US launches War Three on Iran for Israel. UK reluctant to get involved. BBC announces WW3 on Saturday. Trump wants Iranians to rise up and take government. Neither pre-emptive nor legal, US-Israeli strikes on Iran have blown up international law The joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran represent a further erosion of the international legal order. Under international law, these attacks are neither preemptive nor lawful. Israel and the United States launched Operation Shield of Judah and Operation Epic Fury while diplomatic negotiations between Washington and Tehran were actively underway on Iran’s nuclear program. Just two days earlier, the most intense round of US-Iran talks concluded in Geneva, with both sides agreeing to continue. US President Donald Trump indicated he would give negotiators more time. Then came the bombs. The illegality of the attack Israel said the strikes were “preventive”, meaning they were to prevent Iran from developing a capacity to be a threat. But preventive war has no legal basis under international law. The UN Security Council did not authorise any military action, meaning the sole lawful pathway for the use of force for self-defence was never pursued. Article 2(4) of the UN Charter prohibits the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state. Preemptive self-defence, as we have argued previously, has extremely narrow prescriptions under the Caroline doctrine. It requires a threat to be “instant, overwhelming, and leaving no choice of means”. No such conditions existed with Iran on February 28. Central to the current crisis is that it was Trump who ended the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018, which had regional support for controlling Iran’s nuclear program. The US director of national intelligence testified in March 2025 that Iran was not pursuing nuclear weapons, which the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency affirmed. US intelligence also reportedly indicated it would take three years for Iran to build a nuclear weapon. Moreover, US and Israeli strikes on Iran last year had put the program back by months. Trump claimed Iran’s nuclear program had been obliterated. Regime change by force is unlawful Trump said the attacks were intended to end Iran’s nuclear weapons program and bring about regime change. Trump urged Iranians to “take over your government”, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the goal was to “remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran”. Forcible regime change violates the foundational principles of state sovereignty and non-intervention under the UN Charter. The strikes targeted Iran’s supreme leader, president, and military chief of staff, as well as military infrastructure. Deliberately targeting heads of state also crosses a threshold that distinguishes military operations from acts of aggression. Attacking heads of state is illegal under New York Convention, for obvious reasons of stability. With the death of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the power vacuum will only increase the hardship on the ground for Iranians. In addition, promises to return the shah – Iran’s previous monarch – have not considered the authoritarian implications of such rule. Reports that an airstrike on an elementary school in Minab killed at least 100 girls aged between seven and 12 underscore the human cost of unplanned regime change. US and Israeli statements imply that regime change is prioritised over any plans of a replacement. But just like the aftermath of the death of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi that saw slavery return to Libya, or how Islamic State filled the power vacuum after the death of dictator Saddam Hussein in Iraq, regime change requires extremely careful planning. In this case, there is no obvious plan to rebuild or stabilise Iran after these strikes. Western allies have expressed concern that Washington lacks a coherent strategy for the aftermath of the attacks, noting the minimal preparation for post-conflict reconstruction and government transition. As Mexico’s representative stated at the UN Security Council following recent US actions in Venezuela, the historical record of regime change shows it has only “exacerbated conflicts and weakened the social and political fabric of nations”. According to The Atlantic, “complete chaos” is likely. Diplomacy as deception Launching strikes during active negotiations violates the principle of good faith in Article 2(2) of the UN Charter. As the Arms Control Association noted, Iranian policymakers had already accused the US of bad faith after the June 2025 strikes disrupted previously scheduled talks. Iran’s Foreign Ministry denounced the February 28 attacks as striking during negotiations, violating international law.

Iran launches global push to expose terrorist plot behind riots Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on Iranian envoys to present an accurate account of the terrorist nature of recent attacks against the country’s security and territorial integrity to the international community. Speaking during a webinar on Tuesday with ambassadors and heads of Iran’s diplomatic missions in Eastern European countries, Araghchi reviewed recent domestic and international developments. During the session, Araghchi highlighted the role of law enforcement and security forces in maintaining public order following the recent riots. Foreign-backed armed rioters and terrorists hijacked peaceful, sporadic protests over economic grievances on January 8 and 9. The violence, encouraged openly by the US and the Israeli regime, resulted in extensive damage to public and private property, with widespread destruction of shops, government institutions, public service facilities, and the killing of hundreds of civilians and security forces. Iranian authorities have confirmed that American and Israeli spy agencies were directly involved, providing funding, training, and media support to rioters and armed terrorists acting on the streets. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei has accused Israeli media of orchestrating a campaign of fabricated stories regarding casualties in recent terrorist riots in Iran. The Iranian minister also criticized foreign interference in Iran’s internal affairs and characterized recent attacks as part of broader efforts to undermine the country’s security. Araghchi further commented on recent developments at the UN Human Rights Council, stating that negative and abstention votes on an Iran-related resolution reflected a lack of consensus around Western double standards. The UNHRC adopted a resolution that extended the mandate of the so-called Independent Fact-Finding Mission on Iran for two years, and the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran for one year. The resolution also called for an urgent investigation by the Fact-Finding Mission, in the context of what it claimed to be crackdown in Iran. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 25 in favor, seven against, and 14 abstentions. “Iran’s diplomatic missions must convey to the international community an accurate and realistic picture of the terrorist nature of the recent attacks against the country’s security and territorial integrity,” Araghchi said. The meeting also focused on various aspects of Iran’s relations with Eastern European states, the provision of consular services to Iranian nationals living in the region, and an assessment of current internal and external developments affecting the country. Ambassadors and heads of missions participating in the webinar also presented reports on steps taken to enhance bilateral relations with Eastern European countries across various sectors.

Hearst says Tehran is seeking to make the costs of the war global, raising energy prices and threatening key infrastructure in order to internationalise the conflict. He concludes that the war could either break the Iranian state or trigger a renewed revolutionary mobilisation, but warns that the stakes go far beyond Iran itself. The outcome, he says, could reshape the map of the Middle East and determine whether Israel can redraw the region’s balance of power in its favour.

Tehran emphasized that it respects Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and has no intention of targeting its territory. Iran also suggested that the incident could be part of an attempt to damage relations between Muslim countries. Iranian officials hinted that outside forces may be trying to create mistrust in the region. Oman: Intercepted Drones but No Clear Source Iranian officials described Oman as a “friendly and neighboring country” and insisted that Iran had not launched any attack toward Omani territory. Turkey: Missile Intercepted by NATO Defence System Some signals from Turkish sources suggested that Iran could be responsible. However, on March 5 Iranian authorities firmly rejected the allegation. Tehran stated that it had not launched any missile toward Turkey and repeated that it respects Turkey’s sovereignty. Cyprus: Drone Strike Near British Airbase Another controversial incident took place on March 2 in Cyprus, where a drone attack was reported near the British Royal Air Force base in Akrotiri. Early speculation linked the drone to Iran or Iran-backed groups. Iran denied any involvement and suggested the possibility of a “false flag” operation. Tehran said such attacks might be carried out deliberately to blame Iran and increase hostility in the region. Interestingly, Britain’s defence ministry later said that the drone was not launched from Iran. This has left investigators searching for the real source.

Damning Epstein files with claims against Trump released during Iran war by US Justice Department Documents summarise interviews with an unidentified woman making accusations against US president over an alleged sexual encounter when she was aged between 13 and 15. The United States Justice Department has published additional FBI documents, describing interviews with a woman who said President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager after she was introduced to him by late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The documents had not been made public under previous congressionally mandated file releases related to Epstein, the disgraced financier, because they were mistakenly marked “duplicative”, the department said on Thursday. The documents released on Thursday include descriptions of multiple 2019 interviews the FBI held with the woman, who alleged she was assaulted by Epstein and Trump while she was aged between 13 and 15 years old. In one interview, the woman said Epstein took her to “either New York or New Jersey” and introduced her to Trump. She told investigators that she bit Trump as he attempted to force her to perform oral sex on him. The woman said she and people close to her received threatening calls over the years demanding she keep quiet, which she believed were related to Epstein. Interviews stopped FBI records reportedly suggest agents stopped speaking with her in 2019. In the report of the woman’s final interview, conducted in October 2019, during Trump’s first presidency, agents asked whether she would be willing to provide more information about Trump. In response, the agent wrote, she “asked what the point would be of providing the information at this point in her life when there was a strong possibility nothing could be done about it”. Advertisement Politico, the US publication which first reported the disclosures, said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the woman’s claims “completely baseless accusations, backed by zero credible evidence”. Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to the Epstein allegations, and the Justice Department previously said some of the documents it has released “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump”. Before the US and Israel launched their war on Iran five days ago, the fallout from files released by the US Department of Justice on the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was reverberating around the world. On Sunday, Republican US Congressman Thomas Massie, who helped push the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act through Congress last year, said, “bombing a country on the other side of the globe won’t make the Epstein files go away”. He has also been critical of the war. Shaiel Ben-Ephraim, an analyst with Atlas Global Strategies and a former Israeli diplomat, has told Al Jazeera that Trump “really needs a distraction from [his domestic issues] in the form of a war”.

Strait of Hormuz crisis: 700 tankers pile up as security fears paralyse shipping amid US–Iran escalation, says report As tensions rise following US-Israeli strikes on Iran, over 700 tankers are stranded in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil transit route. Shipping activities have plummeted, leading to soaring insurance costs and potential supply shortages, prompting Asian refiners to consider cutting operations. As of today, 706 non-Iranian tankers are waiting on either side of the strait, the agency said on 2 March. Of these, 334 crude oil tankers, 109 vessels carrying dirty petroleum products and 263 transporting clean petroleum products are positioned at various points across the Persian Gulf (west of the strait), the Gulf of Oman (east of the strait) and the Arabian Sea Oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has declined as security risks have increased amid escalating tensions in West Asia after the US-Israel strikes on Iran and its retaliatory onslaught in the region. Shipping activities have almost halted due to a conflict involving more than 700 ships gathered on both sides of the strategic route, according to a report by the Turkish news agency Anadolu. Located at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz connects West Asia’s oil and liquefied natural gas production to global markets through the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean. About 20% of the world’s daily oil consumption, or about 20 million barrels, passes through this strategic corridor. Following the joint attack by the United States (US) and Israel on Iran at the weekend, ship operators halted crossings amid soaring insurance costs. International news agencies have quoted an analysis by the instant data company Kpler, saying that as many as 21 million barrels of oil were transported by 15 tankers on 27 February, rising to 21.6 million barrels by 18 ships on Saturday. However, on 1 March, only three tankers carrying 2.8 million barrels crossed the strait, the agencies said. With an average daily flow throughout the year of 19.8 million barrels, shipments on 1 March recorded an 86% decline from the average in 2026, Anadolu reported. Is the Strait of Hormuz shut? Ever since the joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran that began over the weekend, there have been reports alleging that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had sent messages to ships intending to use the Strait of Hormuz stating that “no vessels will be permitted to pass.” Some reports suggested that these warnings were broadcast to ship crews operating in the Persian Gulf via the international hailing and distress frequency VHF Channel 16, yet no official statement has been issued confirming a formal closure of the chokepoint. Iranian media have claimed that the Strait of Hormuz has been effectively shut. United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said in a statement on Sunday that the maritime security level for the Strait of Hormuz had been raised to “critical”, the highest risk category.

Russia’s Sergei Lavrov – Iran had no nuclear bomb capability. Sergey Lavrov Accuses U.S. and Israel of Dragging Iran into a Wider Conflict with Gulf Countries Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused the United States and Israel of seeking to disrupt relations between Iran and its Arab neighbors in the Persian Gulf, amid the ongoing Middle East conflict. Speaking during the Russian Foreign Ministry briefing roundtable in Moscow diplomatic forum on March 5, 2026, Lavrov criticised the U.S.-Israeli military offensive against Iran. “I have no doubt that one of the goals was to create a split between the countries of the Persian Gulf, Iran, and its Arab neighbors, between which there has been a positive process of normalization in recent years. First of all, this was noticeable when Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran normalized,” said Lavrov. Moscow has condemned the strikes as an act of aggression, accusing Washington and Tel Aviv of exacerbating instability rather than containing it. Earlier on March 2, President Vladimir Putin, together with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, discussed the risks of the conflict. According to the Kremlin, both sides expressed serious concern about the real risks of the conflict spreading, which has already affected the territories of a number of Arab countries and could have catastrophic consequences. After the attacks launched on Tehran, Russia’s Foreign Ministry accused Washington and Tel Aviv of hiding behind concerns about Iran’s nuclear program while actually pursuing regime change. Lavrov warned that the attacks risked triggering a humanitarian, economic, and possibly radiological catastrophe in the region. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signaled that Moscow may consider ending most natural gas exports to Europe, instead focusing on emerging global markets that could offer higher returns. Putin Threatens to Cut Europe Off Gas Supplies Speaking on state television, Putin on March 4 said he would instruct his government to assess the potential move in coordination with Russian energy companies. “Other markets are opening now, maybe it’s better for us to end supplies to the European market right now? To go to those markets that are opening now and get a foothold there,” said Putin. He added that several buyers are willing to pay higher prices for Russian gas, which could offset revenues previously earned from European clients.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), an organisation dedicated to ensuring that all members of the US military are guaranteed religious freedom, told Middle East Eye on Tuesday that it had received more than 200 similar complaints from personnel serving in the army, navy, air force, marine corps, and space force. The complaints received by the MRFF, first reported by journalist Jonathan Larsen, have come from more than 40 units and span at least 30 military installations. According to MRFF, one combat unit commander told non-commissioned officers (NCOs) at a briefing on Monday that the Israeli-US attacks on Iran are part of God’s “plan” and that US President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth”. A US NCO who wrote to the MRFF said their commander had told them the war with Iran was “all part of God’s divine plan”. Meet Brian McGinnis, the Ex-Marine Ejected from Capitol Hill and Green Party Senate Candidate McGinnis was arrested and hospitalized Brian McGinnis, an ex-Marine and Green Party Senate candidate from North Carolina, was forcibly removed from a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. The hearing, focused on military readiness, was interrupted when McGinnis began protesting US and Israel’s involvement in the conflict with Iran. McGinnis later claimed his arm was broken during the removal, while US Capitol Police alleged he resisted arrest and assaulted officers. Incident Details According to video footage provided to CBS News, McGinnis, dressed in a military uniform, shouted statements including ‘America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel.’ Capitol Police attempted to escort him from the hearing room, but McGinnis appeared to struggle with officers. Greens win Gorton and Denton by election. Tommy Robinson supports new Restore Party. Gorton and Denton was a disaster for Labour – can Starmer find a way back? Sir Keir Starmer has acknowledged that the by-election result was “disappointing”, but has insisted he will carry on. The first ever Green by-election win, their first ever MP in the north of England, all in the first electoral test for the relatively new Green leader Zack Polanski. This is his moment – and reasonably so. Not wanting to punch a bruise, but ironically there’s something of the Andy Burnham about the new Green MP Hannah Spencer – her lilt, her approach, the way she talks about her plumbing job, her roots in the community – all a style Labour would be jealous of. And Labour could have had it too, had Burnham not been blocked by Keir Starmer. She will enter Parliament a perpetual reminder of a choice Labour could have had but Keir Starmer blocked. Make no mistake about it, this is a disaster for Labour. The party held the Gorton and Denton seat at the last general election by over 50%, and it was Labour’s 38th safest seat. Less than a week ago, one of Labour’s campaign team was swearing they would win, a message being repeated confidently amongst Labour MPs in the last 24 hours. Yet this morning the party is in third place – one of the top ten by-election losses of all time. Starmer’s by-election loss record now two out of two, after losing to Reform UK in Runcorn less than a year ago. Greens leader, Zack Polanski, describes their win as an ‘existential crisis’ for Labour as their candidate came third after Reform UK. But it’s not the raw results alone that will cause the difficulty for Starmer – it’s the nature of the loss to another progressive party, and therefore a defeat which hits every Labour neurosis. The Labour campaign made little sense. The party was fighting against Reform UK – opposing the extremist entrant, as they saw it, in the campaign and wanting to present themselves as the mainstream opponent. Yet Reform UK were not, in practice, the opponent. Their defeat was at the hands of the Greens, the failure was votes bleeding not to the right and Reform UK, but to the left and into the arms of Zack Polanski…

The former Labour leader’s supporters have won 14 of 24 seats on the party’s central executive committee (CEC), double the number of seats won by Sultana’s faction. On Wednesday, Corbyn said that he was “delighted” that Your Party members “voted for a mass, socialist party that takes the fight to Starmer and Farage”. He added: “We have a precious opportunity to unite our movement around a bold vision for this country – one that believes in a more caring, equal and peaceful society for all. I look forward to working with all members to make this vision a reality. The victory for Corbyn’s faction means the longtime MP will likely be named as Your Party’s parliamentary leader. “I have always held the view that everyone I meet knows something I don’t. Let us build a positive and inclusive party where all members feel empowered to share their ideas. “It is by listening to each other and learning from one another that we can unleash the power of all our communities and build the mass movement this country needs.” More than 25,000 of Your Party’s 40,985 verified members voted in the election, which placed both Corbyn and Sultana on the CEC. Ex-Labour MP Laura Smith was also elected, while Independent Alliance MPs Shockat Adam and Ayoub Khan missed out. In Scotland, independent candidate Niall Christie was also elected to the CEC. The ex-Scottish Greens activist faced off against veteran socialist Jim Monaghan, as well as Ian Drummond. Christie wrote on X: “Extremely proud to be elected to the CEC of Your Party to represent Scotland. “A massive thanks to all of the 570 members in Scotland who put their faith in me, and an equally big thanks to all the others who backed Jim and Ian – who I look forward to continuing working with.” Your Party Scotland recently announced that candidates would stand in May’s Holyrood election. At the first Your Party Scotland conference in Dundee three weeks ago, 69.8% of party members backed contesting the election. You were a brilliant fighter, who gave your all for the working class.” Manuel Cortes, the leader of rail union TSSA who joined Mr Crow on the picket line during the recent London Tube strike, said: “It was a privilege to campaign and fight alongside him because he never gave an inch.” Fire Brigades Union general secretary Matt Wrack said: “Bob was a good friend to me personally and to the Fire Brigades Union as a whole. “He was a strong leader for the labour movement and he’ll be sorely missed by those who knew him.” His death is a “devastating loss” to Britain’s trade union movement and to the cause of working people across the globe, declared GMB union general secretary Paul Kenny. The Cuba Solidarity Campaign described him as “a wonderful friend to the working people of Cuba.” Mr Crow’s older brother Richard described him as “one of those loveable little rogues, one of those guys that had bundles of friends.” He added: “People moaned that he lived in a council house, that he never drove a car – he lived a life of the average guy in the street and that’s a rare thing these days. “When people have a high office in life they fall for the big trappings of the flash cars and the big hotels and big houses. But Bob wasn’t like that, he was a genuine person of the people.” Even his political enemies felt obliged to issue hypocritical public comments. London Mayor Boris Johnson grudgingly admitted: “Bob fought tirelessly for his beliefs and for his members” while Prime Minister David Cameron’s spokesman said his death was “very sad news.” And Labour leader Ed Miliband, who in 2011 refused to share a platform with Mr Crow at the Durham miners’ gala, said he had “always respected his tireless commitment to fighting for the men and women in his union.” Mr Crow became RMT general secretary in 2002 following the death of former leader Jimmy Knapp. Born in Shadwell, east London, Mr Crow started working on the London Underground at the age of 16.

And then some of the pictures come out and you see the smoking gun that yes, Mandelson may have misled people. But when those pictures came out, you knew that the relationship was deep and close. How many of you viewers have been photographed in your underpants at a friend’s house? I think that is a very odd type of picture to have. I know you may not all be like me and insist on wearing a suit at all times of the day and most of the night, but isn’t that just weird and sleazy? Doesn’t that indicate a closeness of relationship? That is strange, to say the least, and that has just added more information to what we already knew. And this leaves the Government in a state of stasis. It cannot do anything. It is flatlining. The Prime Minister has no moral authority left. It was taken from him once he appointed Peter Mandelson and Mandelson’s dreadful behaviour was discovered every last detail of it unearthed.

It comes after Sir Lindsay Hoyle confirmed he had passed on information to the force suggesting the peer could be a flight risk. Lord Mandelson’s lawyers have complained about the Met’s decision to detain him as part of its probe into misconduct in public office allegations. They say he had agreed to an interview next month, and the decision to take him into custody was prompted by a “baseless” suggestion he was planning to “take up permanent residence abroad”. The BBC understands that Lord Mandelson’s lawyers were twice told by the police that information about his alleged travel plans had been passed on by Lord Forsyth, the Speaker of the House of Lords. On Tuesday evening, Lord Forsyth denied any involvement after he was initially reported as the source of the referral, calling the suggestion “entirely false and without foundation”. On Wednesday, The Times then reported the information had in fact been shared by Sir Lindsay. Shortly afterwards, the Commons Speaker made a statement to MPs confirming he had given “relevant” information to the force. He told MPs he had done this “in good faith”, considering it to be his “duty and responsibility”. “It is regrettable this rapidly ended in the media,” he added. He did not provide any details, but the BBC understands Sir Lindsay passed on information he received in the British Virgin Islands during a visit last week that Lord Mandelson was planning to travel there. Senior officers from the Met met Sir Lindsay on Wednesday to explain the situation, which is regarded by the force as a serious breach of protocol. A spokesperson for the force said: “The Met has apologised to the Speaker of the House of Commons this afternoon for inadvertently revealing information during an investigation into allegations of misconduct in public office.” The BBC understands the Speaker of the House of Lords has not yet received an apology from the Metropolitan Police. Lords sources said Lord Forsyth had arranged an urgent meeting with the Metropolitan Police on Thursday and was expected to receive clarification about how his name came to be mentioned. The sources said he wanted to know why, when the media was widely reporting erroneous information attributed to him, he was not contacted about the issue and the record was not corrected. Lord Mandelson’s lawyers Mishcon de Reya have written to the Met asking what information and evidence they based their decision to arrest their client on. The force is understood to have conducted its own assessment of the credibility of the information passed on by Sir Lindsay before deciding to arrest Lord Mandelson on Monday afternoon. The former Labour minister was taken to Wandsworth police station in London for interview, before later being released on bail pending further investigation. It is understood he surrendered his passport as one of his bail conditions.

In a statement to the Commons on Monday, Mr Jones said: “The Government intends to publish documents in tranches instead of one publication at the end of the process, given that we are unable to confirm how long that process will take. “On that basis, the Government expects to be able to publish the first tranche of documents very shortly in early March. “I should, however, inform the House that it remains the case that a subset of this first tranche of documents is currently subject to the ongoing Metropolitan Police investigation. “This includes correspondence between number 10 and Lord Peter Mandelson, in which a number of follow up questions were asked. “Because of the Metropolitan Police interest in this document, we are unable to publish it in early March in the first tranche, but will release it as soon as we are able to do so in consultation with the Metropolitan Police. “There is also a small portion of that material which engages matters of national security or international relations, and thus the role this House has envisaged for the Intelligence and Security Committee, we are working with the committee to establish processes for making this material available to them, and we’re very grateful to the committee in advance of their important contribution to reviewing these documents.” Mr Jones later added that the first tranche will include documents currently held by the Government, besides the previously mentioned exceptions. The subsequent tranches of information will include documents found by various departments through their searches. He said: “Commissions have gone out across Government for those departments to search their archives and databases to bring forward any documents that relate to the terms of the humble address. “And given the depth of the issues raised in the humble address, that of course will take some time to process.” The Conservatives accused the Government of acting “with the urgency of a tired sloth on a bank holiday Monday” in releasing documents. Shadow Cabinet Office minister Mike Wood said: “Careful work must not become a euphemism for managed delay. “It is time the Government stopped treating Parliament like an inconvenient interruption to their schedule, stopped giving every impression that they have priorities working out who’s back to cover, and started providing some actual answers so that we can start to get to the bottom of this murky matter.” Mr Jones responded that the Government was trying to manage a criminal investigation, and “I’m sure the House would not want us to inadvertently interfere with that process”. The Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal has rocked the institution to the core. Rather like the banking crisis of 2008, when the authorities were desperate to avoid contagion dragging down other banks, they are keen to prevent the spread. For a body that likes to remain discreet and private, this is a transforming, unnerving prospect. Andrew’s troubles have shone an unwelcome light on not only his, but all of their living and financial arrangements. It’s not that the other royals have anything particular to hide – we don’t know – but rather that so much has hitherto been off limits. To release all the detail, to suddenly go from nothing to everything, as they might well be required to, is bound to provoke shock and anger. This is a family, or “firm”, that likes to control how it’s presented. While this was once justified on the grounds that to let the light in somehow destroys the mystique, those days have well and truly passed. It is hard to see how those guard rails can be preserved when the deference has diminished, and MPs and media are champing at the bit. Even David Dimbleby (David Dimbleby!) has dared to front a documentary that asks, pointedly: What’s the Monarchy for? The National Audit Office is currently investigating Andrew’s use of his former home at Royal Lodge, and its report will be sent to the Commons public accounts committee. Its findings will be published and there will be public hearings. That is just for starters. The probe is not likely to stop there. This is an issue that is not going to vanish. A public struggling with an ever-rising cost-of-living burden, tax increases and a chronic housing shortage will demand answers, not just about Andrew, but about the wider family. They will not be receptive to obfuscation. The genie has been released from the bottle. There can be no going back. A detailed report last year from the anti-monarchy group Republic put the bill for the royal family’s upkeep at more than £500m annually. A substantial portion is derived from the sovereign grant. It comprises profits from the crown estate’s £15bn property portfolio, which covers a large area of London’s St James’s and locations dotted around Britain. Now, people want to know how those revenues are arrived at. Are rents properly and fairly calculated? Do some tenants enjoy more favourable terms than others? These are questions – and there are many, many others – that will require answers. Transparency is the order of the day. Tellingly, given Republic’s ideological antecedents, their study was not challenged by the royal household or its supporters. It prompted Norman Baker, the former Lib Dem MP, to ask in a new book, Royal Mint, National Debt – The Shocking Truth About the Royal Family’s Finances, to highlight that the bill for maintaining the UK royal family “is undoubtedly much higher than that of any other European monarchy”. He contrasts them with other royal families. In the Netherlands, the heir to the Dutch throne, Princess Catharina-Amalia, announced when she was 18 that she would renounce her £300,000 annual income while she was a student and forfeit £1.6m in expenses; in Sweden, the king removed royal titles from five of his grandchildren; in Denmark, the queen took them away from four of her grandchildren, saying it was “for their own good”, while in Copenhagen, Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Princess Mary, ferry their young children to state school by cargo bike. Writes Baker: “You can never imagine this normality, that informality, with the British royal family.” Here, our equivalents have the use of 50 residences, estates totalling 250,000 acres – among them the well known like Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Windsor Castle, Clarence House, St James’s Palace, Balmoral, Sandringham, Holyrood, Gatcombe Park, Highgrove, Royal Lodge, Bagshot Park and Thatched House Lodge, but also other Palladian houses and farms. Included in the royal collection, too, are the “grace-and-favour” apartments for servants and former staff and anyone else the King wants to put up. At the last public estimate, there were 272 of those alone. But that figure is cautionary. Because we simply do not know. The bill for maintaining the UK royal family ‘is undoubtedly much higher than that of any other European monarchy

In the years since, his work—which exalts production ahead of people, dismissing humans as meat puppets waiting to be discarded to make way for the alien intelligence that will become the true protagonist of history—has haunted my days and dreams. After learning we shared a city, I often wondered if we’d ever cross paths. In the intervening years, these ideas, once the fringe premonitions of an early internet cyberpunk, have started influencing the policies of the most powerful people on Earth. I walk over and introduce myself. “Nice to meet you,” he says, holding my gaze. After about an hour, Tivy turns to the audience, and announces that a surprise guest will be joining proceedings. Chest puffed and in aviators, Curtis Yarvin, that other would-be rock star of the neoreactionary scene, emerges from the crowd. “For the record, I’m not wearing these because I’m trying to be cool,” he clarifies from the stage in his distinctive monotone. “I’m wearing them because I lost my prescription.” “Curtis is looking good,” I hear someone whisper. “He must be back on Ozempic.” It’s the first time that the two men have met. Yarvin emerged first under his blogger pseudonym Mencius Moldbug, critiquing modern democracy as a failed system distributively controlled by a leftist “Cathedral” comprised of media, academia, and the bureaucracy, and proposing a CEO-monarch supplant it and take the reigns of power instead. Land wrote admiringly of Yarvin’s work in his 2012 book, The Dark Enlightenment, and ever since, the two have been grouped together, Land serving as a Kant-type underpinning the movement’s cosmological structure, with Yarvin the reactionary Rousseau articulating their political project.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor and former UK ambassador to Washington, Lord Peter Mandelson, were arrested and released on bail earlier this month over links with the convicted sex offender. A MoD spokesperson said: “The defence secretary has ordered a review of all records that the department may hold relating to Epstein flights landing at RAF bases to ensure that any information which relates to Epstein’s crimes is uncovered and provided to the relevant authorities. “The MoD will support any civilian police investigations. “Our thoughts are with all the victims of Epstein’s vile crimes.” It is reportedly not unusual for spare capacity at RAF airfields to be used for private jets, with private customers charged fees which cover all costs. When British police arrested Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr during the early hours of Saturday 17 August, on suspicion of the abduction and murder of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, they did so in the certain knowledge that absolutely no hard evidence existed incriminating either suspect. The reason for the rapid arrests was very simple: Just hours earlier, two small bodies had been found near the perimeter fence at USAF Lakenheath, and the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street was terrified of a massive political scandal involving American servicemen based in, or transiting through, the United Kingdom. Shortly after the arrests, British and American media organizations demonized Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr so successfully that public attention was diverted away from Lakenheath completely, and focused instead on the young couple from Soham who had earlier willingly spoken to television crews about their concerns for the well being of the two missing 10-year-old girls. Both knew the girls reasonably well. Ian Huntley was the caretaker at their school, and Maxine Carr was a former teaching auxiliary in their class. Millions of viewers around the world watched Ian and Maxine being interviewed by the media, and most were impressed by the openness of their statements and their genuine willingness to help if possible. Experts in non-verbal communication also noticed that Ian and Maxine’s involuntary body and eye movements perfectly matched what they were saying verbally to the journalists. In other words, both appeared to be telling the truth both verbally and non-verbally, an almost impossible feat for even a trained liar to fabricate. It is critical to note here also that both came across on television as perfectly normal, sane individuals, a reality later to be inexplicably challenged by police and psychiatrists in Cambridgeshire. If Huntley and Carr had been involved at all with the abduction and murder of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, would they have then been stupid enough to run the gauntlet of about 10,000 American servicemen en-route, and dump the two small bodies in a location clearly visible from Lakenheath Control Tower, taxi track, and main runway? A serviceman with detailed knowledge of activities and procedures inside the base might get away with it unseen, but certainly not two civilians from Soham in Cambridgeshire. So the perimeter would be an ideal dumping ground for American servicemen eager to return to “safe” territory at USAF Lakenheath, before either entering their barracks on the base, or catching a shuttle bus to USAF Mildenhall. In an attempt to demonize Ian Huntley still further, police “leaked” the damning information that he had been arrested for rape a number of years earlier. Well, yes, almost. While still a teenager Huntley had consensual sex with his girlfriend, who was only 15-years-old at the time, an offence in the United Kingdom known as statutory rape. He was never charged with an offence however, and his former girlfriend [now age 21 years] recently confirmed it was a mutual crush [love affair], with enthusiastic sexual consent on both sides. So for a while at least, police and media have managed to deflect attention away from the two massive nearby USAF bases at Lakenheath and Mildenhall, and the political minefield lurking just below the surface if the British public ever find out about the very large numbers of children abused, raped, and sometimes murdered by American servicemen on overseas duty. So let us properly consider the “American Connection”, before returning later in this report to the unbelievable ongoing psychological abuse of Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr. Though earlier in the investigation police declared they would be interviewing “700 known sex offenders” of British nationality, there was no mention of interviewing the 10,000+ US servicemen based in close proximity to Soham Village, or determining which other American servicemen has transited through the two bases, and on which flights, since Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman first disappeared. The simple fact that Holly and Jessica’s bodies were found within yards of the USAF Lakenheath perimeter fence, which in turn provides access to the American barracks within, should have had British police knocking on Lakenheath’s front door immediately. Unfortunately, any such action might have accidentally undermined Prime Minister Tony Blair’s personal slavish dedication to George W Bush’s ‘War on Terror.’

A notice released publicly by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service – known as the SVR – says it has received information indicating the two countries want to send Ukraine a ‘wunderwaffe’ weapon. The spy agency said: ‘Kyiv will be able to secure more favorable terms for ending the fighting if it possesses a nuclear bomb or at least a so-called “dirty bomb.” ‘Berlin wisely declined to participate in this dangerous adventure.’ This plan was responding to a recognition that ‘the current situation in Ukraine leaves no chance of achieving their much-desired victory over Russia’, according to the SVR. Downing Street said there is ‘no truth’ to the claims from the agency, suggesting it was ‘a clear attempt by Vladimir Putin to distract’ from his actions in Ukraine. He added: ‘You will have seen the Prime Minister’s words this morning, paying tribute to the incredible resilience of the Ukrainians, and you will have seen the package of action on military, humanitarian, reconstruction fronts announced today, which is a sign of where our support is for Ukraine.’ Responding to the claim in a post on X, the French Foreign Ministry said: ‘Five years into its “three-day war”, Russia would really prefer you focus on French and British nukes.’ Bizarrely, the SVR suggested the West would try to cover up the acquisition of the bomb by making it ‘appear to be the result of Ukrainian development’. This week, Palantir initiated a lawsuit against the Swiss publication Republik because of an article about Palantir’s attempts to sell its AI software to Swiss authorities over the last seven years. The article cites an internal report from the Swiss Armed Forces that claims Palantir represents a threat to their reputation and to national security because of the company’s intimate connection to the United States. Palantir is suing Republik to demand a right of reply. Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth, sprang into action, proclaiming that the Department of War’s AI “will work for us,” adding, “We’re building war-ready weapons and systems.” The Wall Street Journal claims Palantir played a key role in the terrorist attack on Venezuela. The seizure of President Maduro was carried out citing the preposterous excuse of enforcing a US arrest warrant. Of course, the US has no right to seize an alleged criminal in another country. This would require an extradition request. Donald Trump admitted that he simply wanted to seize control of Venezuela’s oil and control every country in the backyard of the United States. Immediately following this, the Trump administration claimed it had “the right” to seize Greenland and overthrow the governments of Mexico, Colombia, and Cuba. Now its military is preparing a new war of aggression against Iran. The seizure of Maduro matches the dictionary definition of the supreme crime under international law known as the Crime of Aggression. This is defined as: “the planning, preparation, initiation or execution, by a person in a position effectively to exercise control over the political or military action of a state, of an act of aggression… Such an act of aggression includes: • invasion or military occupation, • bombardment, • seizure of territory, • overthrow or control of a government.” Palantir should be investigated for its role in aiding and abetting this Crime of Aggression, for its role in the illegal invasion, in the extrajudicial killings of Maduro’s guards, and in the kidnapping of a head of state. These are acts that constitute Crimes Against Humanity or War Crimes under international criminal law. If any individuals or teams at Palantir’s UK HQ were involved in the planning and execution of the capture of President Maduro, we believe that UK police should investigate their role in the following crimes under UK law:

News Graveyards: How Dangers to War Reporters Endanger the World Journalist Nick Turse (Fellow, Type Media Center) examines how, since the 2000s, national governments and terrorist groups – from Israel, Syria’s Assad regime and the United States to the Islamic State – have found ways to curtail conflict coverage through myriad means, from repressive policies to armed attack. All have killed journalists and helped to foster a culture of impunity, turning conflict zones like Syria and Gaza into “news graveyards.” War Reporters Killed The war in Gaza has, since October 7, 2023, killed more journalists than the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (including the conflicts in Cambodia and Laos), the wars in Yugoslavia in the 1990s and 2000s, and the post-9/11 war in Afghanistan, combined. Worldwide, threats to journalists in conflict zones are increasing. In 2023, a journalist or media worker was, on average, killed or murdered every four days. In 2024, it was once every three days. Most reporters harmed or killed, as is the case in Gaza, are local journalists. Not only do local reporters face great risk, standing alone in the face of extraordinary violence; this also impairs news coverage and, as a result, the worldwide information ecosystem. The decreasing number of experienced foreign correspondents in conflict zones, due to long term shifts in the global news industry that have led to the de-prioritization of international news coverage and the closure of foreign news bureaus, has likewise crippled critical knowledge and helped facilitate the creation of news graveyards. Reliable information about wars and conflicts is essential for the wellbeing of local populations and is necessary to enlighten the world on the forces behind wars and the toll on civilians. Nick Turse is a fellow of the Type Media Center and was previously an Ochberg Fellow at the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He has reported on civilian harm in the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia and from conflict zones across Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Libya, Somalia, and South Sudan. So before they went to war, they practiced human sacrifice. They would commit mass murder of their enemies in public. So the Aztecs were really famous for this. The Phoenicians, specifically the Carthaginians, we will discuss them later this semester but the Phoenicians were also famous for a particular type of sacrifice which is child sacrifice. The Romans wrote histories insulting the Phoenicians for practicing this sort of sacrifice. But the Romans themselves practice human sacrifice. What they would do is that after every major war they would capture all the major leaders, all their enemies and they would parade their enemies through the streets of Rome. This is something called the triumph. At the end of the triumph, they would gather enemies at the temple of Jupiter. Jupiter is their god. And then they would strangle to death their enemies. That’s sacrifice. That’s human sacrifice. They didn’t call it that, okay? And they sort of disguised it. But we know for a fact that they did do this. So the question for us is why is it that this happens? Why do the Aztecs do it? Why do the Phoenicians do it? Why the Romans do it? And why is it today the Israelis do it in Gaza? And remember, okay, um what the Israelis are doing is quite horrific because it is really this sort of sacrifice. Why? is 47% almost half of the population of Gaza is under 18 years old. So the majority of people who are getting killed are in fact children. What is most striking or blatant about what’s happening in Gaza is that we can all see it for ourselves. And it’s almost as though the Israelis want us to see it and want us to hate them. Right? You can see all over the world popular opinion is turning against Israel. You have these popular protests all around the world protesting what is happening in Palestine. If they really wanted to do this, right? There are actually much more effective ways of doing this. For example, you could just poison their water or you could poison the ear so that everyone in Gaza gets a fast cancer. Right? We have the technology to do this. So, so Israel could do it this secretly and no one would talk about it and in 20 years time, 30 years time, the population of Gaza would all be gone. It would be a very secret, right? Instead, they choose to do this in front of the world. And my argument to you is that this is intentional.

Anti racist march in Bristol – then far right attacked Antifa benefit gig in Red Lion pub. Tommy Robinson brigade are pro Israel and anti Muslim. Bristol pub-goer says people turned up with flags wanting a fight Police are reviewing CCTV footage A group of people who turned up outside a Bristol pub wearing masks and waving flags seemed “intent on fighting”, according to a witness. Police were called to a “disturbance” outside the Red Lion pub on Whitehall Road yesterday afternoon (Sunday, February 15), involving “about 50 people with differing views”. A pub-goer who saw the group described seeing roughly “25 people fully masked up” and claimed some appeared to be “wearing pseudo stab vests” and were initiating violence. The witness, who asked only to be named as Frankie, was in a neighbouring pub at the time of the group’s arrival. Frankie said the group of self-proclaimed ‘patriots’ were shouting generic chants about “saving the country” but were heard making “direct threats of violence” to members of the community and customers at the Red Lion. The pub had shared a post on social media promoting a fundraising gig that day, advertised as a “benefit for Bristol Antifascists”. The organised event is believed to have been targeted by the ‘patriots’ in protest. BristolLive was told by a witness that the Red Lion Pub and its customers were “being hassled by a bunch of far-right people” waving flags and wearing face coverings. It is thought there was a stand-off between the two groups for about 40 minutes outside the pub. Video footage seen by BristolLive shows a group of people in masks in the middle of the road, waving St George’s flags around as police officers attempt to corral them. Members of the community, including young children, were seen walking down the street as both the group waving flags and those opposing were shouting as police officers separated them. In another video sent to BristolLive, footage shows a large group of people, again with their faces covered, appearing to throw punches and attempt to kick others as police officers try to disperse the crowd. A black van with a Union Jack on the front bonnet was also parked right outside the pub. As the group of masked flag-wavers began to disperse, Frankie told BristolLive there were around 100 people on the street to oppose them. Frankie said the large number of people looked like they were residents in the area and while they were not involved in the direct confrontation, came out to oppose the group. Frankie said members of the community appeared “distressed” and “concerned” by what had happened and even prompted some to say they were “going to start attending the antifa marches and counter-protests”. A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Police attended a disturbance involving about 50 people in Whitehall Road, Redfield, Bristol, at about 3.30pm on Sunday 15 February. “Two groups with differing views were involved in an altercation in the street, and officers stepped in to prevent a breach of the peace. The groups dispersed at about 4.30pm. “No arrests were made, but officers are reviewing CCTV and body-worn video footage. Any offences identified will be fully investigated. “If you have information or footage which shows criminal offences, please call 101 and give the reference 5226031153.”

Administrations rise by 41% amid surge in new year high street failures The number of businesses collapsing into administration has surged by more than 40% in January as a raft of well-known names on the high street hit the wall. Official figures from the Insolvency Service showed the number of company administrations jumped by 41% to 151 between December and January, and was also 14% higher than a year earlier. It comes amid a swathe of recent retail and hospitality administrations since the start of the year, affecting thousands of jobs, including American-inspired restaurant chain TGI Fridays, accessories retailer Claire’s, The Original Factory Shop, Quiz, footwear brand Russell and Bromley and Revolution Bars owner The Revel Collective. Game Retail also recently announced its intention to appoint administrators. A rescue deal was secured for TGI, with its assets sold to a subsidiary company of Sugarloaf, the firm behind the global TGI Friday brand. Despite this, administrators of TGI shut 16 restaurants with the loss of 456 jobs. And the future of many of the other firms that have gone bust since the start of the year remains uncertain, with administrators yet to announce deals. I just needed to be somewhere to try and deal with my bereavement.” Ellen, a 67-year-old grandmother, has spent nine years living in a van with her dogs. Lowe’s suspension by Reform UK came after allegations he made threats of physical violence against then party chairman Zia Yusuf. Lowe, a businessman and farmer who used to be chairman of Southampton FC, is expected to stand again for the Great Yarmouth constituency with local party Great Yarmouth First, which will be a partner of Restore Britain. Senior Conservative figures Susan Hall and Sir Gavin Williamson had been involved in an advisory board for Restore Britain when it was described as a political movement. Former minister Sir Gavin suggested to the Press Association he would end his involvement with Restore Britain as a result of it becoming a political party. Hall, the Tory leader in the London Assembly, is also understood to be leaving Restore Britain’s board. The BBC’s East of England political editor, Andrew Sinclair, said Lowe had a reputation for being a bit of a “maverick MP”. “He’s not very collegiate, which was one reason why he left Reform UK,” he said. “He also believes, more than many, that there is a real disconnect between mainstream politicians and the public – and he points to his Great Yarmouth constituency as proof that he is right. “There haven’t been any elections in the town since he left Reform but anecdotally he seems to have a lot of support. I have been shown private polling by both Labour and his own people which suggest that he would do well if an election was held now. “He believes that in a crowded marketplace there is room for another party, on the right, which will pride itself on its independence of mind. “He had hoped his local creation Great Yarmouth First would make its mark in this year’s local elections, but they have been cancelled. This new party will aim to pick up national support.”

From welfare cuts to a climbdown on inheritance tax for farmers, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Chancellor Rachel Reeves appear to have gone back on several manifesto pledges and promises made before they were elected. Sky News is looking at some of the biggest U-turns Labour has made since coming into power. Grooming gangs A central government-led inquiry into child sexual abuse in Oldham, requested by the council, was originally declined. Tech billionaire Elon Musk launched a series of online attacks on Sir Keir and safeguarding minister Jess Phillips over that decision – going as far as calling Ms Phillips a “witch” who should go to prison. Opposition leader Kemi Badenoch joined in, calling for a national probe. The prime minister resisted calls for an inquiry for months. But in June 2025, Sir Keir announced he would follow the recommendation of Baroness Casey to hold another inquiry into grooming gangs. In her budget in 2024, Ms Reeves changed the fiscal rules on how the government measures debt, allowing up to £50bn of extra borrowing. This was welcomed by many, but it wasn’t in Labour’s election manifesto. Back then, Ms Reeves talked more about her iron discipline with the fiscal rules. “But I can confirm today that we will be measuring debt differently,” she said in October 2024, ahead of the budget.

He initially volunteered with the International Legion of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, having served in the British Army Reserve, including five months in Helmand Province in Afghanistan, before his political career. Azov, founded in 2014 as the Azov Battalion, has been heavily involved in Ukraine’s war effort, notably during the unsuccessful defence of Mariupol in 2022. Its founder, Andriy Biletsky, was previously the leader of the neo-Nazi group Patriot of Ukraine, and has claimed that Ukraine should “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade […] against Semite-led Untermenschen”. Azov has been linked to far-Right extremists not only domestically but also in Russia and the United States, and until 2022 the group used the neo-Nazi wolfsangel on its badges.

Ras Judah, local Rastafarian, has died RIP – an interview he did with Tony. Tributes paid to race relations campaigner Judah Adunbi, known locally as “Ras Judah”, reportedly died on Friday Tributes have been paid to a “pillar of Bristol’s conscience” after the death of race relations stalwart Judah Adunbi. Mr Adunbi, who was known locally as “Ras Judah”, was in his early 70s and died on Friday, reportedly after a short illness. For decades, he had been a prominent campaigner in Bristol and was also a founding member of an independent group between the police and members of the city’s Afro-Caribbean community. Writing on Facebook, Bristol Black History Month said Mr Adunbi was “more than a campaigner or community elder. He was a pillar of Bristol’s conscience”. It added: “He carried both the pain and the pride of our city with unwavering dignity. “From founding the St Pauls Sports Academy to mentoring generations across Bristol, Ras Judah embodied service. He stood firm so others could stand taller.” In 2017, Mr Adunbi was Tasered by an Avon and Somerset Police officer outside his house in Easton when he was mistaken for a wanted man. At the time, he confirmed to the two officers who approached him that he was not the suspect they were looking for, but refused to give his name. After a dispute, he was Tasered by PC Claire Boddie and arrested. Charges for a public order offence and assaulting a police officer were later dropped. Boddie was cleared of all misconduct charges in 2018 and was found not guilty at a criminal trial. Months later, he was stopped again by police who mistook him for the same wanted man. In 2023, Mr Adunbi released a documentary called I Am Judah, which explored the incident and broader questions of race relations in Bristol. In 2009, he won a wrongful arrest case against the force and was awarded compensation, although a Taser was not used in that incident. ‘Courage and tenacity’ Alex Raikes, CEO of Stand Against Racism & Inequality, wrote on social media: “Many of us have stood on your shoulders and wouldn’t be where we are without your courage and tenacity. “So many will miss your contribution, be it sports, anti-racism, mentoring, community development, and also fun and celebration. “Thank you for all you have done. Piers Corbyn suspended from Your Party over allegations of supporting far right and racism – after talking to locals who’s daughters had been attacked by illegal immigrants. Dear Marion, Treasurer – for Complaints Team, Interim Leadership & membership Team, I was suspended from YourParty membership and excluded from the CEC London elections, despite being validly nominated and endorsed and being formally and validly invited to attend hustings. My suspension and exclusion is contrary to natural justice and YourParty’s own principles. Some of the conduct referenced predates the formal formation of the Party. I ask the Complaints Team to clarify: Whether the Party’s rules are being applied retrospectively?
