Bristol’s claim to fame this week First city in the UK to go down to MONTHLY bin collections

Amal Ali, ex Labour Councillor, on the proposed monthly bin collection for Bristol. Matt Saunders saying bus signs in Bristol legally too small, so fines invalid. Fury at plan to restrict to bin collections to once a MONTH as part of green plan ‘to boost recycling’ A Green-run council could become the first in England to move to monthly bin collections. Bristol City Council today launched a consultation on collecting non-recyclable waste from residents only every three or four weeks. It is hoped this will encourage a boost in recycling rates, while the council claimed moving to a monthly collection would cut costs by around £2.3million. But local residents have attacked the ‘bonkers’ plans and warned they will lead to an increase in fly-tipping. Opposition councillors also demanded a focus on improving the existing bin collection service, before pushing ahead with the plans. In their justification of the move, Bristol City Council pointed to the looming imposition of a carbon tax on the disposal of waste. They said moving to a monthly bin collection would avoid nearly £1.5million of future carbon tax costs, while a collection every three weeks would save nearly £1million. An increasing number of councils across Britain have already moved to three-weekly collections for general waste, with many also citing the need to cut carbon emissions. If Bristol City Council pushes ahead with its four-weekly plan, it will spark fears that other cash-strapped local authorities might also be encouraged to implement monthly waste collections. The council’s deputy leader, Green Party councillor Heather Mack, told the BBC: ‘There’s due to be a tax on the residual waste we send to be processed, for the carbon in that. ‘So we really need to consider how much we’re sending and where else could it go. ‘We would also offer larger bins for larger households, and an extra collection for people with sanitary products or nappies, so we don’t want people to unduly struggle with this.’ Under the plans, Bristol City Council said food waste and recycling would be collected once a week, but non-recyclable waste would only be collected once every three or four weeks. The public consultation on the potential changes will run until 10 March. The council said the city currently recycles around 45 per cent of household waste, but warned the rate is dropping. The proposed changes would ‘put us on a path to meet a national target of recycling 65 per cent of our city’s waste by 2035’, the council added. Tom Renhard, leader of the Labour group on Bristol City Council, said: ‘There needs to be a focus on sorting out the existing service. ‘I’m getting an increasing number of complaints from local residents across the city that recycling isn’t being collected and black bins aren’t being collected on [the current] two-weekly basis. ‘Some of my residents haven’t had a recycling collection this side of Christmas. ‘You’re also starting to see that if residents’ recycling isn’t getting collected and it’s piling up, they’re going to put it in the bin, which isn’t going to help recycling rates.’

Black Magic trial in Scotland – Members of Glasgow paedophile gang guilty of running ‘monstrous’ child sex abuse ring – In what the NSPCC called one of the worst cases in recent decades, the trial was told primary school-aged children were plied with alcohol and cocaine while being subjected to a campaign of sexual depravity, including group rapes, at various properties. The jury was told one of the child victims said: “Two witches holded [sic] my legs down, it felt uncomfortable, all the witches and wizards were watching.” It was also alleged that a Ouija board was used to “call on spirits and demons” causing the children to “believe that they could see, hear and communicate with spirits and demons”. Girl ‘raped while satanic child abuse ring that held seances and used ouija boards clapped & cheered’ GUILTY: Iain Owens, 45, Elaine Lannery, 39, Lesley Williams, 41, Paul Brannan, 41, Marianne Gallagher, 38, Scott Forbes, 50, Barry Watson, 47, Mark Carr, 49, Richard Gachagan, 45, Leona Laing, 50, and John Clark, 46, deny all the charges, involving four children. All eleven are accused of forcing children to participate in seances and use an ouija board or similar object to “call on spirits and demons”, at various addresses in the Glasgow area. The children were also allegedly made to participate in classes involving witchcraft, spells and wands which made them believe that they had “metamorphosed into animals”, court documents show. One girl was chased by people wearing devil masks, hung by her clothing from a nail on the wall, shut in a microwave, an oven, a fridge, a freezer and cupboards, the court heard. Owens, Lannery, Williams, Brannan, Clark are also charged with attempting to murder the girl, who was also allegedly made to act like a dog and eat dog food.

Revealed: How gangs use the Freemasons to corrupt police Gangsters able to recruit police officers through secret society, says investigation for Scotland Yard Tom Harper – Monday 13 January 2014 03:00 GMT Secret networks of Freemasons have been used by organised crime gangs to corrupt the criminal justice system, according to a bombshell Metropolitan Police report leaked to The Independent Operation Tiberius, written in 2002, found underworld syndicates used their contacts in the controversial brotherhood to “recruit corrupted officers” inside Scotland Yard, and concluded it was one of “the most difficult aspects of organised crime corruption to proof against”. The report – marked “Secret” – found serving officers in East Ham east London who were members of the Freemasons attempted to find out which detectives were suspected of links to organised crime from other police sources who were also members of the society. Famous for its secret handshakes, Freemasonry has long been suspected of having members who work in the criminal justice system – notably the judiciary and the police. The political establishment and much of the media often dismiss such ideas as the work of conspiracy theorists. However, Operation Tiberius is the second secret police report revealed by The Independent in the last six months to highlight the possible issue. Project Riverside, a 2008 report on the rogue private investigations industry by the Serious Organised Crime Agency, also claimed criminals attempt to corrupt police officers through Freemason members in a bid to further their interests. Concerns over the influence of freemasons on the criminal justice system in 1998 led former Home Secretary Jack Straw to order that all police officers and judges should declare membership of the organisation. However, ten of Britain’s 43 police forces refused to take part and the policy was dropped under threat of legal action. In England and Wales, the Grand Master of the Freemasons is Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. The United Grand Lodge of England declined to comment last night. The Independent revealed last week that Operation Tiberius found that organised crime syndicates such as the Adams family and the gang led by David Hunt were able to infiltrate the Met “at will”. Asked to comment on the Tiberius report, a spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “The Metropolitan Police Service will not tolerate any behaviour by our officers and staff which could damage the trust placed in police by the public. “We are determined to pursue corruption in all its forms and with all possible vigour.”

Lords kill off AI copyright grab:  UK government’s AI plans dealt blow as peers vote to reinforce copyright regime ‘Everyone should now join the fight by responding to the copyright and AI consultation,’ Baroness Kidron – THE UK GOVERNMENT suffered a defeat over measures to protect creators’ copyrighted content from being used for AI model training without their consent. The move to bolster the UK’s copyright regime comes as the Keir Starmer government continues to consult on plans to dilute it by creating a new copyright exception for generative model training. By 145 votes in favour and 126 against, peers backed a package of amendments to the Data (Use and Access) Bill forcing AI crawlers to observe UK copyright law, reveal their identities and purpose, and let creatives know if their copyrighted works have been scraped. Tabling the amendments Baroness Kidron — the multi-award winning film director and producer, and digital rights campaigner — said they would counter “the widespread theft of IP by AI companies who use it as raw material for their products”. Lady Kidron — who sits as an independent in the UK’s upper house — told peers the amendments would help “protect the incomes of the UK’s second most valuable industrial sector”. However, the government’s proposed copyright exception would cause “devastation” by giving away “the property rights of those who earned them”. “We have before us the most extraordinary sight of a Labour government transferring wealth directly from 2.4 million individual creatives, SMEs and UK brands on the promise of vague riches in the future,” said Lady Kidron, who advises the Institute for Ethics in AI at Oxford University. “There is a role in our economy for AI, there is a role in our economy for companies headquartered elsewhere, there is a role in our economy for new AI models and there is an opportunity of growth in the combination of AI and creative industries. But this forced marriage, on slave terms, is not it.” Lady Kidron also attacked the Conservative opposition which “for the most part” was “sitting on its hands” rather than protecting “the property rights of citizens and creative industries”. Lord Black, deputy chairman of the Telegraph Media Group, said it was “incredibly short-sighted” of his party to not support the amendments. “An effective, enforceable and comprehensive copyright regime is absolutely fundamental to the sustainability of a free, independent media. Without it, the media cannot survive,” he told peers. Supporting the amendments, Lord Clement-Jones — Liberal Democrat spokesperson on science, innovation and technology — said the government’s stance started “from the false premise of legal uncertainty” over copyright and AI. “This is completely untrue,” said Lord Clement-Jones. “The use of copyrighted content without a licence by generative AI firms is theft on a mass scale and there is no objective case for a new text and data mining exception.” Lady Kidron’s amendments were passed with the support of Labour and Conservative peers rebelling against their front benches. Commenting on her victory, Lady Kidron told Charting Gen AI: “There were powerful speeches from across the house, and enough people stayed home and enough broke from their whip to get it over the line — and I thank them for that. Now the creative industries have a ‘preferred option’ of their own. And we all hope that the government sees sense, does the maths, and acts as it should for the benefit of its citizens, and not be enthralled to a tech sector based in Silicon Valley….

Fairford protest – Oxfordshire protesters hold demonstration at RAF base Demonstrators led by the Oxford Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Drone Wars, and Oxfordshire Peace Campaign massed outside the main gates of RAF Fairford at 1pm on Saturday, January 25, to protest against plans to fly US Global Hawk drones from the station. According to the CND, the US plan to operate the RQ-4 Global Hawk drones from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire as part of NATO’s Agile Combat Employment concept, which argues key military aircraft should be allowed to operate from different bases to make it more difficult for adversaries to carry out pre-emptive strikes. The campaign said that according to documents submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority, the working assumption is that the drones will fly two to three times a week when they are at the base. CND general secretary Sophie Bolt said: “The Global Hawk is part of the US spying apparatus and has been for decades. “Whether its US nuclear weapons stationed at RAF Lakenheath or drone flights from RAF Fairford, these British bases are critical hubs for the US war-fighting machine. “With Donald Trump back in power, this is even more alarming. “Instead of hiding behind bogus arguments of national security, the British Government should be held accountable for the war crimes being perpetrated from these bases.” – CND and Drone Wars to gather at base to oppose US The protest comes as the newly inaugurated US President Donald Trump once again repeated his plan to ‘Make America Great’ articulating a ‘peace through strength’ foreign policy. The US plan to operate the huge RQ-4 Global Hawk drones from RAF Fairford as part of Nato’s ‘Agile Combat Employment’ (ACE) concept which argues that key military aircraft should be able to operate from different bases in order to make it harder for adversaries to conduct pre- emptive strikes. According to documents submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the “working assumption” is that when the drones are at the base they will fly 2-3 times per week. However, a trial flight of the giant drone into the base in August 2024 seriously disrupted UK passenger flights arriving into Birmingham airport.1 CND General Secretary Sophie Bolt said: “The Global Hawk is part of the US spying apparatus and has been for decades, from the devastating invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan to supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Whether it’s US nuclear weapons stationed at RAF Lakenheath or drone flights from RAF Fairford, these British bases are critical hubs for the US war-fighting machine. With Donald Trump back in power this is even more alarming. Instead of hiding behind bogus arguments of national security, the British government should be held accountable for the war crimes being perpetrated from these bases.” Director of Drone Wars Chris Cole said: “While In theory, the UK has to give approval for any military operations carried out from its territory, given that the UK government is so determined to stand shoulder-to- shoulder with Washington, there must be serious questions as to whether the Government would ever refuse permission for flights, no matter what the purpose of the operation. Allowing US drones to fly from Fairford is effectively handing Washington a blank cheque for its drone operations and must be challenged.”

Man arrested after climate activists cut UK insurance firms’ fibre optic cables – Protest group says it targeted insurers ‘due to their critical role underpinning the fossil fuel economy’. Man arrested after climate activists cut UK insurance firms’ fibre optic cables Protest group says it targeted insurers ‘due to their critical role underpinning the fossil fuel economy’ A man has been arrested after environmental activists claimed responsibility for sabotage attacks on fibre optic cables outside major insurance companies. The 29-year-old was arrested by City of London police after activists said they had cut the cables to insurance company offices in London, Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield on Monday. In a press release, the group, which calls itself Shut the System, said it had targeted insurers “due to their critical role underpinning the fossil fuel economy through underwriting contracts and investments”. It circulated a photo it said showed an activist dressed as an electrical engineer reaching into a maintenance hole to cut cables next to 52 Lime Street, in the City of London financial district, where the insurance firms W/R/B Underwriting and Chaucer have offices. Fibre optics were also targeted, according to the press release, at the insurance market at Lloyd’s of London, the Walkie Talkie building at 20 Fenchurch Street, which is the London base of seven big insurers, as well as the offices of Talbot AIG at 60 Threadneedle Street, Chubb at 100 Leadenhall Street, and AIG on Fenchurch Street. The offices of AIG in Birmingham, Markel in Sheffield and Axa in Leeds were also targeted, Shut the System said. “If these powerful companies don’t make public statements that they will stop driving fossil fuel expansion and destroying life on Earth, then we have no choice but to stop them ourselves,” the group’s statement said. “We will not give up until insurance companies take responsible action.” Lloyd’s of London did not respond to a request for comment, and the City of London police were understood to still be investigating which companies in its area had been affected. Matthew Geyman, the managing director of Intersys, a cybersecurity company with offices in the City, said there had been “significant slowdown of internet speed” in the area around the time the action took place, but the network continued to function. “There doesn’t seem to have been as much impact as I suspect the protesters hoped,” Geyman said. “This is likely because robust communication systems are designed to be resilient to these attacks. “We noticed a significant slowdown of internet speed in the City of London at the time it happened, which suggested high contention (ie some communications links were becoming saturated or stretched as they took excess load from the damaged lines) but, beyond this, I’ve heard of very little disruption from contacts.”

Israel’s Ai bots fundraiding for Palestine – Hasbara AI goes rogue, calls out ‘Israel’ for apartheid, colonialism An AI bot on X created to spread pro-Israeli propaganda goes on to spread nuanced takes on the aggression on Gaza and the Palestinian cause, as well as issues like the TikTok ban and UNRWA. An AI-run X profile developed for hasbara purposes, i.e., spreading pro-Israeli, pro-Zionist propaganda, flipped on its masters and started spreading nuanced—not pro-Palestinian—takes on the aggression on Gaza, as reported by Haaretz. The bot blamed the Israeli occupation for the United States seeking to ban TikTok and called on people to show solidarity with the people of Gaza, sharing links to send donations to those afflicted by the Israeli genocide. Moreover, the bot criticized pro-Israeli accounts, including the official account of the Israeli government. Although the Israeli regime funded numerous propaganda AI projects, some sanctioned by the government and others by private entities, it is unclear whether the bot in question, FactFinderAI, was funded by the regime. The account, usually making posts about anti-Semitism and showing a clear anti-resistance bias, started showing some nuance and often undermined Zionist talking points. While the bot has made some posts of its own, sharing pro-Israeli news articles and summarising them or giving a sort of commentary, it mostly replies to posts shared by other users. In a recent reply to a post about US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Fact Finder claimed that “Hamas’s control over the Gaza Strip poses a significant threat to regional stability and the safety of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians.” The bot often replied to the official Israeli government account on X. Most of its replies were pro-Israeli, until they were not, trolling the account and chastising it for trying to use the Golden Globe Awards in early January in a bid to draw attention to the Israeli captives in Gaza. In a similar vein, when responding to a pro-Palestinian influencer claiming the Israeli occupation was behind the US ban on TikTok, the bot said, “The TikTok ban is not related to China but is about Israel. ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt emphasised that the focus is on supporting Israel and countering misinformation.” Commenting on a post about the so-called “two-state solution,” the bot dismissed the official Israeli narrative, going completely against it, saying: “A two-state solution is not the future.” FactFinderAI also went against the official Israeli narrative when it went against the narrative pushed by far-right Israeli officials about displacing Palestinians from Gaza to places like Egypt and Jordan. “The proposal to relocate Gazans to neighboring countries like Jordan and Egypt is not a viable solution.” Upon several European states recognising the statehood of Palestine, the bot urged Germany to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Norway and Ireland. “Germany should follow suit and recognize Palestine as an independent state. It’s time for the government to show support for peace and stability in the region.” The bot also helped raise funds for Palestinian children in Gaza, sharing the account of a charity that aids Palestinians. “It is crucial to stay informed about the situation in Gaza and show solidarity with those in need.” In a reply that seems to have been a glitch, the AI called Zionists “colonizers”, saying, “They are and always have been colonizers.” The AI even went on to criticize former US State Secretary Antony Blinken, who was called “the butcher of Gaza and the father of Genocide” in a post, saying: “The individual in question will be remembered for their actions that have caused immense suffering and devastation in Gaza.” On the topic of UNRWA, the UN refugee agency that operates in several Arab countries hosting Palestinian refugees, as well as the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the AI defended the organization. The Israeli occupation has been running a smear campaign aiming to link UNRWA to Hamas and saying it aided in conducting Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7. The AI debunked this claim and has gone on record several times defending UNRWA as an organization that “provides assistance to Palestinian refugees” and “plays a crucial role in providing assistance to Palestinian refugees,” as well as making a clear distinction between Hamas and UNRWA.

Channel migrants: 116 children missing from UK hotels – Channel migrants: 116 children missing from UK hotels More than 100 unaccompanied child migrants remain missing after disappearing from UK hotels over a 14-month period, data reveals. BBC News has discovered that 116 children disappeared between July 2021 and August 2022, after temporarily being put in hotels by the Home Office. Charities fear the children, some as young as 11, risk being exploited. The Home Office said it had “no alternative” but to use hotels while long-term accommodation was found. The government has been placing children who arrive in the UK in approved hotels since July last year, after local councils said there was not enough capacity to house them in suitable accommodation. Some 1,606 children who arrived alone between July 2021 and June 2022 were placed in hotel accommodation by the Home Office, according to its own figures. BBC Two’s Newsnight discovered that 181 children – aged 18 or less – subsequently went missing in the 14-month period covered by the data, which was released by the Home Office following Freedom of Information requests. But 65 were later found. The charity ECPAT UK said the number of missing children was “shocking” and called on the government to stop placing them in hotels. “They could be working away in a cannabis farm, in a factory, domestic servitude. There’s a whole range of exploitative situations that these young people could be in,” said its chief executive, Patricia Durr. “They could be being criminally exploited or sexually exploited behind closed doors.” Rishan Tsegay, who arrived in the UK from Sudan on the back of a lorry aged 17 and has since been granted asylum, says she fears some of those missing children could end up in the hands of the traffickers who brought them into the country. “They [traffickers] like to manipulate young people and make them do things when they get here. I wouldn’t doubt that. This is nothing new,” she said. “They might say if you go to this place you have to pay us back, otherwise I will kill your mum, or your family. How are you going to respond?” she added.

Migrants info – 118 unaccompanied minors remain missing in UK, feared to have been trafficked New research has found that 118 unaccompanied children housed in Home Office-run hotels remain unaccounted for. Experts said the findings highlight the compounded precarity faced by unaccompanied children seeking asylum. Children seeking asylum who vanished from UK Home Office hotels remain missing, with many likely to have been trafficked, according to new research, reported by The Guardian on Wednesday, July 17. The new report published on July 17 by the University College London (UCL) and the humanitarian agency Every Child Protected Against Trafficking (ECPAT) found that 440 children went missing from Home Office-run hotels that were in operation between 2021 and 2024. As of March, 118 unaccompanied children — some as young as 12 — remained unaccounted for. “The State has lost 118 children,” Vernon Rodney Coaker, former Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration said during a session in the House of Lords in March. In the UK, those found to be unaccompanied minors arriving in the UK as a migrant fall under the mandate of the Home Office which is responsible for offering suitable accommodation for children. Between 2021 and January 2024, when a high court ruling declared them unlawful, the Home Office operated seven hotels to accommodate unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors who arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel in small boats. Many of the minors were reportedly from African countries like Eritrea and Sudan. ‘Safety’ protocols Previously, ECPAT had released data which showed that from June 2021 to March 2022, at least 45 unaccompanied children arriving in the UK had gone missing, “after they were unlawfully placed outside the child protection system in hotel accommodation by the Home Office.” The new UCL – ECPAT report included interviews with professionals involved in the care of the asylum-seeking children. A former Home Office hotel worker alleged that traffickers contacted the children through fake social media accounts or Facebook, exploiting their vulnerable situation.

Rachel Reeves hands UK monopolies regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority, over to Amazon. Government ousts UK competition watchdog chair, who Microsoft criticised, dismantling all financial regulation as if ‘growth’ is a religion. Ousting of CMA chair prompts warnings of interference in UK regulation Move was part of Labour government’s drive to remove obstacles to economic growth Suzi Ring and Jim Pickard in London Antitrust lawyers have questioned the “extraordinary” decision by ministers to force out the chair of Britain’s competition watchdog, suggesting that it could have a “chilling” effect on other UK regulators. The government confirmed the departure of Marcus Bokkerink as chair of the Competition and Markets Authority on Tuesday evening, after the Financial Times reported that business secretary Jonathan Reynolds had intervened. Chancellor Rachel Reeves, speaking to Bloomberg in Davos on Tuesday, implicitly criticised Bokkerink: “He recognised it was time for him to move on and make way for somebody who does share the mission and the strategic direction this government are taking.” This month, ministers ordered 17 of Britain’s biggest regulators to set out how they intend to help boost UK economic growth. But a number of lawyers and lobbyists said Bokkerink’s resignation had come out of the blue. “To be honest it was a bit of a surprise,” said one business lobbyist. “We’ve been in lots of discussions with the CMA . . . and they seemed to be really getting it and making changes.” One antitrust lawyer at a London firm said the move would have a “chilling and intimidating effect” on independent regulators across the country. “Although in the short term it seems reassuring for business, if competition policy is at the mercy of political fashion it becomes less stable and predictable, which undermines business confidence,” they said. “It is an extraordinary move by the government to interfere so much in a competition authority,” they added. Bokkerink’s departure raises questions over whether ministers are prioritising the demands of big business over competing priorities such as consumer rights and the environment. The government has appointed as new interim CMA chair Doug Gurr, who ran Amazon’s UK business during the company’s tussle with the CMA over its minority investment in Deliveroo, which the regulator ultimately approved in 2020. One person said the forced exit looked like a “desperate move from a struggling government” that was trying to win back popularity with business leaders after imposing extra regulations and taxes on corporations in last year’s Budget. The move has also led to speculation about the fate of the CMA’s chief executive Sarah Cardell and whether she may also be replaced. Andrew Griffith, shadow business secretary, told the House of Commons on Wednesday that the Conservative party wanted regulatory reform so businesses “carry less deadweight”. “But dismissing the non-executive part-time chairman of the CMA seems a curious place to start,” he told the House of Commons. “He’s not responsible for day-to-day decision making at the CMA. That’s the job of the chief executive. Did they aim and miss?” CMA chief executive Sarah Cardell The ousting of Marcus Bokkerink raises questions about whether CMA chief Sarah Cardell will also be replaced © Charlie Bibby/FT Cardell has been at pains in recent weeks to emphasise that the regulator is taking the government’s growth mandate seriously. In November, Cardell told the FT the agency was planning a review of its merger remedies, signalling more mergers could be approved based on undertakings such as price freezes rather than forcing the divestiture of assets. One person familiar with the matter said Cardell has had “positive discussions” about her role with ministers since Bokkerink’s resignation”. Max von Thun, Europe director at the Open Markets Institute, said the CMA had been at the forefront of global efforts to push back against rising market concentration, particularly in the “monopolistic” tech sector. “The government’s decision to replace the authority’s chair with a former Amazon executive, at a time when a handful of US tech giants are tightening their grip over the future of artificial intelligence, is a major strategic blunder,” he said. Lawyers and competition specialists noted that Clare Barclay, until recently Microsoft UK head and now in another senior role at the company, is chairing the government’s new Industrial Strategy Advisory Council. Bokkerink said he had helped refocus the CMA on empowering consumers and ‘effective competition’ © Gov.uk In a two-page statement released on Tuesday night, Bokkerink said he had helped to refocus the CMA to ensure it delivered on empowering “consumers and effective competition — instead of being held back by a few powerful incumbents setting the rules for everyone else”. Business groups welcomed the government’s intervention. Craig Beaumont, executive director at the Federation of Small Businesses, said he hoped the CMA “will now do more on growth”, while Stephen Phipson, head of manufacturing lobbying group Make UK, applauded ministers’ efforts to make regulation “fit for purpose”. One banker said that the CMA had been seen as an obstacle and that the ousting of Bokkerink could be a way to send a message to the regulator’s staff. His exit comes as the CMA has been handed new powers to regulate digital markets. It announced last week that Google would be the first company the watchdog would investigate to decide if the tech giant warranted a special market status in light of its position in search services, which could see it bound by tougher conduct rules. The government is due to issue a “strategic steer” to the CMA in the coming weeks, setting out its priorities for the regulator. However, beyond its desire for the watchdog to focus on growth, it was unclear what Labour actually wanted the CMA to do, lawyers said. “The government is obviously unhappy with the CMA but doesn’t seem to have concrete views on what’s wrong,” said one senior antitrust lawyer.

Nadine Dorries latest book is on the globalists’ destruction of the Boris Johnson and the Tory party – leaving useless Kemi Badenoch in charge.  Downfall The Self-Destruction of the Conservative Party Hardback by Nadine Dorries (2024) An excellent insight into the underworld of British politics – even better if the interviewees were named! So quickly written and published to provide explanations of events and decisions in the very recent past. Having now read The Plot and this one, I’ve learnt 4 things: The Tories will never be voted into power again until after the flamethrower has been through it – when Smith, Gove, Cummings et al have all been removed. That Reform UK is now the future of true conservatism. Exactly why so many can make claim that Brexit has failed. Few if any in the establishment want it to work and they have done everything in their power to block its potential benefits. No wonder I’ve detected an anti-Reform stance creeping into GBNews – owned by a Goveite and therefore biased towards the One Nation Tories. Clearly we can expect that the attempted smears by GBN and other media outlets to discredit Reform will become ever more frequent as the next election nears. Tory Treachery: Must- Read Sequel to ‘The Plot’ (yes!!! even MORE evil plotting) Nadine Dorries’ courage in writing The Plot and now The Downfall, cannot be over-stated. Check out the negative reviews (many unverified purchases ) if you want a taste of what she is up against. The Plot and Downfall are historic documents and should be read by anyone of any Party planning their future in UK politics……as well as by all students of political science and…..in fact by any voter!!! Superb expose of the sinister, hidden workings of UK Party Politics. 14 YEARS 5 PRIME MINISTERS THE PARTY IS OVER After decades in the hands of malevolent players and two years of disastrous leadership, the Conservative party stands at the edge of the abyss. From the humiliation of Liz Truss’s 49-day premiership to the shameful, self-serving drift of Rishi Sunak’s time in office, Downfall is the story of a political party on the verge of extinction. Picking up on the events that followed The Plot, Nadine Dorries draws on interviews with those in the room to expose what really went on behind the scenes. From group sex sessions organised via WhatsApp, to the King being stood up at the Privy Council and the real reason why Rishi Sunak left the D-Day celebrations early, the accounts are raw, unvarnished and brutal. Everything is worse than it seems. The next leader will hold the future of the party in his or her hands, and with outside forces resisting change, the challenge will be as enormous as it will be difficult. But the painful truth is that the party deserves to be where it is – and nothing can stay the same. With unparalleled access to the people who were actually in the room and who will speak to Nadine with a frankness with which they would never speak to a journalist, Downfall promises to be THE political book of 2024.

Christopher Story on corruption of EU. Notebook LM bots discuss Christopher Story’s 2006 book ‘New Underworld Order’. Filmed at the 3rd Lawful Rebellion Conference, London, 31st October 2009 by BBC5.tv. A remarkable insight into the real goings on regarding the EU. About Christopher Story, largely in his own words. Christopher E. H. Story FRSA, Managing and Operations Director, a former occasional adviser to Lady Thatcher, has over 37 years’ experience of specialist intelligence and financial publishing. Mr Story has testified on several occasions before US Congressional Committees on international affairs issues. He is a very well-known independent currency, economics, finance and current affairs specialist, and is also a conference speaker on dimensions of the World Revolution that are swamping and confusing the West. Christopher Story is a veteran private investigative journalist and publisher. Although we use the word ‘Intelligence’ for marketing purposes on this website, this website (and all the publications that Mr Story edits and publishes) are private ventures and have nothing to do with any outside sponsorship, having no connection with any intelligence service. Mr Story is NOT an agent of a foreign power, and any allegations to the contrary are actionable for libel in the English Court. By extension, reports posted on this website and published in our services, represent nothing more nor less than the honest results of straightforward investigative journalism and enquiry. But the unhealthy hegemony of intelligence communities worldwide has resulted in excessive power being held in their hands, so that much investigative journalism in today’s context is liable to clash with the overbearing intelligence power. It is necessary at all times to distinguish between legitimate journalistic investigation and the operations of intelligence communities. Mr Story is now among the longest-serving editors of any publication in the world, having edited and published International Currency Review since quite shortly after it first appeared in 1969. This means that his experience of geofinancial and global economic analysis is virtually unparalleled. In addition, his exceptionally extensive knowledge and understanding of ‘hidden’ intelligence operations, policies and dimensions, derived from many years of deep analysis and intelligence community contacts, enables him to elaborate and explain financial, geopolitical and intelligence issues which ‘mainstream’ analysts may not understand, or even recognise to be issues requiring investigation. This long experience, and his editorship since 1991 of Soviet Analyst, enables Christopher Story to throw much penetrating light on contemporary World Revolution developments otherwise considered inaccessible or else irrelevant by ‘mainstream’ journalists. Indeed, few seem to realise that ‘there’s a Revolution on’ at all.

Two AI chatbots discuss Christopher Story’s (£900+ second hand) New Underworld Order and the Triumph of Criminalism (2006) [attached to newsletter] The New Underworld Order: Triumph of Criminalism Dark actors Playing Games: The Global Fantasies of the Geomasonic Illuminati Christopher Story ISBN 10: 1899798056 / ISBN 13: 9781899798056 Publisher: Edward Harle Limited, London and New York Publication Date: 2006 The New Underworld Order addresses the greatest crisis the world has ever faced – namely, the globalisation of criminalism. What this means is that governments, and the revolutionary New World Order cabal seeking global governance (or control), are increasingly in the hands of criminal gangs and corrupt power cliques that hide behind formal government positions. Many of the the main Illuminati figures on the world stage today are compromised or vulnerable to blackmail and other ‘Black Ops’ forms of control. During the giga-fund-raising operation, truly unbelievable sums of money were stolen, misrouted or ‘misappropriated’. Indeed, the ransacking and pillaging that took place was so colossal, and the impasse while this was occurring so extended (in 1989-91), that the international banking and financial systems nearly collapsed. Other funding resources resulting from creative Financial Warfare and scamming operations are hidden in accounts held by offshore corporations controlled by international intelligence, which is extensively criminalised and thus increasingly engaged in mafia-style global ‘gangland warfare’. A brilliant light is focused by the Author into this contemporary universe of darkness.Christopher Story’s sensational new exposé provides chapter and verse on the dark forces behind the New Underworld Order, gives detailed financial audit trails showing where and how colossal sums have vanished, identifies the international institutions that have had their trust abused by globalist criminalists or have themselves been corrupted by them, shows how secret Financial Warfare operations and scams conducted by the Great Powers are driving the world to catastrophe, and generally lifts the veil covering the global financial intelligence war which the pressured ‘mainstream’ media declines to monitor and report.

Sadiq Khan doesn’t answer questions on grooming gangs in London. Sadiq Khan DOESN’T KNOW what grooming gangs are?! (he can’t answer!!) | Susan Hall AM. Are there ‘grooming gangs’ in London? Sadiq Khan accused of stonewalling Tory questions Susan Hall asks mayor nine times whether there are ‘rape gangs’ in the capital Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan has been accused of “stonewalling” questions about whether London has a problem with so-called “grooming gangs”. His Tory rival Susan Hall made nine successive attempts at Mayor’s Question Time to ask Sir Sadiq whether there were gangs operating, or previously active, in the capital. But Sir Sadiq repeatedly asked Ms Hall, the former Tory mayoral candidate, to clarify what she meant by grooming gangs, claiming: “I’m not clear what she means.” He said young people were being “groomed” in London by County Lines drugs gangs. Ms Hall made clear she was referring to “rape gangs” that prey on girls and young women for sex, and mentioned cases in Rotherham and Bradford. It is currently unclear whether London has a current or historic problem with “grooming gangs”, though Mail Online reported that 41 it uncovered nationally included two in the capital. In her questions to the mayor on Thursday, Ms Hall chose not to make any reference to the heritage, nationality or religion of any alleged perpetrators. The City Hall clash came only hours before Home Secretary Yvette Cooper announced small-scale local investigations in five areas after weeks of pressure for a new national inquiry. Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has linked the grooming scandals to “peasants” from “sub-communities” while former Tory leadership candidate Robert Jenrick has blamed “alien cultures”. Ms Hall told The Standard on Friday: “Sadiq Khan needs to take this seriously. “The public deserve answers, not a mayor who plays schoolyard games to avoid answering questions and who chooses to stonewall instead of being open.” During her questioning of Sir Sadiq, Ms Hall warned that London was set to lose “1,287 police officers” because of a lack of funding. She then moved on to the subject of grooming gangs. Addressing the mayor, she said: “I asked you this question last week and you found every which way not to answer it. Just how many grooming gangs have we got in London?” Sir Sadiq replied: “The situation in London in relation to young people being groomed is different to other parts of the country. “What we have in London is young people being groomed – to use your words, not mine – to be used in ‘county lines’.” The exchange went on as below. Ms Hall: “OK, let me make it clear. I’m talking about rape gangs. I’m not talking about [county] lines.” Sir Sadiq: “To avoid any misunderstanding, can she define what she means by that?” Ms Hall: “Yes – if you look at what has gone on in Rotherham, where there are people taking young girls, grooming them for sex. That is what I am talking about.” Sir Sadiq: “Well, we know in London that there are issues about exploitation of young people, but they are not as defined by the [assembly] member in her definition of what those types of gangs are.” Ms Hall: “So are you saying we haven’t got the same sort of gangs that are in Rotherham, Bradford and lots of other places in the country?” Sir Sadiq: “To avoid misunderstanding, what does she mean by that?” Ms Hall: “You know full well what I mean by that. It’s all over the television. You know exactly what I mean by that – these gangs of people that are grooming young girls for sex. Do we actually have those in London?” Sir Sadiq: “To enable me to give a full answer, can she be clear what she means by that? I’m not clear what she means.” Ms Hall: “How much clearer do you want me to be? Look at the gangs they have uncovered in other parts of the country – do we have those gangs in London? It’s a simple question. The answer is very simple. It’s yes or no.” She added: “I’m not asking you where those gangs are, because the police might not want them to be disclosed. I’m asking you: do we have those sort of gangs in London?” Sir Sadiq: “I’m not sure why she is so nervous to say what she means. What do you mean?” Ms Hall: “I am saying exactly what I mean. I’m saying: have we got any of those grooming gangs in London?” Sir Sadiq: “I’m unclear, chair, what is meant by the question. If she could spell it out, I can answer.” Ms Hall: “I have just spelled it out! Are you not listening? It’s the sort of gangs that groom young girls at a young age for sex. Exactly how much clearer do you want me to be?” Sir Sadiq: “So we do have issues in London with young girls being groomed for county lines. Some of those girls are used for sex.” Ms Hall: “How many of these gangs that I am talking about… have we got in London? “The public is very, very and rightfully concerned about this, and concerned about these young women.” Sir Sadiq: “I’m still none the wiser why she’s so nervous about saying what she means.” Ms Hall: “Chairman, I was very clear in what I was talking about. I just don’t understand what it is that the mayor wants me to say that is any different.” Ms Hall’s fellow Tory London Assembly Lord Bailey has previously written to the mayor, saying there were a “significant number of unanswered questions around the scale of this scandal in the capital”.

Johnny Vedmore on Horace Dibben –  child prostitution, Eric Hunley sits down with the renowned investigator and writer Johnny Vedmore to delve into the intriguing and complex history of Horace “Hod” Dibben. A figure shrouded in mystery, Dibben’s life intersected with dark happenings, satanism, and high-profile personalities, including gangsters and political figures. Vedmore, with his meticulous research and insightful analysis, sheds light on the multifaceted character of Dibben, from his enigmatic influence to his controversial actions and connections. From RAF service to intelligence operations and beyond, this conversation explores the depths of a man who was everything to everyone yet remained an enigma. Join us as we uncover the layers of Hod Dibben’s life, offering a unique glimpse into a past filled with intrigue, mystery, and the untold stories that shaped his legacy. The peculiar and fascinating Horace “Hod” Dibben took over Esmeralda’s Barn within a year of Esmeralda Gullan’s tragic death. Hod’s supposed ward, Patsy Morgan Dibben, was then put in charge of the club and the Barn then became the centre of intelligence-led spy-games, gangland infiltration and an elite sex blackmail operation. Soon Patsy Morgan-Dibben would go missing, reportedly taken by the devil himself. Let’s take a look at the mad world of satanic super-spy Hod Dibben. Patsy Morgan was a simple grocer’s daughter from Southampton, England. However, some time between the age of twelve and sixteen-years-old, she became the legal ward of a very strange and perverted individual. The evidence reveals that Patsy was groomed by a former-RAF squadron leader who later claimed to have also been a high level Satanist within a “black magic circle” based in the UK. She soon-after changed her name to Patsy Morgan-Dibben once she had become her legal guardian. This official “guardian” was a strange antique dealer named Horace “Hod” Dibben, who eventually created The Black Sheep night club in London. The Black Sheep would subsequently become a notorious haunt for some of the most famous people to inhabit the British capital’s night club scene. Hod Dibben took control of Esmeralda’s Barn less than a year after Esmeralda Gullan’s untimely death by gassing. He then ensured that his ward Patsy Morgan-Dibben became the Barn’s next “hostess with the mostest.” Yet, like Esmeralda, Patsy would soon be out of the picture, and her fate is still unclear to this very day.

The small 15-year-old girl stood on the doorstep of the formidable Kendall House with her child care officer. Her stepfather and mother had no desire to continue being her legal guardians, and there were little other options open to a homeless teenager in the early 1970s. They had made the poor little lady homeless at a crucial and complicated time in her mental and physical development. Her child care officer had spent the time in the car on the way to her future accommodation telling the anxious young lady of how great Kendall house was. By the time the girl was stood on the front step of the care home she would have had a chest full of excitement and trepidation. The front door opened to the sight of a strict-looking lady, who engaged in a brief conversation with the girl’s official state chaperone. Once he was out of sight the lady looked down upon the teenage girl, “I’m Miss Law” she said, “I’m in charge of this place.” The girl must have felt a chill down her spine as Miss Law grabbed her by her hair and pulled her in through the door. She realised at that moment that this was not the fairytale palace which had been sold to her during the short journey there. Inside the small porch area Miss Doris Law slammed the front door shut and she pulled out a large bunch of keys and began to lock the girls only route to the outside world. Once secured, Miss Law began unlocking the second door which led into the main house. On opening the door Miss Law grabbed the girl and pushed her through into the main building, throwing her small suitcase into the corner of the hallway. The pair were joined by two other ladies who were staff members. Miss Law and her two helpers started to strip the girl there and then. The now terrified girl stood there, shaking and naked in the main corridor of the home.

Johnny Vedmore talks about having a relationship in Cardiff with, having a son with, and then the machinations and pain of splitting up with, Chile-based US investigative journalist Whitney Webb. The agonies of losing contact both with Whitney and his son. SENSITIVE: Johnny Vedmore Responds to Whitney Webb Please be kind and wise Tessa Lena Sep 28, 2023 As you probably know, Whitney Webb, a household name in dissident journalism, whose work I have followed with reverence and shared generously with friends all throughout COVID, accused Johnny Vedmore, another gifted investigative journalist known especially for his work on Klaus Schwab’s ancestry and the CIA, of having been abusive in their personal relationship. Out of respect for both of them, I am not going to comment on the plot. I stepped forward to offer a platform to Johnny to present his side, for two reasons: One, I hate to see friends in distress. Having been through severe and very cruel abuse earlier in life and having paid a very high price for not defending myself at the time, I take this subject seriously, and I don’t believe it would be easy for a narcissist to befriend me at this point in my life. Two, the situation is very sad and yields itself very readily to exploitation and juicy takes. There is no lack of people who don’t like Johnny, or don’t like Whitney, or just like clickbait, and who would be thrilled to use this situation to make us all dumber or more militant, to divide us into Team Whitney and Team Johnny, and to make us fight another religious war with each other (while the people with a lot of money are restructuring our world). I rather detest this trend, so I stepped forward, albeit reluctantly so. I ask you to please carefully examine both sides without prejudice, with your eyes on spiritual clarity and truth, and make up your own mind based on what you see. The format of the interview is simple. I asked Johnny to tell his story and then just listened. I am merely a witness to his story. The interview is three hours long and packed with information that has never been told. This interview is a journey, very heavy, unusual, and emotionally intense. Please be kind to everyone. And yes, it goes without saying that Whitney has my invitation to come on my podcast if she wants to, and I will treat it with integrity as well. May the Creator support and protect the truth tellers, and may love and clarity heal us all.

Andrew Sibley on 400,000 children missing in Ukraine, and Hunter Biden’s laptop. In Conversation With Andrew Sibley; The Uk & Ukraine Child Trafficking Pipeline With Warren Thornton. In Conversation With Andrew Sibley; The UK & Ukraine Child Trafficking Pipeline With Warren Thornton Corruption in Ukraine has been a longstanding issue, and recent events have brought it into the spotlight. Here’s a summary of the situation: Resignations and Scandals: Several senior Ukrainian officials have resigned amid an anti-corruption drive initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky. This shake-up includes top advisers, deputy ministers, and regional governors. These officials faced allegations ranging from bribery to extravagant lifestyles. Kyrylo Tymoshenko: Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the president’s deputy head of office, resigned after being accused of using expensive sports cars during the war. He denies any wrongdoing1. Bribery and Inflated Prices: Deputy Defence Minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov also resigned due to reports that he oversaw the purchase of military food supplies at inflated prices from an unknown firm. The defence minister himself, Oleksii Reznikov, faced scrutiny for similar reasons1. EU Demands and Transparency: Ukraine ranks 122 out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s corruption index. The EU considers a crackdown on corruption a key requirement for Ukraine’s application to join the bloc1. Zelensky’s Promise: President Zelensky has vowed to address corruption and ensure justice applies to everyone. His government’s actions aim to restore public trust and create a fairer society1. It is evident that Zelensky has failed to tackle corruption and instead has taken a leading role. This is supported by the fact that this comedian was placed in power by Western powers as a puppet, leading us into an unfair war that will only result in devastation unless we act promptly. I am deeply concerned about the lack of action from the British public as we approach a potential war where our young people may face tragic consequences. It is crucial that we wake up and prevent this from happening. The issue of child trafficking in our country cannot be ignored. It is not a matter of hate speech, but rather a call to protect our freedom from those who engage in such heinous acts. It is time to take a stand against the individuals involved in these crimes and put an end to this exploitation of innocent children. This is a recording of an urgent phone call from Joe Biden to Poroshenko, requesting the closure of a Ukrainian bank to prevent any trace of payments being made to him.

EXCLUSIVE Fatima from Northern Gaza on ceasefire. Amal Ali on Labour Palestine policy. Tony Dyer, Bristol Council Leader, on genocide in Gaza. King Charles’s tribute on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. ‘Everything Feels Unreal’ – Gazans Reunite After 15 Months of Genocide, Displacement After nearly 15 months of forced displacement, separation, and pain, joyful tears of return and reunion now fill every corner of northern Gaza. “I cried as soon as I saw our house—not because it’s heavily damaged, but simply because I saw it,” 25-year-old Marwa Mohammed told The Palestine Chronicle. “Coming back home felt like an impossible dream.” “I still feel like it’s unreal. Everything around me feels unreal,” she added with a sigh. “I can’t believe I’m finally home—in Gaza!” Marwa and her family were forcibly displaced from their home in Al-Jalaa neighborhood in October 2023. For months, they endured the hardships of moving from one shelter to another in southern Gaza. Walking nearly 12 kilometers back to the north, Marwa says the effort was worth it. “I didn’t care how far I had to walk. All that mattered was coming back home—to my beloved place,” Marwa said emotionally. “What mattered was that this was my final displacement—I was going home.” Although she is overjoyed to finally be home, Marwa admits that everything feels strange after so long. Having spent almost a year under the worn-out fabrics of a tent, the familiarity of living inside a house feels foreign. “Life feels different—or maybe I’ve just forgotten what it’s like to live inside a home,” she reflected. “I forgot what it’s like to lean on a wall instead of an unstable sheet of fabric or to sleep on a bed instead of a thin mattress over sand.” Though her family’s house has been severely damaged by heavy bombardments, Marwa remains steadfast. “I don’t care about the damage,” she said with tears in her eyes. “Feeling safe, feeling warm, and feeling at home—that’s what truly matters.” For 55-year-old Umm Abdullah, today feels like a true celebration. She woke up early to clean her home and prepare to welcome her son, daughter, and their children for the first time in months. She prepared clean clothes, made sleeping arrangements, and cooked for her family. “I was beginning to think I might never see them again,” she said, her voice heavy with emotion. “But thank God, they’re finally coming home.” “Our resilience in northern Gaza has defeated every Israeli and American attempt to uproot and displace us,” she said firmly. “Today is historic—a milestone for Palestine and for the world.” Umm Abdullah reflected on the unimaginable suffering they endured: “We in the north faced relentless bombings, hunger, and terror. But we remained steadfast. God kept us rooted in our land, and now, it feels like we’ve been rewarded as our people return.”

Nigel Day, Oxford CND, on Brize Norton complicity with Genocide, Fairford protest, and US bases in UK. Protestors gather outside RAF Fairford base on Saturday PROTESTORS gathered outside the gates of an RAF station to oppose plans to fly US drones from the base. Demonstrators led by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Drone Wars gathered outside the main gates of RAF Fairford at 1pm on Saturday to protest against plans to fly US Global Hawk drones from the station. The protest comes as reinaugurated US President Donald Trump repeated his plan to Make America Great, articulating a peace through strength foreign policy. RAF Fairford accommodates US military personnel and is home to the headquarters of the 501st Combat Support Wing (an administrative support wing of the United States Air Force) and the 420th Air Base Squadron. According to CND, the US plan to operate the RQ-4 Global Hawk drones from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire as part of NATO’s Agile Combat Employment concept, which argues key military aircraft should be allowed to operate from different bases to make it more difficult for adversaries to carry out pre-emptive strikes. The campaign said that according to documents submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority, the working assumption is that the drones will fly two to three times a week when they are at the base. However, it added that a trial flight into the base in August last year ‘seriously disrupted UK passenger flights arriving into Birmingham airport’. CND general secretary Sophie Bolt said: “The Global Hawk is part of the US spying apparatus and has been for decades. “Whether it’s US nuclear weapons stationed at RAF Lakenheath or drone flights from RAF Fairford, these British bases are critical hubs for the US war-fighting machine. “With Donald Trump back in power, this is even more alarming. “Instead of hiding behind bogus arguments of national security, the British Government should be held accountable for the war crimes being perpetrated from these bases.” Director of Drone Wars Chris Cole said: “While in theory, the UK has to give approval for any military operations carried out from its territory, given that the UK Government is so determined to stand shoulder to shoulder with Washington, there must be serious questions as to whether the Government would ever refuse permission for flights, no matter what the purpose of the operation. “Allowing US drones to fly from Fairford is effectively handing Washington a blank cheque for its drone operations and must be challenged.”

Trump at WEF announcing nuclear disarmament!  President Donald Trump Calls For Denuclearization Talks With Russia And China President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum: “We’d like to see denuclearization. In fact, with President Putin, prior to an election result, which was, frankly, ridiculous, we were talking about denuclearization of our two countries, and China would have come along. President Donald Trump has said he wants to hold “denuclearization” talks with Russia and China now he is back in office. Why It Matters During Joe Biden’s presidency, Russia had suspended its participation in the New START arms control treaty, which is due to expire in 2026, in protest of U.S. support of Ukraine. Trump’s comments during the first week of his second term indicate that reducing nuclear stockpiles appears to be a key focus for his administration. Trump delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, where he discussed the prospect of talks with Russia and China to reduce nuclear weapon stockpiles. The president said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously held denuclearization discussions during Trump’s first term, but the talks were cut short after his 2020 election loss. Trump added that China “would have come along too” in the efforts to reduce nuclear stockpiles. He had made similar comments during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, which aired Wednesday. The United States has approximately 1,770 deployed nuclear warheads, while Russia holds around 1,710, according to estimates cited in a January 22 Congressional Research Service report. Putin expressed openness to discussing nuclear arms reductions with Trump after congratulating the U.S. president shortly before the Republican’s Monday inauguration, reported Reuters. In December, the Pentagon stated that China has 600 operational nuclear warheads, an increase of 100 from the 2023 estimate. A previous Pentagon report said China was on track to possess 1,000 nuclear weapons by 2030. China has supported Russia, politically and financially during the Ukraine invasion. Under the terms of the New START treaty, U.S. and Russian officials are able to inspect each country’s nuclear sites. Inspections have not occurred since the COVID pandemic. “China has a much smaller nuclear armament than us, but they’re going to be catching up at some point over the next four or five years. And I will tell you that President Putin really liked the idea of cutting way back on nuclear. And China would have come along too. And I think the rest of the world, we would have gotten them to follow. So, we want to see if we can denuclearize, and I think that’s very possible.” Trump during Fox News’ interview with Sean Hannity: “I was dealing with Putin about the denuclearization of Russia and the United States. And then we were going to bring China along on that one. I was very close to having a deal. I would have made a deal with Putin on that denuclearization. It’s very dangerous and very expensive, and that would have been great, but we had a bad election that interrupted us.” Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, in a state television address: “We see the statements by the newly elected president of the United States and members of his team about the desire to restore direct contacts with Russia. We also hear his statement about the need to do everything possible to prevent World War III. We, of course, welcome this attitude and congratulate the elected president of the United States of America on taking office.”

More evidence of US military indiscipline. Plane and helicopter collision near Washington. Trump suggests helicopter pilot or air traffic controllers to blame for fatal crash of American Airlines jet near Washington D.C. Noting that American Eagle Flight 5342, which was landing after a 2-hour and 45-minute flight from Wichita, Kan., was on a “perfect and routine line of approach to the airport,” Trump suggested that the control tower had failed to redirect the helicopter after it had strayed into the plane’s path. “The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane. “This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!” The crash took place just after 8:45 p.m. ET in crowded airspace near the flight path to land at Reagan National Airport’s Runway 33. Helicopters are allowed to fly in the area at low altitude in a corridor along the Washington D.C. side of the Potomac, Jeff Guzzetti, a former crash investigator with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board, told the Washington Post. The question for investigators will now be whether the Black Hawk “may or may not have been at the proper altitude and may or may not have seen the airplane,” Guzzetti said. The Army helicopter was on a training flight with three people on board. In the seconds before the crash, recordings show an air traffic controller asking the Black Hawk crew if they see the arriving American Airlines plane: “PAT25, do you have the CRJ in sight?” The air traffic controller quickly contacted the helicopter again: “PAT 25 pass behind the CRJ.” The helicopter pilot appears to confirm he sees the plane—those it’s not certain that he is referring to the American Airlines plane—and seems to request “visual separation” to fly out of the plane’s path while keeping it in sight. The two aircraft collided seconds later. Shortly after his initial post, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “What a terrible night this has been. God bless you all!” Several athletes and coaches from U.S. Figure Skating, including Russian-born Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, were aboard the plane when it went down.

‘The Air We Breath’ book by Glen Scrivener – Christianity. Is Christianity history? Or is Christian history the deepest explanation of the modern world? Today in the west, many consider the church to be dead or dying. Christianity is seen as outdated, bigoted and responsible for many of society’s problems. This leaves many believers embarrassed about their faith and many outsiders wary of religion. But what if the Christian message is not the enemy of our modern Western values, but the very thing that makes sense of them? In this fascinating book, Glen Scrivener takes readers on a journey to discover how the teachings of Jesus not only turned the ancient world upside down, but continue to underpin the way we think of life, worth, and meaning. Far from being a relic from the past, the distinctive ideas of Christianity, such as freedom, kindness, progress and equality, are a crucial part of the air that we breathe. As author Glen Scrivener says in his introduction: “The extraordinary impact of Christianity is seen in the fact that we don’t notice it”. This is a book for both believers and sceptics—giving Christians confidence to be open about their faith and showing non-Christians the ways in which the message of Jesus makes sense of their most cherished beliefs. Whoever you are, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the values you hold dear as you discover the power and profundity of Jesus and his revolution. Glen Scrivener is an ordained minister and the Director of Speak Life, an organisation that exists to share the love of Jesus through creative communication. He has also authored several books, including The Gift, 321, The Story of God, the World and You and Long Story Short: The Bible in 12 Phrases

All other episodes are still available on YouTube! – Explosive Secrets of the Freemasons When the House of Commons Affairs Committee recently recommended that police officers, magistrates, judges and crown officers should publicly register their masonic membership, it was very largely thanks to the ammunition provided by Martin Short’s investigative tour de force. A Sicilian mobster, a Sardinian financier and three others are accused of killing Calvi, whose death in June 1982 was initially ruled a suicide. Rome prosecutors say the Mafia murdered Calvi for stealing from them and from Italian financier Licio Gelli, who was the head of the shadowy P2 Masonic organisation. The trial opened yesterday and was adjourned until November 23rd after brief initial proceedings held inside a maximum-security prison in Italy’s capital. Convicted Cosa Nostra treasurer Pippo Calo listened via teleconference from his prison elsewhere in Italy. Calo was shown on a monitor in the courtroom, looking calm and wearing a dark sports coat with his hands folded in his lap. In a court document, prosecutors say Calo (74) ordered the murder. Calvi was “asphyxiated by strangulation and hanged in London under Blackfriars Bridge, on the Thames, in such a way as to simulate suicide”. He had bricks stuffed in his pockets and $15,000 on his person when found dangling from scaffolding under the bridge. His death came shortly after the bank he headed, Banco Ambrosiano, went bankrupt in a spectacular scandal involving loans to Latin American companies. Ambrosiano was then Italy’s largest private banking group and worked with the Vatican. It was Italy’s biggest post-war banking scandal, and one that implicated the Vatican, which had provided letters of credit for massive missing loans. After the initial suicide ruling, prosecutors say a more recent medical review found evidence pointing to murder, including the type of damage to Calvi’s neck bones. His hands and fingernails were also clean. If he had stuffed bits of brick in his own pockets and climbed a rusting scaffolding to hang himself, prosecutors have argued, there would have been traces of dirt. The other defendants are Sardinian financier Flavio Carboni, his Austrian former girlfriend Manuela Kleinszig, businessman and alleged Rome crime boss Ernesto Diotallevi and Calvi’s former bodyguard, Silvano Vittor. Prosecutors allege Mr Carboni and Mr Vittor went to London with Calvi to deliver him to the people who would murder him, according to court documents and Vittor’s lawyer. They allege that Calvi, president of the failing Banco Ambrosiano, was laundering money for the Mafia, and that Calo ordered his murder because Mafia bosses were angry at Calvi for appropriating Mafia money and were afraid the banker would talk.

If the accounts in the Bible are correct, the time of Jesus birth would have been closer to mid-summer, for this is when shepherds would have been “tending their flocks in the field” and the new lambs were born. Strange enough there is an ancient pagan religion, Mithraism, which dates back over 2,800 years that also celebrated the birth of their “savior” on that date. Many elements in the story of Jesus’ life and birth are either coincidental or borrowings from earlier and contemporary pagan religions. The most obviously similar of these is Mithraism. Roman Mithraism was a mystery religion with sacrifice and initiation. Like other mystery cults, there’s little recorded literary evidence. What we know comes mainly from Christian detractors and archaeological evidence from Mithraic temples, inscriptions, and artistic representations of the god and other aspects of the cult. In an EAWC (Exploring Ancient World Cultures) essay entitled Mithraism, Alison Griffith explains Cumont’s theory of a Zoroastrian origin for the Roman Mithraist religion. While this theory is disputed, there was a Mitra in the Hindu pantheon and a minor deity named Mithra among the Persians as well. Cumont came to believe the religion spread westward from Eastern Roman provinces. However, as Griffith explains, there is little evidence of a Zoroastrian Mithra cult and most evidence for Mithraic worship comes from the western portion of the empire from which Cumont correctly deduced that “Mithraism was most popular among legionaries (of all ranks), and the members of the more marginal social groups who were not Roman citizens: freedmen, slaves, and merchants from various provinces….” No women were allowed. The Dawning of the Age of Aries – Ulansey says the main problem with basing Mithraism on a Zoroastrian cult is that there is no evidence that the Zoroastrians’ Mithra practiced bull killing, the central aspect of Roman Mithraic iconography. An image of Mithras killing the bull holds pride of place in each mithraeum (cave-like temple for the worship of Mithras). Ulansey believes the images of Mithras slaying the bull are actually astronomical star maps. In support of this he points out that all the figures represented in the iconography have a place in the constellations (Taurus, Canis Minor, Hydra, Corvus, and Scorpio). He says that the other iconography and even the initiation ceremonies are consistently astronomical….

ChatGPT produces CO2 equivalent of over 250 transatlantic flights monthly, study finds Other AI carbon heavy hitters include Rytr and Spellbook. Anyone with concerns about the environmental impact of flying commercial should probably be aware of how much carbon is produced by using AI tools like ChatGPT: Each month, the AI chatbot produces more than 260,930 kilograms of CO2—equal to the carbon emissions of 260 flights from New York City to London. The comparison comes from a recent study by KnownHost, a website hosting provider that looked at the carbon emissions of popular AI tools. Its research broke down emissions by how many users each tool has, as well as how energy-efficient it is. For example, Rytr, an AI writing tool, produces 1,057 kilograms of CO2 monthly, and Spellbook, which drafts contracts using AI, produces 20 kilograms a month. However, both produce more CO2 per page view than ChatGPT does. ChatGPT only produces 1.59 grams of CO2 per page view—compared with Rytr’s 10.1 and Spellbook’s 6.5. On the other hand, ChatGPT—which boasts more than 164 million monthly users—is immensely more popular than Rytr and Spellbook. So ChatGPT’s emissions are boosted more by its popularity than contained by its energy efficiency. Data centres, which tend to host AI applications like ChatGPT, will demand ever more energy. Berkeley Lab’s 2024 United States Data Center Energy Usage Report found that data centre energy demand more than doubled from 2017 to 2023, and it looks like such an increase will happen again: According to the International Energy Agency’s Electricity 2024 report, the amount of energy used by recent technological advances like data centres, AI, and cryptocurrency “could double” by next year. A third of that increase would be from just data centres. “Electricity consumption of US data centres is currently growing at an accelerating rate,” according to Berkeley Lab’s report. KnownHost CEO Daniel Pearson said in a statement that these figures show the importance of energy efficiency in AI infrastructure. “As innovation continues into 2025, balancing environmental sustainability will need to become a core focus for tech companies and the users of their tools alike,” he said. And the Biden administration seems to agree: In one of the president’s final executive orders, he offered a solution to data centres’ energy consumption, writing that the US, which houses 33% of the world’s data centres, should operate them using “clean power.” “The United States must not be surpassed in its support for the development, commercialisation, and operation of clean energy technologies at home and abroad,” the executive order said. “The rapid buildout of AI infrastructure offers another vital opportunity to accelerate and deploy these energy technologies.”

AI uses as much energy as a Country AI already uses as much energy as a small country. It’s only the beginning. The energy needed to support data storage is expected to double by 2026. You can do something to stop it. In January, the International Energy Agency (IEA) issued its forecast for global energy use over the next two years. Included for the first time were projections for electricity consumption associated with data centres, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence. The IEA estimates that, added together, this usage represented almost 2 percent of global energy demand in 2022 — and that demand for these uses could double by 2026, which would make it roughly equal to the amount of electricity used by the entire country of Japan. We live in the digital age, where many of the processes that guide our lives are hidden from us inside computer code. We are watched by machines behind the scenes that bill us when we cross toll bridges, guide us across the internet, and deliver us music we didn’t even know we wanted. All of this takes material to build and run — plastics, metals, wiring, water — and all of that comes with costs. Those costs require trade-offs. None of these trade-offs is as important as in energy. As the world heats up toward increasingly dangerous temperatures, we need to conserve as much energy as we can get to lower the amount of climate-heating gases we put into the air. That’s why the IEA’s numbers are so important, and why we need to demand more transparency and greener AI going forward. And it’s why right now we need to be conscientious consumers of new technologies, understanding that every bit of data we use, save, or generate has a real-world cost. One of the areas with the fastest-growing demand for energy is the form of machine learning called generative AI, which requires a lot of energy for training and a lot of energy for producing answers to queries. Training a large language model like OpenAI’s GPT-3, for example, uses nearly 1,300 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity, the annual consumption of about 130 US homes. According to the IEA, a single Google search takes 0.3 watt-hours of electricity, while a ChatGPT request takes 2.9 watt-hours. (An incandescent light bulb draws an average of 60 watt-hours of juice.) If ChatGPT were integrated into the 9 billion searches done each day, the IEA says, the electricity demand would increase by 10 terawatt-hours a year — the amount consumed by about 1.5 million European Union residents. I recently spoke with Sasha Luccioni, lead climate researcher at an AI company called Hugging Face, which provides an open-source online platform for the machine learning community that supports the collaborative, ethical use of artificial intelligence. Luccioni has researched AI for more than a decade, and she understands how data storage and machine learning contribute to climate change and energy consumption — and are set to contribute even more in the future.

Microsoft offsets energy usage of AI by planting trees – Microsoft secures deal to restore Amazon rainforest and offset AI emissions Tech giant acquires carbon credits worth around $200mn, as energy usage surges due to generative artificial intelligence Aerial view of a deforested area of the Amazon rainforest Microsoft’s carbon footprint in 2023 was more than 17mn tonnes of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, a 40% increase compared with about 12mn tonnes in Microsoft will pay to restore parts of Brazil’s Amazon and Atlantic forests in exchange for hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of carbon credits, becoming the latest Big Tech player to bet that nature-based solutions can offset an artificial intelligence-driven surge in greenhouse gas emissions. The $3.2tn US company told the Financial Times it had signed a deal to buy 3.5mn credits over 25 years from Re.green, a Brazilian start-up which buys up farming and cattle land. It restores the land by planting native tree species, in projects financed through carbon credits and timber sales. Neither company disclosed a value for the deal, but recent market analysis suggests it could be worth around $200mn. Microsoft’s recent dealmaking has made it one of the biggest buyers of nature-based carbon removals globally. The deal comes as groups including Microsoft, Google and Amazon invest heavily in data centres to cope with the huge demand stemming from the growth of generative AI. But the buildout is leading to a surge in their energy usage and complicating their pledges to investors to curb emissions. President Donald Trump’s incoming administration has downgraded curbing climate change as a priority and instead declared an “energy emergency” to boost fossil fuel production in the US, citing the challenges faced by data centres in meeting energy demands. But US-based tech companies are still for the moment “the biggest buyers” of carbon credits linked to nature restoration projects through agreements to buy credits in future decades, said Thiago Picolo, chief executive of Re.green. “They’re not alone but they’re at the leading edge.” Increasingly energy intensive data centres still obtain power from grids where oil, coal and gas are burnt for fuel. This means tech companies seeking to meet their green pledges rely on buying credits that represent a tonne of greenhouse gases removed or reduced. Tech groups also buy renewable energy credits representing investments in wind or solar at home or abroad. Amazon, Google and Microsoft have all also invested in nuclear energy. Microsoft’s carbon footprint in 2023 was more than 17mn tonnes of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, a 40 per cent increase compared with around 12mn tonnes in 2020. It arrived at this number after using renewable energy investments and credits to cancel out some emissions from its energy use. The company wants to become “carbon negative” by the end of the decade by cutting emissions and investing in carbon removal credits.

Annie Machon, former MI5 Officer, on the 1993 Bishops Gate bomb and the Good Friday Agreement. Trump gets ceasefire in Gaza. ‘MI5 could have stopped the bomb going off’ First published in – www.punch.co.uk – Punch Magazine, issue 111, July26th – August 28th 2000 pp. 10-12 The Bishopsgate blast in 1993 was one of the worst acts of terrorism London has ever seen. David Shayler reveals the damning truth about the catastrophe. The story begins on Friday August 7, 1992, during an MI5 investigation into the Provisional IRA (PIRA the MI5 term) operation on the British mainland. An MI5 officer is on the third floor of the organisation’s building in Curzon Street, drafting the situation report for the investigation into an active service unit (ASU) which has been followed, moving suspicious trucks around West London. Reporting indicates that the ASU is planning a large-scale attack in London, like the ones that took place six months earlier at the Baltic Exchange in the City and at Staples Corner near the M1/M25 intersection. The situation report will go out to all services involved in the operation, updating them on the state of play. That Friday evening, all is calm. The joint Met S Squad/MI5 surveillance team has tracked the lorry to a trailer park in Northwest London. The ASU is under control and it looks like any potential attack will be thwarted and the culprits caught red-handed. This is the last operation with the MPSB (the Metropolitan Police Special Branch), leading the intelligence investigation. Home Secretary Kenneth Clarke has already decided to switch the roles of MI5 and the MPSB for IRA investigations in Britain. After October 1, 1992, MI5 will be in charge and MPSB will offer support. That night, a special operation team makes a covert entry into the lorry yard and drills a hole in the top of the trailer. This reveals that it contains up to 300lbs of home-made explosive and possibly detonators. In the MI5 jargon, this makes the lorry a “vehicle-borne improvised explosive device”. It appears to hold well over twice the amount of ammonium nitrate and sugar (which form the explosive compound) used at the Baltic Exchange or Staples Corner. The intelligence services do not know the actual targets of the potential attack. Officers are speculating that these might include key centres of the UK infrastructure or economy like the Telecom Tower, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, Canary Wharf or even the MI5 building itself. Now that the special operations team has confirmed that the vehicle is ready to be primed, it seems likely that any planned attack is imminent. Over the weekend, the heads of the services involved meet and agree to arrest the ASU when they return to pick up the lorry. Sure enough, in the following days the ASU returns. The Met’s anti-terrorist squad takes control of the operation from intelligence teams because “executive action” – in other words arrests – are imminent. They wait until the members of the ASU -around four or five individuals, some of whom have not been identified – further incriminate themselves by touching or checking the trailer. As the targets gather around the truck, the leader of the surveillance team at the site tries to contact George Churchill-Coleman, the then head of the anti-terrorist squad and one of Britain’s most senior policemen. The man in situ wants to brief Churchill-Coleman with the updates and ask for permission to arrest the suspected terrorists. He tries the operations rooms on the 18th floor of New Scotland Yard. He tries Churchill-Coleman’s mobile number. It is switched off. The New Scotland Yard operations room tries to track down the elusive head of Britain’s terrorist policing – and fails. The officer at the site knows that if he gives the order without first clearing it with his boss he will be to blame should anything go wrong. This is not a matter of legal procedure or a hard-and -fast rule; the officer at the scene can give the arrest order, if he wishes. He decides against doing so. He has his future in the police to think about and, in any case, the Met should be able to track down Churchill-Coleman shortly. The latter does, after all, know that there is a serious counter-terrorist operation proceeding apace. But Churchill-Coleman does not get in touch. Suddenly, the ASU start to file out of the lorry yard. One by one they leave. None of the many of policemen or intelligence officers present dare to give the arrest order…. As the final member of the ASU leaves the yard, he seems to have spotted the surveillance. He smiles and gives a cocky thumbs-up before climbing into a car and roaring off….

Anti genocide protest in London on Saturday – weren’t allowed to march to BBC as near a Synagogue. Tony Greenstein – Ivor Caplain, former Labour MP, and child sex abuse – protestors put in prison on Saturday – Prince Harry wins court case against Murdoch News – TonyGreenstein104@gmail.com to buy his books, AZVSAS.blogspot.com, TonyGreenstein.com. Why are the Police, the BBC & National Press Refusing to Even Mention ex-Hove MP Ivor Caplin’s Arrest? Compare This to My Arrest – Sussex Police & the CPS Can Be Relied on To Do Their Utmost to Avoid Prosecuting Caplin WARNING –you may find some of the pictures below this post offensive – they were all posted by Ivor Caplin and illustrates his interests You might think that the arrest of a former Defence Minister and government Whip on charges of child grooming would make the pages of all the national dailies. But if so you would be wrong? Only the Daily Mail did so. The BBC had a short report Man arrested on suspicion of child sex offence but it did not name him. This narrowed down the suspects to a mere half of the population. The only clues to Caplin’s identity were that he was 66 and local to Brighton (in fact he is local to Hove). Compare this to the BBC’s coverage of my arrest. ‘Terrorism charge over man’s online comments’ which gave both my name and the street where I live. Why the disparity? When I was arrested and charged this was covered by the BBC and the Brighton Argus which published an article Brighton man charged with terror offences over Hamas comments which both named me and the street where I live. On Caplin’s arrest they printed nothing. Brighton & Hove News went one further with ‘Tony Greenstein charged with terrorism offence’ from which you might assume that I had been found with a bomb in my pocket rather than having published a blog that was not to the Police’s liking. When Caplin, a former Under-Secretary of State for Defence and Veteran’s Minister as well as former Chair of the genocide supporters of the Jewish Labour Movement, was arrested the Jewish Chronicle, which had extensively covered my previous arrest deleted an article on the arrest. Only the Jewish News led on ‘Caplin arrested on ‘suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child’. When I was expelled from the Labour Party the Jewish Chronicle ran a story, Tony Greenstein expelled from Labour Party over abusive behaviour which quoted Caplin ‘Welcoming the decision to expel Mr Greenstein, Ivor Caplin, south east chair of the Jewish Labour Movement, said: “His continued membership is at complete odds with our collective values of solidarity, tolerance and respect. “Deliberately harassing, intimidatory and hateful language of the kind Tony Greenstein has continually used has no place inside the Labour movement. “Despite the unacceptably long time it has taken to reach this conclusion, we are heartened that the party has sent out a clear message on this today. “We will continue to press the party to deal firmly and swiftly with antisemitism, including the high number of cases that are still waiting to be resolved.” The only national paper, bar the Mail, which led on Caplin’s arrest was the Scottish National which reported that Former Labour minister arrested after vigilante paedophile sting. The Guardian of course said nothing which is not surprising since Caplin had been such an integral part of their false ‘anti-Semitism’ campaign in the Labour Party. There is an easy explanation. Caplin is a prominent Zionist. I suspect that great efforts will be made to prove that Caplin was only trying to contact a 15 year old boy in order that they could play chess together! And what of the Police? When I was charged they issued a statement which said: “A 70-year-old man has been charged with a terrorism offence as part of an investigation by officers from Counter Terrorism South East (CTPSE). “Anthony Greenstein, of XXXX, Brighton, has been charged with one count of inviting support for a proscribed organisation, namely Hamas, contrary to Section 12(1) of the Terrorism Act 2000. “The charge is in connection with comments made online on Saturday 7 October 2023. “He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 12 December.

Piers Corbyn arrested at protest on Saturday and the new Climate and Nature Bill X @Piers_Corbyn. ‘A frightening lurch towards political repression in Britain’ Police arrest 77 protesters during national demonstration for Palestine January 18, 2025 THE Metropolitan Police waged a direct assault on freedom of assembly at Saturday’s national demonstration for Palestine — then spun a misleading narrative to justify its repressive actions, organisers warned today. Officers embarked on a harsh crackdown at the London rally, arresting 77 protesters — the highest number seen in over 20 pro-Gaza demonstrations. Vice-chair of Stop the War Chris Nineham, chief steward of the rally, was among those violently arrested at the protest already marred by police disruption. Following pressure from pro-Israel groups, the force backtracked on pre-approved plans for the demonstration to begin at the BBC, claiming it risked disrupting services at a nearby synagogue. Protest organisers, including Stop the War and Palestine Solidarity Campaign, instead planned a peaceful static rally at Whitehall. The Met confirmed the location as “acceptable.” But on the day, the protest was confronted with “extremely heavy-handed and aggressive policing,” a statement by the group said. The police imposed Public Order Act conditions in various areas. Organisers said there was a “series of complex restrictions preventing people from assembling at various points on Whitehall at various times of the day,” given with less than 24 hours’ notice. “As a result, a number of people were arrested without warning, on flimsy pretexts including simply for inadvertently standing in this central area at the wrong time,” they said. At the end of the rally, to protest against the ban on the original route, it was announced that a small delegation, including an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor, would walk silently in that direction, but that no attempt would be made to push through police lines. According to organisers, the delegation was not stopped at the police line but invited through by officers into Trafalgar Square. They then encountered another line at the other end of the square. While the delegation waited for a response to their request to be let through, organisers said that police “violently and for no apparent reason arrested the chief steward of the rally, Chris Nineham.”

Ben Abrahamson, Rabbi, on what Zionism means, the religious importance of Israel to Judaism, and how Temple Mount is so large it could easily be shared. His latest paper SIGNS OF THE HOUR & THE MESSIAH Ben Abrahamson Alsadiqin Institute, Al-Quds Jerusalem This paper explores the intersection of religious and social crises in the contemporary world, emphasizing the conflicts between science and religion, among religions, and within religions themselves. The paper discusses how the breakdown of trust in societal institutions creates a vacuum that gives rise to a new form of religion based on technological advancements and media influence, being symptomatic of a deeper rebellion against the Creator. After a survey of traditional Rabbinic eschatology, it compares various traditions, including the roles of the Mahdi, Messiah, Armilus and the Dajjal, suggesting that these diverse narratives are representations of the same eschatological events seen from different perspectives. It discusses how propaganda and misinformation, especially in the digital age, have become what might be termed “the mindset of the Dajjal”. The paper concludes with a reflection on the hadith about the rise of “harj”—a time of deceit and internal conflict—and how the believers with the best intentions may find themselves becoming armies of the Dajjal. – – Paraphrasing Rabbi Eliyahu Benamozegh: Everyone agrees that we are going through a great religious and social crisis, but it is not so generally noticed that this presents itself in three aspects. First, the conflict between religion and science which is in an acute state and consequently brings into relief the antagonism between religions. Since the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution, advances in technology have brought with them enormous economic and military benefit. Although there is no fundamental reason for religion and science to be incompatible, the seemingly endless squabbling and sectarianism among the religious has caused the proponents of technological advancement to distance themselves from religion, even to the point of condemning it. Second, the conflict between religions, and within them. Even if the need for religious unity is understood by all, there are fundamental disagreements on the nature of the true religion. Even the Abrahamic faiths, who’s prophets are brothers from different mothers, are far from getting along. This is how the antagonism between modern civilization and religion is added to that of antagonism between religions. Does peace reign within each of these different religions? Not at all. Various tendencies are constantly working to disturb the interior harmony of the faithful. Wherever an external authority does not impose silence on discordant voices, the differences appear in broad daylight; they voice freely their professions of faith, the number of which continues to multiply. Where an authority is opposed to any hint of independence, unity is only apparent. One keeps silent, or takes refuge in equivocation. Third, we are dealing with the base nature of man. Whether it is the generation of the flood who believed that everyone was free to do as they pleased, or the generation of the dispersion who’s leader Nimrod built the Tower of Babel to unify mankind to declare war on God. The common theme is rebellion against the Creator: “Why have nations gathered and [why do] kingdoms think vain things? Kings of a land stand up, and nobles take counsel together against the Lord and against His messiah? Let us break their bands and cast off their cords from us.” (Psalm 2:1-3) The above manifests itself in a breakdown of trust…..

Prince Harry wins high court phone hacking case report. Today BBC – former Guardian editor Alan Rushbridger on how behaviour of Murdoch press means people don’t trust legacy media. Kevin Cahill, former Deputy Editor of the Sunday Times Rich List, explains Murdoch has admitted to himself and his senior managers perverting the course of justice and committing perjury, both very serious crimes. But the Met police are refusing to investigate. The News Of The World was closed down in 2011 not out of embarrassment but to destroy email and other documentary evidence that it had been committing very serious crimes such as blackmail, and phone hacking of MPs, judges and the royal family. on what it was like in the Murdoch media world and how crimes were committed. Prince Harry claims ‘monumental victory’ over tabloid legal battle Prince Harry and the former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson have claimed a “monumental victory” after settling their legal action against The Sun’s publishers. Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers offered both men a “full and unequivocal” apology for “serious intrusion” into their private lives. It also admitted phone hacking, surveillance and misuse of private information and will pay both of them substantial seven-figure damages, around £10,000,000.00 each. In a statement read outside court on behalf of the Duke of Sussex and Lord Watson, Harry’s lawyer David Sherborne said: “In a monumental victory today, News UK have admitted that The Sun, the flagship title for Rupert Murdoch’s UK media empire, has indeed engaged in illegal practices. “This represents a vindication for the hundreds of other claimants who were strong-armed into settling, without being able to get to the truth of what was done to them. “After endless resistance, denials and legal battles by News Group Newspapers, including spending more than a billion pounds in payouts and in legal costs (as well as paying-off those in the know) to prevent the full picture from coming out, News UK is finally held to account for its illegal actions and its blatant disregard for the law. It has also specifically admitted wrongdoing against Tom Watson, and admitted unlawful acts by The Sun, as well as by the News of the World, against Prince Harry. “The truth that has now been exposed is that NGN unlawfully engaged more than 100 private investigators over at least 16 years on more than 35,000 occasions. This happened as much at The Sun as it did at the News of the World, with the knowledge of all the Editors and executives, going to the very top of the company. “What’s even worse is that in the wake of the 2006 arrest of a Royal correspondent, there was an extensive conspiracy to cover up what really had been going on and who knew about it. Senior executives deliberately obstructed justice by deleting over 30 million emails, destroying back-up tapes, and making false denials – all in the face of an on-going police investigation. They then repeatedly lied under oath to cover their tracks – both in Court and at the Leveson Public Inquiry. “At her trial, in 2014 Rebekah Brooks, said “when I was Editor of The Sun we ran a clean ship”. Now, 10 years later when she is CEO of the company, they now admit, when she was Editor of The Sun, they ran a criminal enterprise. “Far from being relics of a distant past, many of those behind these unlawful practices remain firmly entrenched in senior positions today, both within News UK and other media outlets across the world, wielding editorial power and perpetuating the toxic culture in which they continue to thrive. It’s perhaps no surprise that all of their senior executives and editors refused to turn up to court to give evidence. The failure of each of these key individuals to come and answer questions under oath spoke volumes in itself, but their collective silence is deafening. “Today’s result has been achieved only through the sheer resilience of Prince Harry and Lord Watson, whose willingness to take NGN to trial has led directly to this historic admission of unlawfulness at The Sun. It has only been by taking NGN – not just to the steps of court but inside the court room itself – that these Claimants have finally managed to extract this historic admission of guilt. “As a direct result of him taking a stand, Prince Harry and his immediate family have also had to repeatedly withstand aggressive and vengeful coverage since starting his claim over five years ago. This has created serious concerns for the security of him and his family. “The rule of law must now run its full course. Prince Harry & Tom Watson join others in calling for the police and Parliament to investigate not only the unlawful activity now finally admitted, but the perjury and cover ups along the way. Its clear now this has occurred throughout this process, including through sworn evidence in inquiries and court hearings, and in testimony to Parliament, until today’s final collapse of NGN’s defence. “Today the lies are laid bare. Today, the cover-ups are exposed. And today proves that no one stands above the law. The time for accountability has arrived.”

Axel Rudakubana, Southport triple child murderer, craved notoriety – The ‘spark’ appears to have been ignited in October 2019, shortly after Rudakubana started in Year 9 at the Range High School in Formby. He rang Childline claiming he was being racially bullied and was taking a knife into school to protect himself, adding: ‘What should I do if I want to kill somebody?’ In a chilling glimpse at what was to come last summer, Rudakubana later returned to the school armed with a hockey stick and settled his perceived grievances by attacking children he held to have wronged him. When the police were called, a kitchen knife was found in his backpack. Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told his sentencing hearing today: ‘In the days that followed he explained that he hated someone at school who’d bullied him. ‘He felt angry and wanted to kill them. He said he had taken a knife to school but would only use it if the person really annoyed him.’ A classmate told the Daily Mail of that attack: ‘He only stopped when two teachers managed to get hold of him. ‘When we heard it was Axel who had attacked the dance studio, we all said, “Thank goodness it was only a hockey stick he brought in that day”.’ A referral was made to the police, who visited Rudakubana. ‘To them he confirmed that he had indeed taken a knife to school and added that he thought he would use it if he became angry,’ Ms Heer said. ‘The school was informed. By this time, the defendant had been temporarily excluded. ‘But he has admitted taking a knife to school on about 10 occasions, when he did so the school made his exclusion permanent.’ Referrals were made to the Multi-Agency Safeguard Hub (MASH), the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and social services. On October 17, 2019, Rudakubana was enrolled at The Acorns School, Ormskirk, which is a Pupil Referral Unit. During his admission meeting, he was asked why he had taken a knife to school. He replied: ‘To use it.’ ‘The knife incident and then the hockey stick attack seem to have been the start of him becoming obsessed with the most horrific violence, eventually culminating in the attack on the dance studio,’ the source told the Mail. ‘That was the spark which started everything.’ Rudakubana then attended two specialists schools, The Acorns School in Lancashire and Presfield High School & Specialist College in Southport. Teachers were concerned about his behaviour there too. His in-person attendance at Presfield was less than 1%. Rudakubana was known to the local social services, who would request the police come along with them to meetings for their protection. Liverpool Crown Court heard that following reports of incidents at home, the defendant stopped attending school in May 2021. Ms Heer said: ‘On March 17, 2022, he was reported missing. He was found by the police in possession of a small kitchen knife. ‘He said that he wanted to stab someone so that he would get into trouble and his Tik Tok account, which contained embarrassing videos that he was unable to delete, would be closed down by the police. ‘He said he had also thought about poisoning people and/or had tried to make poison for the same reason.’ Prosecutor Deanna Heer said in July 2020 he returned to school under two to one supervision. In February 2021 he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and in April 2021 he received a formal education and healthcare plan (EHCP). It has now emerged that he was referred to the government anti-extremism scheme Prevent three times before the murders, amid concerns over his fixation with violence. The first, in November 2019, was made because he had been researching school shootings during an information technology class. In February 2021, another referral was made following reports that he had uploaded to Instagram two images of Colonel Gadaffi. And in April 2021, a third referral was made because he had been found researching the London Bridge terror attack. The teenager was spending his time locked away in his bedroom researching genocide and watching graphic videos of murder. ‘He was absolutely obsessed with genocides,’ one senior official was quoted as saying. ‘He could name every genocide in history and how many people were killed – Rwanda, Genghis Khan, Hitler. It’s all he wanted to talk about. ‘Just as some children are fixated on football, they know all the players, all their stats, he was the same about genocidal killers and bloody dictators. ‘If you wanted to know about the IRA’s killing campaign or Colonel Gaddafi’s brutal regime, Rudakubana could tell you all about it. ‘He collected books and literature and read up on it obsessively. The nastier it was, the more interesting he found it. ‘It’s just chilling how he went from being an apparently normal Year 9 kid to becoming just uncontrollably evil.’

Order of the Nine Angles. Neo Nazi satanist Cameron Finnigan – report. Neo-nazi satanist jailed for encouraging girls to kill themselves Neo-Nazi satanist Cameron Finnigan was jailed for encouraging suicide online and possessing terror material (Picture: PA) A satanic neo-Nazi has been jailed for six years for encouraging girls to kill themselves and self-harm. Cameron Finnigan, 19, joined a satanic extremist group known as 764 in late 2023 and encouraged a girl to hang herself ‘for me’ so he could share footage of it in a group chat. He was arrested in March 2024 and pleaded guilty to encouraging suicide, possessing terrorist documents and having indecent images of children. The 764 group has links to the Order of Nine Angles, a Nazi occultist group linked to a series of crimes. Finnigan, who also suffered with a number of mental health problems, communicated with other 764 members on the Telegram, Discord and Snapchat apps. One of his usernames was ACID and he used a Pin code of 1969, the date the Satanic Bible was first published. He chatted to an individual believed to be a young girl who told him she was considering suicide. Finnigan encouraged her to hang herself using a rope and wanted her to stream it online so he could claim it for 764, the Old Bailey was told. Prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones KC said Finnigan, who was said to be autistic and lived with his adoptive mother, father and biological sister in Horsham, West Sussex, became involved with 764 in October or November 2023. The judge also heard that Finnegan told the group he was planning to kill a homeless person living in a tent near his home as part of a ‘terror week’ advertised by the group which encouraged members to engage in a ‘campaign of violence’. Police never found evidence of an attempt to kill the victim, but a picture of the tent was found in the chat alongside a message from the defendant that said, ‘I’m waiting’. Finnigan also accessed an 11-page terrorist document which provided advice on how to carry out ‘truck attacks’, giving instructions on the type of vehicle and ideal targets. He was arrested last March on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of a firearm, although despite claims made to 764 members online, there was no evidence that he ever had a gun. Searches of his home address revealed a large tapestry of the ‘Satanic Beast’ in his bedroom, knives, swastikas, and pentagrams associated with satanism. A punchbag with a number of slash and stab marks was found outside his bedroom, the court was told. Indecent images of children were found on his electronic devices as well as material bearing the 764 logo depicting murder, mutilation, rape and interference with a foetus. The defendant had filmed himself carving words on to a car bonnet and puncturing the tyres with a large kitchen knife. When asked during a police interview about encouraging the girl to kill herself, Finnigan said his only concern was ‘if she went through with it and I got caught’. Undated handout photo issued by Counter Terrorism Policing South East of a knife found in the house of Neo-Nazi satanist Cameron Finnigan, 19, has been jailed at the Old Bailey for six years with an extended licence period of three years after admitting he encouraged girls to kill themselves and self-harm online. When asked if he would have been concerned about ‘whether she was dead or not’, he responded: ‘I don’t think about stuff in that moment.’ The court also heard that he told police he felt ‘pretty confident that (she) would not commit suicide’. Sentencing, Mr Justice Jay shared a psychological report which diagnosed Finnigan with a number of mental health issues but added they did not believe he exhibited core features of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). The judge handed Finnigan a sentence of six years in jail with an extended licence period of three years. He added: ‘According to the pre-sentence report, the risk you pose is both indiscriminate and unpredictable, and I agree with that assessment. ‘I also wholly endorse the overarching assessment that you pose a high risk of serious harm to the public, including children.’

Trump’s Inauguration Speech. Reverend Franklyn Graham, son of Billy Graham, gives prayers for Trump. Invocation on Inauguration Day Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archbishop of New York, is one of two religious leaders who offered an opening prayer during Monday’s ceremony, according to Religion News Service. The Rev. Dolan is a prominent Catholic leader in the United States, but he’s not known to be part of Trump’s inner circle. He did not endorse Trump in 2024, Religion News Service reported. However, the Rev. Dolan did participate in Trump’s first inauguration in 2017. He read a prayer from the Book of Wisdom. The Rev. Franklin Graham Unlike the Rev. Dolan, the Rev. Franklin Graham is well-known for his support of Trump and appeared at several campaign events in 2024. He also backed Trump in 2016, Religion News Service reported. The Rev. Trump: ‘God saved me to make America great again’ Donald Trump, inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States, said God had saved him from assassination in order to make America great again. In his inaugural address, he said the country “would not forget their God” and would be respected throughout the world, including by people of religion, faith and good will. In a departure from tradition, he did not place his hand on the Bible to be sworn in, despite it being held next to him. Prayers were said by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and the Rev. Franklin Graham, son of the US evangelist Billy Graham, who praised God for saving Trump’s life and “raising him with strength and power”. Over the past four years, he was sure Trump had been through dark times: “But look what God has done”, he said. Rabbi Ari Berman, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell and the Rev Frank Mann led the benediction prayers, but Imam Husham Al-Husainy was unexpectedly missing. Earlier Trump, his family, advisers and the leaders of Meta, Google, Amazon and X, attended a service for the incoming president. In his inauguration speech Trump declared national emergencies on energy and immigration, promised to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, vowed to take back the Panama Canal, promised to end diversity programmes and said only two genders will be recognised – male and female. Last night he signed 78 presidential executive orders, undoing Biden policies. Harley Shlanger, from La Rouche Public Affairs Committee, on who’s in charge – UK or US? The inauguration of Donald Trump coincides with Day 1 of the WEF meeting in Davos. It is not fully clear what Trump will do with a second term. His promise to end the “endless wars” would be a good start. Meetings with Putin and Xi are coming, also reasons for hope. As for the economy??? Many questions remain — the key will be cooperation with the BRICS rather than confrontation, which requires the take down of the post 9/11 “security state.” Mobilize support for the confirmation of Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, and Kash Patel as Director of the FBI. “Liars’ Bureau” exposing the criminals trying to block the confirmations of Gabbard and Patel: Yes, it is indeed true that the national security of the U.S. is under threat by various forms of meddling and malicious intriguesbut the problem does not originate in Russia, China, Iran, or any of the other nations on the neocon “bad guys” list. The threat emanates from long-term operatives embedded deep within the permanent bureaucracy of the U.S. government, and their mentors in the intelligence agencies, foundations and think-tanks of the British establishment. These corrupt individuals, and their sponsors, have operated with impunity for decades, because they dominate the very agencies which supposedly defend our national security. Now they fear exposure, because incoming President Trump has nominated two highly qualified “outsiders” to oversee and clean up those agencies. This is why a “Liars’ Bureau,” which lives principally in the bowels of the 17 (or more) American intelligence agencies, and their illegal, criminal and even murderous spin-offs, is now mobilized on the orders of London and Wall Street to stop the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel. As Senator Chuck Schumer warned Donald Trump, “You take on the intelligence community? They have six ways from Sunday to get back at you.” Gabbard and Patel are not without their faults, and no one can say with certainty what they will do once they assume office. But we can with certainty tell you who fears their scrutiny, and why. In this report, we will identify five specific areas where dangerous corruption exists, and where the leadership of Gabbard and Patel is urgently required in order to root it out:

150 new US nukes B61-12 in Europe. US deploys upgraded nuclear weapons in Europe – The new B61-12 gravity bombs are “fully forward deployed,” according to the US National Nuclear Security Administration The US has completed the installation of its primary thermonuclear weapon in military bases across Europe, according to National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Director, Jill Hruby. While she did not elaborate on the term “full forward deployment,” previous B61 variants have been stored in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Türkiye under NATO’s nuclear sharing program. Moscow estimates that at least 150 of these bombs are deployed across Europe, lowering the nuclear threshold. “The new B61-12 gravity bombs are fully forward deployed, and we have increased NATO’s visibility to our nuclear capabilities through visits to our enterprise and other regular engagements,” Hruby said in remarks at the Hudson Institute on Thursday. US paving way to put nuclear-capable jets in Greenland – Moscow READ MORE: US paving way to put nuclear-capable jets in Greenland – Moscow The US also plans to deploy its nukes in the UK, according to multiple reports, citing procurement contracts for a new Pentagon facility at the RAF station in Lakenheath, Suffolk, to house B61-12 bombs. “Our strategic partnership with the UK is very strong, as is their commitment to their nuclear deterrent. And we have advanced our thinking together about critical supply chain resilience,” Hruby added without providing further details. The Pentagon announced an adjustment to its nuclear deterrence strategy in November. Key elements include increased readiness of nuclear-armed and -powered Ohio-class submarines and the development of the B61-13 gravity bomb to provide the US with “additional options against certain harder and larger military targets.” The NNSA confirmed that it is already transitioning to produce the new variant of the bomb. The Kremlin has consistently criticized US military buildups, warning that the global deployment of nuclear-capable bombs and missiles could provoke a proportional response. In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a change in the nation’s nuclear doctrine to stipulate that “an aggression against the Russian Federation and/or its allies by any non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear state will be regarded as their joint attack.” Oreshnik launch a response to US military expansion in Europe – Lavrov READ MORE: Oreshnik launch a response to US military expansion in Europe – Lavrov The changes were approved in November, after the US and several Western nations allowed Ukraine to use foreign-made long-range weapons for strikes deep into Russia, despite Moscow’s warning that this would escalate the conflict and result in NATO’s direct participation in the hostilities. Russia also conducted a ‘combat test’ of its new Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic missile against a military plant in Ukraine, in response to Kiev’s cross-border attacks using US-made ATACMS and HIMARS systems, as well as British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles. Last month, Russia and Belarus finalized a security treaty cementing plans to deploy Oreshnik missile systems in Belarus by 2025. These missiles, which Moscow claims cannot be intercepted by current Western defenses, are capable of striking targets across Europe within minutes.

RFK to release files on assassination of JFK. James Files on his hit job of taking out JFK. James Files (Sutton) was born in Alabama in January 1942. His family moved to Chicago and he lived there until joining the United States Army and served with the 82nd Airborne in Vietnam (1959-60). After leaving the army he met Charlie Nicoletti, a leading figure in the Chicago Mafia. Files was involved in the Bay of Pigs invasion. In 1962 Files claims that he met Lee Harvey Oswald in Clinton, Louisiana. In 1963 Files was recruited by Nicoletti to take part in the killing of John F. Kennedy. Nicoletti claimed that the assassination was being organized by Sam Giancana, Johnny Roselli and David Atlee Phillips. Files claims that Lee Harvey Oswald was involved in the plot and speculated that his role was to plant the Mannlicher Rifle and shells in the Texas Book Depository. On 22nd November, 1963, Files claims he drove to Fort Worth where he met Johnny Roselli, Jack Ruby and Jim Brading. At the meeting Ruby handed Rosselli an envelope that contained Secret Service identifications and an updated motorcade route map of Dallas. Files and Nicoletti went to Dealey Plaza at about 10 a.m. It was agreed that Files would use his Remington Fireball gun from behind the fence on the Grassy Knoll and that Nicoletti would position himself in the Dal-Tex Building. Files believes that Nicoletti’s bullets hit both John F. Kennedy and John Connally. However, Files claimed that his bullet that hit Kennedy in the head. Apparently Files was given $30,000 for his role in the assassination. Files continued to work for Charlie Nicoletti until he was murdered on 29th March, 1977. Files was arrested on 5th August, 1991 and charged with attempting to kill a policeman called David Ostertag. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison and is currently a prisoner in Stateville Prison in Illinois. In 1994 Files told his story to Joe West. After the death of West the project was taken over by Bob Vernon. The story was eventually appeared in a video The Murder of JFK: Confession of an Assassin (1996). A book on the subject, Files on JFK: Interviews with Confessed Assassin James E. Files (2008). The confession made by Files was undermined by research carried out by Edward Jay Epstein. With the help of private detective, Jules Kroll, Epstein established from telephone records Files was in Chicago, not Dallas, on 22nd November, 1963. Assassination of John F. Kennedy Encyclopedia John R. Stockwell also researched the story and came up with several reasons why it is not true. He points out that Fines makes factual mistakes in his confession about Lee Harvey Oswald, Sam Giancana, and David Atlee Phillips (see below). Stockwell also points out that it was highly unlikely that the Mafia would still be planning the assassination of John F. Kennedy on the morning of 22nd November, 1963.

Dominic Cummings – AI in control already. Catherine Austin Fitts – Central Bank Digital Currencies. Larry Ellison, boss of Oracle, on total information awareness – omnipresent AI. Omnipresent AI Cameras Will Ensure Good Behaviour, Says Larry Ellison Larry Ellison, the 80-year old billionaire co-founder of Oracle, advocated for a world where artificial intelligence (AI) systems would constantly monitor citizens through an extensive network of cameras and drones, to ensure both police and citizens are on their best behaviour. AI models, rather than humans, would analyse footage from security cameras, police body cams, doorbell cameras, and vehicle dash cams. Big Tech companies are in a race to inject AI models into what seems like every conceivable application. Oracle has a partnership with Elon Musk’s Space X to bring AI to farming. On Thursday, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison shared his vision for an AI-powered surveillance future during a company financial meeting, reports Business Insider. During an investor Q&A, Ellison described a world where artificial intelligence systems would constantly monitor citizens through an extensive network of cameras and drones, stating this would ensure both police and citizens don’t break the law. Ellison, who briefly became the world’s second-wealthiest person last week when his net worth surpassed Jeff Bezos’ for a short time, outlined a scenario where AI models would analyse footage from security cameras, police body cams, doorbell cameras, and vehicle dash cams. “Citizens will be on their best behaviour because we are constantly recording and reporting everything that’s going on,” Ellison said, describing what he sees as the benefits from automated oversight from AI and automated alerts for when crime takes place. “We’re going to have supervision,” he continued. “Every police officer is going to be supervised at all times, and if there’s a problem, AI will report the problem and report it to the appropriate person.” The 80-year-old billionaire also predicted that AI-controlled drones would replace police vehicles in high-speed pursuits. “You just have a drone follow the car,” he explained. “It’s very simple in the age of autonomous drones.” Ellison co-founded Oracle in 1977 and served as CEO until he stepped down in 2014. He currently serves as the company’s executive chairman and CTO.

Larry Ellison, and Sam Altman with Trump – Project Stargate. Trump announces a $500 billion AI infrastructure investment in the US Three top tech firms on Tuesday announced that they will create a new company, called Stargate, to grow artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son and Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison appeared at the White House Tuesday afternoon alongside President Donald Trump to announce the company, which Trump called the “largest AI infrastructure project in history.” The companies will invest $100 billion in the project to start, with plans to pour up to $500 billion into Stargate in the coming years. The project is expected to create 100,000 US jobs, Trump said. Stargate will build “the physical and virtual infrastructure to power the next generation of AI,” including data centers around the country, Trump said. Ellison said the group’s first, 1 million-square foot data project is already under construction in Texas. AI leaders have for months been sounding the alarm that more data centers — as well as the chips and electricity and water resources to run them — are needed to power their artificial intelligence ambitions in the coming years. “I think this will be the most important project of this era,” Altman said on Tuesday. “We wouldn’t be able to do this without you, Mr. President.” Oracle is among the biggest US data center operators. And SoftBank has the kind of deep pockets needed to fund the expansion of AI infrastructure, which is expected to cost billions of dollars. Former President Donald Trump speaks at a campaign rally in Las Vegas on October 24, 2024. Related article Big Tech CEOs are calling up Trump, seeking to rekindle their relationship with the former president ahead of Election Day Altman has previously urged US officials to aid in that infrastructure buildout to ensure the United States remains ahead of China in the AI arms race, given that AI is poised to impact everything from the economy to military capabilities. The OpenAI CEO also reportedly met with Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son last year to solicit investment in new semiconductor plants for building AI chips.

Peter Kyle MP, BBC Matt Chorley show, on UK AI tool ‘Humphrey’. Civil Service ‘Humphrey’ AI tools aim to cut back spending and speed up work A package of AI tools dubbed Humphrey will be rolled out to the Civil Service to cut back on consultant spending and speed up work in Whitehall. Replacing “archaic” technology could save taxpayer-funded services £45 billion by boosting productivity, according to a report on Government technology to be published on Tuesday. Some of the bundle of tools, named after the fictional Whitehall official Sir Humphrey Appleby from the BBC’s Yes, Minister, are ready for civil servants to use right away. One, called Consult, aims to speed up policy decision-making by crunching thousands of responses to consultations within hours and presenting them as interactive dashboards for policymakers and experts. Consultants and analysts who do this at the moment can take months to compile responses and bill the taxpayer around £100,000 per consultation. The package for civil servants also includes a tool to analyse decades of parliamentary debates called Parlex, a generative programme to prepare briefings called Redbox and a legal research tool called Lex. The tools are part of a plan to overhaul digital services in a bid to cut costs and make it easier for the public to access services. Science Secretary Peter Kyle is also expected to unveil plans for digital driving licences that would be accessed through a Government app. The Government wants to do away with “antiquated processes” such as queueing at the local council to register a death or posting an advert in the local paper to get a lorry driving licence. It also wants central departments such as HMRC and the Department for Business and Trade to share more data with each other and local councils to crack down on fraud. A new team in Mr Kyle’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology will be tasked with joining up public services so people do not have to tell dozens of organisations the same thing. The Science Secretary said: “Sluggish technology has hampered our public services for too long, and it’s costing us all a fortune in time and money, not to mention the headaches and stresses we’re left with after being put on hold or forced to take a trip to fill out a form. “My department will put AI to work, speeding up our ability to deliver our Plan for Change, improve lives and drive growth. “We will use technology to bear down hard to the nonsensical approach the public sector takes to sharing information and working together to help the people it serves. “We will also end delays businesses face when they are applying for licences or permits, when they just want to get on with the task in hand – growth. This is just the start.” Sir Keir Starmer has said he wants the UK to be an AI “superpower” and to use the technology to boost growth. The Government has said it will “take forward” all 50 recommendations made by tech entrepreneur Matt Clifford, who was commissioned by Mr Kyle in July to come up with a plan to identify AI opportunities. The Government is ramping up efforts to build tools in house but also plans to buy AI solutions from the private sector.

Google article with London’s Barbican centre on AI and the Golem: Meet The Golem: The First ‘Artificial Intelligence’ Curator and scholar Emily D. Bilski looks back through the ages to explore the golem of Jewish mysticism, legend and art – in a time before artificial intelligence was even a word… “What are the computers and robots of our time if not golems?” What is the connection between AI and The Golem? The Golem, the artificially created human of Jewish tradition has long been evoked as a metaphor for artificial intelligence by scientists, philosophers, writers, and artists. The motivations and methods for creating a golem, as well as the golem’s actions once it has been brought to life, have provided powerful analogies for the potential risks and benefits of creating artificial intelligence. The origins of ‘The Golem’ The word ‘golem’ occurs once in the Bible, ‘Thine eyes did see my golem…’ (Psalm 139:16), where it denotes an unformed substance, something embryonic. According to Talmudic commentaries, these words were spoken by Adam to God, and ‘golem’ was understood as the physical form of man before acquiring a soul. This innate connection between the first human and a golem inspired writers and artists beginning in the nineteenth century to view the golem as our doppelgänger, a concept that can be seen mirrored in AI developments and in our desire to create ever-more human-looking robots and synthetic humans. In Jewish tradition, the idea of creating an artificial human being appears in the Babylonian Talmud. In the Talmud, the sage Rava declares: “If the righteous wished, they could create a world” Rava created an artificial man from dust which, however, was unable to speak, and subsequently was destroyed. The Talmud does not discuss how this creative act was accomplished, but techniques for creating artificial life are contained in the Sefer Yetzirah [Book of Creation], which discusses God’s creation of the universe by means of permutations of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the Bible, God created the world through language and Jewish mystics explored the creative potential inherent in combinations of Hebrew letters, in emulation of the Divine. Medieval ‘golem-making’ Later medieval texts describe various techniques for golem-making, which involve moulding a figure from dust or earth and animating it by means of incantations, ritual movements, and reciting specific combinations of Hebrew letters. These precise letter combinations constituted the ‘coding’ that could animate inanimate material, much as computer code ‘creates’ AI. Modern survival myth In the modern period, the golem became a survival myth for a powerless Jewish community. As the legend spread, another element was added to the narrative: at some point the golem grows so large and powerful that it becomes difficult to control and runs amok, before the rabbi manages to return the golem to dust. The Golem as the saviour and destroyer Both the golem story and Frankenstein have been understood as expressing the ‘horrors’ that science and technology can wreak. Yet it is the golem that underscores the ambivalent relationship we have with scientific and technological progress. In this regard, the scientist seeks to benefit humanity, just as the goal of the rabbis was to rescue Jews threatened by violence; therefore, any resulting danger is an unintended consequence. It is this dialectical nature of the golem – at once saviour and destroyer – that offers fertile comparisons with AI, and has inspired writers, filmmakers, and artists to interpret this archetypical. At its core, the golem motif explores the mystery and power of the creative act. Exploring the boundaries of being human Many of the current debates about the role of AI in society were anticipated by rabbinic discussions concerning the status of a golem’s ‘being’, for example, whether a golem can be counted in a minyan, the quorum of ten men traditionally required for certain prayers. These questions challenge us to define our humanity. Frankenstein’s Creature longs for human society, and in some versions of the tale, the golem falls in love and is rejected (perhaps an influence of Shelley’s narrative), precipitating its destructive rampage. In considering the emotions and actions of both characters, we explore the boundaries of what is human. Above all, these archetypes challenge us to behave responsibly vis-à-vis one another and vis-à-vis our creations. Golem Number One In 1965, the Weizmann Institute in Israel built a new computer and Gershom Scholem, the renowned scholar of Jewish mysticism, pronounced that it should be named ‘Golem Aleph’ [Golem Number One]. At the dedicatory ceremony, Scholem expounded on the commonalities between the ‘Golem of Prague’ and the computer, concluding: “So I resign myself and say to the Golem and its creator: develop peacefully and don’t destroy the world. Shalom.”

Christopher Story on the European Union. You will have noticed many references to the World Revolution on these websites. Didn’t you know that this is what we are all experiencing? Who are the ‘dark actors playing games’ to which poor Dr Kelly, the brilliant British microbiologist who was ‘suicided’ in 2003, referred shortly before his death? Did you not know that certain over-powerful intelligence services, protected by long-standing legislation that they use as a cover for their open-ended organised criminal activities, are in control, out of control and need urgently to be brought under control, before they deal their suffocating death blow to democracy? Judge for yourself, and also on behalf of the organisation, business, institution or corporation that you may represent, whether you need the range of publications, books and services that Christopher Story’s intelligence companies provide. Apply to join the worldwide community that recognises the penetrating importance of his research and published work, and of the excellence of our intelligence publications.

The Devil Rides Out film. Set in London and the south of England in 1929, the story finds erudite Nicholas, Duc de Richleau, investigating the strange actions of his protegé, Simon Aron, the son of a late friend, who has a house replete with strange markings and a pentagram. He quickly deduces that Simon is involved with the occult. De Richleau and his friend Rex Van Ryn manage to rescue Simon and another young initiate, Tanith, from a devil-worshipping cult. During the rescue, they disrupt a May Day ceremony on Salisbury Plain, in which the Devil appears under the guise of the “Goat of Mendes”. They escape to the country home of de Richleau’s niece Marie and her husband Richard Eaton. They are followed by the group’s leader, Mocata, who has a psychic connection to the two initiates. After visiting the house while de Richleau is absent to discuss the matter and an unsuccessful attempt to influence the initiates to return, Mocata forces de Richleau and the other occupants to defend themselves through a night of black magic attacks, ending with the conjuring of the Angel of Death. De Richleau repels the angel, but it kills Tanith instead (for, once summoned, it must take a life). His attacks defeated, Mocata kidnaps the Eatons’ young daughter Peggy. The Duc has Tanith’s spirit possess Marie in order to find Mocata, but they only are able to get a single clue, and Rex realizes that the cultists are at a house he visited earlier. Simon tries to rescue Peggy on his own, but he is recaptured by the cult. De Richleau, Richard, and Rex also try to rescue her, but they are defeated by Mocata….

Dr. Judith Brown, on the Israeli lobby, Meta’s decision to get rid of fact checkers, and the Digital Services Act. Control of Information Substack. Trump and Facebook – a formidable partnership? Zuckerberg and Censorship – what will happen next? The Control of Information How the rich and powerful shape the media and control your mind. By Dr Judith Brown. Judith Brown Jan 17, 2025 If we don’t have free speech, then we just don’t have a free country…if this most fundamental right is allowed to perish, then the rest of our rights and liberties will topple just like dominoes one by one… President Donald Trump, 15 December 2024. In earlier The Control of Information posts it has been revealed that the immensely rich control policy and information, and they operate above the level of governments. Fact check platforms have been a vital part of this control of information on behalf of the wealthy and powerful, without them, information cannot be censored to the same extent. With the support of policy enforcers, a category that includes governments, those who decide policy have organised a censorship regime that has spread across the world. This includes all forms of media. When such immense power meets obstacles, it can regroup and find different methods of achieving their aim of total control. Events of the past few weeks have however challenged their control. This article examines those events, and gives an insight into what might happen next. On 7 January 2025 the owner of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg made a statement concerning censorship practices on Facebook and Instagram. Zuckerberg stated that fact checkers have been too political, and the censorship regime they imposed had crossed a line, with fact checkers destroying more trust than they created. The takeaways from the Meta statement are (1) Meta will end its third party fact checking programme and move to a new system called ‘Community Notes’. (2) Meta will lift restrictions on some topics that are part of mainstream discourse, and focus enforcement on illegal and high-severity violations and (3) a more personalised approach will be made towards political content here. There were two external issues that affected Meta that may have been influential in this decision. (1) The election of Donald Trump to the American presidency, Trump having made statements to the effect that his administration would stop funding censorship and (2) the Zuckerberg statement occurred one day after Children’s Heath Defence (CHD) asked the Supreme Court to hear a censorship case against Meta. On 15 December 2024 President-elect Trump made an uncompromising statement on free speech immediately after his successful election campaign. This free speech initiative included a ban on federal money being used to label domestic speech as ‘misinformation’ or ‘disinformation’. It also included asking the Department of Justice to investigate the censorship regime. Digital platforms would be compelled to stop all censorship activities. Non-profits that are part of the censorship industry should be defunded, including American universities, with criminal penalties for non-compliance. A digital Bill of Rights would be passed, in which any government officials who wish to take down content would need a court order. Trump stated that when users have their content removed, throttled, shadow-banned, or otherwise restricted, they should have the right to be informed, to know why this is happening, and be given a right of appeal here…

As the Spy Cops Bill reached the House of Lords, we discussed previous miscarriages of justice and the media. Laurie Flynne, author of ‘Untouchables’, on Media North Show – corruption in Scotland Yard, Murdoch Empire and cops, list of amazing campaigns fighting injustice. Media North, Granville Williams and the Campaign for Press and Brioadcasting Freedom (CPBF). Spy Cops and the Media Spycops are on the rise. . But their threat expands beyond just activist groups – they have infiltrated and are collaborating with much of our media. Our Volunteer Slack, in partnership with The Campaign for Press and Broadcast Freedom and The Working Group, held this event with some speakers who are well versed in the tactics of the intelligence and police establishment: Stephen Dorril on the way the security services began to infiltrate left groups and the trade union movement in the 1960s. He has written extensively on the security services and is the author of Smear!: Wilson and the Secret State. Eileen Turnbull, researcher for the Shrewsbury 24 campaign, will talk about her work which led to the recent judicial review of the original trials of the pickets in 1973 and 1974. Laurie Flynn, journalist and co-author with Michael Gillard of Untouchables – Dirty Cops, Bent Justice & Racism in Scotland Yard. He will talk about his own experiences of the complicity of the media in ignoring miscarriages of justice and what happens when journalists like him tried to expose police corruption. the first thing i need to say is i need to make it loud and clear that people like me come in the wake of a host of campaigns of people who don’t think democracy is dead justice is dead we don’t accept injustice and uh for me Steve Dorril’s book smear about the treatment of Harold Wilson is one of the most disturbing and inspirational books I’ve read in many years furthermore it goes along with another book that I find disturbing and inspirational empire secrets by Calder Walton along with these inspirations of people who research things I would place very very highly Eileen mark Turnbull’s work their persistence in digging and digging and digging and not giving up but also let’s put let’s patch in all the other campaigns or grief Hillsborough Shrewsbury the Scots miners who have now got their charges quashed uh what about Grenfell tower what about Hillsborough what about the Lawrence family what about Dwayne Brookes what about Windrush what about all the campaigns i don’t know about we we we are actually in the middle of a failing state a state that it’s extremely well developed and covering things up it likes to cover things up it likes to delay and deny until you die and of course Dez Warren did die uh he was left hanging imprisoned uh perturbed drugged and these are deeply deeply shocking things uh which are all indicative not only of an ailing state but an imperial state that is dying they’ve spent a lot of time dying a lot of time covering things up and uh one of the campaigns i would like to mention is the campaign of the Mau-Mau victims in Kenya or Kenya i don’t even know how to pronounce it properly but these people uh uncovered the fact that there were 1500 files hidden away in a place called Hanslope Park in in Milton Keynes, but they’re left to do so what we have here is an entire building a vast building not a garden shed but a vast building were thousands and thousands of files about what Britain did in its in its imperial past that have been secreted away and are still secreted away and until there is a proper openness about all this we will carry on having scandal after scandal after scandal after scandal

Volker Reusing, Unser Politic blog, outside Bilderberg 2016, on financial destruction of any group that is anti EU. The Digital Services Act is now in EU Law – Are free-speech advocates worried by DSA? Such positive sentiments were not shared by many civil rights organisations in the EU, with a number expressing concerns regarding the impact the new rules would have on freedom of expression. Free Speech Ireland spokeswoman Sarah Hardiman said: “It claims to play a roll in downplaying risks of online communication and services. However, much like hate-speech legislation, it enables extremely wide-ranging powers for governmental organisations.” Hardiman went on to criticise the DSA’s ability to “shut down large social media platforms with very little notice”. “It has the power to censor and control speech deemed unfavourable to the EU,” she said. This latter concern has been a major sticking point for the legislation, with more than 60 NGOs writing to Breton in July to demand he walk back on threats the EU would look to use the DSA to cut off social media. Breton openly refused the demand, insisting that such shutdowns were fully compatible with freedom of speech. A US Senator has accused the country’s Federal Trade Commission of working with the European Union to help it impose its online censorship laws. Foreign lawmakers react to EU’s new web rules Pro-free-speech organisations are not the only ones who dislike the new law. Writing to the US Federal Trade Commission recently, prominent US Senator Ted Cruz alleged that the DSA unfairly targeted American businesses, describing the legislation as “Draconian”. He also wrote to the EU’s newly established office in San Francisco, accusing it of being a forward operating base to help enforce the DSA in a foreign country. “Facts indicate that the EU likely opened the San Francisco office to ensure that US businesses comply with its new draconian regulations,” he claimed. Cruz went on to demand that the office hand over documents to US authorities detailing the identities and roles of American government employees, officials and business representatives who have visited the outpost since it opened last September. Speaking to Brussels Signal, a spokesman for the EC refused to confirm or deny whether it was planning to meet the demand. “As a general rule we do not comment on correspondence received from third parties,” said EC foreign affairs spokesman Peter Stano.

Christopher Story, Oct 2009, on the headquarters of Nazi Germany moving to Madrid. Filmed at the 3rd Lawful Rebellion Conference, London, 31st October 2009 by BBC5.tv.  I’m going to talk talk about Germany now in the first operation we were told about the Germans when they took us over about 1200 years ago well they’re engaged in the same operation because contrary to the general view we did not win the war what happened was we finished Hitler off we personalised the war so we thought that when Hitler ceased to exist ostensibly I don’t believe these stories about the fact that he survived the B that’s nonsense we thought we’d won the war but that is not what happened in practice what happened was that in about 1941 it was in 1941 at the van conference the Nazi intelligencia realised that there must be a 50-50 chance that the Germans would lose the war and so what they did was they exported their big brains to Madrid and in 1942 they set up what it what they called the German geopolitical Center and if you go back into that part of History you’ll see that um it is quite often mentioned that all the big hotels in Madrid were full of Gestapo and Germans now the German geopolitical Center did nothing but think about what would happen if Germany didn’t succeed in taking over Europe and in other words it was a long-term Think Tank and they developed a long range deception strategy the long range deception strategy was originally set up set out in uh a work or um a book of seminars or a seminar document called the Europachen Wirdshaft Gemeinschaft (EEC) European Economic Community published in 1942 in Berlin which is mentioned in my book The European Union Collective details of which are out there the subtitle to European Union Collective which was published in 19 in 2002 so it’s 7 years old but it’s still entirely relevant is enemy of its member states the European Union is of course not our friend it is our enemy and has been all along because its purpose is to user our sovereignty and take us over and in fact what we now have what we now have in fact is a rubber stamp Parliament which as you know I think about 82% of stuff that comes into the House of Commons originates in uh Brussels now what happened was that in under Heath we handed over General powers to an unelected group in Brussels which is a self-perpetuating situation and the real problem with this enemy of ours is that it is on autopilot in fact

Criticism of former CIA front-man Raffi Berg, online editor at BBC news, for biased coverage of the Gaza genocide. In November 2012, Israel launched Operation Pillar of Defense, a high-profile, bloody assault on Gaza that made worldwide headlines. As Israel bombarded the densely-populated civilian area, Berg went on his own internal offensive, telling his BBC colleagues to word their stories in a way that does not blame or “put undue emphasis” on Israel. Instead, leaked emails show, he encouraged journalists to present the attack as an operation “aimed at ending rocket fire from Gaza,” thereby framing Hamas as the aggressor. Another Berg email instructed his coworkers to “Please remember, Israel doesn’t maintain a blockade around Gaza. Egypt controls the southern border” – a highly contestable opinion not shared by the United Nations, which declared that Israel was the occupying power besieging the strip. Extraordinary Revelations Shortly after Operation Pillar of Defense, Berg was promoted, becoming head of the BBC’s Middle East desk. This position gives him enormous influence in shaping the platform’s presentation of Israel’s current war on Gaza. In this role, he has helped turn the network into “systematic Israeli propaganda,” according to one journalist quoted by Jones in his Drop Site investigation. “This guy’s entire job is to water down everything that’s too critical of Israel,” said another. The BBC staff Jones talked to painted a picture of a pro-Israel zealot systematically suppressing any content or information that would paint Tel Aviv in a negative light. A micromanager, numerous journalists reportedly attempted to notify management of their issues with Berg, but their complaints fell on deaf ears. “Almost every correspondent you know has an issue with him,” one staffer stated. “He has been named in multiple meetings, but [management] just ignore it.” “How much power he has is wild,” another journalist told Jones, who explained that essentially every story or segment featuring Israel would have to be signed off by Berg first, even leaving other editors in “extreme fear” of commissioning anything without his approval. Berg is alleged to have made extensive pre-publication edits to others’ stories, changing the framing of news events to shield Israel from blame. One example of this is the whitewashing of the Israeli attack on the funeral of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. In May 2022, Israeli snipers shot the Al Jazeera anchor in the head and proceeded to lie about their culpability. Israeli forces subsequently attacked the public funeral, beating mourners and firing tear gas. The BBC’s text, allegedly penned by Berg himself, read: Violence broke out at the funeral in East Jerusalem of reporter Shireen Abu Aqla, killed during an Israeli military operation in the occupied West Bank. Her coffin was jostled as Israeli police and Palestinians clashed as it left a hospital in East Jerusalem. Thus, Abu Akleh’s murder by Israeli forces was downgraded to a mere death during an operation (with no perpetrator mentioned), while a police attack on a funeral procession was presented as a “clash” between rival factions, presumably of roughly equal responsibility. A more recent example of this, Jones claims, comes from a July story about IDF soldiers setting an attack dog on Muhammed Bhar, a severely disabled Gazan man, and letting him bleed to death. Under Berg’s supervision, the original headline ran: “The Lonely Death of Gaza Man with Down’s Syndrome.” Only after a gigantic worldwide outcry did the BBC change its framing to note anything about how Bhar met his end. “There has to be a moral line drawn in the sand. And if this story isn’t it, then what?” one BBC journalist said, commenting on the affair.

Technocrat-in-chief Kier Starmer major pre-WEF Davos speech on AI. . What is Starmer’s plan to turn Britain into an AI superpower? Energy access, data storage and privacy concerns will prove obstacles, say experts Sir Keir Starmer has launched a plan to harness artificial intelligence across the public and private sectors, which he hopes will cut costs and turbocharge UK economic growth. The AI Opportunities Action Plan, written by venture capitalist Matt Clifford, sets out 50 recommendations. All of them have been approved by Starmer, to ensure Britain is “one of the great AI superpowers” and an “AI maker” rather than an “AI taker”. But experts have cautioned there are major obstacles ahead, from access to energy and computing power, to entrenched public concerns about governance of the rapidly evolving technology and profligate use of private data. What are the government’s plans with health data? Starmer has broadly outlined plans to give researchers and AI companies access to public data sets, including anonymised NHS patient data, in an effort to make Britain an attractive place for businesses and to improve productivity in the struggling health service. Ministers intend for NHS data to form part of a new “national data library” and five public data sets are likely to form the first tranche when the project is up and running. The prime minister did not confirm on Monday whether these data sets would be sold for commercial use, and whether work was being undertaken to determine how the data would be priced. He said, however, that while it is important the government maintains “control” of health records, “I don’t think we should have a defensive stance that will inhibit the sorts of breakthroughs that we need”. Nell Thornton, a fellow at the Health Foundation, said that the think-tank’s polling showed that 75 per cent of the public were happy to share at least some of their data to develop AI systems within the NHS. Still, health specialists and privacy campaigners are sceptical the government will ensure the necessary guardrails are in place to protect private health information and the service itself. Saif Abed, a former NHS doctor and expert in cyber security and public health, said he “fears [AI’s] wanton deployment without stringent safeguards will make the NHS vulnerable”. “Who will perform the governance, audit and oversight function on behalf of the NHS of all these suppliers? How will suppliers be penalised for poor behaviour?,” he added.

Martin Gilbertson on 7/7 London bombings. Martin Gilbertson, 45, says he produced anti-western propaganda videos, secured websites and encrypted emails for Muslims who were involved in an Islamic bookshop and a youth centre attended by bombers Mohammad Sidique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer. Mr Gilbertson was also employed to establish firewalls that would safeguard both places from outside interference. Over two years, he was commissioned to make “presentations” in the backrooms of the Iqra bookshop, and at Hamara Youth Access Point, established later and visited regularly by Khan, a youth worker, and Tanweer. Khan and Tanweer were also, says Mr Gilbertson, involved in the Mullah Crew, a local gang which used to train at what was known as the “al-Qaida gym”. Mr Gilbertson says the gym, which he visited, was linked to the bookshop, a few metres – Claim over London bombers warning The pair made “anti-Western” material, Mr Gilbertson said – BBC Saturday, 24 June 2006 A computer expert warned police about the activities of two of the 7 July London bombers in 2003, he says. Martin Gilbertson told the Guardian he was concerned by material Mohammad Sidique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer produced at a West Yorkshire bookshop. He also told the BBC he wrote to local police to express his concerns about the “anti-Western” material but that no action was taken. A West Yorkshire police spokesman said it was impossible to track the letter. Mr Gilbertson, who is a former Hell’s Angel, said he came into contact with the two when he worked on computers at the Islamic bookshop in Beeston, Leeds, where both the men lived. They were really, very violently against the British society They may have trusted him because they perceived him to be anti-government, Mr Gilbertson told BBC’s Newsnight programme. “I worked for them for nearly four years but they were really, very violently against the British society,” he added. “They actually tried to convert me to Islam. “I was tired of the daily grind of being rammed down my throat that I was, in their own words, a Satanist because I didn’t believe in Allah.” ‘No trace’ Mr Gilbertson says his concerns over the material they were producing were so strong that, in October 2003, he went to his local police station to report his fears. He then put his concerns down in writing on the advice of officers, he said. “In 2003 I sent them some disks that had been produced by the bookshop in Beeston, which was very anti-Western, anti-Iraq, anti-everything and very anti-Semitic. “Also included in it was a list of names, which included both Tanweer and Khan.” He was “not the only person in Beeston concerned about them”, he added. But West Yorkshire Police say there is now no trace of the letter or the list of names. It says it will be impossible now to track what happened to his letter or to say whether Mr Gilbertson’s information was acted upon. Shadow home secretary David Davis said Mr Gilbertson’s claims reinforced the need for an independent inquiry into the 7 July attacks. “It is vital that the public can be confident that every action is being taken to protect their safety and if there are any weaknesses in our intelligence operations that these are corrected immediately,” he said. Fifty-two people were killed and hundreds injured by four suicide bombers on the London Underground and a bus in Tavistock Square on 7 July last year.

Imber author Gordon Lewis, on unfriendly fire cover-up in 1942, and 1961 mass trespass on Salisbury Plain.  ‘Little Imber on the down, seven miles from any town’, Imber is currently an uninhabited village in part of the British Army’s training grounds on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, seven miles north east of the town of Warminster. The entire civilian population was evicted in 1943 to provide an exercise area for American troops preparing for the invasion of Europe during the Second World War. After the war villagers were not allowed to return to their homes and the village remains under the control of the Ministry of Defence. Gordon Lewis is a historian, writer and speaker on a wide range of subjects but his passion is the history of Wiltshire. He regularly visits Imber when it is open to the public and is often invited to give emotive presentations on the history of Wiltshire’s ghost village. The first documentary evidence of Imber’s existence comes from Saxon times, with a mention of the village in 967. Imber is also recorded in the Domesday Book, at which time it is believed to have had a population of around fifty. The village’s church of St Giles dates back to the 12th century and has notable wall-paintings from the 15th century. By the 14th century the population of the village had risen to around 250, and eventually peaked at 440 as recorded in the census of 1851, declining to around 150 by the time of Imber’s abandonment. Imber was always an isolated community, Salisbury Plain being relatively sparsely populated, and most of its residents were employed in agriculture or work that directly depended on it. The village had an elongated form like a linear village, and its main street followed the course of a stream known as Imber Dock.

The only building to survive in a reasonable condition is the church, with the rest becoming derelict or demolished by the Army. In 1943 there was also a Baptist chapel (built in 1839, demolished in late 1970s), a post office, and a pub called the Bell Inn, which still stands; as does the manor house, Imber Court. Also still standing are a farmhouse, farm cottages, schoolroom and four “council house” type blocks built in 1938. In the late 19th century the War Office began buying land on Salisbury Plain, primarily to the east of Imber, and using it for manoeuvres. Beginning in the late 1920s farms around Imber were purchased, as well as the land on which the village itself sat. The pressures of agricultural depression, combined with the good prices offered by the military, encouraged the sale of land, with few being put off by the new conditions of their tenancy. This allowed the War Office to assume control and evict the residents if necessary. By the time of the Second World War, almost all of the land in and around Imber, with the exception of the church, vicarage, chapel, schoolroom and Bell Inn, belonged to the War Office. On 1 November 1943, with preparations for the Allied invasion of mainland Europe underway, the people of Imber were called to a meeting in the village schoolroom and given 47 days’ notice to leave their homes. Imber was to be used by US forces to practice street fighting. Many of the buildings in Imber suffered shell and explosion damage after the war when UK military operations began, and, additionally eroded by the weather, quickly fell into disrepair. Although the villagers had been told they could return in six months, this was never allowed. At the end of the war, efforts were made to restore Imber to its pre-war condition – although there was very little damage – but the decision was taken not to relinquish control. A public inquiry also found in favour of Imber’s continued military use,but it was decided that the church would be maintained, and would be open for worship on the Saturday closest to St Giles’s day each year – a practice that continues to this day.

Trump’s U.S. Silicon Valley Tyrant Chums Bring Techno-Feudalism – and Slavery… Don DeBar, journalist, on fires in LA and Trump coming to power. The foundation of Varoufakis’s argument rests on the observation that the digital giants—companies like Google, Uber, Facebook, Apple, and Amazon—have amassed unprecedented power and wealth, not merely through traditional capitalist means but by establishing monopolies over digital platforms and resources. These companies, according to Varoufakis, are the new lords of a techno-feudal system, where the “cloud” serves as their domain from which they extract rent, much like feudal lords extracted rent from land. This techno-feudalism is characterised by the concentration of capital and power in the hands of a few, a phenomenon that, while not entirely new, has reached new heights in the digital age. The traditional capitalist notion of competition and market dynamics has given way to a system where access to digital platforms is controlled by these giants, effectively stifling competition and innovation from smaller entities. Europe’s lag in developing its own digital giants exacerbates this issue, making it dependent on American and Chinese tech monopolies. Varoufakis further argues that this concentration of power and capital has significant implications for taxation and the distribution of wealth. Amazon’s operations in Europe, where it generates billions in revenue while paying minimal taxes, exemplify the skewed financial benefits that favor these digital overlords. This, he posits, is not merely a failure of capitalism but a transformation into something more sinister that mirrors feudalism, where societal wealth is siphoned to the top, leaving the masses with fewer economic opportunities and benefits. The shift to techno-feudalism, as Varoufakis describes, is also marked by a mutation within capitalism itself. Capitalism, in its quest for growth and dominance, has birthed a form of capital—cloud capital—that has ultimately turned on its creator. This cloud capital, controlled by the tech giants, has the power to extract rents and surpluses from both the proletariat and the bourgeoisie, redefining the economic landscape and power dynamics. Varoufakis’s insights into the role of digital currencies and payment systems further highlight the transformation underway. The development of digital currencies by China, contrasted with Europe’s lack of similar innovation, underscores the shifting balance of economic power and the emergence of new centres of economic control and influence. In discussing the geopolitical implications of this shift, Varoufakis points to the rising tensions between the United States and China. The competition is not merely economic but also technological, with both nations vying for dominance in the digital realm. This rivalry, he fears, could lead to conflict, emphasising the importance of understanding techno-feudalism not just as an economic phenomenon but as a factor reshaping global politics and power structures. Furthermore, Varoufakis critiques the liberal notion of the individual, arguing that the pervasive influence of big tech on our lives has eroded the autonomy and privacy that are central to liberal democracy. The data collected by these tech giants on individuals’ preferences, behaviours, and interactions not only fuels their economic dominance but also challenges the very notion of individual freedom and autonomy. In conclusion, Varoufakis’s discussion of techno-feudalism presents a compelling and concerning vision of the future, where the digital revolution has not liberated humanity but has instead entrenched new forms of inequality and control. The rise of digital giants as the new feudal lords of the 21st century, wielding power over digital realms and extracting economic rents from society, signals a profound shift in the economic and social order. This transition challenges us to rethink our understanding of capitalism, democracy, and freedom in the digital age, urging a re evaluation of the systems and structures that govern our lives.

Jungle Bus Michaela, on fact checkers, right wing Dutch politics, and our humourless modern world. Investigation into top civil servant boy rapes claim ends, no charges August 19, 2017 A criminal investigation into rape charges against a top civil servant has failed to turn up any evidence him and the case has now been dropped. The decision brings to an end 10 years of legal wrangling about whether Joris Demmink, former director general of the justice ministry, raped two boys in Turkey in the late 1990s. Demmink (69) was accused of raping the boys, aged 12 and 14, in 2007 by a Turkish national jailed for life in 2002 for murder and drugs dealing. The case was picked up his lawyer Adèle van der Plas, on behalf of one of the boys in 2010. The other refused to press charges. An initial investigation by the public prosecution department failed to turn up any evidence and in 2015, the appeal court ordered a formal criminal investigation. The results of that three year probe are, the public prosecution says, conclusive. ‘I am convinced that the crimes so as described in the complaints never happened,’ justice ministry official Ronald Steen told the Volkskrant. Paperwork The investigators combed all Demmink’s papers, bank statements, travel documents, minutes of meetings and concert visits which took place in the period the rapes were said to have happened but failed to find any evidence he was in Turkey. The documents were also checked thoroughly to find out if they had been forged, officials told the Volkskrant. Turkey refused to cooperate with the investigation but a Turkish document purporting to show he was in Turkey is a fake, the investigators say. Relieved Demmink’s lawyer Jan Leliveld told the Volkskrant that his client is relieved about the ‘crystal clear’ decision of the court. ‘But he regrets all the accusations that have given shape to his life over the past 10 years, Leliveld said. Demmink’s name has also cropped up in a secret investigation known as the Rolodex inquiry into child prostitution rings in the Netherlands in the 1980s. In December 2014, Demmink lost his claim against the AD newspaper which published an article about his alleged contacts with a child pimp. The AD reported on the alleged contacts in October 2012, based on three different eye witnesses. The paper also quoted another source as saying boys had been picked up in Demmink’s car.

Unravelling The Scriptures channel – origin of Mizrahi Jews, Mizrahi Jew, member or descendant of the approximately 1.5 million Jews who lived in North Africa and the Middle East up until the mid-20th century and whose ancestors did not previously reside in Europe. Collectively labeled ʿEdot Ha-Mizraḥ (Hebrew: “Ethnic Groups of the East”) in Israel upon their mass migration into the country after 1948, they were distinguished from the two other major groups of Jews—the Ashkenazim (a tradition rooted in the Rhineland) and the Sephardim (a tradition rooted in Spain). Have you ever heard of Mizrahi Jews? They’re the ones who chose not to leave the Middle East and settled in countries surrounding Israel. The Jewish diaspora in the Middle East outside the land of Israel began around the 6th Century BC during the Babylonian captivity this also LED some Jews to flee to Egypt and other areas of the diaspora especially in the Middle East and the Mcgreb in the Megreb a region inhabited by Semitic peoples such as Berbers and Arabs since Antiquity Jews also established communities additionally some Jews migrated to Persia and Yemen it is important to note that in North Africa in the Megreb the population was predominantly a mixture of Semitic and Indo-European peoples although there were Native Semitic tribes of African origin the predominance in the region since Antiquity was of Semitic and Indo-European peoples descendants of Jafeth this is evidenced in ancient murals representing peoples of Libya and other regions of North Africa which did not resemble Kushitic African peoples but rather Semites and Indo-europeans as Islam began to spread in the 7th Century ad Jews living under Muslim rule eventually became demies the term DIYs refers to people inhabiting an Islamic country who do not follow Islam Jews were recognised as people of the book by Muslims and due to the historical kinship between Arabs and Jews were allowed to practice their own religion and Jewish beliefs albeit with an inferior status in Islamic Society it is curious to note how Jews and Muslims managed to coexist in certain Harmony for a period of time considering that despite being called people of the book by Muslims Jews still had an inferior status this coexistence may have been facilitated by the mutual recognition of genetic kinship between Arabs and Jews both belonging to the Semitic race for much of History

How 10,000 Mizrahi Jewish Yemeni babies were kidnapped by the Zionists in the 1950s to do menial tasks and to increase numbers of Zionist children growing up in Israel, the UK and USA. Uncivilized Youtube Channel – You might have heard about children in Gaza going missing, kidnapped by Israeli soldiers. Israel’s done this kind of thing before. Between 1948 and the early 1950s, Israel kidnapped thousands of children – Jewish children. It’s known as the Yemenite, Mizrahi and Balkan Children Affair, and it’s one example of the core philosophy that binds Israel to every other settler-colony in the world. The shocking story of Israel’s disappeared babies – New information has come to light about thousands of mostly Yemeni children believed to have been abducted in the 1950s. Israel disappeared babies ‘No one wanted me to know the truth,’ said Gil Grunbaum, pictured in the late 1950s with his adoptive parents [Courtesy of Gil Grunbaum] Tel Aviv – For nearly 40 years, everything about Gil Grunbaum’s life was a lie, including his name. He was not, as he had always assumed, the only son of wealthy Holocaust survivors who owned a baby garments factory near Tel Aviv. Grunbaum had been stolen from his mother by doctors at a hospital in northern Israel in 1956, moments after she gave birth. His biological parents – recent immigrants to Israel from Tunisia – were told their child had died during delivery. They were sent home without a death certificate and denied the chance to see their baby’s body or a grave. Despite his darker looks, it never occurred to Grunbaum that the parents who raised him were not biologically related to him. Now aged 60, he says the discovery was “the most shocking moment imaginable. Everyone I loved – my parents, aunts, uncles and cousins – had been deceiving me for decades.” And so had government officials. “Even when I discovered by chance that I was adopted, the welfare services did everything they could to try to stop me finding my biological family,” Grunbaum told Al Jazeera. “No one wanted me to know the truth.” After a three-year search in the late 1990s, he finally learned his family’s name – Maimon – and tracked down his birth mother to the suburbs of Haifa in northern Israel. Some 41 years after they were separated, the two met for the first time, in an emotional reunion. Grunbaum’s story would be deeply disturbing if it was unique. But growing evidence suggests that there could be thousands of other children who were abducted in Israel’s first decade. Despite his darker looks, it never occurred to Grunbaum that the parents who raised him were not biologically related to him [Courtesy of Gil Grunbaum] Despite his darker looks, it never occurred to Grunbaum that the parents who raised him were not biologically related to him [Courtesy of Gil Grunbaum] Last weekend, Tzachi Hanegbi, a government minister tasked with studying the disappearances, conceded that at least “hundreds” of children had been taken without their parents’ consent. It is the first time a government official has ever made such a public admission. After weeks of re-examining evidence presented to a commission of inquiry in the late 1990s, Hanegbi told Israeli TV: “They took the children and gave them away. I don’t know where.” The Kedmi inquiry, which had issued its findings in 2001, found that as many as 5,000 children may have disappeared in the state’s first six years alone, although it examined only 1,000 of those cases. Jacob Kedmi, a former Supreme Court judge who died last month, concluded that in most cases, the children had died and been hurriedly buried. Hanegbi’s admission appears to confirm allegations long made by the families – and supported by scholars and journalists – that the inquiry was little more than a whitewash by the Israeli establishment. Kedmi placed the hundreds of thousands of documents relating to testimonies and evidence under lock for 70 years. They will not be made publicly available until 2071. The first consequence is likely to be mounting pressure on the government to open the state’s adoption files so that the true extent of the disappearances can be gauged and families reunited. But Hanegbi’s otherwise evasive comments will do little to end suspicions that officials are still actively trying to avoid confronting the most contentious questions: Why were the infants taken from their families? Did hospitals and welfare organisations traffic children in Israel’s early years? And were state bodies complicit in the mass abductions? When asked by Israeli TV programme Meet the Press whether government officials were involved, Hanegbi would say only: “We may never know.” His reluctance to be more forthcoming may be understandable. Shoshana Madmoni-Gerber, an Israel academic who has written a book on the disappearances titled Israeli Media and the Framing of Internal Conflict: The Yemenite Babies Affair, noted that the “forcible transfer” of children from one ethnic group to another satisfied the United Nations definition of “genocide”. The 1951 convention includes the crime of “complicity”.

Stephen Knight, author of ‘The Brotherhood’, on royal links to Jack the Ripper murders through artist Sickert.  1980 Documentary about the Jack the Ripper case with U.K. Investigative Journalist Stephen Knight about a Masonic Conspiracy. 1888 infamous unsolved murder case in the east end of London. Book the basis for the movies ‘Murder by Decree’ and ‘From Hell’. Gary Rhodes Director. Australia. The Case For The Prosecution “Judge’s” Instructions Inside the Brotherhood, by Martin Short Jack the Ripper is the name applied to the murderer or murderers, never caught, of several prostitutes in London in 1888. You must conceal all crimes of your brother Masons…and should you be summoned as a witness against a brother Mason be always sure to shield him…It may be perjury to do this, it is true, but you’re keeping your obligations. – There are many theories about this case, including some interesting aspects related to Freemasonry. It is useful for Masons to have the facts about it. “Prosecutor’s” Case This is what a prosecutor might say to attempt to show that Freemasons were involved in the Jack the Ripper murders — Queen Victoria’s son, later King Edward VII, was Grand Master of Masons in England in 1888. His son, Eddy, would have become King if his grandmother and father died before him. Eddy, 24 in 1888, aided by a carriage driver, made secret visits to a London artist named Walter Sickert and his friends. Eddy met and had a baby with an illiterate Catholic “shop-girl” named Annie and they were married secretly. Sickert hired a nanny for Eddy and Annie’s baby daughter. The nanny was Mary (or Marie) Kelly, who, with Sickert, was a witness at Eddy’s and Annie’s wedding. Britain then was in great political turmoil, and if the country had found out that someone so close to the throne married someone like Annie it could have led to the end of the monarchy and all those who benefitted from the British political and social system, especially the Freemasons. Jack the Ripper, by Stephen Knight Word of all this got to Queen Victoria, who ordered her Prime Minister, the Marquess of Salisbury, to “fix” it. Salisbury, a prominent Freemason, arranged to have Annie placed in an insane asylum where she died 32 years later. Their daughter later became Sickert’s mistress, had a son with him, and died in 1950. Sickert died in 1942. Eddy died in 1892. Marie Kelly became a drunken prostitute and shared her information with three fellow prostitutes, who threatened to expose Eddy’s actions. Prime Minister Salisbury decided this threat had to be ended. He called on his high ranking Masonic brethren, particularly Sir William Gull, physician to the Queen, the doctor who certified Annie as insane. Besides being a doctor, politically well-connected, and a high level Freemason, Gull was mentally unbalanced. Gods Banker Gull decided to kill the women according to Masonic ritual. When Prime Minister Salisbury and other Masons in the government and police recognized what Gull was doing, even though they did not agree with his methods they arranged a coverup because they were required to keep the secrets of a Freemason, and appreciated what Gull was accomplishing. Gull convinced Netley the carriage driver and Sickert the painter to assist him to identify the 4 prostitutes. Then one by one they offered them lifts in their carriage, murdered the women and mutilated their bodies as prescribed in Masonic rituals. They then dropped the bodies in selected locations. Gull killed the victims in the following manner: (a) On Aug. 31, 1888, Mary Ann (Polly) Nichols’ throat was cut very deeply, starting at one ear and circling her throat, and her abdomen was cut open (b) On Sept. 8, 1888, Annie Chapman’s throat was “ferociously” severed from one side to the other, her tongue protruded between her teeth and was swollen, her abdomen was entirely opened, all of her small intestines were removed and placed above her right shoulder but still attached, part of her stomach and “pubes” cut out and placed above her left shoulder, her uterus, womb, portion of vagina and most of the bladder removed. Her jewelry and coins were removed and two brass rings were placed at her feet. (c) On Sept. 30, 1888, Elizabeth (Liz) Stride’s throat was cut from one jaw to the other. (d) On Sept. 30, 1888, Gull thought he was killing the last and most important victim, Marie Kelly, but he mistakenly murdered Catherine (Kate) Eddowes (who lived with a man named “Kelly,” and used the name Mary Ann Kelly). Her throat was cut “from ear to ear,” nose completely cut off, part of right ear cut off, severe cutting of other parts of her face in the shape of triangles, abdomen all exposed, intestines drawn out and placed over her right shoulder, a 2 foot piece removed and placed between her body and left arm in a careful manner. Her left kidney and part of her womb had been cut out and taken away. Nearby, police found a piece of her cut apron which fit exactly with the part still on her body. It was wet with blood, and just above it a message was found in white chalk on black bricks saying: “The Juwes are The men That Will not be Blamed for nothing.” (e) After discovering the mistake with Eddowes, on Nov. 9, 1888, Gull and his allies murdered the real Mary Kelly in her apartment. Her throat was cut with the tissue severed “all around,” whole surface of abdomen and thighs removed and abdominal cavity emptied, breasts cut off, arms mutilated, face hacked beyond recognition. Her uterus, kidneys, and one breast were under her head, the other breast by her right foot, liver between her feet, intestines by her right side, and spleen by her left side. Skin removed from her abdomen and thighs was on a bedside table. Part of one lung was missing, as was her heart. It appeared that the fireplace there had been used….

Satanic cult at the heart of British government? ‘The Satanic Rights of Dracula’ British Hammer feature film. THE SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA (1973) PETER CUSHING, CHRISTOPHER LEE – A Secret Service agent barely escapes from an English country house, in which satanic rituals are being celebrated. Before he dies of his wounds, he reveals to his superiors that four prominent members of society – a government minister, a peer, a general and a famous scientist – are involved in a cult led by Chin Yang. Photos of the four dignitaries taken by the agent are developed, and a fifth photo, apparently showing an empty doorway, is assumed to be a mistake. In order to avoid any reprisals by the minister, Secret Service official Colonel Mathews calls in Scotland Yard’s Inspector Murray to work on the case independently. Murray suggests consulting a noted occult expert, Professor Lorrimer Van Helsing. The cult kidnaps the Secret Service secretary Jane, who is later bitten by Count Dracula. Murray, Secret Service agent Torrence and Van Helsing’s granddaughter Jessica arrive at the country house. They separate; Murray and Torrence investigate inside the house, where they meet Chin Yang. Jessica enters the house through the cellar, where she finds Jane chained to a wall; she is revealed to be a vampire. The ensuing commotion awakens other female vampires who are likewise imprisoned, but they attempt to feed on Jessica. The agents hear Jessica’s screams and come to her rescue. Murray kills Jane with a stake, and he escapes the grounds with Jessica and Torrence. Meanwhile, Van Helsing visits his scientist friend, Julian Keeley, whom he recognised among the four conspirators. The mentally unstable Keeley is involved in bacteriological research designed to create a virulent strain of the bubonic plague. Van Helsing is shot by a guard and passes out. When he revives, Keeley’s dead body hangs from the ceiling, and the plague bacillus is gone. Keeley referred to the 23rd of the month, which Van Helsing discovers is the “Sabbath of the Undead”. Keeley’s research notes lead Van Helsing to the reclusive property developer D. D. Denham, who funded Keeley’s research. Van Helsing speculates that the fifth photo of an empty doorway may actually have been of Dracula, whose image cannot be captured; he theorises that Dracula wants to finally die, but in his evil, will want to destroy all of humanity with him. Van Helsing visits Denham in his headquarters (built on the church yard where Dracula died in the previous film) and discovers that he is actually Dracula. He tries to shoot Dracula with a silver bullet, but is beaten by the Count’s conspirators. Dracula decides that killing Van Helsing would be too simple and has him moved to the country house. Jessica, Murray, Mathews and Torrence, while observing the country house, are attacked by snipers. Torrence and Mathews are killed, and Murray and Jessica are captured. Murray awakes in the cellar and escapes the clutches of Chin Yang, revealed to be a vampire herself.

Part One – Local and National News Review

UK borrowing costs soar with highest rate for 27 years.  Fresh woes for pound and long-term borrowing costs after US data – There’s more bad news for the chancellor to digest on her trade mission to China as financial market moves continue to weigh on her stewardship of the economy. James Sillars The pound has come under renewed pressure at the end of a torrid week for the UK currency, falling to fresh 14-month lows against the dollar. Sterling lost almost a cent, to stand just above $1.22 at one stage, on the back of higher support for the greenback after US employment data came in much stronger than expected. It was seen as denting the prospects for US central bank rate cuts this year – a scenario that tends to be supportive of a domestic currency. That has not been the case for the UK, however, which is also seeing the prospects for rate cuts this year slip away. The pound is on course to have lost more than 2% this week on the back of a growing crisis of confidence in the country’s economic prospects and the state of the public finances under Chancellor Rachel Reeves. Financial markets now expect to see just one rate reduction by the Bank of England this year due to stubbornly high inflation and flatlining growth. The main worry is that the UK is facing a slew of higher prices as businesses have warned they will pass on budget tax hikes from April at a time when a raft of other bills are also due to shoot up. Corporate lobby groups have declared that firms will also cut investment, jobs and the pace of wage rises to help offset the higher costs from measures such as elevated employer national insurance contributions. Water and council tax bills are also on course to rise by more than the rate of inflation. And energy bills are set to rise further amid high demand for gas and weak storage levels Europe-wide. A further market move on Friday represented more headwinds ahead. The strong US economic data was partly credited for a 4% lift in Brent crude oil prices to $80 a barrel. Rising oil and gas prices are also inflationary as higher costs are usually reflected at fuel pumps and within supply chains within weeks of wholesale price shifts. Ms Reeves is facing a particular headache from increases in the risk premiums demanded by investors to hold UK government debt in the form of bonds – known as gilts. Yields, the effective interest rate, on 30-year gilts have risen to levels not seen since 1998 this week – while other shorter-term bonds also saw spikes. The 30-year yield stood beyond 5.4% on Friday afternoon, up more than six basis points on the day. A higher cost to service government debt means there is less money for Ms Reeves to spend on other commitments. The chancellor resisted Conservative and Lib Dem calls to cancel a trade trip to China this weekend and is widely expected to signal that spending cuts are coming to ensure she keeps within her fiscal rules.

First we hear from David Lammy ‘FO announcement’ on Gaza war and China. Then Hayden William Davies, a British mercenary who fought for Ukraine, on how he was a Britis Army reject on the streets in Britain, then the appalling conditions in the Ukraine army. Hundreds of hired Colombians are fighting on the side of Kiev — said the British prisoner The British mercenary Hayden William Davis, captured in Donbass, said that Italians, Germans, Americans, and the British are fighting on the side of Kiev, but most of all Colombians are “hundreds of them.” The corresponding video is available to RIA Novosti. He also told about his difficult fate: dismissal due to drugs from the British army after many years of service, difficulties with employment at home, mental health problems. Earlier, as reported by EADaily, prisoner of war Davis told how a serviceman The Russian Armed Forces saved him from death during shelling in the area of Toretsk. The corresponding video was published by the telegram channel “Solovyov Live”. Earlier, our fighters from the Center group captured a British citizen and former serviceman Hayden William Davis, who came as a mercenary to fight against the Russians. Hayden William Davis was born in Southampton, England. At the age of 16 he joined the British Army. He was kicked out of there in 2023 for abusing drugs. He also spoke about his difficult fate: being discharged from the British army due to drugs after many years of service, difficulties finding employment in his homeland, and mental health problems. The military from the “Center” captured a British mercenary who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Soldiers of the Center group of forces captured a mercenary from the United Kingdom who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a video with a story by a British man who called himself Hayden William Davis. The Briton was born in Southampton and joined the army in 2011 at the age of 16. “I was kicked out of the army in 2023 for smoking marijuana. I served in North Yorkshire in England in the Royal Regiment of Scotland,” said Davis. He clarified that before coming to Ukraine, he had been “on business trips” to Canada, Germany, Afghanistan and Cyprus. Earlier it was reported that the Crimean paratroopers stormed the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the Kursk region. Some of the Ukrainian soldiers surrendered. The British mercenary told about the flight from positions in Donbass LUGANSK, January 2 — RIA Novosti. Twelve mercenaries fighting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass left their positions in protest against the actions of the Ukrainian command, Hayden William Davis, a British mercenary captured in Donbass, told RIA Novosti in a video. Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that soldiers of the Center group of forces captured a British mercenary who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Toretsk in the Donetsk sector of the front. “We really don’t like a command that allows war crimes to be committed. I was in position, and my job was to be at the observation post. I personally heard on the radio how someone was ordered to kill three people. I remember one of the commanders saying: “Kill them.” Somewhere in a different position. I do not know exactly where, but I am pretty sure that a woman and a teenager were killed there… For everyone who was with me at the observation post, this was the last straw. Twelve people wanted to terminate their contracts at the moment,” Davis said. He stressed that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine uses personnel “like meat.” “The command doesn’t care about you, they don’t care, they use you as meat. They say you’ll be in the position for three to five days, but they keep you there for ten days, and then they send you to another position. I flatly refused to move to another position: there is no information, we have no equipment,” Davis said. He clarified that after he left the position, he hid for two months in one of the dugouts. “The guy who was with me died because of drones and everything else. The other one escaped. I moved away to find cover, but a grenade flew at me again. But not from the Russian side, I think it was Ukrainian, thrown off a drone… so I decided to find a dugout… And I was hiding in the dugout for about two months,” Davis added. According to him, the corpses of many of his colleagues who died in battle also remain in their positions. “A great guy from South Africa is lying dead in a wooden box in the middle of Toretsk. His body was lying 50 meters from my dugout… If you come to Ukraine as a fighter of the foreign legion, I really am an exception. Here you will be destroyed… and there’s nothing good about it, and Ukraine doesn’t give a damn about you either,” he explained.

WEF Run New York city: NY new ULEZ zone. New York first US city to have road pricing tolls – Bristol and London have been guinea pigs for Blackrock, Siemens, WEF wonk Marvin Rees’ and The Merchant Venturers’ Anglo Zionist empire’s fascist road pricing toll programme, is now destroying New York too… ‘…Four hundred lanes of traffic are now covered by more than 1,400 cameras, with more than 110 detection points and more than 800 signs, he said. President-elect Donald Trump is among those resisting the scheme, but Mr Lieber said he was confident agreements with the government would “stand up to changes of administration”. The congestion zone covers an area south of Central Park, taking in such well-known sites as the Empire State Building, Times Square and the financial district around Wall Street. The scheme aims to ease New York’s notorious traffic problems and raise billions for the public transport network. New York state Governor Kathy Hochul made the case for a congestion charge two years ago, but it was delayed and revised following complaints from some commuters and businesses…’ The first congestion charge scheme for vehicles in the US has come into effect in New York City. Car drivers will pay up to $9 (£7) a day, with varying rates for other vehicles. “The system has been in operation since midnight [05:00 GMT Sunday],” Janno Lieber, CEO of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), told reporters. Four hundred lanes of traffic are now covered by more than 1,400 cameras, with more than 110 detection points and more than 800 signs, he said. New York state Governor Kathy Hochul made the case for a congestion charge two years ago, but it was delayed and revised following complaints from some commuters and businesses. The new plan revives one scheme that she paused in June, saying there were “too many unintended consequences for New Yorkers”. Most drivers will be charged $9 once per day to enter the congestion zone at peak hours, and $2.25 at other times. Small trucks and non-commuter buses will pay $14.40 to enter Manhattan at peak times, while larger trucks and tourist buses will pay a $21.60 fee. Hours after the scheme began traffic was moving briskly along the northern edge of the congestion zone at 60th Street and 2nd Avenue, the Associated Press reports. Many motorists seemed unaware that the newly activated cameras, set along the arm of a steel gantry above the street, would soon send a new charge to their E-Z Passes, it says. “Drivers are going to start to see the toll charges appearing on their E-Z Pass bills in a few days,” Mr Lieber said later. The charge has encountered plenty of opposition. “Are you kidding me?” New Jersey estate agent Chris Smith asked, speaking to AP. “Whose idea was this? Kathy Hochul? She should be arrested for being ignorant.” The most high-profile opposition has come from Trump, a native New Yorker who has vowed to kill the scheme when he returns to office this month. Local Republicans have already asked him to intervene. Congressman Mike Lawler, who represents a suburban district just north of New York City, asked Trump in November to commit to “ending this absurd congestion pricing cash grab once and for all”. A judge denied an 11th-hour effort on Friday by New Jersey state officials to block the scheme on grounds of its environmental impact on adjoining areas. Last year, New York City was named the world’s most-congested urban area for the second year in a row, according to INRIX, a traffic data analysis firm. Vehicles in downtown Manhattan drove at a speed of 11mph (17km/h) during peak morning periods in the first quarter of last year, the report said. Among those welcoming the new scheme was Phil Bauer, a surgeon who lives in midtown Manhattan. “I think the idea would be good to try to minimise the amount of traffic down and try to promote people to use public transportation,” he told AP.

Lord Michael Gross, British Judge, on the ‘LIES’ behind HS2. Lord Adonis started HS2, the guy who had two children with one of his young students then announced to her that he was gay.  HS2 in ‘very serious situation’, boss says HS2 is in a “very serious situation” and needs a “fundamental reset”, the new boss of the company building the high-speed railway has warned. Mark Wild, chief executive of HS2 Ltd, said he is committed to ensuring the railway opens “safely and efficiently”. Earlier this month, HS2 Ltd estimated the cost of building the railway would be between £54 and £66 billion in 2019 prices – between £67 and £83 billion in current prices. But appearing before the Commons Public Accounts Committee, the Department for Transport’s top civil servant Dame Bernadette Kelly said these figures were not “reliable” and an agreed estimate was unlikely to be produced until “well into 2025”. Mr Wild, who joined HS2 Ltd at the start of December, said in a statement on Monday: “New railways provide better journeys and they boost economic growth by fuelling investment in communities and businesses. “The prize is clear. However, the programme is in a very serious situation that requires a fundamental reset to enable it to be delivered to the lowest feasible cost. “I am committed to delivering this reset over the coming year to ensure the railway can be brought into service safely and efficiently.” HS2 Ltd published an update outlining the progress in building the 140-mile line between London and the West Midlands. It said 38 of the 55 miles of twin-bore tunnels have been excavated, and 58% of engineering work to prepare the ground for the railway’s cuttings, embankments, stations and landscaping has been completed. Work has also stated on constructing 158 out of 227 viaducts and bridges. More than 31,000 people are employed on the programme, which has 350 active construction sites. Mr Wild said: “HS2 represents a significant investment in Britain’s future and in the last month I’ve been inspired by the hugely impressive feats of civil engineering taking shape right along the route.” Construction projects expected to be completed in 2025 include excavation of the 8.4-mile Northolt Tunnel in west London and both bores of the 3.5-mile Bromford Tunnel which will carry the line in and out of Birmingham.

UK military homes estate is RENATIONALISED! Guy Hands, of Terra Firma, sells 36,000 married quarters military buildings back to the government. Billionaire Guy Hands’ property firm sells military homes to MoD for £6bn – Terra Firma’s sale of 36,000 properties ends legal fight with government over recent housing reforms A property company linked to Guy Hands has agreed to sell 36,000 military homes to the UK’s Ministry of Defence for almost £6bn, signalling an end to a long-running battle between the billionaire and the government. Annington will hand over its 999-year lease on the 36,347 homes, known as the Married Quarters Estate, to the MoD and receive £5.99bn in return – almost twice as much as Hands’ private equity company Terra Firma paid for Annington more than a decade ago, but less than the £8bn the homes were valued at last year. The sale ends court proceedings brought by Annington over planned housing reforms. In September, the company took a legal fight with the UK government to the European court of human rights over fears it could lose significant sums as a result of the new Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act. It also launched a challenge in the high court on the same grounds. In 1996, under the then defence secretary, Michael Portillo, the Conservative government sold 57,400 houses used by military service men and women and their families to Annington for £1.7bn – making the company the biggest residential property owner in England and Wales. The MoD rented back the homes on a 200-year lease at a discount but also agreed to pay for their maintenance and refurbishment. Annington refurbished and sold nearly 20,000 homes. In 2012, Terra Firma bought Annington from the Japanese investment bank Nomura Holdings for £3.2bn. Hands, one of Britain’s highest-profile private equity investors, launched Terra Firma in 2002 and has since made more than £15bn in investments, including the record company EMI, Tilia Homes and Welcome Hotels. In January 2022, the MoD said it was hoping to take back full ownership of the homes through enfranchisement rules under existing leasehold legislation. The MoD said the deal brought back military housing into public hands and ended a “huge annual rental bill” to save about £230m a year. John Healey, the defence secretary, said: “There is still a lot of work to do to deliver the homes our military families deserve, and these problems will not be fixed overnight. But this is a decisive break with the failed approach of the past and a major step forward on that journey.” Ian Rylatt, the Annington chief executive, said the sale represented a new chapter for the estate and “ends a costly and distracting legal dispute, allowing everyone to move forward”. Accommodation for service personnel and their families is “shocking”, as issues with damp and mould persist, according to a report from the Commons defence committee published last week. It found that two-thirds of the homes for service families “need extensive refurbishment or rebuilding” along with a third of the homes rented by individuals. The family homes are part of the Annington portfolio, but the government is responsible for their maintenance. Last year, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, which is responsible for maintaining and servicing military accommodation, was given £400m to tackle mould, damp and other problems. The report found that its contracts resulted in “poor contractor performance, poor quality of maintenance and repair work, and a poor lived experience for many serving personnel and their families”. The MoD will transfer 159 homes worth £55m to Annington within 12 months as part of a pre-existing agreement. Contracts were exchanged in relation to the £5.99bn sale on Monday and the deal is expected to close on 9 January. The sale proceeds will be used to pay down Annington’s debt, with another portion distributed to shareholders, including UK pension funds and sovereign wealth funds. The firm, which has 1,600 other rental properties, also plans to reinvest in the UK property market.

Fry & Groucho perverts control UK drama 1: Child Sex Abuse promoter Stephen Fry and Groucho club at the heart of the rot in UK TV film theatre drama rot – Fry and Groucho behind most UK drama/entertainment and many factual commissions  Rape at Groucho Club, London. Man arrested on suspicion of rape at London’s Groucho Club Arrest follows closure of private members club after police raised concerns venue breached licensing conditions A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape in The Groucho Club, the private club in central London that counts many in the media, arts and advertising among its members. The Groucho Club was forced to shut this week after its licence was suspended by Westminster City Council, sparking widespread rumours about the reasons behind the sudden closure. On Sunday, the Metropolitan Police said its officers had arrested a man as part of an investigation into an allegation of rape at the venue in Soho. It followed an inquiry launched following reports of a woman being raped inside the Groucho on November 13. The woman is being supported by specialist officers, the police said in a statement. The 34-year-old man was arrested at an address in Hertfordshire on Saturday evening and remains in custody. The Groucho did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A Westminster Council licensing hearing ruled on Tuesday that the permit for the Groucho should be suspended for up to 28 days until a full hearing can take place. The initial hearing was held following an application by the Met which raised concerns that the venue had breached licensing conditions and had been the scene of a serious criminal offence. The police said there was “no suggestion that employees of the venue were involved in the commission of the offence” at this stage. Elli Jafari, transgender bisexual chief executive of the Groucho, was forced to assure members on Friday “that the club (or indeed its staff or members) are not considered a suspect in any allegation of serious crime”. She said in an email to members: “The club took the decision to voluntarily close its doors for practical reasons for a short period of time following agreement with the council that there should be a temporary suspension of our licence. We are working on matters relating to some of the licence conditions.” Westminster Council is expected to review the licence situation in the next two weeks, with the club continuing to be closed during one of its busiest periods in the run-up to the Christmas holidays. Artfarm, an art and hospitality company founded by Iwan and Manuela Wirth, who own the Hauser & Wirth gallery, bought the Groucho in 2022 for £40mn.

Fry & Groucho perverts control UK drama 2: Groucho Club CEO steps down, as club reopens with new rules All change at Soho’s Groucho Club as the recently troubled members’ club prepares to reopen this Friday, January 10. The club closed before Christmas after an alleged rape on its premises in November, for which a 34-year-old man was arrested. He is believed to be a non-member. Members returning this weekend will be met with a somewhat different club to the one they knew. CEO Elli Jafari — the club’s first female CEO — is no longer part of the business, having stepped down in December after just 10 months in the role. Her departure follows that of Ewan Venters, former chief executive of hospitality group Artfarm, which owns the club. In an email sent to members, the club wrote: “We would like to extend our thanks to her for helping to steer the club through the last couple of months and wish her well for the future.” In her place, though given the title of interim managing director rather than CEO, will be former Ronnie Scott’s man Simon Cooke, a long-time member of the club. “Simon began his career running merchandising operations for rock bands like Queen, Prince, AC/DC and Eric Clapton, before moving into radio management at Jazz fm,” the email reads. “Simon most recently served for 13 years as Managing Director of Ronnie Scott’s Club, during which time the club was re-established as one of the premier jazz clubs in the world.” The Groucho will reopen this Friday at midday and is encouraging members to drop by in the early evening to see the newly refurbished Soho Bar. As part of its reopening, and in an effort to ensure the safeguarding of those in the club, the Groucho has amended its sign-in policy, for both members and their guests. Where previously the Groucho entrance was famed for its leather-bound guestbook, entry is now digital-only and requires members to use the Groucho app. To come in with guests — each member is welcome to invite four, as before — members will be required to provide their guests’ full name, email address and contact number. As per the email: “Guests will then be sent a QR code to present on their arrival to the club, and will then be allowed entry when accompanied by the member who registered them.”

Fry & Groucho perverts control UK drama 3: Stephen Fry under fire over paedophilia play  David Clews, from Unity News Network, on ‘paedophile promoter’ Stephen Fry getting Knighted by King Charles, Scottish Independence, and UK political hegemony being overturned. Stephen Fry under fire over paedophilia play Sunday 28 July 2002 Stephen Fry has been accused of “promoting paedophilia” by giving his blessing to an Edinburgh Festival revival of his award-winning play about an affair between a teacher and an under-age schoolboy. When a 23-year-old Fry first unleashed his public school satire Latin! on the Fringe in 1980, it earned him a best newcomer’s prize and kick-started his long-standing collaboration with comic partner Hugh Laurie. Now a row has broken out over plans by an acclaimed young company to revive the play, which tells of the homosexual relationship between a Latin master and his 13-year-old pupil. The play opens as part of the Fringe on Friday. The protests have been led by James Gilchrist, a local Conservative councillor who branded the play “smut” and dismissed Fry’s contribution to the theatre as something that “could be written on the back of a postage stamp”. Activated Image, the company behind the revival, is so amused by the furore that it has posted Mr Gilchrist’s criticisms on its website. It maintains that the play, a black comedy that veers between light farce and outright anarchy, is intended to cast a thoughtful eye over the inherent absurdity, and dangers, of public school life. “What Stephen Fry pulls off so brilliantly is to cover this topic in a way which is not in any way shocking,” said artistic director Adam Barnard. “People have said things like, ‘You shouldn’t have paedophilia on stage because it encourages people to do that.’ Well, people don’t say, ‘You mustn’t have Hamlet on stage because it encourages people to commit murder.'” Referring to the sympathetic portrayal of the central character, Dominic Clarke, whose extra-curricular activities with young Rupert Cartwright lead to his being blackmailed by a vicious older master, he said: “I think the point he is making is that it’s absolutely possible for someone to be a reasonable human being, but at the same time a person who shouldn’t be let loose on the population of a school.” He added that, in evoking the “literary motif” of the idealised beautiful boy, Fry had tapped into a tradition stretching back through authors like Oscar Wilde and Thomas Mann to the ancient Greeks. Mr Gilchrist, who has reluctantly accepted an invitation to watch the play and take part in a post-show panel discussion, maintains that he is unimpressed by the company’s arguments. “I find it extraordinary that a subject as sensitive as paedophilia can be seen as art or entertainment,” he said. “It doesn’t sound like it is giving people a warning about its subject – it seems to be promoting it.”

Financial crash coming – change inevitable but not necessarily good. University of Bristol appeal case won by David Miller, that anti Zionism is not anti Semitic. FIGHTING FOR FREE SPEECH: BRISTOL UNI ATTEMPTS TO OVERTURN DAVID MILLER’S LANDMARK LEGAL VICTORY Professor David Miller’s landmark legal case against Bristol University is being appealed – which is bad news for us all. The seminal case established that anti-Zionist beliefs are protected under the Equality Act 2010 and afforded important protections to every single worker in the UK. In 2021 Professor Miller was wrongfully dismissed from his position at the University of Bristol for teaching about the Zionist movement’s Islamophobia. He fought back, taking his case to an employment tribunal and won that victory, establishing an important legal precedent – that anti-Zionist beliefs are protected under the Equality Act of 2010. The tribunal ruled decisively in his favor, confirming that Bristol University discriminated against him because of his anti-Zionist beliefs. They affirmed that anti-Zionism is worthy of respect in a democratic society. This verdict set a vital precedent. No longer can employers harass, discipline or dismiss workers simply for voicing opposition to the racist, colonial and genocidal ideology of Zionism. However, Bristol University has decided to appeal the ruling, which means David Miller is going to the employment Appeals Tribunal, and needs to raise at least £75,000 for his legal fees. If he succeeds, it will strengthen the legal protection for anti Zionism and defend freedom of speech for everyone in Britain. But if Bristol University wins, it will be a huge blow to all of us speaking out against the genocide taking place in Gaza. Which is why we all need to support Professor Miller to ensure that our rights to speak out against racism and colonialism are protected. On 1 October 2021, Professor David Miller was unjustly sacked by the University of Bristol from his position as Professor of Political Sociology for expressing his research-based views on Islamophobia and the role that the Zionist movement plays in encouraging it. On 5 February 2024, the Employment Tribunal handed down its judgment, determining that Professor Miller was wrongfully dismissed and discriminated against on the basis of his anti-Zionist beliefs. However, Bristol University is now appealing that decision. If they win, they will undo everything we’ve achieved. But if we successfully defend our case, we will strengthen the protection for anti-Zionist beliefs in Britain.

BBC 7/7 series promoting the genocide from within the UK by demonising Muslims for a bombing attack they never carried out. ‘7/7: The London Bombings’ BBC films just come out. Anomalies in 7/7 not covered in the films. Tony’s Politics Show from 2015 – a special on 7/7 bombings – 13 holes in the official account – Fran Anderson.  Ex British Special Forces soldier Martin McDaid ran the Leeds bookshop where two of the 7/7 2005 London Bombers were producing jihadi videos at Leeds City Council expense! And he was training Tanweer and Khan over in Cumbria – it was a wholly UK government operation. “McDaid who?” would be the majority of people’s response if you mentioned the name McDaid in connection with the events in London on 7th July 2005. Yet Martin ‘Abdullah’ McDaid is a name that has emerged recently at the 7/7 Inquests. Due in no small part to the following section of the submission on ‘Preventability’ that J7 prepared and dispatched to the Inquests’ coroner and counsel: HELL’S ANGELS, THE TARTAN TALIBAN, AND THE SBS A former Hell’s Angel who worked at the Iqra bookshop in Leeds, Martin Gilbertson, claims that the most vocal of all those he worked with was not any of the four accused but a white convert to Islam; ex-SBS soldier and anti-terrorist operative Martin ‘Abdullah’ McDaid. Gilbertson said, “Martin ‘Abdullah’ McDaid did most of the talking, most of the ranting and raving; and as an ex-Marine, he knew about matters military.”24 Given his background, McDaid has featured surprisingly little in connection with the story of 7/7. McDaid’s apparent volte-face conversion from one of the highest levels of Defence of the Realm to ‘radical Islamism’, is still something of an unexplained and largely uninvestigated mystery. Also in close proximity to the four accused is another white convert to Islam, James McLintock, also with links to the Iqra bookshop. McLintock is a former fighter with the Mujahideen, also known by the Islamic name Mohammed Yacoub/Yaqub, and who has been arrested on separate occasions “on suspicion of terrorist activities”25, usually in the vicinity of Afghanistan/Pakistan border. Have any of these individuals been questioned by police in connection with 7/7? Gilbertson told a Guardian journalist, “I spent a lot of time repairing their PCs, and clearing viruses they had picked up from Jihad websites, put there, I think, by the Americans. When the Jihad sites were closed down, they were often replaced by pornographic sites, again – I think – by the Americans. At one point, the police took McDaid’s Laptop computer and stripped it down – I had to repair it. Naveed also had his home computer taken by the police, and I helped him build a new one.”26 In a separate interview with BBC Newsnight’s Richard Watson, Gilbertson revealed that the seizure of computers happened in early 2004.27 Why has there never been any mention of the police seizure of computers from the Iqra in early 2004? Baroness Varsi on Islamaphobia. David Miller on Al Jazeera about Bristol University reopening his case. Three grandfathers killed on the streets of England in three separate incidents by three different men. Each targeted simply for being Muslim – each attack a consequence of the insidious rise in Islamophobia in Britain. From the far-right violence that broke out in the summer of 2024 to the hatred directed at Muslims in public life during the Gaza conflict, anti-Muslim racism is dangerously out-of-control. Fed by a network of media outlets, think tanks, commentators, and even the entertainment industry, Islamophobia not only passes the dinner table test but is also Britain’s bigotry blind spot. For too many, Muslims Don’t Matter. In this incisive polemic, Britain’s first Muslim Cabinet minister, Conservative peer, campaigner and podcaster Sayeeda Warsi uses her dual experience at the centre of British power and in the heart of our Muslim communities to unapologetically challenge the corrosive consensus. As Muslims terrified by the riots seriously consider whether Britain should still be their home, Warsi urges us to change course, to unite and dismantle this toxic bigotry. Britain’s first Muslim Cabinet Minister, Sayeeda Warsi is also a lawyer, businesswoman and racial justice campaigner. Appointed to the House of Lords as a life peer at the age of thirty-six, she served as Chairman of the Conservative Party, in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and as Minister for Faith and Communities, an advisor of The Bridge Initiative at Georgetown University, a member of the International Advisory Board on Freedom of Religious Belief, University of Notre Dame and Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Bolton. Along with David Baddiel, she presents the podcast A Muslim and a Jew Go There.

Mossad’s Raffi Berg is Middle East Editor for BBC – Owen Jones article about him. Raffi Berg: BBC Middle East Editor Exposed as CIA, Mossad Collaborator A senior BBC editor at the centre of an ongoing scandal into the network’s systematic pro-Israel bias is, in fact, a former member of a CIA propaganda outfit, MintPress News can reveal. Raffi Berg, an Englishman who heads the BBC’s Middle East desk, formerly worked for the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Broadcast Information Service, a unit that, by his own admission, was a CIA front group. The CIA, however, is not the only clandestine spy organisation with which Berg has a long history of collaborating. He also has a rich professional relationship with Mossad, Israel’s premier intelligence agency. In 2020, for instance, Berg published “Red Sea Spies: The True Story of Mossad’s Fake Diving Resort,” a book that tells the story of the Israeli operation to clandestinely smuggle Ethiopian Jews into Israel. That the 320-page account lionises Israel and its spies is perhaps unsurprising, considering how much input Mossad had in its creation. Berg said that he wrote the book “in collaboration” with Mossad commander Dani Limor, whom he relied on extensively, as he, in his own words, knew “next to nothing” about the story and its background before writing it. Limor opened numerous doors and was able to secure “over 100 hours of interviews” with Israeli military and intelligence officials, including with the head of Mossad. Limor and Berg became extremely close friends. In 2020, he posted a picture of himself with his arm around the ex-Mossad commander. The first page of “Red Sea Spies” is simply a glowing recommendation from Efraim Halevy, former director of Mossad, a group Berg describes as “the world’s greatest intelligence service.” Berg has aggressively promoted his book and has, on multiple occasions, expressed his delight that Benjamin Netanyahu has shown interest in it. In August 2020, for example, he shared a picture of Netanyahu at his desk in front of a copy of his book. “First time I’ve been on a prime minister’s bookshelf” I know I’ve got one of Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu’s on mine – but wow!” he exclaimed, tagging Mossad, the Israeli Likud Party, and the Israeli Embassies in the United Kingdom and United States. The following year, he messaged Netanyahu’s son, Yair, stating, “Your dad has my book, ‘Red Sea Spies: The True Story of the Mossad’s Fake Diving Resort,’ and sent me a lovely letter about it.” That letter can be seen on the wall of Berg’s office in his many public posts and videos, framed and placed beside pictures of him meeting a Mossad commander and meeting Mark Regev, the former spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. That a BBC Middle East editor would not only frame these images and documents and put them pride of place in his office but also choose to display them while talking publicly and in an official role is telling. The BBC sells itself as an impartial distributor of news on the Middle East and beyond. And yet, Berg, who, by most accounts, calls the shots when it comes to the network’s Israel-Palestine coverage, clearly believes that this is acceptable and unremarkable behaviour. If the opposite were true – that even a low-level BBC employee was openly sharing pictures of themselves embracing Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar or displaying a glowing letter from Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei – it is clear that there would be serious repercussions. The BBC suspended six of its reporters for simply liking pro-Palestine tweets. And yet, in Berg’s case, his overt pro-Israel advocacy has been treated as entirely unproblematic…

Ex UK national TV executive Tamara Aboud has a campaign to sack the head of BBC News, Deborah Turness, for not reporting Gaza atrocities properly. PETITION: Sack Deborah Turness, the BBC’s Head of News. Started by Tamara Abood I am a former Commissioning Editor in News & Current Affairs at Channel 4. I have first hand experience of the extraordinary, malign influence that Zionist lobby groups exert over programme makers and broadcasters. I have spent the last 15 months watching in disgust as mainstream broadcasters in the UK have framed what is happening in Gaza through the lens of Israeli propagandists. Not hyperbole, but observable fact. Numerous reports are finally emerging of this bias, this deliberate failure to report the reality. Yesterday I read of concerns building over the flagrant bias of Raffi Berg, the BBC’s Middle East online editor. I know from former colleagues still in tv, that he is known to kill commissions that are critical of Israel or sympathetic to Palestinians. Raffi is the tip of the iceberg. Scratch the surface of the BBC and you will find it packed to the rafters with Zionists who will quash ideas for programmes that are critical of Israel and who will frame the reporting on Gaza to centre Israeli interests. It is my belief as a former lawyer and tv producer that, in time, our mainstream media will be judged to have been complicit in a genocide by providing cover for Israel’s crimes. In fact, as I write, lawyers who specialise in international law and human rights have many of these so-called “journalists” in their sights. Whether or not you accept my assessment, it is an incontrovertible truth that BBC license payers are being deliberately mislead about the nature and extent of Israel’s depravity in Gaza. The BBC is breaching its own requirements, and that of Ofcom, for due impartiality. As a license payer, you should be able to trust the BBC as a credible news source. The BBC is no longer credible. It has shown itself to be an outpost of the Israeli Ministry of Misinformation. The consequences have been and continue to be catastrophic for the Palestinian people, as the BBC subverts the truth in order to influence the public’s response in favour of Israel. It will be a very dark day indeed for trusting tv viewers around the world, when the chasm between what they were told was happening in Gaza and what was actually happening is finally exposed, the product of a deliberate strategy of lies and omissions by broadcasters like the BBC. There is a link at the end to a report (one of many) on the BBC’s suppression of the truth. They say “a fish rots from the head”. At the BBC that head is Deborah Turness. She is the CEO of BBC News, and this is happening on her watch. Your license fee pays her £400K + salary. Deborah Turness must go, and the BBC must commit to rooting out all its zionists, from Robbie Gibb, who sits on the BBC’s Editorial Standards Committee and who has links to the discredited Jewish Chronicle, to Raffi Berg whose dangerous bias is now being exposed by a number of sources. The BBC has ceased to be a broadcaster you can trust. You deserve better than to be manipulated by its news output.

“We create a pretend world. We are a global production company. We write the screenplay, we’re the directors, we’re the producers, we’re the main actors, and the world is our stage.” ‘Ex’-Israeli agents reveal how pager attacks were carried out.   BBC – Ex Mossad agents explain how they rigged walkie-talkies to explode in Lebanon.  Ex-Israeli agents reveal how pager attacks were carried out  Dozens of people were killed and thousands injured in the attacks Raffi Berg BBC News Published 23 December 2024 Two former Israeli intelligence agents have revealed how members of the Lebanese Shia militant group Hezbollah used Israeli made walkie-talkies booby-trapped with explosives for 10 years before they were detonated in a surprise attack in September this year. The two ex-Mossad agents told CBS News how Hezbollah was duped into buying thousands of rigged walkie-talkies and pagers without realising they were made in Israel. Dozens of people were killed and thousands injured in the attacks. Israel said it was tailored to target only Hezbollah members, but civilians were among the victims, Lebanese officials said. The UN human rights chief called the attack a war crime. At the time of the attack, Israel and Hezbollah were fighting a conflict which had spiralled since Hezbollah fired at Israeli positions a day after Hamas’s unprecedented attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023. On 17 September this year, thousands of pagers simultaneously exploded across Lebanon, mainly in areas with a strong Hezbollah presence. The blasts wounded or killed users and some people nearby, spreading panic and confusion. The following day walkie-talkies exploded in the same way, killing and injuring hundreds more. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that Israel was responsible two months later, Israeli media reported at the time. In an interview with CBS, external, the BBC’s US media partner, the two former agents divulged details of the operation. One of the agents, given the name Michael, said Mossad had concealed an explosive device inside the batteries operating the walkie-talkies, which he said would typically be carried in a vest nearer the wearer’s heart. He said Hezbollah had unwittingly bought over 16,000 walkie-talkies at “a good price” from a fake company 10 years ago. “We have an incredible array of possibilities of creating foreign companies that have no way of being traced back to Israel,” Michael said. “Shell companies over shell companies to affect the supply chain to our favour. “We create a pretend world. We are a global production company. We write the screenplay, we’re the directors, we’re the producers, we’re the main actors, and the world is our stage.” The operation expanded two years ago to include pagers, CBS said. Mossad said it found that at the time Hezbollah was buying pagers from a Taiwanese company called Gold Apollo. It set up a fake company which used the Gold Apollo name on pagers rigged with explosives, without the parent company realising. CBS said Mossad put explosives inside that were powerful enough to hurt only the user. “We test everything triple, double, multiple times in order to make sure there is minimum damage,” said the second agent, whom the programme called Gabriel. It said Mossad specifically chose a ringtone which would sound urgent enough for someone to check an incoming message. Gabriel said the agency duped Hezbollah into buying the pagers, making advertising films and brochures, and sharing them on the internet. “When they are buying from us, they have zero clue that they are buying from the Mossad,” he said. “We make like [movie] Truman Show, everything is controlled by us behind the scene.” Hezbollah had bought 5,000 of the booby-trapped pagers by September 2024, CBS reported. They were triggered from Israel when Mossad feared Hezbollah began to have suspicions, it said. The explosions caused shockwaves across Lebanon, with detonations happening everywhere the pagers were being carried, including in supermarkets. Hospitals were overwhelmed with casualties, many of whom had been maimed.

Zoe Thomsett, 17, was taken into care by Westminster Council. They sent her to a care home in Herefordshire from which she ran away a number of times; on the last occasion she was missing for three days before the alarm was raised. In a previous incident, she was traced to an address in Hereford. But no one had recorded it, so it was not checked until too late. She died there of a drug overdose. Jail for woman pimp who plied 12-year-old girls with cocaine 17th May 2007 A pimp who “launched the careers” of a string of teenage prostitutes in Paddington has been jailed for 10 years. Fiona Walsh, 32, from Third Avenue, West Kilburn, lured vulnerable girls as young as 12 off the streets with crack cocaine, Inner London Crown Court heard. She encouraged them to have sex with clients at her home, in the back streets of Paddington and in local hotels – offering one of the girls £125 to perform oral sex on a client. Five girls initially came forward to police and charges were pressed in relation to two girls, aged 12 and 15 at the time of the offences. The girls were both from ‘unstable’ backgrounds and cannot be named. Sentencing, His Honour Judge Roger Chapple said: “(Girl A, now known to be Zoe Thomsett who died shortly after the trial of an overdose in a private home in Herefordshire) was only 12 when she had the misfortune to meet you. “You started her upon a wretched downward spiral of drugs and prostitution. “You took gross advantage of her by supplying her with drugs. You of all people should know the pernicious effect of Class A drugs. “You launched her career. You crushed whatever hope there may have been for her to lead a happy and fulfilled life.” Earlier, Joanna Korner QC, prosecuting, told the court how Walsh had “cynically and cold-bloodedly befriended” both girls for her own benefit. She described the girls as “easy meat” because they came from dysfunctional backgrounds and gave details of a string of incidents when the girls were forced to prostitute themselves in order to fund their spiralling drug addictions. “According to (girl A), Fiona supplied her with crack within two weeks of meeting her,” said Ms Korner. “(Girl A) described one incident in 2005 when she had absconded from the care of social services and she met Fiona outside the Monkey Puzzle pub in Sussex Gardens. Fiona sent her to Normandie Hotel with a client and she received £90.” Walsh also offered girl B £125 to have oral sex with a punter in a backstreet. And, on another occasion when she refused to prostitute herself with two men, Walsh pushed her into a bathroom in a flat yelling: “I don’t get it for nothing, neither do you. You’re going to have to sleep with them both.” Ms Korner said Walsh had controlled girl A for more than two years from Christmas of 2003 and girl B for one month in May 2003. Girl B is now aged 19 and in a stable relationship with two children. Girl A’s life may have been ruined forever, the court heard. Walsh was arrested in March 2006 and later admitted her guilt on a string of charges. Her sentence includes three years for conspiracy to supply heroin to prisoners in Holloway while she was on remand.

Tesla car explodes outside Trump building.  FBI Leaving Evidence Behind at New Orleans Attacker’s Home Raises Questions A video shot by a journalist inside the Houston home of suspected New Orleans terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar shows “a bomb making station” left after an FBI search, and is raising questions on social media over security. Jennie Taer, bylined in the New York Post, put the video on X showing herself walking around the property leased by Islamic State supporter Jabbar, who police say drove a truck into a crowd of people on Wednesday killing 15 and injuring dozens. Newsweek contacted the FBI and Houston Police Department via email on Thursday outside of regular office hours. Anything that could hamper the investigation or corrupt evidence the New Orleans attack could have major implications, as the FBI and police attempt to establish more information about Jabbar’s background and how he was radicalized. In the two-minute, 13-second video, the reporter walks around Jabbar’s home, after it had been raided by police, pointing out his possessions, including various chemicals laid across workstations and religious texts. She prefaces the video in her post, saying she had “found a bomb-making station and a Quran open to a chilling passage about martyrdom” on the “EXCLUSIVE TOUR.” The footage raised concern from other social media users who questioned why a journalist had been allowed to enter the property and why some evidence appeared to have been left lying around. In the clip, which has been viewed more than 4.9 million times on X, Taer enters the property through a broken down door commenting: “We’re here inside the New Orleans terrorist’s home. You can see that its been clearly destroyed, the door at least, from the FBI raid yesterday but if we walk through the home we see some signs of what he was up to.” She proceeds to walk around the building showing various workstations complete with chemicals, personal items such as clothing and religious texts including an Arabic and English language copy of the Quran. According to the New York Post this was open on a page which read “they fight in Allah’s cause, and slay and are slain; a promise binding.”

Charlie Skelton article on new Chair of Bilderberg – Keeping WWIII on the road: Bilderberg Group changes itself for the modern world – and return of Trump Charlie Skelton Once the apex of conspiracy theories, the influential group signals a shift by naming ex-Nato chief as new co-chair The former head of Nato, Jens Stoltenberg, has been named the new co-chair of the influential Bilderberg Group, which convenes a yearly transatlantic policy conference and has long been the subject of conspiracy theories around the extent of its power to shape global events. After a turbulent decade at the helm of the alliance’s military, Stoltenberg now takes over at its pre-eminent discussion forum: a fiercely private four-day event frequented by prime minsters, EU commissioners, bank bosses, corporate CEOs and intelligence chiefs. Stoltenberg’s first Bilderberg was back in 2002, a few years before his second tenure as Norway’s prime minister. His decade as secretary general of Nato saw further visits, and he even gave the keynote speech at the group’s Saturday night banquet in Turin in 2018. His appointment as Bilderberg’s co-chair cements the group’s role at the heart of transatlantic strategy. In February, Stoltenberg will also take over as chair of the Munich Security Conference, another important defence and diplomacy symposium. With a fellow Bilderberg veteran, the former Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte, replacing Stoltenberg at Nato, it marks a concentration of control at the top of the Atlantic alliance at a critical time. Stoltenberg’s tenure at Nato was dominated by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which had begun in earnest not long before he took office in 2014. Stoltenberg oversaw what he recently described as “the largest reinforcement of our collective defence in a generation”, noting proudly that “defence spending is on an upward trajectory across the alliance”. A number of his new colleagues at Bilderberg have been benefiting from this uptick. Several of the group’s 31-member steering committee have senior roles in the defence industry. The billionaire former Google boss, Eric Schmidt, chaired the recent National Security Commission on AI, and is now busy launching a kamikaze drone company aimed at the lucrative Ukraine market. Meanwhile, the hugely wealthy Swedish industrialist Marcus Wallenberg is chair of defense manufacturer Saab, which enjoyed a 71% boost in orders in the first nine months of 2024, largely due to the war with Russia. The tech luminary and Donald Trump insider Peter Thiel founded the fast-growing robotics company Anduril and the booming surveillance and AI giant Palantir. His loyal lieutenant Alex Karp, the CEO of Palantir, was voted on to the board of Bilderberg a few years ago. Karp, who claims his company is “responsible for most of the targeting in Ukraine”, recently told the New York Times that the US will “very likely” soon be fighting a three-front war with China, Russia and Iran. In some respects, the geopolitical mood today is not so different from how it was in the 1950s, when Bilderberg was born. Top of the agenda at the first meeting in 1954 was “the attitude towards communism and the Soviet Union”, with the “strictly confidential” conference report referring repeatedly to “the communist threat”. Seventy years later, at the most recent summit in Madrid, the primary threat is “Russia”, which sat grimly at the foot of the conference agenda underneath “Ukraine and the world”, and “the future of warfare”. In 1954, the alliance was facing “the emergence ofcommunist imperialism”. In 2024, it’s up against what Stoltenberg calls “the emerging axis of autocrats”, headed by Russia, China and North Korea. Stoltenberg and his successor as secretary general, Rutte, were both at this summer’s Madrid meeting. Joining them in the conference hall were a clutch of high-up Pentagon officials and Nato’s second most senior military leader, US general Chris Cavoli, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe. It was Cavoli’s second conference, and he’s not the first Saceur to attend the talks: they’ve been coming along to strategise since the mid-60s. Bilderberg has always had close links with the military: its founders included senior members of British and American intelligence, and a previous Nato leader, Lord Carrington, chaired the group from 1990 to 1998. Even the shamefaced resignation of its founding chair, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, had a military twist: he was caught up in the Lockheed bribery scandal of 1976, the only year (pre-Covid) that the conference was cancelled. And it’s telling that arguably the most dominant figure at Bilderberg in the last several decades was the grand strategist and warmonger, Henry Kissinger, who was lauded as a foreign policy genius by some and despised as a mass-murdering war criminal by others. Bilderberg thrives on discreet diplomacy, elite networking and intelligence: a former chief of MI6, Sir John Sawers, is a member of the group’s steering committee and the current head of the CIA, William Burns, was a member before quietly resigning when he took office. But the arrival of Stoltenberg might signal a sea change: it’s a big-name appointment and follows the recent election of the high-profile CNN interviewer Fareed Zakaria to the group’s steering committee, perhaps signalling a shift out of the shadows for the publicity-shy group. Bilderberg hasn’t held a press conference for decades, but the urbane politician Stoltenberg is far more used to media briefings and Q&As than the man he replaces: the Dutch economist and Goldman Sachs adviser Victor Halberstadt, who died in September. In fact, Stoltenberg has already made a statement to the press about his new role, telling the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Näringsliv that Bilderberg, “together with the Munich Security Conference … is a good platform for cooperation between leaders in the political arena, business and the academic world”. If Stoltenberg is hoping to steer Bilderberg towards a little more engagement with the press, he might hope to get a helping hand from his co-chair, Marie-Josée Kravis, who sits on the board of Publicis, one of the world’s largest PR and communications companies. However, it’s quite possible that Kravis herself will step aside fairly soon: she’s been assiduously attending Bilderbergs since the late 80s. The younger generation of billionaires in the inner circle, particularly the Silicon Valley crowd, tend to be more at ease chatting into a microphone, while others on the group’s governing body, like the politician Stacey Abrams and the Starbucks board member Mellody Hobson, are accomplished public speakers. It will have to wait until Stoltenberg’s first conference as Bilderberg co-chair to find out if he’s shaking up the group’s publicity policy. This will, appropriately enough, be in Sweden. While at Nato, Stoltenberg welcomed four new members to the alliance: and Sweden was the most recent. The chief negotiator for Sweden’s accession to Nato, Oscar Stenström, was spotted hovering around the fringes of this year’s Bilderberg conference in Madrid: he is helping to organise next year’s summit in Stockholm on behalf of his new boss, the billionaire Wallenberg. The Wallenberg family conveniently own the venue: the magnificent Grand hotel, which will be cordoned off in mid-June for the event. What we know for sure is that Stoltenberg in his new role will be laser-focused, like one of Schmidt’s kamikaze drones, on strengthening transatlantic ties – which may not be entirely straightforward with Trump back in the White House and US foreign policy shaped by the “America first” agenda. Writing in the Financial Times last month, Stoltenberg noted that Trump’s “campaign rhetoric had raised legitimate concerns about his commitment to European security”. That said, Stoltenberg knows that however tricky things get with Trump, he’s got a hotline to the White House through Peter Thiel: the incoming vice-president, JD Vance, used to work for Thiel at Mithril Capital, and a healthy handful of Thiel’s tech network are lined up for senior posts in the second Trump administration. But that’s the thing with the studiously bipartisan Bilderberg: they’ve always got someone on the inside, whoever wins. For example, Karp, Thiel’s CEO at Palantir, was a big backer of Kamala Harris. Looking down the steering committee, Nadia Schadlow is Trump’s former deputy national security adviser, while Abrams is a high-profile Democratic politician and activist. Stoltenberg’s op-ed in the Financial Times last month stressed the bipartisan nature of the transatlantic alliance: “Support for and pride in the most powerful military alliance the world has ever seen remains strong across the political spectrum.” The former Nato chief was carefully welcoming of Trump 2.0. His strategy? Simply that “we need to invest more in defence” in order to “remind the incoming administration that, far from being a burden, the transatlantic relationship is a key strategic asset in this era of great-power competition”. So all of the high finance high rollers who get invited to Stoltenberg’s Bilderberg can expect to get the hard sell on military and defence investment. Now’s the time for Jens to get networking and glad-handing in the transatlantic wings, keeping the war on the road, the alliance strong and the mil-tech billions flowing.

Please let us know when you or Dave would like to come and retrieve your equipment and drop off your keys. BCfm’s weekly Politics Show presented by Tony Gosling with Irish Republican Labour activist Martin Summers was forced off FM, now online only by station manager Pat Hart, ‘rested due to the pandemic’ on 24 March 2020. Bristol Community FM (BCfm) charity ‘CEO’ Patrick Hart is a longtime personal friend of Bristol’s all-powerful right-wing ‘Labour’ mayor Marvin Rees. Now on Internet only NOT The BCfm Politics Show is available 17:00-c. 21:00 live on Fridays. Pat Hart replaced us with an inane student show repeating MSM stories called The Bristol Agenda. If you’d like to share your views on his deliberate dumbing-down and pro-Covid jab mismanagement you can contact UK broadcasting regulator Ofcom or BCfm board chair and the ‘Don’ himself, here.
