Keir Starmer as establishment leader. Rosebank oil from North Sea. Bye-election 5th October – Margaret Ferrier SNP had to stand down.  Sunak urges Rosebank is the ‘right long-term decision for UK’s energy security’ Rosebank is one of the UK’s largest untapped fossil fuel resources. Rishi Sunak said it “makes sense to use our own supplies” and urged it is the right long-term decision for the UK’s energy security.” Britain’s future energy security was handed a massive boost after drilling at a major oil and gas development off the coast of Scotland was given the go-ahead. Ministers said Rosebank – one of the largest untapped fossil fuel resources in UK waters – would also protect hundreds of thousands of jobs and save billions of pounds. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said it “makes sense to use our own supplies”, adding: “This is the right long-term decision for the UK’s energy security.” Drilling at the oil field, said to contain 300 million barrels, was given the green light despite condemnation from Labour, the SNP and activists. A majority of the oil and gas is expected to be sold to Europe and reimported as refined products. Net Zero Secretary Claire Coutinho said that even by 2050 oil and gas will still be producing a quarter of Britain’s power. She said: “The choice we face is this: do we shut down our own oil and gas leaving us reliant on foreign regimes? Do we lose 200,000 jobs across the UK? “Do we import fuel with much higher carbon footprints instead? And lose billions in tax revenue? Keir Starmer’s approach will lead to higher emissions and fewer British jobs. Labour would leave us worse off and threaten our ability to keep the lights on.” The move widens the dividing line between Labour and the Tories over net zero, after the PM signalled a shift in approach last week. Mr Sunak pushed back the ban on sales of new diesel and petrol cars from 2030 to 2035, saying he wanted to be honest with the public about the trade-offs involved in cutting emissions.

Kuumba Centre – Council want them out. Attendee says what Kuumba means to her. Community Coups. Kuumba Centre supporters vow to block council eviction of community ‘lifeline’ – Today, Bristol City Council is ordering the people who have run a ‘lifeline’ community centre in St Pauls to leave. Last night, there was standing room only at a public meeting where the community said ‘no’ A packed eleventh-hour public meeting in St Pauls last night voted to back the board members who have been running a ‘lifeline’ community centre, and pledged to physically block any attempts by council officials to take over the building. Supporters of the Kuumba Centre said they have ‘soldiers ready to sleep here’ to ‘safeguard’ the space. Board members who have been running the arts and community centre in Hepburn Road for the past 12 years have been told they have to hand over possession of the building to Bristol City Council today (Thursday, September 28). But more than 100 members of the St Pauls and Stokes Croft communities came together last night, Wednesday, to express support for them, and pledge defiance against what one community activist called ‘an attempted coup by the council’. A legal notice was last night placed on the doors of the Kuumba Centre by the board warning the council that its attempt to take back control of the building was being challenged, and that legal challenge will be presented to the courts in the morning, asking for a pause on whatever action the council has planned to take over the centre. Bristol City Council has told Bristol Live that the Kuumba Project Ltd board are occupying the council-owned centre ‘without a valid lease and without the express consent of the local authority’. There was standing room only at an often emotional and passionate public meeting at the Kuumba Centre on Wednesday night. Three board members, Sister Nwanyi, Deborah Benjamin and Rachel Barclay outlined how the current board had taken over the running of the centre back in 2011 when the previous Kuumba charity organisation collapsed. They told the community members that they had paid an annual £100 peppercorn lease and their premises licence fee to Bristol City Council for more than a decade, and never taken any funding from the city council. Since then the Kuumba Centre had evolved into a flexible space with units rented by local artists and creative people, with spaces hired for a wide range of community events. Sister Nwanyi said the centre had originally been given to Bristol’s Rastafari community way back in the mid-1970s, and the current board were running it as volunteers for the whole community. But back in November 2022, the city council sent a letter telling the board that their lease was no longer valid, they weren’t allowed to have a premises licence – which enabled them to stage events later than 11pm – and even worse, they had to vacate the Kuumba Centre. In May this year, Bristol Live revealed how the council confirmed the board would have to ‘hand back’ the centre, and said the board were effectively trespassing or squatting in the building they had run and maintained with no help from the council, for the community, for the past 12 years. “We’ve been here, unpaid, for more than ten years,” said Sister Nwanyi. “We’re about empowering people to have a space they can all use. I find it insulting that they want to come here and get us out. They want to put us out and get someone else in, so the first question for everyone here is whether you want the present board to remain,” she said. “We’ve been told the council will put the running of this place out to tender, and they will choose who will run it. We’ve already been told that if we apply to run it, we won’t be successful. We’re feeling bullied. We’ve been told we are not the bona fide organisation that runs this place, and we have no rights. After 12 years, this is an insult.”

£40m Countryside Restoration Trust assets ‘stolen’ from Robin Page in a ‘trustee coup’. Robin Page gives his vision for wildlife friendly farming the British Countryside so disliked by the Zero Carbon lobby . Leveraged buyout: The Countryside Restoration Trust – In 2019 recent appointee David Mills, husband of actress Dame Judy Dench, became active on the board of renowned Cambridgeshire author and broadcaster Robin Page’s Countryside Restoration Trust charity. Over decades Robin had been donated and bequeathed over 2,000 acres, tens of millions of pounds worth of farmland and buildings. This new board faction turned on Robin in 2021 and voted him off the charity he’d founded, [see full details below] leaving him not just heartbroken, but quite rightly feeling robbed of the substantial fruits of his life’s conservation work. To rub salt in the wounds the new clique changed the charity’s name to the Countryside Regeneration Trust, bringing in more commercially-minded new managers for the farms entrusted to them. A wonderful old man who should have been enjoying his retirement was turned into a nervous wreck, seeing enemies everywhere, not knowing who he could trust. He thought the people who’d turned on him to take over his thousands of acres of farms, were his friends. In fact, Robin told me late in 2022, they had indeed pretended to be friends and supporters, while secretly establishing a majority on the board to vote him out. Everything Robin ploughed into his trust was usurped, he said, by the sort of business managers he’d set it up to oppose. Robin died in the spring of 2023.

Was the first communist a British Christian squatter? ‘Great Lives – Gerrard Winstanley’ on BBC Radio 4 [listen hereor here], including Ken Loach. Collective society. Communism. Marxist theory. China and Communism. Wigan Diggers Festival returns – The Land Is Ours celebrating socialist hero Gerrard Winstanley Saturday September 9 sees the return of the Wigan Diggers Festival to Believe Square in the heart of the home town of Gerrard Winstanley. The leader of the 17th century Diggers movement is celebrated in the day-long event, running from 11.30am to 9.30pm, offering music, poetry, ideas and discussions – all for free, which would certainly be approved by the influential political thinker, perhaps best known for his assertion that “The Earth is a common treasury for all”. They will be supported by, among others, local folk-rock band, Vision Thing, classic blues band, McHale’s Permanent Brew, the protest voices of Commoners Choir and musical satire from Bard Company – in among an eclectic mix of indie pop, performance poetry, singer-songwriters, folk bands, rock bands and more! The legacy of Wigan-born Gerrard Winstanley will be the subject of talks and discussions at The Museum of Wigan Life and the Parish Church, including acclaimed film maker, Ken Loach, Ben Kinmont, a member of the provocatively radical California Diggers of the 1960s, who provided free food to the needy, alongside street theatre, anarchic direct action, and art happenings and local activist Lisa Croft introducing Wigan’s proud links to The International Brigade.

Winstanley: a film that digs deep into 17th-century religious activism This black and white biopic of Diggers founder Gerrard Winstanley’s truly level take on these socialist ancestors never sacrifices authenticity for entertainment Winstanley (1975) Gerrard Winstanley began True Levellers, a Christian group devoted to egalitarian and communal living that formed in the wake of the English civil war. They became known as the Diggers, and are often considered precursors of socialists or communists. Few things warm the cockles of a historian’s cold, dispassionate heart like a long list of eminent advisers named in the opening credits of a film. Winstanley shouts out to several museum curators (from the V&A, Tower of London and the Museum of English Rural Life), somebody from the Roundhead Association (yes, it still exists) and a brigadier from the Sealed Knot. A prologue provides historical background, complete with accurate places and dates: 1646: King v parliament. 1647: Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army “seething with discontent at the outcome of the war” in St Mary’s church, in Putney. 15 November 1647: Colonel Fairfax (Jerome Willis) executes Private Arnold following the Corkbush Field Mutiny. This is sterling stuff, and elegantly filmed in black and white by Hungarian-born cinematographer Ernest Vincze, who later worked on Doctor Who. Top marks.

Suella Braverman – migrants – refugees or economic migrants. ‘A London Lost – Death of an English City’ documentary. History of immigration to UK. Mafia and economic migrants. Asylum policies open up pre-election divisions between Labour and Tories PM rules out ‘burden-sharing’ deal with EU as Keir Starmer says he is seeking closer cooperation with bloc Clear pre-election divisions have opened up between Labour and the Conservatives on immigration as Downing Street ruled out ever accepting an asylum seeker quota sharing deal with the EU, after Keir Starmer’s comments that he would. Labour earlier announced details of a new immigration policy that it said would result in criminals involved in cross-Channel people-smuggling being treated as terrorists. The Labour leader, who was holding talks at The Hague with officials from Europol and other bodies on Thursday, has suggested that an agreement to send back people who cross the Channel could involve accepting quotas of asylum seekers via the EU. In interviews, he would not be drawn on the number of people he would be willing to take in under the deal that Labour believes it can reach with the bloc. Asked later about the progress of the government’s own ongoing attempts to reach a returns agreement with EU, the prime minister’s spokesperson stressed that talks continued, with the caveat that the UK would never agree to a “burden-sharing agreement” where Britain had to accept a quota of migrants. “We have set out that migration across Europe is a shared problem and it involves work with our European partners. The discussions we have had with the EU have been on the basis of sending migrants back on the basis that they travelled through a safe country,” he said. Starmer, who courted controversy in an article for the Sun by labelling those who disagreed with his plans as “un-British”, said seeking closer cooperation with the EU on the issue did not mean a weakening of his stance on Brexit.

Dr. Matthias Ruff – big cartels running European Union – drug companies and WW2 Nazi concentration camps. EU vs Anglo Americans. The Nazi Roots of the “Brussels EU” Published by Dr. Rath Health Foundation – First published in 2010 and containing copies of previously unpublished historical documents sourced from international archives, “The Nazi Roots of the ‘Brussels EU’” proves that the key architects of the European Union were recruited from among the same technocrats who had previously designed the plans for a post-WWII Europe under the control of the Nazis. The Brussels EU is Attempting to Dismiss Our Proof of its Nazi Roots as ‘Pro-Kremlin Disinformation’ Published in 2010 and supported by historical documents sourced from international archives, our book ‘The Nazi Roots of the Brussels EU’ presents a very different history of Europe to that promoted by the continent’s political establishment. Not surprisingly, therefore, in the initial years following the book’s publication, the European Union (EU) avoided drawing attention to it. Since 2016, however, a website related to the European External Action Service, the diplomatic service and combined foreign and defense ministry of the EU, has been making clumsy attempts to whitewash the facts and dismiss the book as ‘pro-Kremlin disinformation.’ With worldwide awareness of the EU’s Nazi roots growing fast in recent years, it seems we have touched a nerve. The whitewashing attempts are published on the EUvsDisinfo website, a database describing itself as “the flagship project of the European External Action Service’s East StratCom Task Force.” Established in 2015, the supposed aim of the site is “to better forecast, address, and respond to the Russian Federation’s ongoing disinformation campaigns affecting the European Union, its Member States, and countries in the shared neighborhood.” The site claims that its “core objective is to increase public awareness and understanding of the Kremlin’s disinformation operations, and to help citizens in Europe and beyond develop resistance to digital information and media manipulation.” Needless to say, the Dr. Rath Health Foundation is not involved in any Kremlin disinformation campaigns or operations. Supported by historical documents sourced from international archives, our book simply reflects the facts. Significantly, therefore, and as we shall examine next, the EUvsDisinfo site blatantly misquotes what we actually say in the book.

Russian economy doing well. Poland. Michael Hudson with Pepe Escobar ….. Vladivostok meeting. New Eurasian currency? CBDCs and Banks. China property collapse.  BRICS or NATO? Radhika Desai, Michael Hudson and Pepe Escobar G20 or G77? Summits mark rapidly changing world order Geopolitical Economy Report Political economists Radhika Desai and Michael Hudson are joined by geopolitical analyst Pepe Escobar to discuss the rapidly changing world order at a time of summits of BRICS, G20, and G77 and the UN General Assembly. MICHAEL HUDSON: So we’re dealing really not only with a geographic split, but with a split of economic structures, a mixed public-private economy, not like the Western public-private partnership, which you socialize the losses and privatize the profits, but something where the aim is really not to make a profit, but to make the overall economy grow. That’s the basic principle in all this. And the only thing I can say now that you’re talking about how the West has ignored what you’re doing, there’s a reciprocal ignorance there. By the East, yesterday, the United Nations opened, and actually I watched the 6:30 News, and the 6:30 News had a split screen. On the one hand, there was Ukraine’s President, Yelensky, giving a speech, and on the other was a stock footage of the General Assembly, everybody there, everybody in their seats, and it was the boring speech. But then when it was off, I thought, well, that’s only two minutes. Let me look at the internet and see what happened. And they actually had a picture of the General Assembly while Yelensky was speaking, and it was almost entirely empty. The global majority had walked out, except I think there was an African delegation who were talking among themselves and laughing while Yelensky was speaking. So you have really two different worlds, and they don’t seem to be mixing, except for the extent that the United States can try to come in and slow down the whole process and try to prevent the clock from moving.

Twitter X BBC – emissions from different countries– UK ‘nowhere to be seen’ on list of world’s worst countries for carbon emissions China eclipses other countries’ contributions for carbon emissions, prompting one political commentator to slam the UK’s green focus saying ‘but let’s cull cows, ban gas boilers and enforce ULEZ’. A political pundit has slammed the UK’s focus on climate change by sharing a graph which claims China’s carbon emissions total more than all other countries combined. James Melville, a political commentator and a regular contributer to GB News, shared the live BBC graph on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. The graph details how China’s carbon emissions have grown from 1959 to 2020 and now surpasses all other countries’ contributions – with the UK not even appearing on the top ten list. It comes as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced he’d delay a series of key climate targets at a press conference yesterday (September 21). Mr Melville wrote: “China’s emissions now exceed all developed nations combined…

Standing ovation for Ex Waffen-SS Nazi Ukrainian in Canadian Parliament. British blogger Warren Thornton outing 98 year old Ukrainian, Yaroslav Hunka, as an ex Waffen-SS Nazi. Warren was arrested and questioned! Poland considers bid to extradite Ukrainian Nazi veteran Yaroslav Hunka, 98, after his standing ovation in Canadian parliament and is probing whether he is wanted for crimes against Polish Jews Yaroslav Hunka was a member of the 14th Waffen-SS ‘Galacia’ Division The 98-year-old was a volunteer member of the Nazi brigade during WWII Poland is now seeking to extradite the Nazi from Canada, where he has settled A Polish minister has said the government is considering the extradition of Ukrainian Nazi veteran Yaroslav Hunka from Canada after the north American country’s parliament gave him a standing ovation last week. Poland’s education minister Przemyslaw Czarnek said on Tuesday that he has made a request to extradite the 98-year-old accused Nazi. He said in a post on X, formerly Twitter: ‘In view of the scandalous events in the Canadian Parliament, which involved honouring a member of the criminal Nazi SS Galizien formation in the presence of President Zelensky, I have taken steps towards the possible extradition of this man to Poland.’ The 46-year-old politician said in a statement that he had urged the country’s president to investigate whether Hunka is wanted for crimes against Poland and Polish Jews. Poland’s ambassador to Canada, Witold Dzielski, said the move was still in a preliminary stage. Canada faced international backlash after dozens of its parliamentarians, including prime minister Justin Trudeau, were seen applauding the Nazi veteran, who served in 14th Waffen-SS ‘Galacia’ Division, a voluntary unit made up mostly of ethnic Ukrainians under Nazi command. Members of the division were accused of killing Polish and Jewish civilians during World War II. The Nuremberg tribunals found the Waffen-SS guilty as an organisation of war crimes but not the Galicia division. In recently unearthed blog posts dated as recently as 2011, Hunka describes 1941 to 1943 as the happiest years of his life and compares the veterans of his unit, who were scattered across the world, to Jews. He also admits to having a ‘profitable and affluent life in Canada’ after he left Ukraine.

Justin Trudeau apologizes for mistake. Anthony Rota, Speaker for Canadian House of Commons, resigns. Trudeau apologizes in Parliament – criticism from opposition. Justin Trudeau apologises after Nazi veteran honoured in parliament Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has apologised on behalf of Canada’s parliament after a Ukrainian man who fought for a Nazi unit was unwittingly applauded in parliament. “This is a mistake that deeply embarrassed parliament and Canada,” Mr Trudeau said on Wednesday. Speaker Anthony Rota, who has assumed responsibility for inviting Yaroslav Hunka, 98, resigned on Tuesday. The incident has drawn global condemnation. Mr Trudeau also apologised directly to Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky, who was visiting Canada and present in parliament, saying: “Canada is deeply sorry.” The Ukrainian leader was among those pictured applauding Mr Hunka, an image that has been exploited in Russian propaganda. “All of us who were in this House on Friday regret deeply having stood and clapped even though we did so unaware of the context,” Mr Trudeau said. “It was a horrendous violation of the memory of the millions of people who died in the Holocaust.” He said what happened was “deeply, deeply painful” to Jewish people and the many millions who were targeted by the Nazi genocide. Mr Hunka, who fought with a Nazi unit in World War Two, got a standing ovation and was praised as a Ukrainian and Canadian “hero”. He served in the 14th Waffen-SS Grenadier Division, a voluntary unit made up mostly of ethnic Ukrainians under Nazi command. Division members are accused of killing Polish and Jewish civilians, although the unit has not been found guilty of any war crimes by a tribunal.

Nagorno Karabakh to disappear by end of the year, joins Azerbaijan. Lots of seceding going on – UN role? Catalan seceding. Fights over territories. Nagorno-Karabakh will ‘cease to exist’ as separate state on January 1 Authorities of the self-styled Republic of Artsakh order the dismantling of all of its state institutions following a ceasefire deal. Thousands of Armenians flee from Nagorno-Karabakh Nagorno-Karabakh authorities have ordered the dismantling of the region’s state institutions by the end of the year, saying that the separatist state will cease existing as of January 1, 2024. The decision came in a decree signed by the region’s separatist President Samvel Shakhramanyan on Thursday as more than half of the 120,000 ethnic Armenians who used to live in the enclave fled into Armenia following a military operation by Azerbaijani forces last week. The document cited the ceasefire agreement last week which ended the fighting. Under the agreement, Azerbaijan will allow the “free, voluntary and unhindered movement” of Nagorno-Karbakh residents. Baku launched a military offensive on September 19. A day later, separatist authorities said they were forced to lay down their arms and agreed to a Russia-brokered ceasefire. While Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev promised to guarantee the rights and security of ethnic Armenians, decades of distrust, wars, mutual hatred and violence have left many residents of Nagorno-Karabakh sceptical over the possibility of the region’s peaceful reintegration into Azerbaijani territory. In recent days, long queues of cars have formed on the road linking the region to Armenia. A stream of ethnic Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh has fled the enclave. On Thursday, Armenian authorities said more than 65,000 of them have now reached Armenia.

Taboo: over fifty regions ‘want out’ citing Euro-tyrannies in European ‘separatism crisis’: – Separatism: Kosovo, Donbass, Catalonia, Scotland and…? More than 100 governments recognized Kosovo’s self-proclaimed independence 15 years ago, but most of them have their own issues of this kind In February of 2008, Kosovo’s parliament – dominated by Albanian separatists – declared the province’s independence from Serbia. Belgrade objected to the move, but it the new “state” was recognized the very next day by the United States, Britain, France, Türkiye, and Albania. More than 50 countries followed by the end of that year. As of now, almost 100 UN member states have recognized Kosovo’s sovereignty. However, this figure is in constant flux, as some countries have withdrawn their support due to Belgrade’s diplomatic efforts. Nevertheless, Pristina continues to claim that 117 countries support its “independence.” In fact, more than half of the countries belonging to the UN do not recognize Kosovo’s independence. Among these are China, India, most of the post-Soviet countries, as well as several EU members, namely Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, and Slovakia. Russia is one of the main opponents of Kosovo’s declaration of independence and has been consistent about the consequences for the world order. Upon closer examination, it turns out that the vast majority of global states are dealing with some form of separatist issues, ranging from significant to very minor. A Balkan Patchwork Quilt The disputed status of Kosovo is only the latest instance of separatism resulting in the emergence of a new state-like entity in the Balkans. The disintegration of the region has been dubbed ‘Balkanization’, and deservedly so. At the end of the last century, most of the Balkans were incorporated into a united country called Yugoslavia. Today, there are seven independent countries in its place, but this is by no means where it might end. Serbia was the first to face the problem of Albanian separatism, but there are Albanian communities in other nations throughout the region – including Montenegro, Greece, and Northern Macedonia. In the latter, the threat is especially acute, since Albanians, who account for 25% of the country’s total population, live in the country’s western regions adjacent to Kosovo.RT In addition to the Kosovo problem, Serbia has potential issues with Vojvodina – an autonomous region inhabited not only by Serbs, but also Hungarians, who have a very strong regional identity. Kosovo also has its own internal challenges. In the northern part of the province, there is an enclave populated mainly by Serbs, who do not like the prospect of being isolated from their larger homeland. Likewise, problems with separatism have inevitably arisen in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Republika Srpska, which is part of it, looks towards independence or reunification with Serbia and has increasingly expressed views on the future that contradict those of the central government. The same problem, though less acute, can be found in Croatian enclaves of Bosnia, as well as Croatia itself, where there are enclaves of Serbs….

US shutdown over Ukraine war spending? Russia increasing military spending. Moscow Announces Massive Military Spending Increase to Combat NATO’s ‘Hybrid War’ in Ukraine Moscow announced that it plans to increase military spending by nearly 70% in 2024 as it fights against what the Kremlin has dubbed NATO’s “hybrid war.” Russia’s defense budget next year, which is dwarfed by the Pentagon budget, will still be less than the total amount the US has already pledged to assist Kiev in its proxy war with Moscow. Russia’s Finance Ministry published a document on Thursday explaining that Moscow is set to ramp up defense spending by a whopping 68% to 10.8 trillion rubles ($111.15 billion) next year. At the same time, the Pentagon budget is fast approaching $900 billion, greater than the next ten highest-spending countries combined, while total yearly spending on the national security state is almost $1.5 trillion. The document adds, “the focus of economic policy is shifting from an anti-crisis agenda to the promotion of national development goals… [including] strengthening [Russia’s] defense capacity.” The additional funding is also needed for the process of “integrating” the four regions of Ukraine which Moscow has annexed since its invasion began, namely Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. Additionally, draft outlines for Russia’s budget for the next three years show that – due to an adjustment in the budget rule – an extra 1.7 trillion rubles ($17.72 billion) will be made available in spending from oil and gas revenues. “It is obvious that such an increase is necessary, absolutely necessary, because we are in a state of hybrid war, we are continuing the special military operation,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said referring to escalated military spending. “I’m referring to the hybrid war that has been unleashed against us,” he added. Russian Foreign Minister Serey Lavrov has recently railed against Washington, stating “no matter what it says, it [the US] controls this war, it supplies weapons, [munitions], intelligence information, data from satellites, it is pursuing a war against us.”

Russia puts international court’s top leadership on wanted list Moscow steps up retaliation against ICC after it issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. Russia’s ministry of internal affairs has placed International Criminal Court (ICC) President Piotr Hofmanski on its wanted list, according to the ministry’s online database. The site does not specify what Hofmanski is wanted for, but it states he is “wanted under the article of the Criminal Code,” reported Russian state-run news site TASS. Alongside Hofmanski, the ministry also added ICC Vice President Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza and judge Bertram Schmitt to the wanted list. Moscow has been retaliating against the ICC, which back in March issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia’s Children’s Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova over the forced transfer of children to Russia since the Kremlin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began last year. Russia said it did not recognize the court’s authority and quickly responded to the arrest warrant by opening its own criminal case against the ICC prosecutors and judges. Since then, Russia has placed several ICC officials on its wanted list, including British prosecutor Karim Khan and judges Tomoko Akane and Rosario Salvatore Aitala.

China – global future white paper . China issues White Paper on global community of shared future, presses on with green BRI projects BEIJING – China on Tuesday unveiled its blueprint for a better world, raised by President Xi Jinping in 2013, through a policy paper on building a global community of shared future. China also said it will continue to push for green development in Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) projects, rejecting accusations that it has outsourced its environmental pollution, a senior official from China’s top economic planner said at a press conference on the wide-ranging policy paper about China’s global vision. The White Paper titled “A Global Community of Shared Future: China’s Proposals and Actions” comes a decade after the vision was first proposed by Mr Xi, and has been presented as his alternative to the current Western-led world order, with an emphasis on what it calls Chinese-style diplomacy and various global initiatives. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI, and China will host the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in October, with leaders and representatives from some 130 countries set to attend, including Russian President Vladimir Putin. By July 2023, more than three-quarters of countries in the world and over 30 international organisations had signed agreements on Belt and Road cooperation with China, the White Paper said. Issued by the State Council Information Office, the White Paper said the vision rises above the exclusive rules of bloc politics, the notion of “might makes right” and the “universal values” defined by a handful of Western countries. China has contributed to building a global community of shared future with actions including promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, state news agency Xinhua said on Tuesday. At the press conference, in a rare appearance beyond his usual annual press conference in March, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that by putting forward the creative idea, President Xi has shown “the correct path for the world”, building a strong consensus for international cooperation. China has also proposed solutions to major global challenges in fields such as health, climate change and cyber security, Mr Wang added. He said Beijing was willing to play a “constructive” role in the success of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit in November in San Francisco. It paves the way for a possible meeting between Mr Xi and US President Joe Biden – both presidents last met on the sidelines of the Group of 20 (G-20) leaders’ summit in November 2022 in Bali. Mr Xi did not attend the G-20 summit in India earlier this month, missing an opportunity to meet Mr Biden, and prompting the US to say China was “giving up” on the G-20 and building an alternative world order.

TwitterX – Matt Campbell 911. www.ic911.org  -In major victory for 9/11 family, UK attorney general withdraws decision to deny family’s application for new inquest The attorney general’s office has advised that a new decision will be made “in due course.” The family expects a new decision no later than the end of the year. We at the International Center for 9/11 Justice are very happy to announce — on behalf of the family of Geoff Campbell — that the decision by the attorney general for England and Wales to refuse the family’s application for a new inquest into Geoff’s murder on September 11, 2001, has been withdrawn. This development comes a little less than two weeks after the Campbell family sent a “pre-action protocol letter” to the attorney general’s office announcing their intention to seek judicial review of the attorney general’s June 2023 decision. The letter included a 21-page submission, to be made to the court, setting forth the family’s grounds for challenging the attorney general’s unlawful and irrational decision, which was issued nearly two years after the family first submitted their application. The attorney general’s withdrawal of her decision one day before the Campbell family was to file for judicial review is a major victory for the family in their effort to open a new inquest into Geoff’s death. The attorney general’s office has advised that a new decision will be made “in due course.” Given how much time has already gone into reviewing the application, the family expects a new decision no later than the end of the year. In light of the attorney general’s implicit admission that the original decision was legally deficient, the Campbell family is confident that the decision will be reversed and is more hopeful than ever that they will have their day in the West London Coroner’s Court — where they will prove that Geoff was killed in the North Tower’s demolition.

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

Was case that made ‘legend’ for Keir Starmer as a human rights champion (who then jailed Julian Assange & freed Jimmy Savile) an MI5 operation? Creating a ‘legend’ for Labour leader Kier Starmer as a human rights lawyer in the 1990s McLibel court case Labour Party. Mc Libel case of 1990s – Kier Starmer was the lawyer. Kier Starmer as a human rights lawyer until mid 2000s. Election fixing and security services interference. As Martin points out the London Greenpeace leaflet which was at the centre of McDonald’s case against Dave Morris and Helen Steele was penned by an undercover policeman – so was the whole court case engineered and orchestrated by the secret services to propel young barrister Kier Starmer to fame and fortune as a ‘selfless radical leftie. McLibel leaflet was co-written by undercover police officer Bob Lambert Exclusive: McDonald’s sued green activists in long-running David v Goliath legal battle, but police role only now exposed An undercover police officer posing for years as an environmental activist co-wrote a libellous leaflet that was highly critical of McDonald’s, and which led to the longest civil trial in English history, costing the fast-food chain millions of pounds in fees. The true identity of one of the authors of the “McLibel leaflet” is Bob Lambert, a police officer who used the alias Bob Robinson in his five years infiltrating the London Greenpeace group, is revealed in a new book about undercover policing of protest, published next week.

McDonald’s famously sued green campaigners over the roughly typed leaflet, in a landmark three-year high court case, that was widely believed to have been a public relations disaster for the corporation. Ultimately the company won a libel battle in which it spent millions on lawyers. Lambert was deployed by the special demonstration squad (SDS) – a top-secret Metropolitan police unit that targeted political activists between 1968 until 2008, when it was disbanded. He co-wrote the defamatory six-page leaflet in 1986 – and his role in its production has been the subject of an internal Scotland Yard investigation for several months. At no stage during the civil legal proceedings brought by McDonald’s in the 1990s was it disclosed that a police infiltrator helped author the leaflet….

This is rather like, according to former MI5 officer Annie Machon, Tony Blair was also ‘groomed’ by MI5 to infiltrate the Labour party by appearing to be a radical, joining CND and other leftie and pacifist groups before  making it to party leader (after the possible assassination of John Smith) and starting a massive illegal war in the Middle East by invading Iraq. Annie told Martin and Tony the story that when she blew the whistle to Mail on Sunday editor Jonathan Holborow in August 1997 the Mail on Sunday editor was summoned to Downing Street the following Monday and, to avoid bugs, was taken into the garden by PM Tony Blair who asked him ‘What does Shayler know?’ [about Blair’s relationship with MI5]. Fury as ‘war criminal’ Blair knighted and given Britain’s top honour TONY Blair’s fiercest critics have reacted with fury to him becoming a knight and joining the country’s highest order of chivalry. News of the former Labour prime minister’s elevation to the Order of the Garter as a Knight Companion dismayed opponents of the invasion of Iraq who consider him a “war criminal”. Former Labour and Respect MP George Galloway said: “Arise Sir Tony Blair, the mass-murdering War Criminal, liar and mountebank. It literally takes the biscuit.” Journalist John Pilger said: “The contempt in which Britain’s elite holds the public has never been more eloquently expressed than in the decision to award Tony Blair the highest order of knighthood. The honour for Mr Blair comes 14 years after the new Labour architect left Downing St. Decisions about who joins the ceremonial order, which dates back to 1348, are made without advice from the Prime Minister. The reaction to the announcement shows that longstanding critics of Mr Blair have not cooled in their anger….

BBC and security services – Christmas Tree stamp. Chinese spies in the Tory Party. Bulgarians in UK spies for Russia – says MI5. Al Jazeera report – Rupert Murdoch retires and passes media empire on to his son Lochlan. MI5 and the BBC: Stamping the ‘Christmas Tree’ Files ….All BBC employees had a personnel file which included their basic personal details and work record. But there was also a second file. This included ‘security information’ collected by Special Branch and MI5, who have always kept political surveillance on ‘subversives in the media’. If a staff member was shortlisted for a job this second file was handed to the department head, who had to sign for it. The file was a buff folder with a round red sticker, stamped with the legend SECRET and a symbol which looked like a Christmas tree. On the basis of information in this file, the Personnel Office recommended whether the person in question should be given the job or not. A former senior BBC executive recalls seeing one journalist’s security file, stamped with a Christmas tree symbol: ‘For about twelve years it had recorded notes such as “has subscription to Daily Worker” or “our friends say he associates with communists and CND activists.” It is fair to say that there were contemporary memos from personnel officials adding they thought this was ridiculous. But it was still on file.‘ The names of outside job applicants were submitted directly to C Branch of MI5. They were then passed on to the F Branch ‘domestic subversion’, whose F7 section looks at political ‘extremists’, MP’s, lawyers, teachers and journalists. After consulting the registry of files, the names were fed into MI5’s computer, which contains the identities of about a million ‘subversives’. Once MI5 had vetted an applicant their decision was given in writing to the BBC’s Personnel Office. MI5 never gave reasons for their recommendations. But, quite often, if they said a person was a ‘security risk’, that was enough to blacklist him or her permanently. Members of board interviews were advised not to ask questions. And it was only when an executive or editor put pressure on the Personnel Department that MI5’s decision was overruled. For many years a BBC staff member was used as the Security Liaison Officer. But in 1982 Brigadier Ronald L. Stonham, a retired army officer, moved into Room 105 as ‘Special Assistant’ to the Director of Personnel, Christopher Martin, himself a former Royal Marine. Stonham began his working life in the Post Office Engineering Department during the Second World War. In 1948 he was commissioned into the Royal Signals Regiment, and by 1963 he had worked his way through the ranks to Major. He also had a spell in the intelligence section of the Chief of General Staff in 1971. Six years later he was promoted to Brigadier of the Signals Regiment. Stonham saw security vetting as part of his responsibility to co-ordinate BBC’s contingency plans for a wartime and emergency broadcasting service. This was the official line taken after the Observer revealed the corporation’s blacklisting policies in 1985. The BBC stated: ‘Only relatively few members of staff go through this [vetting] procedure. They are necessarily involved in sensitive areas or require access to classified information.’ This was untrue. The evidence shows that vetting was used in a much wider context – and for political, not security, reasons….

Bucha massacre – spin in media. What happened in Bucha and who is going to be punished for it? Moscow strongly denies accusations of mass civilian killings in the Ukrainian town of Bucha near Kiev and offers to discuss the topic at the highest possible level, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, TASS reports. “We strongly reject any of those allegations. Moreover, we believe that this topic should be discussed at the highest level possible,” he said. In this regard, Peskov noted, Moscow took the initiative to “consider this topic at the Security Council.” Russian diplomats will continue active efforts to promote this issue onto the agenda of the UN Security Council. The video materials that Ukraine earlier distributed should not be trusted. Specialists of the Russian Ministry of Defense have already identified signs of video forgery and fakes in those materials, Peskov said. Earlier, Kiev and many foreign media outlets disseminated information about the massacre of civilians in Bucha by the Russian military. The Russian Defense Ministry called those reports a provocation. The department also reported that on March 31, the mayor of Bucha, Anatoly Fedoruk, confirmed that there were no Russian military in the town, but he did not mention anything about the killings of local residents on the streets. On April 3, Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council because of the “outrageous provocation committed by Ukrainian radicals” in the town of Bucha. The UK, which currently presides the UN Security Council, did not give consent to the meeting. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on April 4 that Moscow would again ask to convene a meeting of the UN Security Council. The Kremlin is demanding international leaders slow down with their sweeping accusations and request data from various sources. The Kremlin has not commented on how this situation may affect the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. International response to Bucha massacre Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that every person guilty of the killings of civilians in Bucha would be put in the special “book of executioners” to be subsequently found and punished. The mothers of the Russian military men should see “what bastards they have raised,” Zelensky said. France will discuss the imposition of new sanctions against Russia with EU partners. Paris admits restrictions on the supplies of Russian oil and coal, French President Emmanuel Macron said. German Chancellor Scholz also announced new sanctions against Russia in the coming days. The authorities of Ireland also called for new sanctions. The UK and the USA also discuss tougher restrictions. In a joint statement, the European Union accused Russia of the killings and said that the perpetrators of war crimes, as well as those involved in government and military command, would be held accountable. Japanese Prime Minister Kishida condemned “actions to harm civilians” and did not rule out new sanctions. Czech President Zeman called those responsible for the killings of civilians on the territory of Ukraine to an international tribunal. Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki called for a need to hold a EU summit to discuss Russia’s actions. UN Secretary General Guterres called for an independent investigation into the crimes against civilians in Bucha. Russia’s reaction to Bucha massacre The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that the photos and videos from Bucha were part of the provocation conducted by the Ukrainian authorities. Alexander Bastrykin, the chief of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed to analyze and give a procedural assessment to the provocation about the murder of civilians in Bucha. In order to discredit the Russian military personnel, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense distributed video recordings filmed in the town of Bucha near Kiev as evidence of the massacre of civilians. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, all the materials published by the Kiev regime about the crimes of the Russian military personnel in the indicated settlement are untrue and are provocative nature. The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian military left Bucha completely on March 30. “The so-called evidence of crimes in Bucha appeared only on the fourth day (April 3rd), when Ukrainian SBU officers and representatives of Ukrainian television arrived in the city,” representatives for the Russian Defense Ministry said. It turned out that the wildly publicised video from the street in Bucha was posted on Twitter at least at 23:07 on April 1, Moscow time. Editing posts on Twitter is impossible, which excludes a possibility to post a new video to an old tweet (Twitter shows different post times depending on your time zone.). Earlier, it was believed that the first footage from Bucha appeared on April 2. On March 31, Anatoly Fedoruk, the Mayor of Bucha, confirmed in his video address that there were no Russian military men left in the town. However, the mayor did not even mention any local residents who had been shot in the streets with their hands tied behind their backs. All the “evidence of crimes” in Bucha appeared only when Ukraine’s SBU officers and Ukrainian television reporters arrived on the scene. All the bodies of the victims, whose images were published by the Kiev regime, did not stiffen as four days passed. The bodies do not have characteristic cadaveric spots, whereas unclotting blood can be seen in their wounds, representatives of the Russian Defence Ministry said. The photos and videos from Bucha appeared as another provocation staged by the Ukrainian authorities, similarly to the one with the alleged shelling of the maternity hospital in Mariupol, officials added. The Ukrainian troops were shelling the southern outskirts of Bucha around the clock, including residential areas. However, during the time when Bucha was under the control of the Russian military, not a single local resident suffered from any violent actions, the ministry also said.

End of internet free speech as King Charles III readies ‘Online Safety Bill’ for law. Facial recognition software rollout not popular – Government defends it. Off Guardian – Bill about personal information? UK quietly passes “Online Safety Bill” into law by Kit Knightly OffGuardian Buried behind the Brand-related headlines yesterday, the British House of Lords voted to pass the controversial “Online Safety Bill” into law. All that’s needed now is Royal assent, which Charles will obviously provide. The bill’s (very catchy) long-form title is… A Bill to make provision for and in connection with the regulation by OFCOM of certain internet services; for and in connection with communications offences; and for connected purposes. …and that’s essentially it, it hands the duty of “regulating” certain online content to the UK’s Office of Communications (OfCom). Ofcom Chief Executive Dame Melanie Dawes could barely contain her excitement in a statement to the press: “Today is a major milestone in the mission to create a safer life online for children and adults in the UK. Everyone at Ofcom feels privileged to be entrusted with this important role, and we’re ready to start implementing these new laws.” As always with these things, the bill’s text is a challenging and rather dull read, deliberately obscure in its language and difficult to navigate. Of some note is the “information offenses” clause, which empowers OfCom to demand “information” from users, companies and employees, and makes it a crime to withhold it. The nature of this “information” is never specified, nor does it appear to be qualified. Meaning it could be anything, and will most likely be used to get private account information about users from social media platforms. In one of the more worrying clauses, the Bill outlines what they call “communications offenses”. Section 10 details crimes of transmitting “Harmful, false and threatening communications”. It should be noted that sending threats is already illegal in the UK, so the only new ground covered here is “harmful” and/or “false” information, and the fact they feel the need to differentiate between those two things should worry you. After all, the truth can definitely be “harmful”…Especially to a power-hungry elite barely controlling an angry populace through dishonest propaganda. Rather amusingly, the bill makes it a crime to “send a message” containing false information in clause 156…then immediately grants immunity to every newspaper, television channel and streaming service in clause 157. Apparently it’s OK for the mainstream media to be harmful and dishonest. But the primary purpose of the new law is a transfer of responsibility to enable and incentivize censorship. Search engines (“regulated search services”, to quote the bill) and social media companies (“regulated user-to-user services”) will now be held accountable for how people use their platform. For example: If I were to google “Is it safe to drink bleach?”, find some website that says yes, and then drink bleach, OfCom would not hold me responsible. They would hold Google responsible for letting me read that website. Likewise, if someone tweets @ me telling me to drink bleach, and I do so, Twitter would be held responsible for permitting that communication to take place. This could result in hefty fines, or even potentially criminal charges, to companies and/or executives of those companies. It could even open them up to massively expensive civil suits (don’t be surprised if such a legal drama hits the headlines soon). Unsurprisingly the mainstream coverage of the new laws barely mentions any of these concerns, instead opting to put child pornography front and centre. Because the Mrs Lovejoy argument always works. That’s all window dressing, of course, what this is really about is “misinformation” and “hate speech”. Which is to say, fact-checking mainstream lies and calling out mainstream liars. Section 7(135) is entirely dedicated to the creation of a new “Advisory committee on disinformation and misinformation”, which will be expected to submit regular reports to OfCom and the Secretary of State on how best to “counter misinformation on regulated services“. This is clearly a response to Covid, or rather the failure of Covid. Essentially, the pandemic narrative broke because the current mechanisms of censorship didn’t work well enough. In response, the government has just legalised and out-sourced their silencing of dissent.

Russell Brand interviewed and taking opportunity to give facts on Covid. Russel Brand sexual assault claims – a set up? Simon Killane, former Councillor, on various spurious claims made against him to destroy him. MTV fired Russell Brand after he turned up dressed as Bin Laden. On a final note I just want to point out that Dame Caroline Dinenage’s husband is Major General John Mark Lancaster, Baron Lancaster of Kimbolton, former deputy commander of the British Army’s 77th Brigade, responsible for “non-lethal warfare and behavioural influence”. British MPs are trying to “cancel” Russell Brand…but why? Undermining the presumption of innocence and feeding cancel culture are run of the mill these days, but the timing is very strange. Kit Knightly – This Russell Brand story gets stranger and stranger by the day. Last night it was revealed the a senior MP had written letters to multiple social media companies requesting information on Russell Brand’s income and covertly pressuring them into either demonetizing or removing his accounts. [NOTE: Before we continue you may want to read our recent pieces on the Russell Brand case and the UK’s new Online Safety Bill.] The news broke when video-hosting platform Rumble posted a screenshot of their letter, along with their official response, on Twitter. In the letter, Dame Caroline Dinenage MP – chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Committee – requests to know “whether Mr Brand is able monetize his content”, “whether Rumble intends to join YouTube [in suspending monetization]” and what steps they are taking to “ensure that creators are not able to use the platform to undermine the welfare of victims”. It was later revealed that near-identical letters had been sent to the offices of X(Twitter) and TikTok. This is, obviously, wrong. At the very least it’s massive government overreach and potential ministerial misconduct. It is certainly a breach of privacy, and a flagrant display of disregard for the rule of law. Forget Russell Brand, whether or not you like him and what he did or didn’t do, this is a point of principle. Right now Brand is nothing but the subject of media-based mudslinging – there has been no trial, no arrest, and no charge. He is entirely innocent in the eyes of the law and remains that way until convicted, this is a vital right enshrined in British law since Magna Carta [emphasis added]: No free man is to be arrested, or imprisoned, or disseised, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any other way ruined, nor will we go against him or send against him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land. What would prompt the government to overstep like this?

Nazi-style surveillance of Palestinians and Anglo-Zionist empire’s misuse of the term ‘Terrorism’ since9/11 attacks: How national armies of elected governments and key human rights groups such as in Palestine are now being designated terrorist’ organisations by the corrupt governments of the Anglo-Zionist empire –  George Szamuely, Press TV, on how US has not paid an international relations price for 9/11. Al Jazeera documentary ‘ Inside Israel’s Surveillance Machine’ on the latest techniques used for mass surveillance of all Palestinians. Israel designates 6 Palestinian human right groups as terrorist organizations – RAMALLAH, West Bank — Activists said Saturday they hope an international backlash will help reverse Israel’s designation of six Palestinian human right groups as terrorist organizations, a label that effectively outlaws them. Two of the six groups said they would not be forced underground despite the uncertainty of their new status, which would allow Israel to raid the groups’ offices, seize assets, arrest employees and criminalize funding and expressions of support. Activists said they seek to challenge the decision by Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz. Israel’s terror label for the six groups, including some that receive European funding, appears to have caught the United States and Europe off-guard. It could force them to pick a side, at a time when efforts efforts to negotiate the terms of a Palestinian state alongside Israel are hopelessly bogged down. For years, the U.S. and the EU have largely focused on conflict management, including strengthening Palestinian civil society, while not exerting overt pressure on Israel to halt its ongoing settlement enterprise on occupied lands the Palestinians seek for their state.

While MI5 vet Anglo-Zionist fascist cartel-critical MPs and journalists, Bulgarian and Chinese so-called spies they ignore Israeli spies in the Labour party HQ. Labour Party hires former Israeli intelligence officer. Network of intelligence groups – Unit 8200 – What is former Israeli spy Assaf Kaplan doing in the British Labour Party’s head office? Last week when I broke the story of Assaf Kaplan, a recent Labour Party hire, the main feedback – often objection – I received on social media went along this sort of line: “There’s no such thing as a ‘former’ spy.” A failing elections campaign operative for the Israeli Labor Party, Kaplan had nonetheless been hired by Keir Starmer’s UK Labour Party. But the most stunning part of the story was not simply that Starmer had hired someone from outside of the UK, or even that he was an Israeli (given Israel and the Israeli Labor Party’s open hostility towards UK Labour’s last leader Jeremy Corbyn). My story’s big reveal was the fact that Kaplan had once been an Israeli intelligence officer. For almost five years, he had worked for Military Intelligence’s cyberwarfare outfit, Unit 8200. Unit 8200 is a large and sprawling asset in Israel’s armoury of aggressively offensive spy agencies. Most of its thousands of recruits are young, often radicalised, and straight out of high school. It spends millions on churning out high-tech intelligence agents to convey into Israel’s increasingly privatised mercenary spy firms. A loose global network of “intelligence” firms with names like Black Cube and NSO Group have their profits effectively subsidised by the Israeli taxpayer in the form of what amounts to free government training for their recruits. Unit 8200 veterans flood the world of high-tech start-ups in Israel. Unit 8200 itself is notorious as a particularly brutal and insidious spying outfit.

All Protestant and Catholic institutions have been compromised by secret society intelligence witchcraft because only the official Orthodox Church still enforces the ‘Oath Crime’. This is law is taken from Jesus’ ‘Sermon on the Mount’ as follows: ‘Never swear an oath. Simply let your ‘yes’ be ‘yes’ and your ‘no’ be ‘no’. Anything else comes from the devil.’ Matthew 5:37. So as you can see the CIA and MI6 are truly Masonic, Satanic, witchcraft institutions. They have slowly gained immense secret control of wealth and power in Europe, Israel and the United States, and in their empire beyond, through controlling appointments in official roles and in corporations, also infiltrating ancient orders of ‘chivalry’, such as the Teutonic Knights and Order of the Garter, control the Anglo-Zionist empire’s finance, politics and the military.

“Ukrainian politics is full of what can euphemistically be called “colourful characters,” and Kolomoisky is one of them. The 1+1 channel was the same that originally aired Volodymyr Zelensky’s comedy show Servant of the People, in which he played a Ukrainian President. Kolomoisky was Zelensky’s chief backer during his presidential campaign, when the latter ran as the anti-war and anti-corruption candidate. In 2010, the European Jewish Congress accused Kolomoisky of hostile takeover when the mobster crowned himself its president. To their enormous credit, the organization found a way to push him out in 2011. Three years later, following the Euromaidan overthrow of President Victor Yanukovich, Kolomoisky sided with Ukrainian nationalists against Russia. I can see it from his point of view: In Russia, the oligarchs are subordinate to Putin, but Ukrainian politics are more chaotic and regionalized. There he can be in charge. Calling himself jidobandera (‘jid’is a pejorative for Jew, and Bandera is the name of the World War II-era Ukrainian fascist whose followers slaughtered Jews and Poles, sometimes colluding with the Wehrmacht and sometimes on their own), the oligarch, appointed the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, organized a nationalist militia into the Dnipro Battalion. Amnesty International accused the group of blocking humanitarian aid at one point, and the U.N. implicated them in numerous war crimes. Kolomoisky also assisted in the creation of several other armed factions, including the notorious neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which has been incorporated into the Ukrainian National Guard.

Ramzi bin al-Shibh, former Guantanamo Bay prisoner, can’t continue trial against US for torture, as psychotic – 9/11 defendant unfit to stand trial, US judge rules Ramzi bin al-Shibh was first transferred to Guantanamo Bay in 2006 A military judge at Guantanamo Bay has ruled one of the five defendants charged over the 9/11 attacks is not fit to stand trial in a death-penalty case. The defendant Ramzi bin al-Shibh has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, associated psychotic features and a delusional disorder. His lawyer has long claimed his client was “tortured by the CIA”. Al-Shibh was scheduled to face pretrial proceedings on Friday. Colonel Matthew McCall in the US base on the eastern tip of Cuba accepted the findings of the doctors which said in August that al-Shibh was too psychologically damaged to defend himself. The medical board of doctors concluded al-Shibh had become delusional and psychotic, The New York Times reported. That made him incompetent to either face trial or plead guilty, according to a report filed with his trial judge on 25 August. According to the report, the military psychiatrists said his condition left him “unable to understand the nature of the proceedings against him or cooperate intelligently”.

Rapper Chris Kaba, shot dead by London’s Metropolitan Police – report – but Policeman not named. Chris Kaba: Officers ‘anxious’ after marksman murder charge The Met Police Commissioner has said firearms officers are “understandably anxious” after a force marksman was charged with the murder of Chris Kaba. Mr Kaba, 24, was shot and killed in Streatham Hill, south London, in September last year. The officer accused of his murder, named only as NX121, appeared in court on Thursday. Sir Mark Rowley said many officers are “reflecting on the potential price of such weighty responsibilities”. The commissioner said that after the murder charge, he met with 70 firearms officers who operate across London. Mr Kaba died from a single gunshot wound to the head after the car he was driving was hemmed in by a police vehicle and an officer opened fire on 5 September 2022. He was being followed by an unmarked police car with no lights or sirens and turned into a residential street where he was blocked by a marked police car. A firearms officer fired one shot through the windscreen and hit Mr Kaba. It later emerged that the Audi that Mr Kaba was driving, which did not belong to him, had been linked by police to a gun incident the day before.

Attack on Russian Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol –  Military Expert: NATO Helped Ukraine Strike Black Sea Fleet HQ in Sevastopol The headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in the Crimean port city of Sevastopol came under a Ukrainian missile strike on Friday, as per the Russian Ministry of Defence. The Ukrainian military attacked a historic building of the Black Sea headquarters in Sevastopol this September 22, with one Russian military serviceman going missing, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence (Mod). The MoD specified that during the Kiev regime’s attack on Sevastopol, five enemy missiles had been shot down by Russia’s air defences. “[The Ukrainians] mostly attack with Storm Shadows, they are British-made, it is quite likely that they are also French, they are basically identical and almost identical among the French SCALPs,” Vasily Dandykin, a captain 1st rank reserve and military expert, told Sputnik. “The Americans have not yet delivered their ballistic missiles with a firing range of 300 kilometres. These missiles [Storm Shadow – Sputnik] are quite insidious, they hit the Chongarsky Bridge with them twice; they hit our plant in Sevastopol. Seven were shot down, three penetrated.” “All this is orchestrated with the help of curators and patrons [from the West]. Even though they criticize Ukrainians for such behaviour and that it’s not what they are taught. They provide [Kiev] with intelligence data – US strategic surface drones are constantly hovering there – they provide data from strategic aviation, which is in the neutral waters of the Black Sea, they also provide, accordingly, space reconnaissance, especially from satellites that hang in low orbits.” A missile warning sound was heard in the Crimean city of Sevastopol, home to the Russian Black Sea Fleet, in the morning of September 22. According to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the fleet’s headquarters were subjected to a rocket strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Heavy smoke was seen emerging from the city centre…

Crimea vote – 97% wanted to join Russia. 2014: Official results: 97 percent of Crimea voters back joining Russia SIMFEROPOL, Ukraine — Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula declared itself independent Monday after its residents voted overwhelmingly to secede and join Russia, while the United States and the European Union slapped sanctions against some of those who promoted the divisive referendum. Ukraine’s political turmoil has become Europe’s most severe security crisis in years and tensions have been high since Russian troops seized control of Crimea two weeks ago. Large numbers of Russian troops are also massed near the border with Russian-speaking eastern Ukraine, which has sharp political differences with the country’s new government in Kiev. The U.S., EU and Ukraine’s new government do not recognize the referendum held Sunday in Crimea, saying it violates both Ukrainian and international norms. Moscow, however, considers the vote legitimate and Russian President Putin was to address both houses of parliament Tuesday on the Crimean situation. The Crimean referendum could also encourage rising pro-Russian sentiment in Ukraine’s east and lead to further divisions in this nation of 46 million. A delegation of Crimean lawmakers was traveling to Moscow on Monday for negotiations on how to proceed. Russian lawmakers have suggested that formally annexing Crimea is almost certain – with one saying it could happen within days. Those living on the strategic Black Sea peninsula applauded the move, since it received over 97 percent backing from voters. “We came back home to Mother Russia. We came back home, Russia is our home,” said Nikolay Drozdenko, a resident in Sevastopol, the key Crimean port where Russia leases a naval base from Ukraine. The Crimean parliament declared that all Ukrainian state property on the peninsula will be nationalized and become the property of the Crimean Republic. Lawmakers also asked the United Nations and other nations to recognize it and began work on setting up a central bank with $30 million in support from Russia. The United States announced sanctions against seven Russian officials, while the EU’s foreign ministers slapped travel bans and asset freezes against 21 officials from Russia and Ukraine following Crimea referendum. The ministers did not immediately release the names and nationalities of those targeted by the sanctions.

Donbass Voices 2 – Dr. Iry Bell on how her family has coped with Ukraine war. Dr Irina Bell was born in the Donbass but fled with her young child to London. She believes the Kiev government bears much of the responsibility for the current war.  Dr Iry Bell was born in the Donbass and in the Maidan Square, Kiev for the protest and coup-d’etat in February 2014. She believes the protests were led from outside Ukraine, by the EU and the US and have created a tragedy for her country. As she has a child she felt she had to flee the Donbass war zone despite being a medical doctor whose skills would be needed there. She wants to see an immediate end to the fighting, a genuine peace agreement as soon as possible. Putin recognises independence of Ukraine breakaway regions The Russian president recognised two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine as independent entities. Moscow’s move could torpedo a last-minute bid for a summit with US President Joe Published On 21 Feb 202221 Feb 2022 Russian President Vlamidir Putin has signed the presidential decree recognising the independence of separatist regions in eastern Ukraine – a move that will severely ratchet up tensions with the West amid fears of a Russian invasion. Putin’s announcement comes after a meeting of the presidential Security Council and paves the way for Russia to openly send troops and weapons to the long-running conflict pitting Ukrainian forces against Moscow-backed rebels. A 2015 peace deal ended large-scale fighting, but violence has simmered and has seen a spike in recent weeks amid the wider crisis. In a lengthy televised address, Putin described Ukraine as an integral part of Russia’s history and said eastern Ukraine was ancient Russian lands and that he was confident that the Russian people would support his decision. He said that Ukraine never had a tradition of genuine statehood and complained that post-Soviet Ukraine had wanted everything it could from Moscow without doing anything in return.

UN Charter means equitable international law principles, or it means nothing [applause]. Serbian PM, Aleksandar Vucic, speech at UN comparing Angli-Zionist empire’s support for Kosovo secession from Serbia, but not secession of Donbass from Ukraine. Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia, addresses the general debate of the 78th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (New York, 19 – 26 September 2023)  History of break up of Yugoslavia and observations in Croatia now. Serbian president blasts West’s double standards in int’l relations – UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) — Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday blasted the West’s double standards in handling international relations. Addressing the UN General Assembly, Vucic criticised U.S. President Joe Biden’s double standards in his speech at the General Debate. “Here, in this hall, only two days ago, we could hear from the president of the United States the most important principle in relations between the countries — the respect for their territorial integrity and sovereignty, and only as the third most important factor, he mentioned human rights. And, it seemed to me that everybody in this hall could support that. I, as the president of Serbia, supported that with unhidden jubilance,” he said. “A few hours after his speech I had to see, in these premises, the president of the so-called Kosovo, who is considered by the most powerful part of the West the president of an independent country, originated, by the way, by the secession of the territory of the Republic of Serbia,” he said. For the first time, unprecedented in world history, the most powerful 19 countries of NATO made the decision, without the involvement of the UN Security Council, to brutally attack and punish a sovereign country on European soil, said Vucic, referring to NATO’s bombing of the former Yugoslavia in 1999. NATO said that the issue of Kosovo is a democratic issue and that it would be resolved in accordance with the UN Charter and other international law documents. But in 2008, the illegal decision on the secession of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija from Serbia was made without a referendum or any other democratic forms, he said. “Worse than anything is that all those who committed aggression against the Republic of Serbia lecture today about territorial integrity of Ukraine, as if we did not support the integrity of Ukraine,” Vucic said. “But when we ask them (the West) about the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia … the answer is the one that all of you, representatives of smaller countries in the world, heard on countless occasions: do not go back in the past, look toward the future,” he said. Principles do not change from one circumstance to another. Principles apply to all, he said. “Or we will end up in the deepest divisions in our history.” ¦

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

Bristol 24/7 article by Christine Townsend about Merchant Venturer run schools – ‘Medieval institution built on human exploitation’ has no place running schools Christine Townsend has reiterated her call for the Society of Merchant Venturers to stop their involvement in children’s schooling. The shadow cabinet member for education said that “the individuals who make an active choice to be members of this medieval institution, built on the exploitation and extortion of fellow human beings and the environment, are surely the most contemptuous and damaging ‘community’ in this city”. “To use a well-worn phrase, ‘in the name of God, go’,” wrote Townsend in an eviscerating member forum statement ahead of Tuesday’s full council meeting at City Hall – which she stressed was her personal opinion. Independent journalism “The years it has taken these people to get out of state schools has seen generations of our city’s children subjected to inadequate education, safeguarding risks, being made to engage in ritual worship of slave traders in Bristol Cathedral, their staff being subject to institutional racism, Venturers on a school governing body writing supportive character references for a senior staff member later found guilty of sexual crimes against a child, continuous unlawful admissions practices designed to filter year 7 intakes – and that’s just some of the stuff that has appeared in the press. “Only the children and families that attended these schools and were on the receiving end of these people’s attitudes and approaches can truly understand the contempt with which the Merchant Venturers treat the working classes and the levels of entitlement and arrogance within which they live their lives. “Getting out of our state school sector is only the beginning, these people must get out of our democracy entirely.” She added: “It seems as if any activity where public money can be turned into private profit ends up having the dirty fingerprints of Merchant Venturers all over it, their noses well and truly troughing in the public purse.” Christine Townsend is the shadow cabinet member for education and Green Party councillor for Southville – photo: Rob Browne Townsend’s comments come after Bristol West MP Thangam Debbonaire said in an interview with Bristol24/7 that the Society of Merchant Venturers “appears to me to be an unaccountable, undemocratic network which aims to control important decisions in our city from the shadows”. “They have no place in a modern, multicultural Bristol that welcomes everyone. I don’t want to see them have a role in running our schools.”

Merchant Venturers ‘shedding skin’ by merging the privatised Academy Schools they manage – A Level students turned away from Withywood Merchants Academy school – run by Merchant Venturers. Merchant Venturer Marti Burgess is on the board of local news site Bristol 24/7 – Merchant Venturers’ schools to be taken over by national academy chain – The controversial Venturers Trust, which runs eight schools in Bristol, will cease to exist after the ‘merger’ Venturers Trust controversies The multi-academy trust was formed in 2017 at the height of controversy over the Society of Merchant Venturers’ involvement in education, and the campaigns to get schools like Colston’s Girls’ School to drop its celebration and commemoration of the Bristol slave trader Edward Colston. At the time, the Merchant Venturers blocked moves to change the school’s name, and only did so after the Colston statue was toppled in 2020. Then, the man who had been headteacher of CGS back in 2017, John Whitehead, said the Society of Merchant Venturers were not fit to run any education establishment in the city. The involvement of the Society of Merchant Venturers in education in the city has long been the subject of controversy, as part of a wider concern about education inequalities within the city. A study in 2018 found that while 100 per cent of 18 year olds in Clifton go to university, just eight per cent in Hartcliffe and Withywood, where Merchants Academy is based, do the same. There was further pressure on the Venturers Trust in 2022 when a shock Ofsted inspection and report took Montpelier High School, which for all of the 2010s was widely recognised as the best or most sought-after state-funded school in Bristol, from ‘outstanding’ to ‘inadequate’. That controversy continued into 2023 when Ofsted returned and said the school had not improved enough, and was still a cause for concern.

Simon Fairlie and Gill discussing Monkton Wyld case. Monkton Wyld Ccourt Case.co.uk. Coup d’État at Monkton Wyld Court Operators of “Britain’s Oldest Microdairy” Ordered to Leave the Premises. The Land Magazine made Homeless. The head gardener at Monkton Wyld Court ordered to leave, “with immediate effect”. A failure to properly redact the names of witnesses to the HR Teams investigation has enabled us to obtain Incontrovertible evidence, that the HR Team misrepresented the statements given by these witnesses – On 9 May 2023, six trustees of Monkton Wyld Court, an educational charity managed by a long-standing intentional community, ordered two members of the community to leave. Gill Barron (73) and Simon Fairlie (72) have been living and working at MWC since 2010, when they joined the community to revive its flagging micro-dairy and neglected farmland. Five of the six trustees who ordered their departure have been trustees of the charity for less than four months. The trustees also coerced xxxxxx into resigning from the board of trustees. She had been a trustee for 15 years, and had spoken up in favour of Gill and Simon. Two other trustees have recently resigned. More recently our grower, Jasmine Hills, has been told to leave “with immediate effect” for no given reason. Five other people living and working at MWC are expected to leave in protest, and the community and charity are in meltdown. As a result the microdairy, which dates back to 1941 and is probably the oldest established dairy of its size in the UK will have to shut down. The Land magazine, a highly respected journal based at MWC, will have to suspend publication until it can locate new offices. Gill and Simon are accused by “WS”, a prospective member of the community on a six-month trial, of influencing community decisions through intimidation; but no evidence has been provided as to what decisions have been forced through in this way. Gill does not even attend meetings. They are also accused by the same complainant of bullying. The Anti-Bullying Alliance defines bullying as “The repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power.” Nothing that Simon and Gill are alleged to have done in any way matches this description. In fact it is more accurate as a description of how the trustees have treated Simon, Gill and Jasmine over the last six weeks. Documentary film ‘Wyld’ in production about Monkton Wyld case.

We20 in India as an alternative to G20 – Indian Police stop conference – Morning Star report. Al Jazeera – report on G20. Indian police stop a conference of activists and academics discussing G20 issues ahead of summit Indian police have intervened to stop a meeting of prominent activists, academics and politicians discussing global issues ahead of a summit of the Group of 20 industrialized and developing nations due to be hosted in New Delhi. The Hindu newspaper cited police officer Sanjay Sain as saying that no police permission was sought for the meeting. “They had erected tents outside the building. And there was a considerable gathering of people in an area where Section 144 (prohibiting gatherings of four or more people) had been imposed,” Sain said. The organizer’s statement said police had also tried to disrupt the meeting on Saturday by preventing people from reaching the venue, but the program went on as scheduled. Jairam Ramesh, an opposition Congress lawmaker, said it is “extraordinary that Delhi Police are stopping people from attending the We20 meeting.” A. Raja, a leader of the Communist Party of India, said the police action was an attack on freedom of expression. We20 meeting organizers said the G-20 is a “popular networking event for the rich and powerful, under the pretense of saving the world.” The Indian government has mounted an advertising campaign ahead of the G-20 summit to showcase the country’s growing global clout under Modi, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Brinda Karat said. Critics also challenged the interests of the G-20 and whom it served to benefit. “The G20 is being organized to secure the corporate interests of a few. We need to work to secure our interests, our rights, our forests, our water,” said Roma Malik of the All India Union of Forests’ Working People.

Military Intelligence carrying out terror attacks for political gain 1: Al Jazeera report on The Troubles Bill. Northern Ireland. Families of Troubles victims launch legal challenges to Legacy Bill – A number of family members of victims of the Troubles have launched a High Court challenge to the Government’s controversial Legacy Bill. The families, who all had relatives killed during the conflict in Northern Ireland, have lodged judicial review proceedings challenging the lawfulness of the legislation and its compatibility with international human rights standards. The Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill has been passed into law and is awaiting royal assent. The Bill will give a limited form of immunity from prosecution for Troubles-related offences to former terrorists who co-operate with a truth-recovery commission. It will also halt all future civil cases and inquests. The Bill was opposed by all major Stormont parties, victims’ campaign groups and the Irish government. Madden & Finucane Solicitors released a statement on Friday outlining that they would be challenging the legislation on behalf of family members of Kathleen Thompson, Gervaise McKerr, Gerard Casey, Sam Marshall, Pearse Jordan and Gerard and Rory Cairns, all of whom were killed in the Troubles. The statement also said that they intend to lodge applications to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg. Relatives of a further three victims have lodged judicial review proceedings with the High Court, represented by Harte Coyle Collins Solicitors. The next of kin of Annette McGavigan, Thomas Burns and James (Jim) McCann lodged papers challenging all aspects of the legislation including the amnesty scheme. Billy Thompson’s mother Kathleen was shot dead by a member of the Royal Green Jacket regiment in Derry on November 6 1971 In 2022, a coroner rejected the evidence of a former soldier who killed Mrs Thompson and referred the matter to the Director of Public Prosecutions. Jonathan McKerr’s father Gervaise was shot dead near Lurgan on November 11 1982 when members of an elite firearms unit of the RUC fired more than 100 rounds into a car he was driving, killing him and his two passengers. All three were unarmed. An inquest into their deaths has never been concluded. In May 2001, the ECHR found the UK to be in breach of the European Convention on Human Rights because no effective investigation had ever been conducted into Mr McKerr’s death. Una Eakin is the widow of Mr Casey, who was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries on April 4 1989 in Rasharkin, north Antrim. Mr Casey had been threatened in Castlereagh in the 1980s and a legally held shotgun was seized by the RUC during a house raid six months before his death. In 2007, Mr Casey’s inquest verdict was quashed by the High Court and in July 2010 the Attorney General for Northern Ireland ordered a new inquest into his death. In 2022 the Police Ombudsman published a report which found “collusive behaviour” between security forces and loyalist paramilitaries in his murder. Linda Hewitt is taking the case for her brother Mr Marshall, who was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries on March 7 1990 in Lurgan, shortly after leaving Lurgan RUC station after signing bail. In a small urban area patrolled by at least 11 heavily armed undercover British soldiers on foot, in observation positions and in cars, two UVF men were able to enter the area, murder Mr Marshall and attempt to murder his two companions, and then safely withdraw unhindered. Teresa Jordan’s son Pearse was shot dead by the RUC on the Falls Road, Belfast on November 25 1992. In 2016 a coroner formally referred two former RUC officers to the Public Prosecution Service to consider whether they should be prosecuted for perjury or perverting the course of justice arising from their evidence to the inquest. A prosecutorial decision has not yet been taken. Eamon Cairns’ two sons Gerard and Rory were murdered in their home by the mid Ulster UVF in October 1993. In 2019 a loyalist paramilitary admitted on a BBC Spotlight programme that he and others had conspired to murder every male member of the Cairns household and that intelligence had been received directly from the RUC. In May 2023 a file was submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions. May McGavigan’s sister Annette, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, was shot by the British army on September 6 1971 in Derry. The shooting is currently under investigation by the Legacy Investigation Branch of the PSNI. Patricia Burns’ father Thomas was shot by the British army on July 12 1972 when leaving the Glenpark Social Club in North Belfast. Mr Burns was an ex-serviceman who had served in the British Navy for 10 years and left behind his widow Kathleen and four young children Stephen, Patricia, John and Martin. In March 2023, the Attorney General for Northern Ireland directed a fresh inquest into the shooting. Responsibility for the shooting is not disputed by the Ministry of Defence. Daniel McCready’s uncle Mr McCann is alleged to have been shot by the British army on February 3 1973 in Belfast. Mr McCann was one of six people shot in what has become known as the New Lodge 6 shootings. In February 2021, the Attorney General for Northern Ireland directed that a fresh inquest take place. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said the Irish government is seeking legal advice on the possibility of taking an interstate case against the UK in relation to the Legacy Bill.

Military Intelligence carrying out terror attacks for political gain 2: C4 report on Sri Lankan Easter bombing. Sri Lanka’s Easter Bombings: Dispatches A Dispatches special reveals shocking new evidence on Sri Lanka’s deadly Easter bombings of 2019. High-placed whistle blowers allege top-level complicity by officials inside the Sri Lankan government. Sri Lanka appoints committee to probe Channel-4’s allegations on Easter bombings – 270 people, including 11 persons got killed and 500 suffered injuries in the attack – Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe appointed a committee on Friday to probe allegations levelled by Channel-4 in its documentary based on Easter bomb attacks. According to reports, Wickremesinghe has appointed a committee headed by a retired Supreme Court Justice to probe the channel’s allegations. Daily Mirror reported that committee would be headed by retired SC Justice S.I. Imam. “A committee chaired by retired Supreme Court Justice S I Imam has been appointed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe to investigate ‘Channel-4’ allegations about the Easter attacks,” Daily Mirror reported. The publication reported that retired Air Force Commander ACM Jayalath Weerakkody and Harsha A.J. Soza PC are also part of the investigation committee. As many as 270 people, including 11 Indians got killed in the 2019 Easter terror attacks by an Islamist extremist group. UK’s Channel 4 aired a documentary titled Sri Lanka’s Easter Bombings – Dispatches’ alleging the involvement and complicity of certain government officials, including intelligence service chief Major General Suresh Sallay, in orchestrating the 2019 Easter suicide bombings. It called the attacks a “crafted act aimed at forcing a political change in favour of the Rajapaksa brothers”- a charge denied by them. The attacks that took place on April 21, 2019, were carried out by nine suicide bombers belonging to the local Islamist extremist group National Thawheed Jamaat (NTJ) linked to ISIS. A series of devastating blasts tore through three Catholic churches in predominant Catholic areas during the Easter Sunday mass and as many luxury hotels killing nearly 270 people, including 11 Indians, and injuring over 500. The attacks led to a significant political change in Sri Lanka. It has emerged that the then authorities had ignored prior intelligence on the attack by Indian intelligence agencies.

Queen Camilla running the show – for a weak king? Daily Telegraph: Behind the scenes it is the Queen who is running the show’ As this publication revealed last September, it was Camilla who insisted on the appointment of former newspaper executive Tobyn Andreae as the King’s new spokesman – a move that apparently even blindsided Sir Clive Alderton, the monarch’s long-serving private secretary. As one royal insider explained at the time: “I think there is a sense that behind the scenes, it’s largely the Queen who is running the show. She makes a lot more decisions than people think, especially with [former aide] Michael Fawcett out of the picture.” The departure of Mr Fawcett in November 2021 devastated the King, who was said to be so reliant on his former valet that he once declared: “I can manage without just about anyone, except for Michael.” But his absence from the royal court only appears to have strengthened Camilla’s position. “The King does have weaknesses and it’s fair to say that the Queen knows how to exploit them,” added the insider. “But it’s a bigger court now and the King has duties that can’t be ignored and that need the support of the Queen.”

Who is Alice Keppel? Camilla’s Ancestor was Mistress to King Edward VII Yes, Prince Charles’s great-great grandfather and Camilla’s great-great grandmother were an item. Although the torrid love triangle of Prince Charles, Princess Diana, and Camilla Parker Bowles promises to be season four of The Crown’s biggest scandal, for British history buffs, it is merely an example of history repeating itself. The now-Duchess of Cornwall was not the first to have an affair with a royal in her family. Her great-great grandmother Alice Keppel was famously the favorite mistress of King Edward VII. That’s right, Charles and Camilla’s great-great grandparents also had an illicit relationship. Alice Keppel was the toast of Edwardian society. Alice Frederica Edmonstone, who went by the nickname Freddie (or even, “flirtatious Freddie”) was born into a high-ranking family in 1868: her father was a Baronet and an admiral in the Royal Navy. She grew up in Duntreath Castle in Scotland and married Lieutenant-Colonel George Keppel, a British Royal officer, at 23. She was a renowned beauty with chestnut hair, a pale complexion, large blue eyes, a small waist, and a large chest—all features that were greatly coveted in “the naughties nineties.” Alice was also known for being an exceptionally kind person, even to her enemies. “She was luminous, resplendent… She not only had a gift of happiness, but she excelled in making others happy. She resembled a Christmas tree laden with presents for everyone,” her daughter Violet said. When Alice and George moved to London, they were part of the city’s top social circles and Alice began having affairs in order to move up the social ladder. The money and connections allowed her to thrive as a society hostess, which is how she met Prince Albert Edward in 1898 when he was 56 and she was 29. They stayed together for twelve years, through his coronation as King Edward VII until his death in 1910.

Is Camilla named after the fictional vampire ‘Carmilla’? King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Unusual Bedroom Arrangement Is Their ‘Secret to a Long Marriage’ King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s (formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles, then Queen Consort) marriage is the second for both of them. But they have been married to each other longer than they were to their first spouses leaving some to wonder what the secret is to their marriage. Well, that just might be linked to their unusual bedroom arrangement. King Charles and Queen Camilla do not sleep together in the same bed or in the same room for that matter. “[Charles] has a room with a double bed, decorated to his own taste, then Camilla has her own room with a double bed, decorated just the way she likes it,” a friend of the king and queen told the Daily Mail. While that seems like an odd arrangement for some, it’s not uncommon with royal couples. “In England, the upper class always have had separate bedrooms. You don’t want to be bothered with snoring or someone flinging a leg around,” explained Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin Lady Pamela Hicks. As The Mirror noted, another reason for the arrangement may have to do with the king’s health as the monarch has suffered from back pain for years and sleeping alone in a bed makes things easier for him during the night. Moreover, royal expert Joshua Rom suggested that separate bedrooms may also have to do with the fact that the king and queen have such hectic schedules and are around so many people all the time that they prefer to relax separately. Some reports even claim that the arrangement is the “secret” to the pair’s “long-lasting marriage.”

Wesley Bear and Apasra from Bristol Acorn tenants union – Twitter @Acorn_Bristol – join Tony and Martin. Wesley on ITV. Withdrawal of Council Tax Reduction Scheme proposed by Bristol City Council in consultation. Thatcher – Poll Tax. Acorn will help prevent evictions. Tenants campaign group disrupts council meeting to defend proposed cuts to council tax benefit – Mayor Marvin Rees left the podium to chants of ‘shame’ – Tenants campaign group ACORN disrupted a full council meeting inside City Hall to oppose the mayor’s proposals to cut the council tax benefit. – Over 50 members assembled, with 20 standing up inside the chambers to disrupt the meeting, and 30 more setting up office in the foyer to collectively ring and text councillors to ask them to defend the benefit. Mayor Marvin Rees refused to answer calls to meet with ACORN to discuss the proposals, and left the podium to chants of ‘shame’ from the public gallery. Last week, 20 ACORN members disrupted the cabinet meeting five separate times and confronted the mayor directly as he adjourned the meeting and exited the council chambers, demanding that he meet with ACORN members to discuss proposed cuts. Again, the mayor refused to respond. Last month, ACORN launched their campaign to challenge proposals from Bristol Council to cut the city’s council tax reduction scheme, a key lifeline for over 23,000 households in the city on low incomes amidst the current cost of living crisis. This is the second time the Council’s Labour administration have proposed cuts to the support scheme, with ACORN leading a successful campaign against similar proposals in 2017.

At a public meeting last month at Docklands Community Centre, over 40 ACORN members met to plan the first steps in a campaign to defend the support scheme. Several councillors have already committed to back the campaign. The council has launched a public consultation which runs until September 25, offering one option for keeping the scheme, and several others where low income families would pay potentially hundreds of pounds more in council tax each year. ACORN says that this does not represent a meaningful choice for Bristolians, and that the council is looking for a ‘rubber stamp’ for a decision already made. ACORN have published guidance encouraging Bristolians to fill out the consultation, advocating for a ‘no cuts’ response. Bristol resident Wesley, who currently relies on the reduction scheme, said: “I get a significant reduction, so it’s about an extra £125 I’d have to pay out, which is going to be difficult. I’ve got two children, a house to heat, food to eat. I really don’t know where I’d find that extra money.” ACORN member William, who receives the council tax benefit, said: “I’ve been homeless before, and this is likely to force me towards that again, it’s really scary.” Fellow member Rachel, who’s receiving the council tax benefit, said: “I’m currently receiving full council tax benefit as I’m registered disabled. If this was to be cut and I’d have to pay it, it would financially cripple me, plunge me into debt and cause serious anxiety.” The council announced that it would save £3 million by cutting the scheme. Yet ACORN members argue that efficiency savings could be found elsewhere.

RFK Jr. Bobby Kennedy on Tim Dillon show with his wife Cheryl Hines – average US wage earner can’t buy a house any more. Blackrock cash buyers ‘gazumping’ home bidders – RFK Jr. Names The Three Major Corporations He Thinks Control The World And How They’re Screwing Us Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. doubled-down on claims that three major corporations are destroying America during a Saturday interview on “The Tim Dillon Show.” RFK Jr. seems to be the only 2024 presidential contender who wants to take on the globalist elites attempting to eradicate the fundamental right to American freedom. And for some reason, no one is taking him seriously. While chatting with comedian-savant Tim Dillon, RFK Jr. doubled down on his analysis of BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard, whose leadership have made it almost impossible for young Americans to buy homes. As it becomes more difficult to own a property, the quality of career growth and family formation declines nationally. “Three giant companies, BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard … who all own each other …”

CONGLOM-O, WE OWN YOU – RFK Jr. explained. “They’re the biggest companies in the world. Rich, and they … own, I think they own 88 percent of the S&P 500 … and now they’ve decided they’re going to buy every single family home in America. They’re on track now to control, to own the corporate control of 60 percent of the single family homes in America within six years.” These three companies operate under some type of shell corporation, RFK Jr. continued, and the purpose of their massive housing buy-up is to advance the Great Reset, and enact the will of the World Economic Forum. “You will own nothing, and you will be happy,” is the WEF’s Great Reset motto, and it’s coming to fruition right under our noses.

Lloyds Bank doing similar in UK – troubled mortgagees will have to rent their home off the bank and Buy-To-Let landlords are having to sell to the banks as interest rates and landlord taxes rise. Lloyds Bank to buy 50,000 homes as it aims to become one of UK’s largest landlords Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY.L) plans to become one of the UK’s biggest landlords, with targets to buy 50,000 homes by 2030, according to details in an internal job advert seen by the Financial Times. The move comes in conjunction with the bank’s recently launched Citra Living brand, a play that pushes it into the private home rental market. As low interest rates take hold, Lloyds has looked to diversify its offering away from traditional lending. A Lloyds spokesperson said: “As highlighted at launch, Citra Living will initially start small, with a focus on buying and renting good quality newly built properties. “This will be achieved by working alongside leading housebuilders to address the increasing demand for rental properties. The aim is to gradually provide incremental stock to the UK rental market over the coming years.” The bank will take a staged approach to its push into the property market and has recently signed a strategic partnership with property development firm Barratt Developments (BDEV.L).

Bobby Kennedy – DNC don’t want him to stand for election. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: DNC “Rigging” Primary For Biden, I May Need To “Look At Other Alternatives” – Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. accused the DNC of disenfranchising Democratic voters from choosing the party’s presidential nominee and how the party’s rules are designed to hurt his campaign. ROBERT F. KENNEDY: It’s pretty clear that the DNC does not want a primary. I don’t want to say that they want a coronation but that’s I think that’s a fair way to put it actually. Essentially they are fixing up the process so that it makes it almost impossible to have democracy function. They’re effectively disenfranchising the Democratic voters from having any choice in who becomes president, the Democrat nominee. So two of the things they’ve done today is they’ve moved the Iowa primary, they made rules that if anybody campaigns in Iowa, or any candidate sets foot in the state of Iowa or sets foot in the state of New Hampshire, then none of the votes that are cast for that candidate will be tallied. In other words any delegate that I win in New Hampshire or Iowa would go instead to the president. Now they’re trying to change it so that if I campaign in New Hampshire that none of the votes cast for me in Georgia will count. That’s significant because it’s hard tow in the nomination without Georgia. They are rigging it so that you know effectively, we are looking at the tabulations now that look like if you add up all the super delegate that they control and all the automatic delegates that just go to the party and go to the president, I would have to win almost 80 percent of all of the states in order to beat President Biden even if he only wins 20 percent… If the DNC is going to make it, it’s going to rig it so that it is simply impossible for anybody to challenge President Biden, you know I need to look at other alternatives. Because I can’t go back to the people who support me and to my donors and say you know I’m in this to make a point. I need to show them a road to victory… I want to see what the DNC does. I want to see if they make it a fair contest. I’m not asking to make it a hundred percent fair, I’m asking that there at least be you know a chance that it’d be plausible for somebody else to win other than their you know chosen elected candidate.

Joe Banks, freelance journalist, joins Tony and Martin. Joe Banks is on SubStack. Housing crisis and developers. Knowle shopping centre development. Councillor emails reveal behind-the-scenes effort to reverse Broadwalk planning decision – Role of Development Control committee Chair, Councillor Richard Eddy, under scrutiny for working with Mayor’s Office to secure planning permission for developer – ’Blessed Margaret’ and The Smack of Firm Government – Like his performances in the Council Chamber, Eddy’s correspondence is peppered with stodgy attempts at humour and allusions to his self-image as an unabashed, straight-talking Thatcherite. For example: “Thank you for your email of today regarding the above – which reaches me on my sick-bed. (I don’t know what the ‘Blessed Margaret’ would think of Private Sector sorts raised in the 1980’s who succumb to sickness).” Stressing his “Private Sector” credentials to the developer’s agent once again, he enthuses over receiving an email from them on a Sunday, which has been sent to ask about the possibility of a meeting the following day. He combines this expression of enthusiasm with a jibe against council officers, characterising them as lazy: “You’re so Private Sector! It would be exceedingly rare I’d receive an email from a Council Officer early Sunday lunchtime. (It may amuse you that at licensing Committee on Thursday a Conservative colleague asked me, “Post-Covid, roughly how many people work at the Counal (sic) House?” Quick-as-a-flash, I answered: “Surely you mean are based or paid. And some work too!”)”. This is contrary to Bristol City Council’s Member Code of Conduct, which prohibits derogatory criticism of officers by councillors. Maintaining the bantering tone, the Savills employee replies: “don’t really know what goes on behind closed doors at the Council but, apart from some notable exceptions, I’m afraid your (sic) probably confirming our suspicions!”

US Class Action against Google. Standard Oil. United States takes on Google in biggest tech monopoly trial of 21st century – The United States government is taking on one of the world’s most powerful companies: Google. A court battle kicks off on Tuesday in which the U.S. Justice Department will argue that Google abused its power as a monopoly to dominate the search engine business. It’s the government’s first major monopoly case to make it to trial in decades and the first in the age of the modern internet. The Justice Department’s case hinges on claims that Google illegally orchestrated its business dealings, so that it’s the first search engine people see when they turn on their phones and web browsers. The government says Google’s goal was to stomp out competition. “This lawsuit strikes at the heart of Google’s grip over the internet for millions of American consumers, advertisers, small businesses and entrepreneurs beholden to an unlawful monopolist,” said former Attorney General William Barr when the case was first filed in October 2020. Now nearly three years later, with millions of pages of documents produced and depositions from more than 150 people, the case is going to trial. How the internet is run is at stake The government’s case challenges how tech companies are able to amass power and control the products people now use daily in their lives. The outcome of the case could change how tech giants are able to do business and, in effect, how the internet is run. Google, which is worth $1.7 trillion, controls around 90% of the U.S. search engine market. It’s put together a massive legal team and brought on outside law firms to help fight its case. The company says its search product is superior to competitors and that is why it dominates the industry. Google says if people don’t want to use its search engine, they can just switch to another.

Part Two – Ukraine/Covid/Climate Accelerationism Round-Up, With End Times Prophecy Reports

Al Jazeera report – attack on Russian Naval base in Crimea. PMQs can British Army defeat Russia in battle? British missiles used todestroy Russian Black Sea Fleet Naval Vessels in Sevastapol – Satellite Images Reveal Aftermath of ‘Storm Shadow’ Hit on Crimea Shipyard New satellite images show the aftermath of Ukraine’s strike on a Russian naval base in Crimea on Wednesday, marking one of the most significant assaults on Russia’s Black Sea fleet in the more than 18 months of all-out war. The images, captured on Tuesday and Wednesday, show what appears to be damage to the vessels in the dry dock. Newsweek has reached out to the Russian Defense Ministry for comment via email. On Wednesday, Ukraine launched 10 cruise missiles at Russia’s naval facilities in Sevastopol, with Russian air defenses intercepting seven of the missiles, Moscow’s Defense Ministry said. Ukraine also used three uncrewed naval drones against Russian ships in the Black Sea, the Kremlin added. This before image shows the Sevastopol base before Ukraine’s strike, which marked one of the most significant assaults on Russia’s Black Sea fleet in the more than 18 months of all-out war. Planet Labs PBC Ukraine used British-supplied Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles in the attack, Britain’s Sky News reported, citing a Western and Ukrainian source. The missiles, which Ukraine can launch from its combat aircraft, have a range of more than 150 miles, and France has also sent its version of the Storm Shadow. Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the head of the Ukrainian Air Force, said in a post to social media that he wanted to thank Ukraine’s pilots “for excellent combat work.” The missile strikes damaged Moscow’s Rostov-on-Don submarine—thought to be the first Russian submarine hit during the war—and the Minsk landing ship at the Ordzhonikidze shipyard, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency told Ukrainska Pravda. Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea, which Moscow has controlled since it annexed the peninsula in 2014. Kyiv has vowed to reclaim the territory to the south of mainland Ukraine, and has upped attacks on Russia’s bases and key bridges connecting the peninsula to Russia in recent months. Moscow has used Crimea to launch attacks on Ukrainian territory throughout the war, including cruise missile strikes. Taking out one Kilo-class Russian submarine in Crimea “won’t materially affect Russia’s ability to launch cruise missile attacks from the Black Sea,” according to Frederik Mertens, a strategic analyst with the Hague Center for Security Studies.

Skripal handler. Skripal affair. Christopher Steel on BBC an ‘expert’ on Ukraine’s lack ammunition in the NATO proxy war on Russia. So who is thisso-called ‘expert’? Christopher Steele, former MI6 officer – author of 2016 Trump election fixing Steel Dossier -The Steele Dossier is a collection of lies which contains allegations of misconduct and conspiracy between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Government of Russia during the 2016 United States presidential election. Campaign members and Russian operatives allegedly colluded to interfere in the election and benefit Trump. The dossier contained the infamous pee tape allegations, which claimed Donald Trump had a urine-soaked run-in with Russian sex workers while staying in the presidential suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow, which then again was filmed by Russian secret services as blackmail material. – MI6 connection – Analyst Ludwig De Braeckeleer[10] pointed out that the Mueller Report ignores the following facts on the role the Steele dossier and MI6 played in the Russiagate hoax: Christopher Steele met with the FBI’s Peter Strzok in July 2016. During the summer of 2016, Robert Hannigan, then head of GCHQ, flew to Washington to brief John Brennan personally. CIA Director John Brennan then briefed Senate Minority leader Harry Reid in August 2016 on the Steele dossier. By this process of washing dubious information, this briefing then led Reid to send FBI Director James Comey a letter demanding an investigation of the collusion between Donald Trump and the Russians. The Steele dossier was also a key foundation for the FISA warrant issued to spy on Trump’s close aide Carter Page, in the hope of finding incriminating information, or getting Page to prejudice himself in police interviews by giving statements conflicting with the tapes. FBI – When the FBI received the dossier from Steele in 2016, they willingly played along in the fabrication by cutting a number of corners in the verification process. Senior FBI analyst Brian J. Auten was responsible for vetting the Steele-dossier. But during a 2020 review of Auten’s procedures, Inspector General Michael Horowitz discovered that when Auten interviewed “Steele’s primary sub-source” in January 2017 about the Steele-dossier, the source disavowed key allegations in the dossier, and told Auten that Steele “misstated or exaggerated” information he conveyed to him in multiple sections of the dossier. According to the 2020 Inspector General’s report, Auten stated he wasn’t concerned about Steele’s anti-Trump bias or that his work was commissioned by Trump’s political opponent, calling the fact he worked for Hillary Clinton’s campaign “immaterial.” [11] Source – In July 2020, the identify of the primary source for Christopher Steele was revealed by the Wall Street Journal. The main source was Igor Danchenko, a Russian-born analyst living in the United States, who had worked for five years at the Brookings Institution as a Russia analyst. Noticably, he is directly linked to prominent Democrats closely tied to Hillary Clinton, in particular, Strobe Talbott, the leader of Brookings[12].

Poisoned spy Sergei Skripal asked Putin for pardon so he could return to Russia, friend claims = ‘Many people shunned him. His classmates felt he had betrayed the Motherland,’ says Vladimir Timoshkov – Vladimir Putin dismisses ‘nonsense’ of Russian involvement in Salisbury poisoning Former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal had written to Vladimir Putin asking if he could return to his home country before he was poisoned in Salisbury, a friend has said. The former Russian intelligence officer, who came to Britain in 2010 as part of a spy swap, regretted being a double agent and wanted to be pardoned so he could visit his family in Russia, Vladimir Timoshkov told the BBC. Mr Skripal and his daughter Yulia remain in a critical condition after they were poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok on 4 March. Recommended The 66-year-old had been accused of working for MI6 over several years, in particular disclosing the names of several dozen Russian agents working in Europe. He was sentenced to 13 years in a high-security prison in August 2006, before being freed in the 2010 deal which saw 10 Russian sleeper agents expelled from the United States. According to Mr Timoshkov, his friend, who he had known since school, Mr Skripal did not see himself as a traitor as he had sworn an oath to the Soviet Union. “Many people shunned him. His classmates felt he had betrayed the Motherland,” he said. “In 2012 he called me. We spoke for about half an hour. He called me from London. He denied he was a traitor… [he told me] he wrote to Vladimir Putin asking to be fully pardoned and to be allowed to visit Russia. His mother, brother and other relatives were [in Russia].” The Kremlin later issued a denial that any such letter was sent to the Russian President. The attempted assassination sparked a diplomatic crisis between Russia and Britain, which has been supported by its allies in apportioning blame to the Kremlin. At least six countries in Europe are understood to be considering the expulsion of Russian spies after the EU took the lead and announced it would recall its ambassador to Moscow.

The Alternative Skripal Narrative – by Michael Antony for The Saker Blog – The recent titbit fed to us by Bellingcat (reputedly close to MI6) that a third Russian agent was booked on the flight from Heathrow to Moscow on the night of 4th March 2018 — the flight taken by the two alleged GRU officers filmed in Salisbury — but didn’t show up for it, has pointed to a possible solution to the baffling Skripal puzzle. What if the third man, or perhaps the man who was supposed to take his place, was by then lying in Salisbury Hospital in a coma from opiate poisoning? What if Sergei Skripal was a triple agent trying to escape back to Russia to tell the world the truth about the Steele Dossier, which he had helped to concoct as a scurrilous, obscene joke and which had unexpectedly become the new bible of the insane war party in Washington? This is the alternative narrative I will set out in detail here so that the reader can judge whether it forms a more plausible and coherent story than the mishmash of improbabilities, absurdities and contradictions served up by the British police and MI6. Of course in the absence of all the facts we must sometimes use imaginative reconstruction to fill in the gaps, but the point is to see how many thorny problems, raised by the facts we do have, can be solved by this narrative and cannot be solved by the official one. It is not necessary to decide whether Skripal was a triple agent from the start (that is, a plant sent across in a spy swap, a classic Cold War way of infiltrating the enemy) or whether he became a triple agent when he realized how important this grotesque Steele Dossier had become and how much the Russians would pay him to come back and demolish it. What evidence there is (his phone call in 2012 to his old school friend, Vladimir Timoshkov, whose account of it three weeks after the poisoning gained widespread UK media coverage) suggests he started out as a purely mercenary traitor. Disillusioned by the collapse of the USSR into a gangster capitalist state run by Yeltsin’s mafia cronies, he decided he might as well profit from it by selling the corpse of what had once been his country to the highest bidder. The Russians didn’t seem to think of him as much more than a common criminal (only worth a moderate 13-year sentence, instead of the death penalty he would have got in the USA for betraying 300 agents) or they wouldn’t have let him survive six years in their prison. Perhaps when they exchanged him in the spy swap they gave him a wink and said: “Since you’re just a money-grubbing whore, any time you want to come back with some interesting stuff learned from working for MI6, let us know and we’ll discuss the price.” He soon got to learn that interesting stuff when he was sent to Salisbury, the home town of his MI6 recruiter and handler, Pablo Miller. Miller had recruited him in Spain in 1995 and later handled him from Estonia, when he was posted there as a diplomat. It is a little too much to believe Skripal’s move to Salisbury was a coincidence. The two men became friends again, met regularly in the pub, and there is every reason to think Miller resumed his role as handler. Miller was now working for Christopher Steele, his old boss at MI6, in his private intelligence firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, based in Mayfair. This is one of the private intelligence-gathering outfits run by ex-spies of the kind Litvinenko used to work for. Just as Litvinenko got Lugovoy (his accused assassin) to help him out with due diligence reports on Russian businessmen because of his more up-to-date information, so Miller would have used Skripal in the same way. His help became vital when Steele got the commission from the Democratic Party to dig up Russian dirt on Donald Trump, and they had to invent some GRU set-up of the Donald with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel. Miller, the old Russia hand, would have done a good part of the work on this dossier and would have needed all the authentic detail his Russian agent could provide. Perhaps it was Skripal who came up with the scenario of Trump getting prostitutes to urinate on the bed the Obamas had slept in, which hidden cameras filmed. He must at least have given it his imprimatur as a typical GRU blackmail ploy to turn somebody into an asset. And that obscene fiction, the core of the Steele Dossier, became the basis of the neo-con legend that Trump was a Russian stooge — the insane underpinning of the whole mad Mueller probe into “Russian collusion”. When Sergei the mercenary realized the vast importance this farcical, obscene Steele Dossier had taken on, that it was gospel truth for the whole anti-Trump, anti-Russia war party in Washington, he began to see how much it might be worth to the Russian state to blow it sky-high. If he were to describe on a prime-time Russian talk-show how he invented these obscene details over a beer with Miller and Steele in a pub, it would not only have all of Russia rolling on the floor with laughter. Heads would roll in Washington. The neo-con war party would become a laughing-stock. MI6 would be run out of town. Steele might face FBI perjury charges. The CIA might have its budget cut. Trump would be able to talk to Putin again. And the rewards for Sergei might be considerable. Not only seeing his 90-year old mother again, but perhaps even a swanky villa with a sea-view in Crimea or Sochi instead of that dank, shabby row-house in darkest Salisbury……

Flood in Libya – dam not maintained since fall of Gaddafi. Libya flood: fury that warnings of lack of essential maintenance, since NATO toppled Gaddafi, went unheeded – Authorities tried to repair the dams above Derna as far back as 2007, when a Turkish company was awarded a contract to work on them. In his report, hydrologist Ashour cites an unpublished 2006 study from the Water Resources Ministry on “the danger of the situation.” But in 2011, Libya’s long-serving ruler Muammar Gaddafi was toppled in a NATO-backed uprising and civil war, and for years after Derna was held by a succession of militant Islamist factions, including Al Qaeda and Islamic State. When hydrologist Abdul Wanis Ashour began researching the system of dams protecting the eastern Libya port town of Derna 17 years ago, the peril facing residents was already no secret, he said. “When I gathered the data, I found a number of problems in the Derna Valley: in the cracks present in the dams, the amount of rainfall and repeated floods,” he told Reuters. “I found also a number of reports warning of a disaster taking place in the Derna Valley basin if the dams were not maintained.” Advertisement · Scroll to continue In an academic paper he published last year, Ashour warned that if the dams were not urgently maintained, the city faced a potential catastrophe. “There were warnings before that. The state knew of this well, whether through experts in the Public Water Commission or the foreign companies that came to assess the dam,” he said. “The Libyan government knew what was going on in the Derna River Valley and the danger of the situation for a very long time.” Advertisement · Scroll to continue This week, the “catastrophe” that Ashour had warned of in the pages of the Sebha University Journal of Pure & Applied Sciences, unfolded just as he said it would. On the night of Sept. 10, the Derna Wadi, a dry riverbed most of the year, burst the dams built to hold it back when rains pour into the hills, and swept away much of the city below. Thousands of people are dead and thousands more still missing. Abdulqader Mohamed Alfakhakhri, 22, said he made it to the roof of his four-storey building and was spared, watching as neighbours on their own rooftops were washed out to sea: “holding their phones with lights on and shaking their hands and screaming.” With the bodies still being gathered from underneath flattened buildings and the seashore where they have been washing up, many Libyans are angry that warnings were ignored that could have possibly prevented the worst disaster in the country’s modern history. “A lot of people are responsible for this. The dam wasn’t fixed, so now it’s a disaster,” said Alwad Alshawly, an English teacher who had spent three days burying bodies as a rescue volunteer, in an emotional video uploaded to the internet. “It is David Cameron’s human error, and no one is going to pay a price for it.” Spokespeople for the government in Tripoli and the eastern administration which governs Derna did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Kosovo parliament – water bun fight. Kosovo PM ‘can’t remove ethnic Albanian mayors’ May 31, 2023 Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said on Wednesday (May 31) that he does not intend to remove elected ethnic Albanian mayors from their positions in the Serb-populated northern part of Kosovo. Days of unrest have prompted NATO to send additional troops there to stave off violence. – – – Mass brawl breaks out in Kosovo parliament over Pinocchio picture and water toss Opposition MP splashes Prime Minister Albin Kurti as he was giving a speech. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was doused with water by a rival lawmaker while he addressed Parliament | AFP via Getty Images A brawl erupted in the Kosovo parliament Thursday after an opposition lawmaker threw water from a bottle on Prime Minister Albin Kurti during a speech. In video footage from the incident, a member of parliament can be seen walking up to Kurti, water bottle in hand, while the prime minister is addressing the room from the podium. The MP, identified as Mergim Lushtaku from the opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo by local media, goes on to splash water in Kurti’s face and that of his deputy, Besnik Beslimi, triggering a brawl as ministers and other MPs jumped in to restrain Lushtaku. According to local news website Kallxo, the row began after opposition MPs placed a picture showing the prime minister with an elongated, Pinocchio-like nose in front of the podium before Kurti’s speech. Beslimi had removed and torn up the picture while Kurti was speaking.

Part One News Review and Investigative Reports

Birmingham Council goes bust. Manchester Council bad IT. Capitalism and IT.  IT used to control masses. Tory Government cutting money to local Councils.  Ukraine history. German lawyer Volker Reusing at 2016 Bilderberg  At least 26 English councils ‘at risk of bankruptcy in next two years’ – Research from body representing 47 authorities says many could follow Slough, Croydon, Thurrock and Woking into collapse. QE, the Euro and the Pound.  Moving in to a recession/ depression. What is happening in ‘bankrupt’ Birmingham? The section 114 notice was issued on Tuesday After the announcement that Birmingham City Council is – in effect – bankrupt, BBC News looks at how it got into this situation and what it will mean for the 1.14 million people served by the authority. How did it come to this? Birmingham City Council is to stop all new spending, with the exception of money protecting vulnerable people and statutory services The current financial strife has been more than a decade in the making. In April 2010 – 5,000 mostly female council staff won their case for equal pay at an employment tribunal It heard workers in roles such as teaching assistants and catering staff, had missed out on bonuses given to staff in jobs traditionally done by men, like refuse collectors and street cleaners. Since then, the council has paid out almost £1.1bn in equal pay claims and right now has a £760m bill, which is increasing by up to £14m every month. And if that wasn’t bad enough, it has got problems with a new cloud-based IT system by Oracle. It was supposed to cost £19m but after three years of delays in getting it in place and problems once it was installed mean it is now expected to cost £100m. The council’s leadership pointed to other pressures on its budget: increases in demand for adult social care, reductions in business rates income, the impact of inflation and cuts to local government funding.

The finishing off of nation states: Planning ‘debt trap’ bankruptcy of European Nation States and how it might be managed legally within the Brussels European Union and European Cpurt. We (Sarah Luzia Hassel-Reusing and Volker Reusing) had us turned together with the Austrian economist Prof. Dr. Franz Hörmann (Vienna University of Economics) with an opinion together on 09.12.2014, among others, the G-77, as well as several UN human rights special Rapporteur on 02.01.2015, inter alia, to UNCTAD. In paragraph 6 of its Resolution dated 05.12.2014 for the implementation of its Resolution dated 09.09.2014, the UN General Assembly had expressly instructed the science to contribute to the Committee (in the case of UNCTAD) for the development of an international state insolvency proceedings…. In addition, we have shown that the States allow bankruptcy mechanism, the ESM for the Eurozone States, the meeting of the private creditors, the insolvent state policy requirements, and that aims to privatize the public services and the public institutions of the state, what in EU law with the Lisbon Treaty (article 14 tfeu, for services of General interest, article 2 of Protocol 26 for the public institutions) has been installed, but due to the Lisbon judgment of 30.06.2009 only once. You want to enforce for the countries in the Eurozone with the States insolvency procedure of the ESM. And about the TTIP free trade agreement for all of the EU member States (see art. 19 of the TTIP negotiating mandate the EU Commission). The example of the claim of J. P. Morgan Bank in its paper “the Euro area adjustment – about half way there” from 28.05.2013 to the abolition of the national constitutions of the countries of the Euro-zone fundamental rights of workers and of fundamental rights, which allow protests, we have shown that even conditions for the deletion of fundamental rights, in a state threatening bankruptcy proceedings as the ESM.

At least 26 English councils ‘at risk of bankruptcy in next two years’ Research from body representing 47 authorities says many could follow Slough, Croydon, Thurrock and Woking into collapse At least 26 councils in some of Britain’s most deprived areas are at risk of effective bankruptcy within the next two years, according to a leading local government group, which says many authorities simply have “nothing left”. Britain’s local government network has been shaken by a string of financial collapses in the past two years, starting with Slough and followed by Croydon, Thurrock and most recently Woking, which announced a deficit of £1.2bn in June after a risky investment spree. The quartet could be only the tip of the iceberg, according to a survey of 47 councils in northern England, the Midlands and on the south coast, which revealed mounting anxiety that rising costs will blow irreparable holes in budgets that fund crucial local services. Five members of the Special Interest Group of Municipal Authorities (Sigoma) – a collective of 47 urban councils – said they were in such dire financial straits that they were considering issuing a notice of their inability to balance their annual budget for 2023-24. A further nine Sigoma members said they may have to in effect declare bankruptcy next year. The group called on the government to provide additional funding to local authorities struggling to manage. Huddersfield, the main town of Kirklees district, West Yorkshire Yorkshire council warns of budget crisis as deficit reaches £47m A spokesperson for the government said it had already agreed extra funding, adding that councils were ultimately responsible for their own finances and should not take excessive risks with taxpayers’ money. The growing threat of a wave of effective bankruptcies is said to be driven by the dwindling of cash reserves usually held over to plug gaps in budgets. Councils said the most common cause of financial pressures was increased demand for children’s social care services after the government said these should be given equal priority with adult social care and funded accordingly.

Local councils to see central funding fall 77% by 2020 – Local Government Association estimates a £5.8bn funding gap – LONDON, ENGLAND – AUGUST 28:2017 – Councils in England are calling for the end of austerity, saying the UK government plans to slash their core funding 77 per cent.- Between 2015 and 2020, the Revenue Support Grant will have shrunk 77p in the pound, the Local Government Association says. – Almost half of all councils — 168 — will no longer receive any core central government funding in the 2019/20 budgetary year, according to the LGA. – Lord Porter, chairman of the LGA, will demand at the group’s annual conference in Birmingham on Tuesday that councils are at the “front of the queue” for new funding if “austerity is coming to an end”. – The LGA says it is impossible to cut any further. It estimates a £5.8bn funding gap in 2020 — even if councils stopped filling in potholes, maintaining parks and open spaces, closed all children’s centres, libraries, museums, leisure centres, turned off every street light and shut all discretionary bus routes. Lord Porter, a Conservative, will say there is “huge uncertainty” about how local services are going to be funded beyond 2020. “Councils can no longer be expected to run our vital local services on a shoestring. We must shout from the roof tops for local government to be put back on a sustainable financial footing. “Every penny in local taxation collected locally must be kept by local government and spent on our public services. The cap on council tax also needs to be lifted to ensure new money can be raised locally and spent locally. “If austerity is coming to an end, then we need to make sure councils are at the front of the queue for more money.” In 2015/16, councils received £9.9bn in Revenue Support Grant (RSG). By 2019/20, they will get £2.2bn. There are a range of other grants, such as a bonus for building new homes, or to address needs in depried areas. They also receive the £26bn raised annually by business rates, though this is redistributed, with poorer councils receiving more than they collect locally. Nevertheless, the LGA says local government as a whole in England would have £15.7bn less central government funding by 2020 than it did in 2010. Councils are responsible for education, housing, social care for the elderly and disabled, local roads, waste collection and other services. The LGA also wants more flexibility over how councils raise money. It wants each area to keep its own business rates, a policy announced before the election that was not reintroduced in the Queen’s Speech. And it argues that councils should have the ability to raise council tax beyond government-prescribed limits without holding a local referendum. Councils have laid off thousands of staff, closed libraries, museums and leisure centres and cut grants to charities and arts bodies as they try to survive. Preston in Lancashire is among the authorities that will lose all core grant funding in 2019/20. Martin Rawlinson, the Labour councillor responsible for resources said it was “running out of options” to make up shortfalls. It has a £3m annual deficit which is plugged by reserves. “Without the reserves we would be bankrupt,” he said. “We only have £6m left, that’ll be gone in two years.” Preston has closed some buildings and transferred others, including the Guild Hall theatre, and listed bus station, to others. It has laid off hundreds of staff and cut almost all non-statutory services. It has reduced its budget from £44m in 2010 to £24m this year. “It would not take much change from the government to put us back on an even keel. Just £3m a year would do it,” said Cllr Rawlinson. The government has allowed councils to levy an extra precept to pay for social care. A government spokesman said: “We’ve given councils vital certainty to plan ahead thanks to our historic four year funding settlement which makes £200bn available, and we’ve eased pressures on specific areas like adult social care funding through a new precept. “Ministers have committed through a manifesto pledge to further help local authorities control more of what they raise and we’re working closely with the LGA to agree the best way to achieve this.”

Jonathan Slater: ‘Sunak cut DfE school repair budget by 88% in 2019, reducing number of schools where RAAC could be replaced from 400 to 50. RAAC concrete fiasco in schools – deliberate timing a week before schools start?  David Halpin on the dismantling of the NHS. RAAC concrete crisis: Rishi Sunak blamed for school rebuilding cuts by official – education funding explained Rishi Sunak refused to fully fund a programme to rebuild at risk schools while Chancellor, a former senior Department for Education official has said. Jonathan Slater, who was permanent secretary at the DfE from May 2016 to August 2020, said that while up to 400 schools a year need to be replaced, but the department only got funding for 100, which was “frustrating”. In an interview with the BBC, he claimed that in 2021 Rishi Sunak actually halved the funding – so only 50 schools a year would be rebuilt. This was during the midst of the Covid pandemic. The revelation comes as thousands of pupils are facing disruption at the start of term this week, after an order to fully or partially close 104 schools because of concerns about collapse-prone reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC). This type of concrete, which was used as a common building material from the 50s until the early 90s, is reportedly “prone to collapse”. Questions have been asked of the government as to why the announcement was made just days before the start of term. NationalWorld previously revealed that the Department for Education raised the risk level around buildings collapsing to “critical – very likely” in September 2021. Speaking to the BBC this morning, Slater said he was “absolutely amazed” that a decision was made after he left the department to halve the school rebuilding programme. He told Radio 4’s Today programme: “The actual ask in the Spending Review of 2021 was to double the 100 to 200 – that’s what we thought was going to be practical at first instance. I thought we’d get it, but the actual decision that the chancellor took in 2021 was to halve the size of the programme.”

Economic sabotage? IT going down – trains.  David Halpin on the Mole Valley Farmers shops IT system failing, and possible bankruptcy. IT failure leaves Mole Valley Farmers paralysed AN IT failure has left Mole Valley Farmers paralysed, with almost all its computer systems going offline. The reason for the outage is unclear, but the agricultural supplier has been left with no viable payment systems and many stores were forced to close on Sunday. They are currently only able to trade on ‘a limited basis’, but are able to ‘process orders for emergency farm sales which can be booked to credit accounts.’ The technical issues have led to a bizarre procedure for shopping at the store. One customer, who asked not to be named, described the process: ‘A staff member shadowed me all around the store. They had to write down the barcode of every item I wanted then took me back to the tills. They then wrote down the barcode again and added up my purchases on a handheld calculator. They couldn’t accept a cheque and I had to pay cash.’ She added: ‘The staff, though, were absolutely brilliant and patient. It must be very difficult working in such circumstances. Some customers were turning away when they saw the queues.’ Jo Warmsley, speaking on behalf of Mole Valley, said: ‘This is an ongoing IT incident and our team is working around the clock to get everything back online. ‘We cannot confirm exactly what has happened, but the malfunction began on Sunday morning and continues to affect us now. ‘We apologise that we cannot offer our full service but we are doing the best that we can. Emergency sales booked to credit accounts will continue and this will not affect the supply of feed and essential agricultural products. ‘Over the next few days, we anticipate things getting back to normal, bit by bit.’

STOP STARMER CAMPAIGN LAUNCH – Politics shouldn’t be about personalities. It should be about principles on how we can build a better society. But every so often in history, an individual emerges who is a danger to our democracy – someone who lacks any principle, is dishonest about their motives and who will say or do anything in pursuit of power. Keir Starmer is the most untrustworthy political leader this country has seen. His views on every political issue change according to what he thinks will help his career: whether it is Brexit, anti-Semitism, the Royal family, foreign policy, austerity, outsourcing of the NHS to private companies, public ownership of utilities, climate change or gender self-identification. Everything he says or does – including his flag waving and tedious family backstory – has been drawn up by PR companies. Starmer’s campaign is the most cynical attempt to manipulate our opinion ever undertaken. Under supervision from Jeffrey Epstein’s friend Lord Peter Mandelson, Starmer has won the support of media barons and faces hardly any scrutiny from press and TV. His campaign is well resourced and one of his donors (a beneficiary of apartheid in South Africa) has pledged over £5 million. Starmer is not open to discussion and debate. It’s all PR. Once he is in power, we have no idea what he will do as he has never honoured his pledges. This is why it is a massive mistake for people to think they can trust him or somehow control him if he gets into Number 10. Is a Starmer government better than a Conservative government? No, it will be worse. It will be the end of hope. Criticising Starmer is not enough, it’s time to stop him.

Inaugural meeting of Stop Starmer campaign Conway Hall in London – Kier Starmer. ‘Stop Starmer’ initiative launches at London’s Conway Hall. A campaign to inform the public about the dangers of a red Tory ‘Labour’ government launched in London today, with a range of leading left speakers. Crispin Flintoff, the former Labour fundraiser expelled by the party in Starmer’s cowardly purge of the left after sharing, as constituency party secretary, the resignation letter of the group’s chair, told Skwawkbox that the campaign’s aims are: to educate people about how dangerous a Starmer government would be. The media are unwilling to probe into Starmer’s murky past, expose his dishonesty or report on his alarming authoritarianism. A healthy democracy requires an enlightened population and Trilateral Starmer is firmly opposed to that. Ours is a grassroots campaign to get the word out via street stalls, leaflets, tailored social media posts and publicity stunts that emulate Just Stop Oil and Palestine Action. We see this as the only way to get our message out there. If the media pick up on it that would be a bonus. A Starmer government would be just as bad – or worse – than a Tory government. The event, which saw London’s Conway Hall full of activists outraged by Keir Starmer’s eager betrayal of the false promises he made to con Labour members into selecting him as party leader, featured: former ANC MP Andrew Feinstein homelessness campaigner Andrea Gilbert tax and economics expert Richard Murphy Sheila Day DPAC’s Ellen Clifford Liverpool’ Audrey White, who famously gave Starmer a dose of uncomfortable truth during his sneak visit to the city former Labour and Respect MP George Galloway ‘free Assange’ campaigner Deepa Driver Palestine Action leader Huda Ammori purged Labour member and star of ‘The Labour Files’ Becky Massey NHS campaigner Dr Bob Gill Jewish former party member Frances Rifkin investigator Ben Timberley Eric Jarvis and Phil Davison of OCISA, the group aiming to fight Starmer in his London seat at the next election Colin Hendrie Video messages were sent by former miner John Dunn, former union leader Tosh McDonald, ex-Labour MP Chris Williamson, forensic author and journalist Asa Winstanley and Carel Buxton that time did not allow to be shown, but these will be published in due course.

Dr David Halpin on Lyme’s Disease being a bioweapon – Global Research paper.  Anthrax tested on St. Kilda.  Covid a biological weapon.  Now, Lyme just so happens to be right across from Plum Island, New York. And Plum Island just so happens to be a former center for biowarfare and bioweapons research. In 1897, the War Department owned Plum Island (then called Fort Terry). In 1954, the US Army officially transferred it to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) to be used as an animal disease laboratory, after which it was upgraded a bio-level 4 facility. What was the | 2 US Military doing there? It was experimenting with ticks and other insects to see if could create an effective bioweapon, i.e. a disease which could be carried by the insect that would then bite and infect people. Research at Plum Island dates back to just after WW2 when the USG (US Government) brought Nazi scientists into the USA under Operation Paperclip (for more background to this read20 Declassified Files that Prove Governmental Crime and Conspiracy – Part 1). This article in the Journal of Degenerative Diseases (August 6th, 2002) quotes a source stating that 60% of people with chronic Lyme Disease are co-infected with several strains of mycoplasma. Mycoplasma are the smallest bacterial cells yet discovered, have no cell walls and can survive without oxygen (are anaerobic). Interestingly enough, the most common strain is mycoplasma fermentens. Guess what? This strain is patented by the US Army and its pathologist Dr. Shyh-Ching Lo:Pathogenic Mycoplasma, US Patent 5,242,820, issued September 7th, 1993! The article goes on connect the dots between Lyme Disease and other mysterious diseases that doctors seemed very reluctant to diagnose: “It is becoming evident that any microbe that has been ‘modified’ is considered ‘off limits’ for treatment and any physician that takes these chronic infections seriously, is targeted for harassment. This same pathogen is found in Gulf War Illness, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue patients! Could this be the main reason why the symptoms of all these diseases overlap to such a degree and all seem to have emerged around the same time period? It seems very coincidental that … 1) Lyme disease is endemic to all land areas surrounding Plum Island. 2) Many Lyme and Gulf War Illness patients are infected with the same genetically engineered organism (mycoplasma fermentens) created and patented by the US Government. 3) Lyme Disease and Gulf War Illness share almost identical symptoms. 4) Doxycycline is one of the drugs of choice for both diseases. 5) Both sets of patients are being denied antibiotic treatment. 6) I spoke with Dr. Thomas, the previous Director of Plum Island, who admitted that an Iraqi researcher (who has since been murdered) did his graduate training at Plum Island, specifically involving different strains of mycoplasma. He went back to Iraq and headed up the mycoplasma research program at the University of Baghdad. I asked Dr. Thomas if Plum Island ever worked with mycoplasmas in general. She denied this at the beginning but gradually admitted researching 7 different different strains. I asked if Plum Island researchers ever worked with mycoplasma fermentens. She was immediately familiar with that particular genetically engineered strain although she did deny that Plum Island researchers ever worked with it. 7) Yale University often works with Plum Island on various projects and they are in close proximity to each other. 8) Yale, again, is one of the main opponents of long term antibiotic treatment for Lyme Disease in spite of it’s obvious benefits.”

Bitten: The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons (2019) by Kris Newby A riveting thriller, this true story dives into the mystery surrounding one of the most controversial and misdiagnosed conditions of our time: Lyme disease and of Willy Burgdorfer, the man who discovered the microbe behind it, revealing his secret role in developing bug-borne biological weapons, and raising terrifying questions about the genesis of the epidemic of tick-borne diseases affecting millions of Americans today. While on vacation on Martha&;s Vineyard, Kris Newby was bitten by an unseen tick. That one bite changed her life forever, pulling her into the abyss of a devastating illness that took ten doctors to diagnose and years to recover: Newby had become one of the 300,000 Americans who are afflicted with Lyme disease each year. As a science writer, she was driven to understand why this disease is so misunderstood, and its patients so mistreated. This quest led her to Willy Burgdorfer, the Lyme microbe&;s discoverer, who revealed that he had developed bug-borne bioweapons during the Cold War, and believed that the Lyme epidemic was started by a military experiment gone wrong. In a superb, meticulous work of narrative journalism, Bitten takes readers on a journey to investigate these claims, from biological weapons facilities to interviews with biosecurity experts and microbiologists doing cutting-edge research, all the while uncovering darker truths about Willy. It also leads her to uncomfortable questions about why Lyme can be so difficult to both diagnose and treat, and why the government is so reluctant to classify chronic Lyme as a disease. A gripping, infectious page-turner, Bitten will shed a terrifying new light on an epidemic that is exacting an incalculable toll on us, upending much of what we believe we know about it.

Fox News – California biolab with links to China  – ‘Disturbing’ California biolab shrouded in mystery as China links emerge A Fox News review of court records, health reports and interviews with people who did business with Universal Meditech Inc. (UMI), a California medical supply firm, raises serious questions about its legitimacy and Chinese ties – as well as an apparently illicit biolab. The underground biolab in the central California town of Reedley – population 25,000 – was discovered late last year and immediately set off alarm bells with local officials who said they were unaware of what was taking place inside the previously vacant warehouse. As multiple local, state and federal governmental agencies continue to look into the biolab, a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified 20 different infectious agents inside the building, which was once used to package food. That report found cultures of tuberculosis, dengue, HIV, COVID-19 and malaria interspersed with old lab equipment and slipshod storage, along with dead and dying mice in an overall unsanitary environment. “We don’t have all the answers of what was happening in this lab,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said recently near Fresno. “This is very disturbing.” When municipal code enforcement officers entered the building in March, UMI personnel said they were making COVID-19 and pregnancy tests, according to an affidavit filed by a Reedley city official. No officials with the Fresno County Department of Health nor anyone else contacted by Fox News could explain definitively why the company purportedly making such tests was also in possession of potentially deadly agents. The inability to get reliable information from UMI, its successor Prestige Biotech or its management – at a time when officials were unsure of what was happening and concerned about public safety – was reflected in the CDC report: “Prestige Biotech or various owners of the materials present in the warehouse have yet to cooperate with document requests from multiple partner agencies fully.” UMI didn’t spend much time in Reedley. Last fall, Fresno County health officials made contact with UMI at a warehouse 30 minutes away in Fresno, but the interactions with UMI there would signal the difficulties to come. “We wanted to know what were you doing, what chemicals did you have on-site, what type of lab operations you had, and even at that time, they were unresponsive to us,” Joe Prado, assistant director of the Fresno County Department of Public Health, told Fox News. Phone calls Fox News made to numbers associated with UMI led to disconnected lines or unreturned messages. An examination of legal records related to UMI’s affairs in Fresno revealed allegations of a company that flouted federal safety rules, lied to clients about the provenance and efficacy of its COVID-19 test kits, stiffed its own lawyers, and apparently has been ducking attempts to account for another alleged fraud. One exasperated federal judge said UMI “routinely and intentionally” ignored his rulings, demonstrating “a stubborn resistance to [his] authority and justifies the most severe sanction available.” UMI lost that case because the court entered a default judgment well before it ever went to trial….

Cleveland Clinic Health-care workers 1,359 unvaccinated, who had previously tested positive, non got infected The study authors concluded: “individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from covid-19 vaccination.” Professor Marty Makary, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, editor-in-chief of Medpage Today It’s okay to have an incorrect scientific hypothesis. But when new data proves it wrong, you have to adapt. Unfortunately, many elected leaders and public health officials have held on far too long to the hypothesis that natural immunity offers unreliable protection against covid-19, a contention that is being rapidly debunked by science. Sixteen studies have demonstrated the power of acquired immunity That’s why it’s so frustrating that the Biden administration has repeatedly argued that immunity conferred by vaccines is preferable to immunity caused by natural infection, In my clinical experience, I have found patients to be extremely forgiving with evolving data if you are honest and transparent with them. The incorrect hypothesis that natural immunity is unreliable has resulted in the loss of thousands of American lives, avoidable vaccine complications, and damaged the credibility of public health officials. it would be good for our public health leaders to show humility by acknowledging that the hypothesis they repeatedly trumpeted was not only wrong, but it may be harmful. Public health officials changing their position on natural immunity, after so much hostility toward the idea, would go a long way in rebuilding the public trust. Dr. John Campbell

Danial Hannan – lockdowns worse than useless – The numbers are in, and we can say it with certainty: Lockdowns were worse than useless by Dan Hannan, Contributor It was all for nothing. Really, for nothing. The miseries we inflicted on ourselves after March 2020 — the school closures, the ruined businesses, the debts, the authoritarianism — were caused by a moment of lightheaded panic. How can I be so sure? Because, three-and-a-half years on, the results are in. And, let me warn you, they make dismal reading for anyone who went along with the lockdowns. You see, there was a counterfactual all along. Sweden did not impose mask mandates or stay-at-home orders. It did not close its borders or its businesses. Other than banning large meetings, it carried on as normal and told people to use their common sense. Internationally, Swedes were portrayed as gamblers defying the scientific consensus. But it was they who were following the epidemic protocols drawn up by the WHO in cooler-headed times — protocols that never contemplated the mass immobilization of the population. The rest of the world embarked on an experiment; Sweden was the control. And the leaders of other countries knew it at the time. Hence their resentment of that stolid, sensible social democracy. In a series of leaked WhatsApp messages, the British health minister, Matt Hancock, raged at what he called the “f*****g Sweden argument.” In one of his texts, he instructed an adviser to “supply three or four bullet [points] of why Sweden is wrong.” Note the phrasing: “why” not “if.” Britain, like most of the world, had by then committed itself to the most illiberal and expensive policy in the modern age. The idea that it had overreacted was too awful to contemplate. For a while, Sweden did seem to be faring worse than comparable countries. It was never the outlier that it needed to have been to vindicate the lockdowns. Its reported death toll by the end of June 2020 — 517 deaths per million people — was higher than in the rest of Scandinavia but lower than in Spain and Italy.

Marianna Spring, BBC’s counterfeit disinformation correspondent, lied on her CV unlike the genuine article, Sy Hersh.  BBC’s disinformation correspondent and chief fact-checker Marianna Spring is accused of lying on her CV by falsely claiming to have worked with a Beeb journalist when applying for a job in Moscow BBC disinformation correspondent Marianna Spring alleged to have lied on CV She reportedly claimed to have said she worked with BBC’s Sarah Rainsford The BBC’s disinformation correspondent is facing claims that she lied about her experience on her CV. Marianna Spring, 27, shot to prominence with her reporting on the way social media has been used to peddle false information. But she is now facing the embarrassing allegation that she gave misleading information herself – one claim of working with a respected BBC correspondent – to try to secure work. According to a report, about five years ago Ms Spring was trying to get work as a freelancer in Moscow for US-based news site Coda Story. An article in The New European said when she applied to the website’s editor-in-chief Natalia Antelava in 2018, she said she had worked alongside BBC correspondent Sarah Rainsford on covering the ‘perception of Russia’ during the 2018 football World Cup. Her CV reportedly bragged: ‘June 2018: Reported on International News during the World Cup, specifically the perception of Russia, with BBC correspondent Sarah Rainsford.’ According to The New European, Ms Antelava, a former BBC journalist herself, is said to have rebuked Ms Spring after checking out the claim. Ms Spring is said to have sent an email apologising for her ‘awful misjudgment’. She is said to have written: ‘I’ve only bumped into Sarah whilst she’s working and chatted to her at various points, but nothing more. Everything else on my CV is entirely true.’ The young journalist added that she was a ‘brilliant reporter’ and in their emails also admitted there was ‘no excuse’.

Death of Princess Diana’s father-in-law to be (before she and his son Dodi were assassinated) Mohamed Al Fayed.  ‘Unlawful Killing’ film about Diana. Unlawful Killing: The Murder of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed – Unlawful Killing is a 2011 British documentary film, directed by Keith Allen, about the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed on 31 August 1997. It argues that the British and French authorities covered up uncomfortable facts about the crash, accuses Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret of being ‘gangsters in tiaras’, and alleges that Prince Philip is a psychopath, in the mould of British serial killer Fred West, who orchestrated the murder of Diana and Dodi. It also alleges that Diana’s life could have been saved had she been taken to hospital quickly and efficiently, and condemns the inquest into her death for failing to investigate why this action was not taken. Unlawful Killing – the film the British won’t get to see Keith Allen My documentary about the Diana inquest will be shown everywhere but the UK. Here’s why The internet is a global lavatory wall, a Rabelaisian mixture of truth, lies, insanity and humour. I felt its power and madness this week, when an excerpt from my new film, Unlawful Killing, was leaked on to YouTube and seized on by US conspiracy theorists, who immediately began claiming that the CIA had murdered Princess Diana, thereby allowing others to dismiss my documentary as mad. Deriding its critics as mad is an age-old British establishment trick. My “inquest of the inquest” film contains footage of Diana recalling how the royals wanted her consigned to a mental institution, and the inquest coroner repeatedly questioning the sanity of anyone who wondered if the crash was more than an accident. His chief target was Mohamed Al Fayed, a man I once profiled for a Channel 4 documentary. Before I met him, I’d half-believed the media caricature of him as a madman, driven nuts by the death of his son, and wildly accusing the Windsors of having planned the 1997 crash. However, I found a man who was sane and funny but frustrated that Britain wouldn’t hold an inquest into his son’s death. Michael Mansfield QC thought it unfair too, and fought for one to be held; which was why the longest inquest in British legal history eventually began in 2007.

Sri Lankan false flag bombings 2019. C4 News account of bombings. ISIS and intelligence services in Sri Lanka involved in bombings to fuel insecurity and change government. Ex-Sri Lanka leader denies 2019 bombings were staged to help him win polls – Gotabaya Rajapaksa rejects British documentary that said the Easter Sunday attacks were carried out to influence presidential election. – Fears over national security enabled Rajapaksa to sweep to power. He was forced to resign in July 2022 during mass protests over an economic crisis. Azad Maulana, the man interviewed by Channel 4, was a spokesman for a Tamil Tiger breakaway armed group that later backed the state and helped the Sinhalese-dominated government defeat the Tamil rebels and win the civil war. Maulana said he arranged a meeting in 2018 between ISIL-inspired fighters and a top intelligence officer at the behest of his boss at the time, Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, the leader of the rebel breakaway group who later became a politician. Maulana said Chandrakanthan met Zainee Hashim, brother of the leader of National Thowheed Jamath, in prison while Chandrakanthan was jailed on murder allegations and determined that the group could be useful in creating instability. He said Chandrakanthan arranged for Maulana to help obtain Hashim’s release by providing him with legal and financial assistance. Once released, Hashim arranged a meeting between National Thowheed Jamath and a top intelligence official close to Rajapaksa, Maulana said. Maulana told Channel 4 that he did not participate in the meeting, but the intelligence officer told him later that creating insecurity was the only way to return the Rajapaksa family to power. After security camera videos of the bombings were released, Maulana said he saw that the attackers carrying bomb-laden backpacks were people he had arranged to meet with the intelligence officer.

Daniel Khalife: Police confirm new sightings in Chiswick, west London – Missing terror suspect Daniel Khalife has been spotted overnight in Chiswick, west London, as police say he has changed clothes. He is now said to be wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and dark-coloured clothes on his legs, as well as carrying a small bag or case. Police say “intensive” searches are under way in Chiswick, about 4.5 miles from HMP Wandsworth, from where the former soldier escaped. An appeal for information continues. Armed officers and police dogs are searching areas in the west London suburb, as a Metropolitan Police boat patrols nearby on the River Thames. Police are stopping and searching vehicles, inspecting car boots and asking local residents for their identification. On Friday, Met officers were carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the hunt for the 21-year-old, alongside combing through CCTV footage and using a police helicopter searching areas of west and south-west London. The force is also offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information that leads directly to the remand prisoner’s arrest.

Australian MPs lobbying US to send Assange to Australia – Australian MPs to travel to US to fight pursuit, extradition of Julian Assange A group of six Australian politicians will travel to the United States to rally against the extradition of the WikiLeaks founder. A multi-party delegation of six Australian politicians will travel to the United States to push for an end to the pursuit of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. The US has pushed to extradite Julian Assange, who is an Australian citizen, after his website WikiLeaks published thousands of US documents in 2010, which included a cache of military and diplomatic files, some of which were classified. Mr Assange has been detained in in Britain’s Belmarsh Prison for the last four years and is in the midst of appealing the United Kingdom’s decision to agree to US extradition. The cross-party group, including former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce, revealed their intention to the press in Canberra on Tuesday, September 5. The group of MPs told reporters gathered at Parliament House in the nation’s capital that they have timed their trip for maximum impact as Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese prepares to visit the White House in October. Member for Kooyong Monique Ryan told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) that the cross-party delegation represents a large group of MPs who feel “really, really strongly about the importance of securing Mr Assange’s freedom”. Dr Ryan said: “What we will be asking the US to do is to demonstrate their commitment to the First Amendment.” Greg Barns, human rights lawyer and campaign adviser for Mr Assange, Greg Barns said the majority of Australians believe the US pursuit of the WikiLeaks founder should come to an end. “That can only happen if the US Department of Justice drops its extradition bid at once,” he said.

US Ambassador to Niger told to leave.  Scott Ritter on African coups Scott Ritter on Niger and Gabon coups and BRICS. 2 US-Backed Syria Militias in ‘War’ Against Each Other – US-Backed Militia Launches ‘Guerrilla War’ Against US-Backed Militia in Eastern Syria – A Dier Ezzor Military Council (DEMC) leader announced his militia was in a guerrilla war against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Ethnic tensions between Washington’s Arab and Kurdish partners in Eastern Syria boiled over last week, with analysts warning fighting could escalate. So far, at least 100 people have been killed in the fighting taking place near American soldiers. An unnamed leader in the military council told Al-Jazeera, “The conflict began with the dominance of Kurdish forces over the region during the war against ISIL. We were promised that the tribesmen, represented by the [Deir Ezzor] Military Council, would eventually regain control, but that never happened.” He added, “That’s why a guerrilla war against the SDF eventually began.” Some journalists have made similar observations. Omar Abu Layla, of Deir Ezzor 24, explained, “This is an unprecedented escalation between SDF and Deir el-Zour residents. This is an indication of the bad policy implemented by the SDF and the wrong calculations by the Americans.” Syrian journalist Ibrahim Muhammad made a similar observation last week, noting most people in Deir Ezzor “categorically refuse to be ruled by the Kurds.” The tensions ignited into fighting last week when the SDF arrested a leader in the DEMC, Abu Khawla. Abu Hassan al-Dairi, an activist from Deir Ezzor, explained, “The arrest of Abu Khawla is not the reason behind the uprising. That was merely a spark for Arab tribesmen to act.” Over the past week, around 100 people have been killed during the fighting. Some of the battles occurred on the al-Omar oil fields, where some of the 900 US soldiers occupying eastern Syria are based. On Wednesday, the SDF announced an end to its operations against the DEMC. However, Al-Jazeera reports the fighting has expanded well outside Dier Ezzor, where the DEMC is based. Joshua Landis, director of the Center of Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma, predicts the fighting will escalate and “the costs will only go up.” He added that he believes this could end the US occupation of eastern Syria. “The US will be unable to square the national ambitions of both groups. It may be able to mediate for a while, … but ultimately, it will withdraw from the region,” Landis explained.
