Mark Lane, US lawyer and author, died at 89 this week – he was famous for being the first person to question the official story of the killing of JFK: CIA didn’t like the ‘assassination theories’ he and others had been coming up with so deliberately popularised the term ‘conspiracy theory’ to belittle those questioning the official account. Clip of James Files recorded in prison explaining how he shot JFK along with others as part of a Chicago Mafia hit team which included Charles Nicoletti, Johnny Roselli; interview with Mark Lane, author of ‘Last Word, My Indictment of the CIA in the Murder of JFK’ (2011) discussing the secret group within the CIA, the IA, responsible for planned assassinations of heads of states and also details of killing of JFK and why he was killed. JFK assassination investigator Mark Lane died this week.
