality, cancer and leukaemia in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, which was bombarded by US Marines in 2004, exceed those reported by survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, according to a new study. Iraqi doctors in Fallujah have complained since 2005 of being overwhelmed by the number of babies with serious birth defects, ranging from a girl born with two heads to paralysis of the lower limbs. They said they were also seeing far more cancers than they did before the battle for Fallujah between US troops and insurgents. Their claims have been supported by a survey showing a four-fold increase in all cancers and a 12-fold increase in childhood cancer in under-14s. Infant mortality in the city is more than four times higher than in neighbouring Jordan and eight times higher than in Kuwait. Dr Chris Busby, a visiting professor at the University of Ulster and one of the authors of the survey of 4,800 individuals in Fallujah, said it is difficult to pin down the exact cause of the cancers and birth defects. He added that “to produce an effect like this, some very major mutagenic exposure must have occurred in 2004 when the attacks happened”. US Marines first besieged and bombarded Fallujah, 30 miles west of Baghdad, in April 2004 after four employees of the American security company Blackwater were killed and their bodies burned. After an eight-month stand-off, the Marines stormed the city in November using artillery and aerial bombing against rebel positions. US forces later admitted that they had employed white phosphorus as well as other munitions. In the assault US commanders largely treated Fallujah as a free-fire zone to try to reduce casualties among their own troops. British officers were appalled by the lack of concern for civilian casualties. “During preparatory operations in the November 2004 Fallujah clearance operation, on one night over 40 155mm artillery rounds were fired into a small sector of the city,” recalled Brigadier Nigel Aylwin-Foster, a British commander serving with the American forces in Baghdad. He added that the US commander who ordered this devastating use of firepower did not consider it significant enough to mention it in his daily report to the US general in command. Dr Busby says that while he cannot identify the type of armaments used by the Marines, the extent of genetic damage suffered by inhabitants suggests the use of uranium in some form. He said: “My guess is that they used a new weapon against buildings to break through walls and kill those inside.” The survey was carried out by a team of 11 researchers in January and February this year who visited 711 houses in Fallujah. A questionnaire was filled in by householders giving details of cancers, birth outcomes and infant mortality. Hitherto the Iraqi government has been loath to respond to complaints from civilians about damage to their health during military operations. Researchers were initially regarded with some suspicion by locals, particularly after a Baghdad television station broadcast a report saying a survey was being carried out by terrorists and anybody conducting it or answering questions would be arrested. Those organising the survey subsequently arranged to be accompanied by a person of standing in the community to allay suspicions. The study, entitled “Cancer, Infant Mortality and Birth Sex-Ratio in Fallujah, Iraq 2005-2009”, is by Dr Busby, Malak Hamdan and Entesar Ariabi, and concludes that anecdotal evidence of a sharp rise in cancer and congenital birth defects is correct. Infant mortality was found to be 80 per 1,000 births compared to 19 in Egypt, 17 in Jordan and 9.7 in Kuwait. The report says that the types of cancer are “similar to that in the Hiroshima survivors who were exposed to ionising radiation from the bomb and uranium in the fallout”. Researchers found a 38-fold increase in leukaemia, a ten-fold increase in female breast cancer and significant increases in lymphoma and brain tumours in adults. At Hiroshima survivors showed a 17-fold increase in leukaemia, but in Fallujah Dr Busby says what is striking is not only the greater prevalence of cancer but the speed with which it was affecting people. Of particular significance was the finding that the sex ratio between newborn boys and girls had changed. In a normal population this is 1,050 boys born to 1,000 girls, but for those born from 2005 there was an 18 per cent drop in male births, so the ratio was 850 males to 1,000 females. The sex-ratio is an indicator of genetic damage that affects boys more than girls. A similar change in the sex-ratio was discovered after Hiroshima….

‘BIGGEST ISRAELI PROTESTS IN HISTORY’: Netanyahu’s ‘dictatorship’ law and growing Israel protests now in their 11th week. Thousands of Israelis block streets in anti-government ‘Day of Shutdown’ Protests have escalated since Netanyahu introduced new legislation that would limit the authority of the Supreme Court earlier this year. Israelis have taken to the streets en masse in protest against the government’s proposed changes to the judicial system, blocking roadways across the country and intensifying a months-long campaign decrying the move. Thousands of people carrying flags and signs marched on a Tel Aviv thoroughfare on Thursday, stopping traffic in the middle of the workday. A small group burned tyres on the street outside a seaport, briefly blocking trucks. Police forced demonstrators from the road in front of a conference centre in central Israel. The protests have escalated since the start of the year when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s hard-right government introduced new legislation that would limit the authority of the Supreme Court. Military reservists have joined the protests and senior officials in the finance ministry warned this week of an economic backlash. In Jerusalem, crowds gathered along the walls of the Old City from which they hung a huge replica of the country’s declaration of independence. “What we are doing here is we are fighting for our lives. We are fighting for our lives as a Jewish people together in the state that we have been building for 75 years,” said Avidan Friedman, who was wearing a prayer shawl over his head. “We are fighting because we feel like what’s going on now is tearing us apart and we are calling on the government to stop.” Netanyahu in the meantime pushed ahead with the legislation, which includes bills to give the government decisive sway in electing judges and to limit the court’s power to strike down laws. Netanyahu – on trial for corruption charges he denies – says the judicial modifications are needed to restore the balance between the branches of government. Critics say it will weaken Israel’s democracy and hand uncontrolled powers to the government of the day.

Israel’s former spy chief warns that country could turn into a ‘dictatorship’ Nadav Argaman, former head of the Shin Bet, hits out at the Netanyahu government, saying ‘the anarchist has become the ruler’ Israel’s former spymaster has likened the government’s overhaul of the judicial system to “a car hurtling towards the abyss” in an interview with a local TV channel. Nadav Argaman, former director of the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, hit out at the reforms on Thursday evening. Argaman warned that the checks and balances holding the Israeli government accountable in parliament had broken down, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was hijacking the process. “This is a world turned upside down, a crazy world. The anarchist has become the ruler,” said Argaman. “Only one person can stop this madness. That’s the prime minister,” the former spy chief said. “He is the one who pushed for this whole move, which was meticulously planned in advance, and he’s the one who can stop it. Everything is entirely in his hands.” Israel is currently experiencing a political crisis that has pitted Netanyahu’s far-right government against the country’s civil society, academic and business elite, as well as former government ministers and military figures. The prime minister is currently on trial for corruption, and the reforms could enable him to evade conviction or see his case dismissed. Since being indicted in 2019, Netanyahu has railed publicly against the justice system, saying it is biased against him. Argaman warned that Israel could be on the brink of a constitutional crisis and insisted that Ronen Bar, the current head of the Shin Bet, “must listen only and exclusively to the law”. “The head of the Shin Bet is subordinate to the prime minister, but above all, he is subordinate to the law,” he said. ‘Regime change’ – Sounding the alarm in unusually strong words for someone who has been part of the political establishment for decades, Argaman warned that the reforms were part of “a regime change” aimed at “legally turning Israel into a dictatorship”.

Christians will face jail in Israel for proselytising under proposed bill- Christians could face one year prison sentence for encouraging conversion to their faith, according to a new controversial legislation being introduced in Israel. The legislation which is being proposed by ultra-Orthodox members of Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition would also proscribe Christians from engaging in religious discussion with Jews. Titled Proposed Penal Law: Amendment – Prohibition of Solicitation for Religious Conversion – 2023, the legislation is introduced by United Torah Judaism’s Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Asher. The law would apply to anyone who would attempt to persuade someone to change their religious beliefs, however the legislation specifically mentions the Christian faith, saying that “recently, the attempts of missionary groups, mainly Christians, to solicit conversion of religion have increased.” “Solicitation”, according to the text of the legislation, refers to anyone “who solicits a person, directly, digitally, by mail, or online in order to convert his religion” and the punishment for such solicitation is “one year imprisonment; and if the person was a minor, the punishment – two years imprisonment.” According to All Israel News, the bill “appears to be making it illegal for followers of Jesus (“Yeshua” in Hebrew) to explain why they believe that Jesus is both Messiah and God with the hope that Israelis might consider following Him.” The Jerusalem based news agency explained that under the new legislation “producing and publishing online videos explaining the Gospel to Jewish or Muslim people in Israel – and to those of any other religious faiths – would suddenly become illegal.” Publishing books, other printed literature, online articles, podcasts, or other forms of media that explain the life and ministry of Jesus and His message found in the New Testament would also become illegal.

Netanyahu in UK and meets Rishi Sunak.  Israel turmoil dogs Netanyahu’s UK trip A Downing Street readout of Friday morning’s meeting hints at some mild criticism from Rishi Sunak of Mr Netanyahu’s proposed legal reforms. “The prime minister stressed the importance of upholding the democratic values that underpin our relationship,” a spokesperson said, “including in the proposed judicial reforms in Israel.” The fact that cameras were not allowed into Number 10, and the absence of customary statements or a news conference, hinted at an air of embarrassment surrounding Mr Netanyahu’s visit. But outside, in Whitehall, Mr Netanyahu’s British critics were rather more direct. “For the first time in a really long time, British Jews are really taking a stand,” Sharon Shochat, one of the organisers of today’s protest, told the BBC. “We don’t want anything to do with what we’re seeing in Israel. The racism, the extremism, the deterioration from democracy and liberal values.” Neither Ms Shochat nor the tens of thousands of Israelis demonstrating on the streets of Israel for the past two months can necessarily claim to represent a majority opinion, but this is a moment of doubt and anxiety for the Jewish state’s supporters abroad, as they watch Israelis coming to blows. Britain’s Chief Rabbi, Sir Ephraim Mirvis, was sufficiently alarmed to issue a plea for Jewish unity, while urging Israel to “hold fast to the principles upon which it was founded”. Of more concern, for Israel, are signs that the US administration is losing patience with its traditional ally. Last week the Biden administration took the highly unusual step of calling the Israeli ambassador to the state department to explain why his government was planning to undo part of a 2005 law on settlements withdrawal, which could see Jewish settlers returning to highly contentious sites in the occupied West Bank.

TWO MAIN POLITICAL PARTIES AS THE ‘A’ TEAM AND THE ‘B’ TEAM OF A ONE-PARTY STATE: John Stockwell, author of ‘In Search of Enemies’, on …..    Relevance of 9/11 today. Former CIA case officer John R. Stockwell looks at the 1988 presidential elections. He analyzes the amazing loss by the Democrats of a seemingly certain victory. He also assesses what a Bush administration can be, particularly when so many people inside and outside the government, at home and abroad, have knowledge of so much damaging information about Bush’s past. Stockwell views the elections from the power elite and ruling class perspective in which we operate under a single party system which is split in two, with both parties being controlled by powerful ruling class institutions and individuals. He places Dukakis’ performance within this framework.  Recorded December 10, 1988

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

Elle Williams, from Creative Youth Network, joins Tony and Martin.  Youth services in Bristol having a 45% funding cut.  Being part of a Union.  Elle going to Asher Craig at Bristol Council to appeal funding cuts.  Outcry as Bristol City Council “dismantles” youth services and slashes vital 1-2-1 support – Fears for the most vulnerable young people in north, east and central Bristol as funding redirected to South Bristol Youth Zone Youth services are being “dismantled” and vital 1-2-1 support scrapped for Bristol’s most vulnerable young people, causing “irreversible damage”, a council meeting heard. North, east and central Bristol will suffer most as funds are redirected to the south of the city, youth workers fear. The city council is cutting money and changing the way it funds youth work, from long-term contracts to a grants system, but denies 1-2-1 sessions are being scrapped altogether and insists it remains committed to giving kids the best start in life, while the forthcoming South Bristol Youth Zone will generate more money for the sector. Unison area organiser Steve Mills told Bristol City Council cabinet that the decision would have a serious impact on current main provider Creative Youth Network (CYN), its services, staff who will face redundancy and young people who need the support. He said: “The prospect of the current 1-2-1 provision being cut or disappearing completely in a time where young people need this youth service more than ever is irresponsible and could cause irreversible damage. We have some very experienced and motivated staff who could be lost forever to the service. “It’s good we are going to have a youth hub in South Bristol but services in east, north and central Bristol will be in decline. This is not the time to be cutting youth services.” CYN chief executive Mark Coates told the meeting on Tuesday, March 7, that the city and his organisation had an “outstanding” youth service as officially recognised by the National Youth Agency. “But as a result of tonight’s decisions, that service will be dismantled and replaced by something very different and much smaller scale,” he said. “The new grants will not fund any 1-2-1 support for young people. Funding is of course ridiculously tight, and we fully accept 1-2-1 support has to reduce. “But to discontinue it entirely feels profoundly wrong. Those who need it are the most vulnerable young people in this city, and their service is about to be discontinued. “From our 1-2-1 caseload is a significant number of often very complex safeguarding cases for which CYN is very often the lead agency. There is a real risk of inadequate safeguarding if you do not have adequately focused support for the most vulnerable young people.”

Community services dealing with knife crime to be cut in Bristol, and replaced by CCTV – Green Councillor Mohammed Makawi complains. BRISTOL MAYOR MARVIN REES AND RULING LABOUR GROUP DISMISS NIGHTCLUB GANGS’ LINK TO KNIFE CRIME AND PREVENTATIVE MEASURES, PLEDGE MORE CCTV ELSEWHERE INSTEAD Labour successfully altered the Greens’ original proposals A raft of measures to tackle knife crime has been agreed overwhelmingly by Bristol city councillors. More than £650,000 will be spent installing and improving CCTV on local authority land over the next two years, a serious violence strategy covering the city and wider region will be developed and “blind spots” for attacks will be designed out of future planning developments. The motion was tabled at a meeting of full council on Tuesday (March 14), by Cllr Mohamed Makawi (Green, Cotham) whose friend Adam Ali Ibrahim was fatally stabbed in Castle Park on January 31. Labour made several changes to the proposals which the Greens initially opposed before the chamber voted in favour, with just one Green member against. Speaking afterwards, Cllr Makawi said: “I am delighted my motion passed tonight – the council has sent a clear message that Bristol can, and will, do more to tackle knife crime and, most importantly, its causes. By taking simple steps like providing emergency bleed kits and training to night-time venues, fixing ‘blind spots’ and providing more lighting and CCTV in hotspots, we can save lives. “I really hope we can find more money to support Bristol’s fantastic grassroots and community organisations, who are at the forefront of this in persuading young people to put down blades. Of course, the iron test of this motion will be that it is followed by real action, which I hope it will, given the support from all parties at tonight’s meeting – it is too important to ignore.” He said he was disappointed by Labour’s amendment. “Greens felt it removed some important parts of the motion, like references to the council’s drugs strategy, addressing the stigma of neurodiversity and crucially a commitment to improve lighting in known dark areas,” Cllr Makawi said. “But the amended motion still sends a strong message and commits the council to take action and so despite those changes we were happy to support it.” Labour councillors said their alterations “strengthened” the motion and removed a requirement to “identify licenced premises which fuel anti-social behaviours at the root of knife carrying and review the licence compliance”. They said this implied a link between the night-time economy and knife crime, which was an “unproven and harmful assumption”, and replaced it with a commitment to work with the Bristol Nights Board on preventative measures rather than penalising pubs, bars and clubs. The group backed parts of the original proposals, including increasing the coverage of bleed kits at venues.

Heidi Gedge joins Tony and Martin, the mother of 27 yr old Mariella Gedge-Rogers who has been imprisoned for 5 years six months for ‘rioting’ in the Kill the Bill protest in Bristol.  Heidi says her daughter is innocent and was targetted by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) changing her charge to ‘rior’ to ‘make an example of her’, and others have got suspended sentences for similar offences.  Mum of woman jailed for Bristol riot describes her sentence as ‘inhumane’ The mother of a woman who was jailed after being caught on camera attacking police and smashing the window of Bridewell Police Station during a Kill The Bill protest has criticised her jail sentence, describing it as “inhumane”. Mariella Gedge-Rogers, 27, of Queens Court, Clifton, was convicted last month following a unanimous decision by a jury following a trial at Bristol Crown Court. Gedge-Rogers was found guilty of being part of a group that used or threatened violence and, together, caused others to fear for their personal safety. She was arrested six days after the riot took place outside the city centre police station on March 21 last year after her image was released as part of a police appeal. During her trial, digital evidence including footage from officers’ body-worn cameras, CCTV and mobile phone footage was played to the jury. Gedge-Rogers could be seen to hit a police officer on the head with a skateboard in the footage and throw missiles at other officers from the roof of the police station. She was also seen to repeatedly strike the front window of the station with her skateboard before handing it to a man for him to do the same and, following a trial, was jailed for five-and-a-half years. However, her mum Heidi Gedge has now defended her daughter. The 61-year-old said her daughter is considering appealing the sentence and that they are seeking legal advice. The NHS worker said: “She is not a regular protester, she went along because a couple of her friends were going on. “She is not part of any anti-fascist or anti-police groups. She went along to exercise her right to protest – a lot of people do not want the police to have more powers.

Protest on the 2 year anniversary of the ‘Kill the Bill’ protest to take place on 21st March 5.30pm beginning at The Bearpit, Bristol. Protest outside police station will mark two years since ‘kill the bill’ riot Protesters are planning to march to Bridewell police station on the second anniversary of the ‘kill the bill’ riot. Organisers of the demonstration say that they are protesting “against the violence of the police and the British state”. The event “will hear from those affected and those involved in organising resistance”. It comes two years after a peaceful protest against the government’s police, crime, sentencing & courts bill turned into an evening of violence. Initial police claims of serious injuries to officers were later retracted. In a statement, protest organisers said: “34 people, mostly young, have been imprisoned for over a total of 100 years for the uprising that took place on this day 2 years ago. “An uprising that was self defence against the brutality of the police towards demonstrators and in response to the rape and murder of Sarah Everard and the PCSC Bill. “In those two years we have seen the police continue to brutalise and murder young black men, refugees have been left to die in the channel, we have seen suicides and murders at the hands of the prisons, the inherent and vile misogyny and racism of the police has been openly exposed and we have seen increasingly repressive legislation against protest and the organisation of working people. “The police and prison system continues to attack and disappear the already most marginalised and oppressed areas of society. “At the same time the state protects and furthers a system of systematic poverty. “It protects the wealthiest and most powerful who live as they please off of our backs whilst one step out of line puts us in prison. “The state punishes those who are the victims of its policies. “We want to come together on this day to show whose side we are on, to show our solidarity with the Kill The Bill prisoners and their families and all people brutalised by the British state and its institutions of repression. The ‘stand against police and state violence’ protest is due to start in the Bearpit on March 21 at 5.30pm, from where a march will take place to Bridewell police station.

Police retract claims that officers suffered broken bones at Bristol protest – Avon and Somerset force said in press release officers had broken bones and one had a punctured lung Avon and Somerset police have retracted widely reported claims that officers suffered broken bones and a punctured lung during attempts to disperse a protest on Sunday night. There was widespread outrage when the force made the claims in a press release on Monday that “a total of 20 officers were assaulted or injured and two of them were taken to hospital after suffering broken bones. One of them also suffered a punctured lung.” But in an updated press release on Wednesday, the force clarified this was not true, saying: “Thankfully, following a full medical assessment of the two officers taken to hospital, neither were found to have suffered confirmed broken bones.” Around the same time, a BBC reporter said on Twitter that Andy Marsh, the head of the force, had admitted in a press conference that no officer had a punctured lung. However, the force has since updated the number of injuries suffered by police officers to 40. The Guardian has contacted Avon and Somerset police for clarification on why these claims were made and to request a list of the injuries sustained by officers policing Sunday night’s protest. The force had not replied by the time of publication. Kevin Blowe, the coordinator of Netpol, which campaigns around the policing of protest, said exaggerated claims of injuries by police were not without precedent. “It’s par for the course,” Blowe said. “People have flagged up the whole business of the injuries at Kingsnorth that were used to crack down on the protest there, which turned out to be insect bites [and] exhaustion.”

BRISTOL’S NEW ‘INVITE ONLY DEMOCRACY’: ‘Bristol One City Gathering’ is switched to ‘invite only’, reservations are cancelled and the meeting is switched to ‘invite only’ the night before the biennial meeting of the city’s mayor’s hand picked, councillors excluded themed policy-making boards met last Friday

YOU’RE NOT EXCLUDED, YOU’RE JUST NOT INVITED’, BRISTOL LABOUR MAYOR MARVIN REES SEES ALL COUNCIL MEETING AS HIS ‘BIRTHDAY PARTIES’ Richard Eddy, Conservative Councillor and chair of Development Control Committee A, which is due to decide on the Bristol Zoo Luxury Flats and two other controversial planning applications, on Mayor Marvin’s new ‘not banned, just not invited’ policy. Marvin Rees denies Bristol City Council ‘intimidates, gaslights and bullies’ SEND children’s parents Marvin Rees has denied that Bristol City Council “intimidates, gaslights and bullies” parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The mayor, responding to ferocious criticism from opposition Green Cllr Christine Townsend at the annual budget-setting full council meeting, said the local authority did not have “some great evil subterfuge plot” against families. Cllr Townsend claimed the Labour administration’s “ongoing contempt” of parents was “beyond measure”. It follows a series of crises in SEND provision in Bristol, including last year’s social media spying scandal, massive delays to education, health and care plans (EHCPs) and an order from the Government last month for the organisation to heal its “fractured relationship” with mums, dads and carers. The row prompted the intervention of lord mayor Green Cllr Paula O’Rourke, who chairs full council meetings, to keep the debate civil. Councillors were debating Lib Dem Cllr Tim Kent’s budget amendment to slash £184,000 from legal defences of SEND tribunals and redirect the cash into employing more caseworkers to resolve disputes earlier and speed up assessments for youngsters. The chamber voted overwhelmingly in favour, including both Labour and Greens. Cllr Townsend said: “Ofsted has told this administration that it needs to mend its fractious relationships with parents of children with SEN. Everyone in this chamber including those on the Labour benches know they’ve failed to do this. “This area of legal spend is the only one the administration wishes to raise – other areas of legal spend are having their budgets cut. The level of ongoing contempt this administration holds families with SEND is beyond measure. “It would rather focus more officer time and more officer resource preparing for and going to court than securing the needed services for the city’s most vulnerable children When local authorities drag their residents through a court process they lose. Councillor at meeting Cllr Christine Townsend at the full council meeting (Image: Bristol City Council/YouTube) “Two out of three times this administration loses when it goes to court, yet it still wants to intimidate, it still wants to gaslight and it still wants to bully individual families and parents in a legal process.” She said the Lib Dem councillor’s amendment was dealing with just £200,000 out of the £450million 2023/24 schools budget, including £86.5million for high needs.

AL JAZEERA PROVE BBC PANORAMA LIED ABOUT ANTISEMITISM CLAIMS TO SMEAR CORBYN ‘The Forde Response’ documentary on Al Jazeera, about Martin Ford’s investigation in to anti-Semitism in the Labour Party, finding the label had been used politically, and that a Panorama documentary had lied.  BBC slammed by top lawyer for ‘entirely misleading’ Labour coverage Martin Forde, the lawyer appointed by Sir Keir Starmer to investigate allegations of anti-semitism in the Labour Party, accused the BBC of taking an internal email sent within the Labour party out of context. The BBC has been slammed by Martin Forde KC for its coverage of the Labour party, with the top lawyer describing some of its coverage as being “entirely misleading”. Mr Forde, the lawyer appointed by Sir Keir Starmer to investigate allegations of anti-semitism in the Labour Party, accused the BBC of taking an internal email sent within the Labour party out of context. He said the email – used in a BBC Panorama documentary – had been “filleted”, meaning the “context was lost and a more sinister interpretation could be placed upon that email than was ever intended”. While the lawyer admitted that he “could not go so far as to say it was deliberate”, he told Al Jazeera it seemed to be “objectively entirely misleading”. BBC Panorama was criticised by Mr Forde for its “Is Labour Anti-Semitic?” documentary in his report on the Labour party. He claimed he was under pressure from journalists within the BBC to amend his criticism of the panorama documentary. But speaking about his own report into the Labour party, Mr Forde said: “I felt I had a fuller picture [than the BBC] because I interviewed not only some of the participants in the programme but I also interviewed some people who didn’t participate in the programme.” Gary Lineker and his Match of the Day co-hosts should be sacked and replaced with women “at half the price”, a former BBC governor has said. The suggestion from Lord Young of Norwood Green sparked an outcry from his own Labour benches in the House of Lords today. He said that, having been a barrister for 38 years, he thinks he “would have a degree of forensic skill and an ability to try and assess credibility and consistency, because that’s what lawyers look for.” Mr Forde’s interview with Al Jazeera also saw him criticise Sir Keir Starmer for an “insufficient” response to antisemitism. This comes despite the Labour leader having last month heralded the end of anti-semitism within the party. Mr Forde said he has had almost no communication with anyone from within the Labour party to tackle to issues highlighted by the report in the wake of its publication….

Jeremy Hunt Budget speech.  I Newspaper summary of the Budget.  How to deal with a coming housing and banking crisis.  Budget 2023 summary: Danger points for Jeremy Hunt as Budget details unravel Explained – As the small print of Jeremy Hunt’s first Budget is analysed, cracks are starting to appear in his offerings Some of the changes announced have raised eyebrows, including the move to scrap the lifetime allowance on pensions, giving thousands of high-earners a tax cut. There is also likely to be significant backbench discontent over so-called “stealth taxes” in his Budget, as well as the expected rise in migration. The Chancellor is facing criticism over his surprise decision to remove the lifetime allowance on pensions – the amount that can be saved in a pension scheme before being taxed. Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves told Sky News on Thursday that it was “the wrong priority, at the wrong time, for the wrong people” and described the move as “a £1bn pensions bung for the 1 per cent”. She said Labour would reverse the “gilded giveaway” and urged the Chancellor and the Government to “think again” about scrapping the cap. Concerns have also been raised over the fact that the policy, which will cost £1.1bn a year by 2028, is only expected to help around 15,000 high earners. In his initial response to the Budget, Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) director Paul Johnson said the changes to pensions were “unlikely to have a big effect on overall employment”. “Overall these look like a sensible set of changes which could have the sort of marginal, but positive, impact which is perhaps as much as we can expect from measures in a single Budget,” he said. There has been significant discontent in the Conservative party over so-called “stealth taxes” in the Budget, which reportedly could raise the Treasury up to £29.3bn a year. The increase in the income tax bill is equivalent to raising the basic rate by 4p, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR). By 2028, the Government’s tax take will amount to 37.7 per cent of GDP – almost 5 percentage points higher than its pre-pandemic level. Freezes to tax thresholds, brought in by Rishi Sunak as chancellor and continued by Mr Hunt, mean an extra 3.2 million people will pay income tax who would be exempt if the thresholds rose in line with inflation. And 2.1 million people will also be dragged into the 40p higher rate while another 350,000 will pay the top 45p rate.

US spy working for GCHQ in Cheltenham stabbed.  NSA and GCHQ. Man stabbed woman at leisure centre because he thought she was GCHQ agent, court hears – Joshua Bowles, 29, was allegedly armed with two knives during the incident. He is also charged with assaulting a man who tried to intervene – Joshua Bowles, 29, has been charged with attempted murder and assault – A knifeman tried to murder a woman who he thought worked at GCHQ because she represented “the state”, a court has heard. Joshua Bowles, 29, has been charged with attempted murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Bowles allegedly launched the attack on the woman as she left a leisure centre in Cheltenham, three miles from the UK intelligence agency’s base. He is said to have researched the woman before targeting her while armed with two knives as she left the building with a friend at 9.15pm last Thursday. Bowles allegedly punched and stabbed the woman in the car park before continuing the attack inside the building as she tried to escape. The alleged victim, referred to in charges only by the code number “99230” and not named in court, remains in hospital in a stable condition after suffering a number of stab wounds.  American spy on secondment to GCHQ was stabbed by alleged terrorist just three miles from its Cheltenham headquarters – American spy working at GCHQ stabbed near the Cheltenham headquarters Mystery as police quiz suspected terrorist over knife attack An American spy on secondment to GCHQ was stabbed by an alleged terrorist just three miles from its headquarters, it can now be revealed. Police believe a woman working for US intelligence was targeted by a knifeman in an alleged terrorist attack outside a leisure centre in Cheltenham. The victim is said to have been sitting in a car when the knifeman lashed out stabbing her in the leisure centre car park, before she managed to stagger out of the vehicle for help. Seriously wounded, she managed to raise staff at the sports centre which was due shortly to close to the public at the time of the attack on Thursday at 9.15pm. Yesterday the victim remained in a stable condition in hospital following surgery. The identity of the woman has not been revealed, but the Mail has learnt that she is an American spy on secondment to the Government Communications Headquarters, which is based just three miles away. The nature of her work has not been revealed, but GCHQ has a strong relationship with its US equivalent, the National Security Agency. Initially, the apparently targeted stabbing was treated as attempted murder, but the suspect was re-arrested on suspicion of preparing and instigating a terrorist act just 24 hours later. Yesterday local residents suggested the victim may have known the suspect and claimed the pair were seen arguing in the car beforehand. ‘They were either parked or had pulled into the car park when she was stabbed and then she managed to get out of the car and get to the leisure centre,’ one neighbour said.

Gary Lineker’s well covered comments on those that want to stop illegal immigration by organised crime gangs across The Channel being like the Nazis which dominated the news this week.  BBC licence fee.  It’s not about you, Gary, it’s about our country and its place in the world – MICHAEL COLEIts reputation for resisting pressure of all kinds has now been undermined by Director General Tim Davie’s appalling decision to apologise to Gary Lineker instead of telling him to sit out his contract which would not be renewed. With other broadcasters eager for his services, and now wearing the trappings of a martyr for free speech, Mr. Linker would have continued to smile smugly as he did throughout the crisis caused by his comparison of the government’s the plans to tackle illegal immigration to the language of Nazi Germany in the 1930s, a grotesque exaggeration revealing ignorance of history and a deplorable lack of judgement.

JEREMY CORBYN BACKED GARY LINEKER OVER NAZI TWEET BUT DIDN’T REALISE LINEKER URGED LABOUR TO ‘BIN CORBYN’! ….But this isn’t about that outrageous comment or Linker’s multi-millionaire pundit pals who believe their virtue-signalling is more important than the future of the broadcaster that has served this country and their families for generations. And it’s not about Free Speech. It’s about responsibility. That starts by conducting yourself in an appropriate way when you are the best-paid employee of the BBC, getting £1.35 million of licence payers’ money a year, making you one of its most famous faces. It doesn’t matter that Gary Lineker is a freelance and that his Twitter rant was on his own account. Richard Dimbleby was a freelance. He was the face of the BBC in the 1950s and until his death aged 52 in 1965. He lived out his career on 13-week BBC contracts. The difference is that Dimbleby knew how to behave. He didn’t need “Impartiality Guidelines” to tell him not to make incendiary public comments that would inevitably rebound on the BBC and undermine the bedrock of its foundation, its impartiality. When Dimbleby inadvertently blasphemed, not realising his mic was “open”, saying “Jesus wept!” after repeated technical failures, the uproar continued until he dropped a penny in the swear box at the start of his next programme.

PMQs Migration not helping British economy. Question to the Prime Minister on immigration and skills – 15 March 2023 Wednesday, 15 March, 2023 Today I asked a question to the Prime Minister on immigration and skills. Danny Kruger MP calls on Government agencies to take action for community neglected for three decades – 16 March, 2023 Thursday, 16 March, 2023 Danny Kruger MP has made a public call for local authorities and Government agencies to take action to protect a community which has fallen through the cracks for more than three decades.

PMQs hospital buildings.  NHS workers getting a pay deal this week.  PMQs hospital buildings needing repairs.  Tories don’t want the NHS.  PMQs Tube strikes.   NHS union members step up campaign to reject ‘paltry’ pay deal Cross-union group sends out leaflets and hold online calls to persuade staff to vote against package agreed by leaders Members of Britain’s biggest health unions are organising a campaign to reject the pay agreement being recommended by union leaders, in a move that threatens to destroy the tentative truce between the government and NHS staff. A cross-union group called NHS Workers Say No has sent out thousands of leaflets, held online calls and started WhatsApp networks in an effort to persuade members to vote against the 5% increase hammered out during months of talks. Many are furious that union chiefs agreed to an increase that is well below the UK’s rate of inflation, and are willing to go back on strike to push for a better one. Campaigners believe the vote is likely to be on a knife-edge, and if they win, nurses could go back out on strike just as the country heads towards a crucial set of local elections. Ministers and union negotiators finally came to an agreement last week after weeks of talks and several months of industrial action. Under the terms of the deal, members of six unions, including the Royal College of Nursing, will receive a one-off 2% salary uplift and 4% Covid recovery bonus for the current year, and then a permanent 5% pay rise from April.

Yannis Varoufakis on energy companies hiking wholesale prices and green energy is pegged to the price of gas. E63: Europe’s electricity market: the scam of the century? Winter Is Coming…and Europe is facing a full-blown energy crisis. Power companies are hiking the price of electricity, making a tough winter even worse. And this time, it’s not just the poorest who are affected. The middle class is also feeling the squeeze. How much of this is due to how our politicians have set up Europe’s energy market, and how much to corporate greed? What other factors are at play? And how can we get out of this mess? Our panel, including Yanis Varoufakis, Julijana Zita and Erik Edman, investigate. Join us live and send us your comments and questions!

Part Two – Ukraine/Covid/Climate Accelerationism Round-Up, With End Times Prophecy Reports

Ukraine war. Scott Ritter on the US drone over the Black Sea and how the Russian’s dealt with it.  Judge Napolitano & Scott Ritter: Drone incident – Biden’s dangerous escalation – Crimea slams approach of American drone to peninsula ‘yet another provocation’ The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Aerospace Forces’ air space control capabilities spotted a US MQ-9 drone near the Crimean Peninsula on the morning of March 14 SIMFEROPOL, March 15. /TASS/. The approach of the American MQ-9 drone to Crimea with its transponders switched off is yet another evident provocation, such attempts should be harshly suppressed, a member of the Federation Council from Crimea, Olga Kovitidi, said. “The approach of an American MQ-9 drone to our state’s borders, to Crimea, with its transponders switched off, which is a violation of the temporary regime for the airspace, is yet another provocation. I am sure that any attempts to violate Russia’s state borders should be harshly suppressed,” the senator told TASS on Wednesday. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Aerospace Forces’ air space control capabilities spotted a US MQ-9 drone near the Crimean Peninsula on the morning of March 14. As the ministry specified, the American drone flew with its transponders switched off “violating the borders of the area covered by the temporary regime for the airspace use established for the purposes of the special military operation.” According to servicemen, Russian fighter jets did not employ their onboard armaments, the drone went into an uncontrolled flight as a result of an abrupt maneuver, lost its altitude and crashed into the water. The MQ-9 Reaper is a modular reconnaissance and strike drone engineered by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. The drone is outfitted with a turboprop engine enabling it to accelerate to over 400 km/h. It features flight endurance of 24 hours.

Russian Su-27’s Finally Down American Drone Near Crimea Russia has finally downed one of those pesky, extremely expensive American drones buzzing about Crimea in the Black Sea. A Russian Su-27 air interceptor harassed an American MQ-9 Reaper, dumping fuel onto it before ramming its propeller, causing it to fall into the Black Sea. “Our MQ-9 aircraft was conducting routine operations in international airspace when it was intercepted and hit by a Russian aircraft, resulting in a crash and complete loss of the MQ-9,” Air Force Gen. James B. Hecker, commander of US Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa, said in the statement. “In fact, this unsafe and unprofessional act by the Russians nearly caused both aircraft to crash.” This is done on purpose of course so as to keep a sense of diplomatic plausible deniability. It allows Russia to maintain an un-aggressive posture with the excuse that ‘we didn’t technically shoot down the drone with missiles/guns’, and it has more the air of an ‘accidental bump’ rather than deliberate shoot down. At the site of the fall of the wreckage of the American drone, the Black Sea Fleet organized their search and recovery on board. A helicopter of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was also involved in the search for the wreckage. Sounds like Iran is about to get itself a brand new MQ-9 Reaper to reverse engineer. Maybe China too?

Russian Ambassador on Andrew Marr LBC Ambassador Andrei Kelin’s interview to Andrew Marr on LBC News, 22 February, 2023 Main topics: Conflict in Ukraine Special military operation Prospects of peace talks Minsk Agreements New START treaty Weapons supply to Ukraine Nuclear weapons Russia-NATO relations Russia-China relations Ambassador Andrei Kelin’s key statements: NATO countries, with UK among the leaders, are getting deeper and deeper into the Ukraine conflict. This only prolongs it. We really believed that Minsk Agreements could bring peace to Ukraine. Unfortunately, for the West they were just a way to win time to reinforce the regime in Kiev. It is ideologically wrong to oppress one of the nations in your own country. Yet this is exactly what the Kiev regime has been doing since 2014 to the Russian-speaking population in Donbass. This is a Nazi approach. Russia has not withdrawn but suspended participation in New START. Treaty’s main elements, incl info exchange on launches & keeping to warhead limits, remain in force. Reversal is possible but first we need to see reversal of the US anti-Russia policy. The longer will be the reach of weapons received by Ukraine from the West, the further we would need to push back the frontline in order to protect our security and ensure safety of our citizens. There are no circumstances in the current Ukraine conflict in which Russia might use nuclear weapons. At the moment Ukraine totally rejects the idea of peace talks. NATO refused to listen to Russia’s objective security concerns and warnings. This resulted in the current Ukraine crisis. The world should be multipolar. Countries like China, who are friendly towards Russia, understand it much better that UK and the West.

FORMER AUSTRALIAN PM MALCOLM TURNBALL BLASTS UK/US SUBMARINE DEAL Aukus submarine deal being a bad deal, and how China is not a threat to Australia. Malcolm Turnbull joins Paul Keating in smashing AUKUS nuclear subs deal: Ex-PM doubts ‘sick’ United Kingdom can hold up its end of the bargain Turnbull has joined fellow ex-PM in AUKUS criticism He thinks French subs would have been better deal Doubts ‘sick’ UK economy can sustain investment Malcolm Turnbull has become the second former prime minister in as many days to slam the government’s historic AUKUS nuclear submarines deal. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced a $368billion deal with the United States and the United Kingdom on Tuesday, securing eight high-tech submarines over the next 30 years. On Wednesday, ex-Labor PM Paul Keating described AUKUS as ‘the worst deal since World War 1’. Mr Turnbull apologised on ABC Radio for not being able to ‘express his concerns as colourfully as Paul’s’, before going on to also savage the deal. ‘The reality is this will take a lot more time, cost a great deal more money – have a lot more risk and cost a lot more money than if we had proceeded with the submarine project we had with France, that Morrison recklessly cancelled,’ he said. During an appearance at the National Press Club on Wednesday, the famously acid-tongued ex-PM took swipes at Anthony Albanese, Richard Marles, Penny Wong, US President Joe Biden, intelligence agencies and virtually any reporter who dared ask him a question. ‘Because I’ve got a brain. Principally,’ he said. ‘And I can think. And I can read. And I read every day. ‘I mean, why would China want to threaten… What would be the point? They get the iron ore, the coal, the wheat. ‘What would be the point of China wanting to occupy Sydney and Melbourne? Militarily?’ ‘And could they ever do it? Could they ever bring the numbers here? It would be an armada of troop ships to do it.

DOUBLE TROUBLE: DEPLETED URANIUM (DU) FROM UKRAINIAN TANK BATTLES APPEARING IN UK AIR SAMPLES? Uranium Weapons Residues in UK Air Samples Have Been Measured Since the Ukraine War, Why is Google Suppressing the Evidence? Uranium weapons being employed in Ukraine have significantly increased Uranium levels in the air in the UK Chris Busby on how there has been a doubling of Uranium being detected in air filters in UK, since beginning of Ukraine warUkraine weapons Uranium found in air filters in the Atomic Weapons Establishment Aldermaston.  Data covering the period November 2017 to November 2022 was obtained from the Atomic Weapons Establishment, Aldermaston to find if there was an increase in Uranium associated with the Ukraine war. Results from 9 High Volume Air Samplers deployed onsite and offsite by AWE showed that there were significantly increased levels of Uranium in all 9 HVAS samplers beginning in February 2022 when the war began. The result has significant public health implications for the UK and Europe – Uranium weapons have been increasingly employed in battle action since their first use by the US and UK forces in the Persian Gulf War in 1991. Since then, they have been used in the Balkans in the late 1990s, then Kosovo in 2000, probably in Afghanistan in 2002 and then also in the 2nd Gulf War (GW2) in March and April 2003. On impact, uranium penetrators burn fiercely to give an aerosol of sub micron diameter oxide particles which are largely insoluble and remain in the environment for many years

Antiwar.com – 100,000 Ukranians killed in Ukraine war . Turkey approves Finland’s NATO bid, but not Sweden’s  Poland gives Ukraine fighter jets. ICC puts out arrest warrant for Putin for war crimes – .Poland to Be First NATO Member to Provide Ukraine With Fighter Jets Warsaw says it will send Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets in the coming days by Dave DeCamp Poland will become the first NATO member to supply Ukraine with fighter jets as Polish President Andrzej Duda said Thursday that his country plans to give Kyiv four Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets in the coming days. “In the coming days, we are handing over four aircraft to Ukraine in full working order,” Duda said at a press conference. Ukrainian pilots are trained to use the MiG-29, so the Polish planes can be used in battle once they arrive. Duda said Poland will send more MiG-29s after the first four are delivered. Last year, in March 2022, Poland offered to give MiG-29s to the US to transfer them to Ukraine, but the Pentagon declined, citing concerns of escalation. NATO diplomats said at the time that Russia could perceive the move as the alliance directly entering the war. But now, the US and its NATO allies are less concerned about escalation, and Poland’s move could inspire other alliance members to provide Ukraine with aircraft. Poland led the charge to give Kyiv German-made Leopard tanks. According to The Wall Street Journal, Ukraine’s MiG-29s are already armed with NATO equipment, including AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles, or HARMs, which have a range of about 50 miles. Ukraine’s MiGs are also firing US-provided Joint Direct Attack Munition-Extended Range (JDAM-ER), precision-guided bombs that can hit targets up to 45 miles away.

David Livingstone on how evil, Satanism and Nihilism are related. – – David Livingstone on Nihilism, Alexander Dugin; Ukrainian Nazis; Nick Land; Process Church; O9A & Pinay Cercle – David Livingstone on Nick Land and Accelerationism. Nick Land has been described as the “father” of accelerationism, a set of ideas which propose that capitalism and technological change should be drastically accelerated to create further radical social change – Accelerationism is the name of a contemporary political heresy: the insistence that the only radical political response to capitalism is to boost it so it collapses spectacularly
