We have been ready to go live on BCfm’s FM server remotely, awaiting the go-ahead from Pat Hart since 16th March. Initially we were told ‘In the light of government and Ofcom guidance’ Pat Hart’s team decided ‘not to broadcast discussion or political shows’ that ‘might put the FM licence at risk’, because they ‘don’t want the burden of dealing with potential Ofcom complaints’. As it turns out ‘bad health and medical advice’ came from official government decisions and announcements which we were’t able to criticise on FM and thousands are dead unnecessarily. Now we’ve been told a wider ‘reorganisation’ is underway and this show may be allowed to return to FM in November 2020.

EHRC Report on anti Semitism in the Labour Party:  Kier Starmer on the results; Reality Check – THAT Mural is Not Antisemitic – It’s time to put this lie to bed – the mural is not antisemitic. Not at all. ‘anti Semitic’ cartoon – The media say the cartoon displays “antisemitic tropes”, that it “caricatures Jews”. None of that is true. It is not antisemitic, it is not intended to be so, and anybody saying otherwise is either knowingly lying, or hasn’t done their research. The defense of the mural is simple: the artist said it wasn’t about Jews. There are six people in the picture, two of them are Jewish, but four of them are not. They are all very rich and powerful men. If your argument is “they must be Jewish, because they’re rich and they’ve got big noses and they’re exploiting people”….well then YOU are the antisemite, not the artist. That’s a simple summary, now let’s get more detailed. Mear One, the mural artist who painted it, released a statement when it press furore started. It never got much attention in the mainstream media because it didn’t fit their narrative: It was also [the media’s] interpretation, and never mine, to point out “hook noses” “crooked noses” and other vile Nazi, Third Reich anti-Semitic propaganda, even concocting cuckoo ideas like how the naked figures under the monopoly board depicted “starving holocaust victims” when they actually represent the multi-races of humanity! As a thinking feeling human being to hear such stuff makes me sick to my stomach. According to artist, the mural was about billionaires oppressing the poor. That holds up, given the names of the people in the picture: I chose to depict the likenesses of such early turn of the century Robber Barons, specifically Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan, Carnegie, Warburg, as well Aleister Crowley who was a kind of philosophical guru to the ruling elite of that time and a well-known Satanist. 1. “ROTHSCHILD”The Rothschilds are one of the richest and most powerful families to ever exist. The own and operate central banks in dozens of nations, hold title in both English and Austrian nobility, and serve as financial advisors to the Queen of England. Which ever one the artist meant, yes, they are one of only 2 people in the picture who were actually Jewish. 2. JOHN D. ROCKEFELLERThe original Rockefeller, possibly the richest man to ever exist, he founded the Standard Oil Company in 1870 and ended his life with a fortune worth 400 billion in adjusted dollars. Easily identifiable by his side-swiped hair and small moustache, he was an Evangelical Protestant. He was not Jewish. 3. JP MORGANOne of the richest and most powerful men of the modern era, JP Morgan had a storied career in finace, steel, railways, and many others (not to mention spots of war profiteering). He was also a driving force behind the setting up of the Federal Reserve. The most easily identified thanks to the huge nose, the bigger moustache and the tiny spectacles, JP Morgan was a lifelong Episcopal Christian, he was not Jewish. 4. ANDREW CARNEGIEAndrew Carnegie was one of the richest Americans to ever exist, making billions in the steel and railway industries. His later charity work notwithstanding, he was a premium example of a robber baron. His legacy lives on in the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a US-backed NGO and integral part of the Deep State. He was born in Scotland to Presbyterian parents. He was not Jewish. 5. PAUL WARBURGPaul Warburg was a member of German-Jewish banking dynasty who moved to the US in 1902. He was director of the Wells-Fargo bank and then chairman of the Federal Reserve. He is considered the major driving force behind the founding of the Fed, and was a vocal supporter of central banking. Marked by the receding hair and big moustache, Warburg – unlike almost everyone else in the picture – was actually Jewish. 6. ALEISTER CROWLEYAleister Crowley is the only subject not associated with high-finance. He was an occult figure, an author and (his biographers allege) a sometimes intelligence agent for His Majesty’s Government. Standing out for being the only entirely hairless subject, Crowley was born to wealthy Christian parents, and then founded his own religion. He was not Jewish. (As a “prolific Satanist”, he’s actually the only person included in the picture based on their religion, so you could argue it’s an anti-Satanic mural.) In conclusion: The majority of the people in the mural are not jews. None of them were included for being jews. Judaism or Jewish symbols do not appear and are not in anyway referenced in the painting. It is not antisemitic.

British Intelligence working with terrorists. Stakeknife scandal: Freddie Scappaticci avoids perjury charge. Man accused of being state spy within IRA now unlikely to appear in court over alleged role. The PPS’s decision means there is little prospect of the spy appearing in any criminal trial despite a multimillion-pound police investigation into his role as a state agent inside the IRA. The agent was allegedly implicated in acts of murder and torture while leading the IRA’s mole-hunter teams. Reports have widely named Freddie Scappaticci as Stakeknife. The 73-year-old from Belfast was accused of running the IRA spy-catching unit that interrogated and killed members of the organisation accused of being informers. All the time it is alleged he was an undercover British agent passing high-grade intelligence about the IRA’s inner workings to the state. Scappaticci has denied being Stakeknife. Outlining his reasons for not prosecuting all four individuals, Herron said: “After a thorough analysis of all available evidence and with the benefit of independent advice from highly experienced senior counsel, I have concluded that in each case there is insufficient evidence to provide a reasonable prospect of conviction for any offence. In these circumstances the evidential test for prosecution was not met. The second limb of the test for prosecution, which relates to the public interest in bringing proceedings, did not therefore fall to be applied.” Boutcher told a parliamentary committee in the summer that his investigation into the Stakeknife scandal would be unlikely to result in any criminal prosecutions. The PPS decision could mean the man accused of being the agent described by one senior British army general as “the jewel in the crown” of intelligence assets inside the IRA never appears in court. Further files from Operation Kenova are still under consideration relating to a range of potential offences including murder, false imprisonment and assault. The PPS said decisions on these additional matters would be issued in due course.

Bill Gates’ Halloween 1998 Memo: Microsoft’s explosive leaked 1998 Halloween Document, describing the necessity of ‘gaming’ the Operating System market and crushing competition to maintain and advance their monopoly into the 21st century – Halloween Document I (Version 1.14) – Open Source Software: A (New?) Development Methodology. Microsoft has publicly acknowledged that this memorandum is authentic. The list of collaborators mentioned at the end includes people who were known to be key players at Microsoft. It is likely that Bill Gates read it, agreed with it and possibly contributed to it too, and the document reads as though the research effort had the cooperation of top management; it may even have been commissioned as a policy white paper for Bill Gates’s attention (the author seems to have expected that Gates would read it). Either way, it provides us with a very valuable look past Microsoft’s dismissive marketing spin about Open Source at what the company is actually thinking — which, as you’ll see, is an odd combination of astuteness and institutional myopia. Despite some speculation that this was an intentional leak, this seems quite unlikely. The document is too damning; portions could be considered evidence of anti-competitive practices for the DOJ lawsuit. Also, the author “refused to confirm or deny” when initially contacted, suggesting that Microsoft didn’t have its story worked out in advance. Since the author quoted my analyses of open-source community dynamics (The Cathedral and the Bazaar and Homesteading the Noosphere) extensively, it seems fair that I should respond on behalf of the community. 🙂 Key Quotes: Here are some notable quotes from the document, with hotlinks to where they are embedded. Special thanks to Sing Out Bristol for performing for us today.  Every year across the world the LGBT+ community comes together to celebrate Pride. This year Bristol Pride Festival takes place from 2 – 15 July, with a number of other events happening all across the summer. Most people see Pride as a carnival – a time to have fun. That is an important part of it, but it of course represents so much more than that. Pride is an active stance against discrimination and violence towards the LGBT+ community. It increases visibility of this social group, helps build a sense of community and celebrates diversity, recognising the significant value that it brings to our city. At this time of year it’s important to look back on the origins of Pride, which commemorates the Stonewall Riots that broke out in Greenwich Village, New York in the summer of 1969. The police raided a popular gay club, prompting people to fight back in protest. To mark this event, a small group of people proposed the first Pride march to take place on the last Saturday in June. This served as an annual reminder to highlight the wider injustices that the LGBT+ community came up against. In the 1980s and 90s there was a cultural shift, and grassroots parades evolved into the formally organised events that we currently have, which millions of people enjoy every year across the world…

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) fined Goldman Sachs International (GSI) £96.6 million. It was part of a larger co-ordinated resolution with Goldman Sachs Group over the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), which will cost the bank 2.9 billion US dollars (£2.2 billion).

Milton Keynes Lighthouse Covid Testing lab a ‘cowboy operation’ not working – A scientist who processed coronavirus swab samples at one of the UK’s largest labs has alleged working practices were “chaotic and dangerous”. He highlighted overcrowded biosecure workspaces, poor safety protocols and a lack of suitable PPE. The Health and Safety Executive has uncovered safety breaches at the lighthouse lab in Milton Keynes. The UK Biocentre, which runs the lab, said strict safety measures were in place and improvements were being made.. He said fellow workers had limited laboratory experience and were not given proper safety induction. “I found they’ve got no experience with this sort of facility or handling bio-hazardous, and then they’re just launched into this facility,” Dr Harris said. He saw two people using biosecurity cabinets – enclosed, ventilated workspaces where scientists open the tubes containing the contaminated swabs – which were only calibrated to have protective airflow for one person. “Once you disrupt that [airflow], you might as well be working on an open bench. It just disrupts the whole reason for a cabinet to protect the operator. And it is really disturbing,” Dr Harris said. He called the working practices “chaotic and dangerous”…

Earlier this year we revealed how Cardiff-based Deryn had been contracted by Ofcom Wales to monitor events at the National Assembly for an unspecified fee. There had been no competitive tendering and two of Deryn’s senior figures – former Plaid AM Nerys Evans and former Labour special adviser Huw Roberts – sat on Ofcom’s advisory committee for Wales. Another of Deryn’s directors – Cathy Owens – is also a former Labour special adviser. South Wales Central AM Neil McEvoy – currently sitting as an Independent after being suspended from Plaid Cymru after speaking out against the party’s support for scrapping tenants’ rights to buy council homes – complained about the awarding of the contract and said it illustrated how in his view there should be a register of lobbyists in Wales run by the Assembly. Now Ofcom has confirmed that Mr McEvoy’s complaint has been upheld. Alison Crosland, Ofcom’s group director of corporate services, has written to the AM stating: “Thank you for your correspondence earlier this year. At the time, we wrote to you to state that the issues you had raised were very serious and that we would review the procurement of the monitoring service in Wales. “We have now externally reviewed how the service was procured in light of Ofcom’s internal processes and I am writing to share the outcome. This concluded that the way the contract was awarded was not consistent with Ofcom’s required processes and a competitive procurement should have been undertaken. “The review concluded that the decision to procure the service was based on its usefulness, and the fact that employees of the supplier hold positions on the Advisory Committee for Wales had no bearing on the decision.

Liverpool Gyms To Reopen After Protests – Liverpool Gyms To Re-Open In Tier 3 Areas, Following Pressure on Government to U-Turn – It’s been an incredibly tough year for gym owners. In March, a nationwide lockdown forced all fitness centres, health clubs and gyms to close their doors ­ with no set re-opening date ­ to fight a respiratory virus that was spread, primarily, indoors and in close quarters. Almost three months after the national closures came a gradual re-opening of these facilities, only for localised ‘lockdowns’ in September and October to kick in once again and force many business owners in at-risk areas to shut their doors to the public. The frustration came to a head earlier this week when “seven or eight” armed police served a Liverpool gym owner with a £1000 fine after he refused to close the space, despite the city’s strict ‘Tier 3’ lockdown rules. Bodytech Fitness owner Nick Whitcombe was instructed to shut down the premises in Moreton after an anonymous tip warned the police that the gym was still open for business despite the new safety measures. Whitcombe believed that, after the local lockdown, gym members “Won’t have one to come back to” and shared footage of the police inside his gym, saying: “we have just received our first £1,000 fine at Body Tech.” “…So, they’ve told us ‘close immediately’ or I’ll take a £1,000 fine. Obviously we still had quite a lot of members training and I said to the officers, “I’m not asking anyone to leave. I’m going to let them finish their sessions first.”

Initially we were told ‘In the light of government and Ofcom guidance’ Pat Hart’s team decided ‘not to broadcast discussion or political shows’ that ‘might put the FM licence at risk’, because they ‘don’t want the burden of dealing with potential Ofcom complaints’. As it turns out ‘bad health and medical advice’ came from official government decisions and announcements which we were’t able to criticise. Now we’ve been told a wider ‘reorganisation’ is underway and this show may be allowed to return to FM in November 2020.

First hour News Review: Will there be a no-deal Brexit?

Press Association – ban on agents defeated- MPs reject attempts to specify in law limits on undercover agents By Richard Wheeler, Sophie Morris, George Ryan and Lewis McKenzie, PA Political Staff PA Media: UK News15 October 2020 Attempts to explicitly ban undercover agents from being authorised to kill, torture or rape have been defeated by the Government. MPs voted 256 votes to 316, majority 60, against Labour’s proposal to specify in the Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Bill the limits on what such agents could be allowed to do. Under the Opposition amendment, the limits would have included causing death or bodily harm, violating the “sexual integrity” of a person, and subjecting someone to “torture or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment”. The Bill aims to protect undercover operatives from prosecution if they are forced to break the law on operations, and also seeks to define circumstances in which operatives can commit crime – replacing various pieces of overlapping legislation. It will cover 13 law enforcement and government agencies, including the police, the National Crime Agency, the armed forces and the Prison Service. Ministers have previously denied the Bill gives undercover agents a “licence to kill” and insisted the upper limits on what operatives can be authorised to do already exist. They say they are contained in the Human Rights Act, which includes the right to life, prohibition of torture, and prohibition of subjecting someone to inhuman or degrading treatment. The Bill later cleared the Commons, receiving a third reading by 313 votes to 98, majority 215, and will undergo further scrutiny in the Lords. Thirty-four Labour MPs rebelled to oppose the Bill, thereby ignoring orders to abstain. Speaking during the committee stage debate, Tory former minister David Davis said the US and Canada have “specific limits” on the crimes their agents can commit. Mr Davis, who rebelled to support Labour’s amendment, told the Commons: “The trouble is, others do it better. America and Canada learnt the hard way that we need to include specific limits in the crimes that agents can commit. “In these countries, both informants and their handlers were involved in carrying out numerous cases of racketeering and murder and they were found out, and since, both countries have set clear limits.” He had proposed his own amendments to give the intelligence services the protections they need but stop short of giving them “carte blanche authorisation to carry out the heinous crimes in the name of the state that have happened too often in the past”. Labour former leader Jeremy Corbyn warned it was “an absolute travesty of parliamentary accountability” for the Bill to be rushed through the Commons, with consideration of amendments squeezed into a three-hour debate. He told MPs: “What has come out from those of us who have good friends in environmental groups, in human rights groups, in trade unions and many other campaigns is the sheer arrogance of police undercover operations that have infiltrated wholly legitimate and legal operations in order to disrupt them, spread negative information and cause problems for them. “If we live in a free and democratic society, obviously criminality is not acceptable, obviously policing is required to deal with criminality, but you don’t deal with criminality by authorising criminality through undercover policing operations into those groups.” Labour’s Dan Carden, who resigned from the Opposition front bench on Thursday morning over the Bill, warned the powers in the legislation “can be misused”.

During their time in Ireland was when the Catholic and Protestants were butting heads with each other and the country teetered on the brink of all out civil war. Bruce and his group were assigned to pick up Catholic men that were caught trying to cross the border from Southern Ireland to the Northern, take them to an area in the woods, and kill the captured man with a single shot to the head. For all they knew, those men could honestly be innocent. But as time progressed, their assignments became even more unbearable (I’ll let you read it), and finally they all wanted to get out of the army. Bruce spares no expense in the telling of the nightmares, alcoholism, and fear that followed him around for years after his tour in Ireland.

Speaking after paying tribute to his daughter at the public inquiry being held into the atrocity, Mr Roussos said: “We have been waiting for over three years for this to start. “It’s horrible waiting to find out the answers that you need because there were so many wrongs. Speaking at the public inquiry, Mr Roussos said Saffie’s life was ‘not a practice exercise for the security services or the emergency services’. He said the ‘biggest lesson and wake-up call should have come from 7/7 and 9/11’ – the terror attacks in London and New York. Mr Roussos said that if lessons were still being learned in 2020, ‘nothing will ever change’. “What we are all going through, the failures we are all listening to and the excuses we will all sit through, needs to stop,” he told the inquiry. “At present, in 2020, if we are still learning lessons, then nothing will ever change. Speaking on Emma Britton’s BBC Radio Bristol breakfast show today (Tuesday, October 13), Mr Rees said there had been an “absence of conversation with local leaders” from Whitehall. The mayor said: “When action first started on Covid, announcements were being made and we were watching the news to find out what the latest government position was along with everyone else and then trying to work out overnight the local authority’s position. “It is no way to run a crisis like this. “So while I have some sympathy for government in that this is a very wicked situation, I can’t help but also think we could have been on a much stronger route if we’d led the country at the front end much more joined up with local government.” He said the direction from ministers felt vague, adding: “We would like that control. “I wrote to government last week pointing out some of our concerns about the 10pm hard curfew saying it’s not working, it’s increasing risk. “In that letter I asked them to give us a lot more local autonomy, which is not just about Bristol City Council but about us working in Bristol with our universities, the police, all talking about how we manage our city, so it’s the collection of organisations. “We would like the autonomy to be local. “Our number of 90 (per 100,000 people) just three weeks ago would have been horrific, it would have been a horror story.

While more research will undoubtedly turn up more evidence, the pattern of NATO or Anglo-American active measures against key Russian periphery countries or against strategic Russian economic interests all within the same timespan suggests some kind of coordinated attack. And it so happens that the targets of the attacks fit precisely to the outline of a major US military think tank report. In a 2019 research report to the US Army, the RAND corporation published a set of policy recommendations under the title, “Extending Russia: Competing from Advantageous Ground.” They note that by extending Russia they mean “nonviolent measures that could stress Russia’s military or economy or the regime’s political standing at home and abroad.” All of the above stress points certainly fill that description. More striking is the specific elaboration of possible stress points to “extend Russia,” that is to over-extend her. The report specifically discusses what they call “Geopolitical Measures” to over-extend Russia. These include providing lethal aid to Ukraine; promoting regime change in Belarus; exploiting tensions in the South Caucasus; reduce Russian influence in Central Asia. It also includes proposals to weaken the Russian economy by challenging its gas and oil sectors. Notably, these are the same areas of geopolitical turbulence within Russia’s strategic sphere of influence today. Specifically, on the Caucasus, RAND states, “Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia were part of the Soviet Union, and Russia still maintains significant sway over the region today…” They note that, “Today, Russia recognizes both South Ossetia and Abkhazia as separate countries (one of the few governments to do so) and is committed to their defense…. The United States might also renew efforts to bring Georgia into NATO. Georgia has long sought NATO membership;…” ix Recall the cited remarks of NATO’s Stoltenberg to encourage Georgia joining NATO and demanding Russia give up recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The RAND report also highlights the tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan: ”Russia also plays a key role with Azerbaijan and Armenia, particularly over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh… the United States could push for a closer NATO relationship with Georgia and Azerbaijan, likely leading Russia to strengthen its military presence in South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Armenia, and southern Russia. Alternatively, the United States could try to induce Armenia to break with Russia.” In relation to current massive protests in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, RAND notes, “Russia is part of two economic ventures related to Central Asia: the EEU and the Belt and Road Initiative.” A pro-NATO regime change could throw a big barrier between Russia and China as well as within its EEU. As to economic pressures, the RAND report cites the possibility of pressuring the EU to abandon the NordStream-2 gas pipeline from Russia direct to Germany. The recent Navalny incident is creating growing pressure within the EU and even Germany to stop NordStream-2 as sanction for the Navalny affair. RAND notes, “In terms of extending Russia economically, the main benefit of creating supply alternatives to Russian gas is that it would lower Russian export revenues. The federal Russian budget is already stressed, leading to planned cuts in defense spending, and lowering gas revenues would stress the budget further.” If we examine the growing pressures on Russia from the examples cited here and compare with the language of the 2019 RAND report it is clear that many of Russia’s current strategic problems are being deliberately engineered and orchestrated from the West, specifically from Washington and London. How Russia deals with this as well as certain future escalation of NATO pressures clearly presents a major geopolitical challenge.

The entire state apparatus as well as inter-governmental organizations are controlled by powerful financial interests. Millions of people are now being tested which contributes to increasing the number of so-called “confirmed” Covid positive cases Worldwide. These statistics are then carefully tabulated. Coronavirus: Health and safety breaches at testing lab – Exclusive: Health and safety watchdog finds ‘material breaches’ in five areas at coronavrius lab handling 40,000 tests a day – Dr Harris, who started working in laboratories dealing with highly infectious diseases in the 1980s, said he quickly became concerned at what he saw when he started work in the lab on 6 July. He described the initial training as “rushed” with no reference to specific issues linked to working in a biosafety level-two lab such as Milton Keynes. He also said there had been a lack of signage, spill kits in case samples were dropped on the floor and there was a lack of knowledge by staff about what to do when this happened. “At the induction I felt I was surrounded by people who didn’t know anything about biosafety or handling infectious pathogens,” he said. “These people don’t realise that they’re in harm’s way. And it’s quite easy and quite straightforward to train them. They’re not and this is what’s deplorable.” He added: “I saw complete overloading of the biosafety cabinets and when you do that the air flow has nowhere to go. “They actually had racks full of tubes plonked right on the front grate and I saw that numerous times. So people were getting no protection whatsoever. I am convinced they were putting themselves at risk of infection but they didn’t know it because they hadn’t been properly trained.” The UK Biocentre said two staff were used to operate the safety cabinets with the second worker witnessing and supporting the scientist using the cabinet. It said staff had three days of mandatory training first. Another former worker at the lab told The Independent: “I immediately began to question some of the most basic practices that were being employed in the labs. It was like we were set up to work on a war-footing with massive enthusiasm for the task but many of the things we could implement from existing industry and lab practice to make things more efficient and safer for the work team were not used.” The insider, who asked not to be named said: “On my shifts I was sitting in front of a biosafety cabinet for hours and each hour was opening 320 sample bags, making repeated actions requiring significant force. There were no rotations between tasks, not enough breaks for this type of work and basic lab practices to avoid injury from this repetitive work did not appear to be a consideration. “We had disposable visitors lab coats with gloves taped to the sleeves with brown parcel tape to reach into cabinets, no plastic sleeves like at other facilities.” In a statement the lab said staff did now have access to both cloth and disposable lab coats and tape was used as an extra safety measure because staff are told to wear two pairs of gloves. Reacting the concerns of the whistleblowers, Professor Deenan Pillay, a professor of virology at University College London, said he believed part of the problem had been an “obsession with outsourcing” by government….
