it is a shame that anyone interviewed regarding anything that happens in politics just talks about the polititions when the fact is that the people in power are the banking establishment . these are the people who the polititions take their orders from and these are the people who are behind the wars and the terrorist attacks that we have seen over the years . why interview people who blame the polititions when they are just representing the bankers lets start interviewing the people who are trying to get the truth out about the banking establishment because these are the real people in power
I couldn’t agree more David. Look at the new UK PM; she was 18 years in the financial services sector including 6 years at the Bank of England. Her husband works in investment banking. There is no chance that they will ever encroach on the power of the City. Then a further 6 out of 21 in the cabinet are all former City people including: Philip Hammond, Chancellor of the Exchequer (although in manufacturing for a while, he became a consultant to the World Bank). Amber Rudd, Home Secretary (JP Morgan and various Venture Capitalists). James Brokenshire, Northern Ireland (Lawyer advising City firms). Andrea Leadsom, Environment Secretary (18 years in investment banking). Sajid Javid, Communities and Local Government (VP at Chase Manhattan). Alun Cairns, Wales (Lloyds Banking Group). Private banking sits at the root of most of the world’s ills, and yet you will not hear one word of criticism of the City.
thanks for your comment Gordon if me and you can both see what is happening what is stopping everybody else even tony and martin who I follow along with others for keeping up with the news they must see it also, that’s why I find the headline for this weeks show strange . as much as I hate tony blair and wish him nothing but bad things he did not take us into war in Iraq his bosses did and they are the banking establishment who control this country so they are the people who should be in prison and yet they do not even get mentioned .
Hi Dave, Teflon Tony is a particularly obnoxious individual. My reading of it is that he really thought that he had influence in Washington, when in fact he was playing with a gang, the vile and genocidal nature of which, he really didn’t understand. Blair was a willing patsy; but an indictable one at that. The Neocons sitting behind Bush were hell bent on destabilizing the Middle-East come what may. (Search: Wesley Clark, 7 countries in 5 years) It seems to me that they figured that causing chaos in the middle-east would make it a lot easier to make lucrative and dodgy oil and reconstruction deals. It also worked out nicely for Israel having all of their neighbors in chaos. Chaos always facilities rapid restructuring of power blocks, and this is why the US occupying force fired all former Baathist members and the entire military and police force. If you keep the organs of power in place, you would not create sufficient chaos to control all of the deals. Another recent example is Syria, which was a US CIA/Exxon/Qatari gas pipeline dispute with Assad. If you don’t agree with the US, you suddenly find yourself with a vicious insurgency on your hands (Libya et al). The question is, how are the banks all linked into this? Well, all foreign wars cost huge amounts of money, and in the USA the only way to finance these foreign wars is by expanding the national debt by borrowing from external or internal private/sovereign lenders. So, at the end of the day, the private banks are making huge sums of money from all foreign wars; and they always have. Foreign wars are good for the banking business – very good.
