Remembering Mavi Marmara: ‘We really believed we would reach Gaza’ As reports confirm that 2018’s Gaza Freedom Flotilla has been stopped by Israel, a survivor’s film of the ill-fated 2010 mission is gaining awards... The situation began to grow tense the day before the attack. According to Audeh, Israeli authorities expanded the size of the ocean military zone to prevent the flotilla from getting near Gaza. Avigdor Lieberman – Israel’s defence minister at the time and the current foreign minister – said that the flotilla was a “provocation,” adding that it would be prevented from reaching Gaza “at any cost”. “But even then we thought the Israelis would just try and scare us, or hinder our journey – not kill 10 people,” says Audeh. The attack He describes a terrifying chain of events that took place at around 4:30am on 31 May. “It was late at night and completely dark. Initially, Israeli soldiers attempted to board the boat via Zodiac [inflatable] boats but we attempted to stop them by spraying water on them,” he says. “We were just trying to defend ourselves by the little means we had.” Audeh recalls seeing soldiers rappelling down ropes from helicopters “firing indiscriminately”. “There was a moment, just as the soldiers began to board the boat, when I was sitting on a bench looking out to sea and a gun laser sight spot was aimed at my body for quite a few minutes. At that point I thought they were going to shoot, so I just said a prayer and waited,” he says. But the shot never came. Instead, Audeh recalls being thrown to the ground and pinned down by Israeli soldiers with such force that they broke his ribs. They tied his hands behind his back so violently he thought they would break his arms, before they blindfolded him. “Even after they had gained control, the soldiers were beating the activists, not allowing any of us access to food or water, nor the use of the bathroom,” he says.

Far-right Israelis attack journalists and Palestinians at Jerusalem ‘Flag March’ MPs join Israelis on notorious rally through Old City, hours after hundreds raided Al-Aqsa Mosque Far-right Israelis attacked journalists and Palestinian shop owners on Wednesday, as hundreds marched through occupied East Jerusalem to celebrate Israel’s domination of the city. The annual “flag march”, which is part of the Jerusalem Day holiday, commemorates the occupation of the city by Israel in 1967. It passes through Muslim-majority neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem’s Old City. On Wednesday afternoon, a large number of Israeli settlers began marching in the vicinity of Damascus Gate, the chief entrance to the Old City for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. The settlers confronted Palestinian shop owners, demanding they close their shops ahead of the rally. Settlers threw stones and bottles at the Palestinians, and chanted inflammatory slogans, including “death to Arabs” and “Muhammad is dead”. Haaretz journalist Nir Hasson was knocked to the ground and kicked by Israeli youths before police officers intervened, the newspaper reported. Several videographers were also attacked, as Israeli youths attempted to violently prevent reporters from filming them.

Dozens feared dead in Israeli airstrike on UNRWA school in Gaza – More than 35 displaced people were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit an UNRWA-run school in Nuseirat, Central Gaza Amid early reports that an Israeli strike on a UN-run school in Gaza overnight into Thursday left dozens dead, humanitarians warned that cholera and other potentially deadly diseases stalk people uprooted by the war, forced to live among “mountains of trash”. “UNRWA can confirm that one of our schools in the Nuseirat area [in central Gaza] was hit overnight/early morning by Israeli Forces. ?The school was possibly hit several times,” the UN agency for Palestinian refugees told UN News. “The number of those reported killed is between 35 and 45. Scores others are injured. We are not able to confirm the above figure at this stage.” Speaking at the regular noon briefing, UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that the attacks were “another horrific example of the price that civilians are paying.” Children caught up in war Local officials in Gaza reported that 37 people were killed in the school building attack in the Nuseirat refugee camp near Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza. The toll included 14 children, it was also reported. Media cited the Israeli military that the strike’s objective was to eliminate Hamas operatives and that it was only given the go-ahead after aerial surveillance, with additional measures taken to reduce the risk to civilians. In an early response condemning the school attack, UNRWA said that 6,000 people had been sheltering on the premises. Since the war began, more than 180 buildings belonging to the UN agency have been hit, killing more than 450 displaced people in those facilities. “The vast majority” were schools-turned-shelters, UNRWA said, as it issued a reminder “to all parties to the conflict that schools and other UN premises must never be used for military or fighting purposes…UN facilities must be protected at all times”.

Kellie-Jay Keen is candidate in Bristol Central Kellie-Jay Keen, also known as Posie Parker, has made an unexpected entry into the race to become Bristol Central’s first MP. Keen, who used to live in Cotham, founded the Let Women Speak movement and will be standing for the Party of Women at the general election on July 4. Her website describes her as “unapologetic and unafraid” who “believes that language is the key weapon in the arsenal of those who wish to erase women”. Keen has also been referred to as an anti-transgender rights campaigner, a far-right transphobic activist and a bigot. Red Flag Australia says that protests need to be held against her because her “myriad links to racist, homophobic and sexist far-right figures and groups puts paid to the idea that there is something progressive about Parker’s supposed concerns for women”. The Party of Women is a private company that was first registered in Bath in February with Keen, who has a correspondence address in Trowbridge in Wiltshire, named as its sole director. All candidates who want to stand for election in Bristol need to hand in their nomination papers in the council’s electoral services office at the B bond warehouse on Spike Island, where Keen left it until the last day possible but was accepted as a candidate. On Friday, the self-declared “women’s rights advocate” also tweeted a video saying that there were no women’s toilets in the building that also houses the Create Centre and Bristol Archives. She also told her followers on X that she does not think “it’s remotely appropriate for councils to be flying rainbow flags or wearing rainbow lanyards whilst pretending to have no political bias during an election”.

UK Space Command officially launched Minister for Defence Procurement, Jeremy Quin MP, cut the ribbon to mark the official opening of the new headquarters building. First declared operational in September 1963, RAF Fylingdales is the UK’s primary military space sensor. Its primary duty is ballistic missile early warning, ensuring a surprise missile attack cannot succeed. RAF Fylingdales has a secondary Space Domain Awareness role. Personnel there routinely conduct 10,000-12,000 tracks of objects in Low Earth Orbit every day, and the radar can detect objects the size of a drinks can up to 3,000 miles into space. A special ceremony held at UK Space Command Headquarters at RAF High Wycombe today marked the official stand up of UK Space Command, with the first ‘Space Operator’ Badges presented to personnel. Space plays a vital role in the UK Armed Forces’ ability to undertake the majority of defence tasks, with any disruption to the space domain likely to lead to significant consequences for civilian, commercial, economic and military activity. The party wrote: “Agriculture, especially the rearing of animals for meat and dairy production, is a major driver of climate change. “It will not be possible to prevent catastrophic climate change unless consumption of these foods is drastically reduced, relative to the current level of consumption in the UK and the world. “Market forces and government policies have favoured increasing industrialisation of agriculture, mass-produced food and dependence on fossil fuels.” It added: “The Green Party will therefore use rationing to reduce the amounts of meat and dairy food consumed in the UK.”

Galloway’s Workers Party to stand candidates everywhere in challenge to Labour THE Workers Party will challenge Labour in almost every English seat at the general election, its leader George Galloway announced today. Among the party’s standard bearers will be former England cricketer Monty Panesar, who will stand in the Southall seat in west London. Unveiling the largest left-of-Labour electoral challenge in history, Mr Galloway, who returned to the Commons in the Rochdale by-election in February, said the party was speaking to three Labour MPs about their possible defection. “We will have the same impact on Labour as Farage and the Reform Party has on the Tories,” Mr Galloway told a press conference held with dozens of Workers Party candidates in Parliament Square. Stalwart support for the Palestinian people and opposition to British complicity in the Gaza genocide is the party’s rallying cry, but Galloway stressed that it would also campaign “from the NHS to the economy to crime to immigration, on all the issues that vitally concern the British people.” Asked why candidates would be stood against those Labour MPs who broke the whip to support a Gaza ceasefire last November, the Workers Party leader stressed that they could not countenance backing anyone who would “put Keir Starmer into Downing Street” since he was “co-responsible for crimes against humanity.” The Workers Party will however support a small number of independent candidates of the left, including Claudia Webbe in Leicester East and Jeremy Corbyn in Islington North, though Mr Galloway expressed a measure of bemusement at the latter’s delay in declaring his intentions. “I hoped that Mr Corbyn would lead an alliance, a united front for a new politics,” he said, acknowledging that this would not happen this side of the election at least. “I do hope that he does not miss the boat.” Mr Panesar said that he was standing to “represent the working-class people of this country” and to close the gap between rich and poor. The party’s aim is to fight every seat in England at the election, and has already adopted candidates for most London constituencies, as well as many in Scotland and Wales. The precise number will be affected by the timing of the poll, but 500 candidates are already in place. It seems that candidates are going to be expected to be largely self-funding in most cases.

The US president begins with a retelling of the devastation and evil unleashed on the world by Hitler. He tells the stories of some veterans in the audience, including one medic whose plane crash-landed under German fire before continuing to treat wounds and save lives. “Every one of them knew the probability of dying was real, but they did it anyway,” he says. D-Day “turned the tide in our favour” and proved “the forces of liberty are stronger than the forces of conquest”, he adds, saying it proved the “unbreakable unity of the Allies”. Dunkirk anniversary: The real reason Hitler let the British troops go Why did Hitler decide not to press ahead with a final thrust which would surely have destroyed the Allied troops? On 20 May 1940 Hitler’s tanks reached the Channel coast near Noyelles-sur-Mer. Within less than two weeks they had thus achieved what the German army had failed to do in four years in 1914-18. Huge parts of Northern France and neighbouring Belgium were now under German control. The war of Nazi Germany against its neighbours in Western Europe had reached its climax. In a daring operation, which had begun on 10 May, they seemed on the verge of victory. Only a few bridgeheads were still held by British, French and Belgian forces. The most important one was Dunkirk. Its defence and, moreover, the evacuation of 338,682 Allied soldiers between 26 May and 4 June under the guns of German tanks, soon became part of British folklore. The withdrawal was facilitated by the Germans’ decision not to finish the Allies off. Hitler and his commanders could have pushed ahead and made the killer blow, but decided to effectively let the Allies off the hook. This decision was surprising at the time and looks even more surprising in hindsight, giving rise to much speculation. This was nourished by one of Hitler’s last statements before his suicide on 30 April 1945, claiming that he had allowed the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) to escape as a “sporting gesture” in order to induce British Prime Minister Winston S. Churchill to conclude an agreement with Nazi Germany. But what actually happened? Why did Hitler decide not to press ahead with a final thrust which would surely have destroyed the Allied troops? After being forced to withdraw from a number of battles to avoid encirclement, the Allies were eventually left with their backs against the wall, in a huge pocket near Dunkirk. They were surrounded by thousands of German troops and tanks and under the gaze of German aircraft, which had also inflicted heavy losses upon the Allies in the weeks before.

CHAPTER FOUR – MARTIN BORMANN AND NAZI GOLD Extracted from Marilyn, Hitler and Me The memoirs of Milton Shulman Andre Deutsch (1998) ISBN 0 233 99408 4 A third questionable exploit described in some detail by Creighton in OpJB was the role he was given by Desmond Morton to establish himself as a British traitor in the eyes of Admiral Canaris, Chief of the Abwehr, who was known to have anti-Hitler sentiments. The Russians and the Americans were pressing for a cross-Channel invasion of Northern France in 1942, but Churchill thought such an onslaught against the Atlantic Wall would be suicidal. He had plans for an attack on the under-belly of Europe in the Eastern Mediterranean in 1943. The Dieppe raid used Canadian troops as the sacrificial lambs to prove how futile such a cross-Channel invasion would be. To make sure Dieppe was a failure – although it was assumed the losses would be relatively minimal – Creighton was sent to meet Canaris in Berlin and tell him of the coming raid. In the process he would establish himself as a useful British defector whom Canaris could trust because of the accuracy of his information about Dieppe. Creighton claims it authenticated him as a British traitor but he never knew whether the information he provided about Dieppe was passed on to the commander of the garrison at Dieppe. In proving the impregnability of the Atlantic Wall and postponing Overlord for almost two years, Dieppe achieved its purpose. But at the cost of over 3,000 men – mostly Canadians – killed, wounded or captured in an action lasting just over nine hours. His credentials as a spy for the Germans were particularly vital in his role in the invasion of Normandy and in Operation James Bond. The Allies had organized a huge and complicated deception plan to convince the Germans that Overlord would take place in the Pas de Calais. Wireless messages were full of coded orders which, when deciphered indicated the Pas de Calais was the target. Bombing operations hit roads and railways leading to the Pas de Calais, as if designed to hinder reinforcements arriving there when the invasion began. Dummy ships were floated on the English coast nearest Calais, with troops being embarked on them in daylight when they could be seen and taken off at night when they could not.
D-Day 6th June 1944 – 150,000 SOLDIERS IN SUCCESSFUL SURPRISE NORMANDY LANDINGS. The key role of occult writer Dennis Wheatley in D-Day’s success: At the beginning of World War Two Wheatley was recruited to a highly secret department of the War Cabinet and in December 1941 he became a Deception Planner. The objective was to divert the resources of the enemy away from the real Allied operations and to direct them against imaginary operations. Deceptions include the “Man Who Never Was” and “Monty’s Double” and the deception over D-Day about the time and place of the Allied assault on Europe. When Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin took the decision at the Tehran Conference in November / December 1943 that the invasion of Normandy would take place the following summer, LCS swung into action to create cover plans. DW described the following six weeks as among the most interesting in his life. Taking his lead from a comment of Churchill’s that ‘Our intentions must be surrounded by a bodyguard of lies’, Bevan gave the operation the codename Bodyguard. Operation Bodyguard had many subsidiary plans. One was to persuade the Germans that the Russians were about to launch a major offensive against Finland – something Bevan journeyed to Moscow in January 1944 to arrange. Another (Operation Graffham) involved discussing with Sweden what they would do in the event of an Allied invasion of Norway, in the knowledge that the information would almost certainly be fed back to Germany. Perhaps the most famous of LCS’s schemes was the creation of FUSAG – the fake First US Army Group that was supposed to be stationed in Kent under General Patton in preparation for an attack on the Pas de Calais, while the real Expeditionary Forces destined for Normandy were being assembled in Hampshire. DW told the story of how, when they were crafting their plans for submission to the Chiefs of Staff, they became increasingly long and set about by caveats. DW was worried they had become so cautious and long winded that they would be rejected, and set about persuading Bevan to shorten and simplify them.
‘OP JB’ book by John Ainsworth-Davis (aka. Christopher Creighton) explains how he was ordered to betray the Dieppe raid to the Nazis to embed his MI6 cover as a loyal Nazi spy. He was taken to Dieppe clifftops and told if the ‘surprise’ raid did not turn up he would be shot and thrown into the sea, but at midnight it did. Op. After distinguished service as artillery officer and aide-de-camp to General Haig during the First World War, Morton worked for the Secret Intelligence Service from 1919-1934, As Director of the Industrial Intelligence Centre in the 1930s, Morton’s warnings of Germany’s military and industrial preparations for war were widely read in Whitehall, though they failed to accelerate British rearmament as much as Morton – and Churchill – considered imperative. Morton had met Churchill on the Western Front in 1916 and supported him throughout the ‘wilderness years’, moving to Downing Street as the Prime Minister’s Intelligence adviser in May 1940. There he remained in a liaison role, with the Intelligence Agencies and with Allied resistance authorities, until the end of the war, when he became a ‘troubleshooter’ for the Treasury in a series of tricky international assignments. Major Sir Desmond Morton KCB CMG MC (13 November 1891 — 31 July 1971) was a British military officer and government official. Morton played an important role in organizing a response to appeasement of Germany under Adolf Hitler during the period prior to World War II by providing intelligence information about German re-armament to Winston Churchill. In 1940 Morton was Churchill’s personal assistant when he became prime minister. Morton joined the Royal Artillery in 1911. He saw action in World War I, and was shot in the heart at the Battle of Arras in 1917. However, he survived and recovered, serving again with the bullet still inside. He served as aide de camp to Sir Douglas Haig, commander of the British Expeditionary Force from 1917 to 1918. He was seconded to the Foreign Office in 1919 where he was head of the Secret Intelligence Service’s Section V, dealing with counter-Bolshevism in the mid-1920s, and was Head of the Industrial Intelligence Centre of the Committee of Imperial Defence from 1929 to 1939. From 1930 to 1939 he was also a member of the CID sub-committee on Economic Warfare. In 1939, he became the Principal Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Warfare, and became Churchill’s Personal Assistant in 1940. He served on the Economic Survey Mission to the Middle East in 1949, and served in the Ministry of Civil Aviation from 1950 to 1953. Morton was portrayed by Jim Broadbent in the 2002 film The Gathering Storm. Millions of words have been written about the fate of Marin Bormann, Hitler’s indispensable private secretary, and head of the Nazi Party Chancellery, who vanished at the end of the Second World War. In October 1946 the most-wanted Nazi war criminal was condemned to death in absentia at Nuremberg, but he was never found or brought to justice. Christoper Creighton now reveals that in the final night and day of the war, as the Soviet armies closed in on the capital of the Third Reich, Bormann was lifted from Berlin by a Commando raiding party, led by Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, and himself. The team spirited their captive down the waterways to meet the Allies on the River Elbe, and by mid-May 1945 Bormann was safe in England, where he assumed a new identity. Operation James Bond was ordered by Major Desmond Morton, head of the ultra-secret M Section of naval intelligence. Its ulterior purpose was to recover the immense fortune appropriated by the Nazis and salted away in numbered Swiss bank accounts, to which Bormann alone had access. Christopher Creighton, whose real name, the book-jacket informs us, is John Christopher Ainsworth Davis, has written a thumping yarn. Mr Creighton claims from adolescence to have been befriended by Von Ribbentrop, Lord Mountbatten (a college friend of his father), Major Desmond Morton, Churchill’s friend and head of the Industrial Intelligence Centre, and by Churchill himself, when he and his mother rented a cottage on the Chartwell estate. Morton recruited our hero, age 16, via Dartmouth into his ultra-secret “M-section”

Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile by Paul Manning (1981) Anticipating the defeat of the Third Reich, Reichsleiter Martin Bormann set up 750 corporations in neutral countries, primed as vehicles to receive the liquid (Sullivan & Cromwell laundered) wealth of Germany in addition to patents and other proprietary industrial information. An organizational genius and the real power behind Hitler, Bormann, known as the “Brown Eminence”, successfully fled Europe for South America and administered a “Reich in Exile” in the years following the war. One banker quoted by Manning termed the Bormann Organization, the “world’s most important accumulation of money power under one control in history”. Controlling Germany’s major corporations, the Federal Republic itself and much of Latin America, the Bormann Organization also maintained a formidable circle of influence in the United States. As part of his coverage duties, he was the only member actually allowed to fly on U.S. Air Force missions as a fully functional crew member. Having qualified as a gunner, his flights included B-17 missions with the 8th Air Force over Germany and several B-29 missions to Japan. On behalf of CBS, he broadcasted the surrenders of Japan and Germany. In 1948, along with fifteen other distinguished war correspondents, he was awarded a medal for his reporting of the unconditional surrender of the Germans at Rheims. After the war Manning continued his journalistic profession and also served as a speechwriter for Nelson Rockefeller.

Starmer signals possible review of UK arms sales to Israel under Labour government The UK Government has resisted pressure to halt the licences, amid concerns that Israel could be in breach of international humanitarian law. Legal advice on UK arms sales to Israel would be reviewed under a Labour government, Sir Keir Starmer has suggested. More than 100 artists and celebrities have called on the Labour leader to revoke UK export licences to Israel if his party wins the election. The UK Government has resisted pressure to halt the licences in recent months, amid concerns that Israel could be in breach of international humanitarian law as the conflict in Gaza continues. Deputy foreign secretary Andrew Mitchell has previously said UK companies provide an estimated 0.02% of Israel’s overall arms imports. Answering media questions at a campaign event at the Fusilier Museum in Bury, Sir Keir said: “It is for the Government obviously to review the licences. They do it one by one. “They have got legal advice. We’ve been pressing them to disclose that legal advice. And I still press them to disclose that legal advice. “Obviously, if we’re privileged to come in to power, we’ll be able to see that advice or commission our own. “But look, I will just add this, that the Rafah offensive should not go ahead. And that I think our Government should follow the US lead on this in relation to arms sales and review the licences to see whether any of them would be or are being used in the Rafah offensive.” He said his “number one priority is to ensure we get a ceasefire” in the Israel-Hamas war. Sir Keir added a Labour government would have a “duty” to play a “full part” in resolving the conflict in the Middle East for the long-term. He insisted human rights, international law and accountability “matters in Gaza”, adding: “You wouldn’t be human if you were not affected by the images that we’ve seen, the reports coming out of Gaza, the sheer number of people who have been killed – many of them women and children – and also the knowledge that hostages are still being held.” The Labour leader went on: “The best thing we can do for both sides, for everybody concerned is to press for that ceasefire immediately, straight away. That’s been our position for weeks and weeks and weeks and months. “We will join with other countries to that end if we get the opportunity to do so and I think there’s a lot of common ground here with other people, who I know are deeply concerned about the issue in Gaza and I’m not surprised. “But the first and most fundamental thing is getting that ceasefire, ensuring we can get hostages out – I shudder to think what state they will be in – to make sure we can get humanitarian aid in, desperately needed and has been for a long time, an absolute catastrophe. “And then that duty we will have if we come into power to play our full part in resolving the conflict in the Middle East for the long-term and that can only happen if we work with our allies, if we play our part on the world stage and clear the path for a two-state solution – I’m not going to pretend that’s going to be easy, I’m not going to pretend this isn’t a very difficult starting point but that has to be, will be, the only way forward.”

Making the announcement on Thursday, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said, “We made this decision in light of the continuation of the military operation in Gaza.” “We also observe with enormous concern the regional extension of the conflict,” he said in a news conference. Spain took the decision to not only “let peace return to Gaza and the Middle East” but also due to its commitment to international law, Albares said. “Our sole goal is to put an end to the war and to advance on the road of applying the two-state solution”, Albares said, a week after Spain, along with Ireland and Norway, recognised the state of Palestine. The move by the three countries sparked Israeli fury, which accused them of “rewarding terrorism” and withdrew its ambassadors. South Africa brought its case against Israel in late December, accusing it of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza, which began in October, has surpassed 36,500, according to health officials in the besieged and bombarded territory.

The US Embassy isn’t that we don’t have an American ambassador that’s meeting with the Russians on a regular basis, saying it’s all misunderstanding what do we need to do to avoid war. We have a US government together with NATO allies that think Russia is bluffing and they are seeking to put as much pressure on Russia as possible, prior to this “peace summit” that’s been convened by Ukraine and Switzerland, in the middle of this month, a peace summit that’s falling apart before it even begins. But the operating notion is that we must convince Russia that we are serious about the consequences Russia will accrue if it continues military engagement against Ukraine that Russia’s only choice is to be compelled to the peace table. Russia is not playing that game. Russia is playing the game of “we’ve won this war and if you want to make it a broader war, we win that war too” Here’s how serious Russia takes it. Here’s another statement. from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on May 30, “We do not rule out additional steps in the sphere of NUCLEAR deterrence, because our command centers and the locations of our nuclear forces will be in range of American forward-based missiles.” This is about as serious as you can get. You know, there’s a lot of Americans out there in the armchair warrior category, who are like “unleash the ATACM’s. The ATACM , is the long range, up to 300 kilometer range missile, that we have provided to the Ukrainians. Ray McGovern, and next time you have Ray on you can talk to him about this has highlighted, you know, some of the negotiations that were taking place between the Russians in the United States before the initiation of the Special Military Operation. And the Russians kept saying, “we can’t let NATO into Ukraine”, because we can’t allow American missiles into Ukraine because a lot of these Russian facilities, command centers, etc, that Russia uses were conceptualized and constructed during the Soviet Union when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. So, from a Russian perspective, they were deep in the Russian rear protected, but if Ukraine now was carved out made part of NATO, and you insert American missiles there, all of these places that were thought to be safe in the rear are now reachable if America allows Ukraine to use ATACM’s them as missiles to strike these facilities. Russia will nuke NATO, not Ukraine, NATO. And this is what Lavrov just said, …”if you do this now, according to the Ukrainians, they’re complaining that the United States will only allow them to use the HIMAR’s that they won’t be allowed to use the attackers to strike Russia yet. Just so everybody in your audience understands, we are one ATACM launch away from everybody dying. We are one attack and launch away from everybody dying. Do you think Russia would attack Berlin, Paris,London? Russia said they will attack Berlin, Paris, London, Brussels. Russia will attack the decision-making centers associated with any attack against Russia that Russia deems to represent an existential threat.
Doctorow – what we should expect from Russia after NATO takes out Russian radar system. Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0 by Gilbert Doctorow – International relations, Russian affairs The first point is that the most likely revenge attack by Russia for any missile strikes on its cities or critical civilian and military infrastructure will be….a massively destructive attack on Kiev. Why Kiev, you may ask, when the same Russians are saying that the Ukrainians are only the fingers on the button and when all the settings, all the inputs for targeting have been made by Americans or Brits or French, depending on the specific missiles that were used. The reason is that hitting Kiev, decapitating the Ukrainian government, will result in the least possible blowback. It will not lead to a nuclear war. Europe and the USA do not give a damn about Ukrainian lives, so the cost to Russia of such a strike will be nil. Moreover, striking Kiev will be a demonstration to Europe and to the USA that they are not bluffing, that they have the determination to go all the way in their confrontation with the West to safeguard their sovereignty and national existence. It will be implementing what the political scientist Karaganov was proposing many months ago, whether it is carried out with conventional or tactical nuclear weapons. If nonetheless, strikes on Russian assets in the RF continue, the next point of attack by the Russians will be the marshalling centers in Poland which receive weapons and other military supplies from the United States and European NATO countries for delivery to Ukraine. One key airport is named in this connection. Why Poland? Because the rest of Europe is hardly likely to come to its aid. Continuing up the escalation ladder, I believe that the Russians will then, and only then, attack military factories and bases in Germany, the United Kingdom, France. Like the leaders of these countries, Russia does not really expect the United States to come to their aid and honor its Article 5 obligations under the NATO treaty. Only in the last instance will Russia attack the United States using its strategic nuclear arsenal, meaning only if it is under direct nuclear attack from the USA. This, notwithstanding the clearly stated Russian understanding that behind all of the European provocations against it stands Washington, the hegemon and puppet master. The United States will be the very last to come under Russian attack precisely because the nuclear exchange that comes will be suicidal for both sides.

The numbers are staggering — 350,000 Russian troops dead or wounded. Nearly 1 million people have left Russia because they can no longer see a future in Russia,” Biden said. The real number of dead or wounded troops in the Ukraine war is unclear since neither side shares information about casualties. But it’s likely Ukraine has suffered more casualties since the conflict is largely an artillery war, and Ukrainian forces have been significantly outgunned. Russian officials were not invited to the D-Day commemoration despite the Soviet Union being an ally of the US and France during World War II and suffering tens of millions of deaths. Biden used the event to rally support for NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine and slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “tyrant.” “We know the dark forces that these heroes fought against 80 years ago. They never fade,” Biden said. “Here, in Europe, we see one stark example. Ukraine has been invaded by a tyrant bent on domination.” Biden also declared that NATO was the “greatest military alliance in the history of the world” and framed the proxy war in Ukraine as a battle for “democracy” despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky canceling elections and remaining in power after his term ended.

Ukraine was part of Russia for longer than the United States has existed. It was first created as an independent country in the early 1990s by Washington following the Soviet government’s collapse and replacement of the Communist Party rule’s with Yeltsin’s, a puppet of Washington. Ukraine is thus an artificial country merely 30 years old, having never previously existed as an independent country. Taiwan is a small island off the China coast, a part of China inhabited by Chinese people. Washington tried to pretend that a small island was China and had Taiwan setting on the UN Security Council. But President Nixon knew better. He supported the removal of Taiwan and its replacement with the Chinese mainland. Nixon originated the one-China policy that was US policy until the Biden Regime. Israel was a creation of the stupid and corrupt British government, or perhaps more correctly of the fanatic Zionists who drove countless undefended Palestinians from their towns and villages. Generations of Palestinians have been born in refuge camps located in Jordan and Lebanon. The genocide of Palestine as a people and a country has been ongoing since 1947, and nothing has been done about it. Israel has gotten away with it by using the Holocaust card to gain sympathy for its victim status and by paying Western politicians with campaign contributions to support its agenda. Now consider the fact that these three totally artificial countries totally lacking in any reality are each capable of unleashing nuclear Armageddon. Ukraine can do it by continuing to use Western-supplied long range missiles to attack Russia’s early warning system. Taiwan can do it by accepting occupation by US soldiers and more shipments of US missiles. Israel can do it by getting the bought-and-paid-for-Biden regime to OK Israel’s attack on Iran. The question I now propose to you is: If in fact the US is a superpower, and if the West as a whole constitutes a mega-super power, how it is possible for three artificial states to have control of the West’s future?
