We have been ready to go live on BCfm’s FM server remotely, awaiting the go-ahead from Pat Hart since 16th March. Initially we were told ‘In the light of government and Ofcom guidance’ Pat Hart’s team decided ‘not to broadcast discussion or political shows’ that ‘might put the FM licence at risk’, because they ‘don’t want the burden of dealing with potential Ofcom complaints’. As it turns out ‘bad health and medical advice’ came from official government decisions and announcements which we were’t able to criticise on FM and thousands are dead unnecessarily. Now we’ve been told a wider ‘reorganisation’ is underway and this show may be allowed to return to FM in November 2020.

Review alleges ‘major fraud’ at Lloyds Bristol unit committed An independent review into the handling of historic fraud allegations against Lloyds Bank has been shown new documents said to allege a “major fraud” may have been committed. Several business owners alleged they have been ruined by the firm’s business support unit based in Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police said it had found no evidence any criminal offences had been committed. But up to 200 alleged victims say their claims were not properly investigated. Last year, Avon and Somerset Police asked Thames Valley Police to conduct a review into allegations made against the financial institution. Thames Valley police and crime commissioner (PCC) Anthony Stansfeld oversaw the successful prosecution of corrupt financiers from HBOS in Reading for a multi-million pound loans scam that destroyed several businesses. Thames Valley Police officers have now interviewed one alleged victim, property investor Kashif Shabir, whose documents were not passed to them by the Avon and Somerset force. Mr Stansfeld has written to the Avon and Somerset crime panel stating the documents “strongly indicated that a major fraud” had been committed against Mr Shabir.

Bank of England governor Bailey, who was chief executive of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) when the fraud was uncovered, and Horta-Osorio, boss of HBOS’s owner Lloyds, are accused of ‘mistreating’ victims and failing to oversee an adequate compensation scheme. Horta-Osorio has also been slapped with a formal complaint from the influential All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Fair Business Banking, which wrote to the FCA regarding his conduct. The HBOS Reading scandal is separate to the crisis that brought HBOS to the brink of collapse in 2008, which is still being investigated by the FCA. Between 2003 and 2007 six bankers and advisers connected to the Reading branch milked millions of pounds from business customers to go on luxury holidays and pay for prostitutes. Lloyds, which bought HBOS in 2008, promised to compensate the near-200 victims who lost their livelihoods. But a review of the compensation process by lawyer Sir Ross Cranston in 2019 found it was not ‘fair or reasonable’. Lloyds set up an ongoing independent panel, chaired by retired judge Sir David Foskett, to review all the victim’s claims. But in a letter sent in December to FCA boss Nikhil Rathi, the APPG’s chairman Kevin Hollinrake said there were ‘similar ongoing denials of responsibility by the bank’ in the new review.

£Billion lockdown loan scheme fraud UK COVID loan scheme could lose £26 billion from fraud, defaults says watchdog – Criminals may have made billions of pounds by exploiting a government loan scheme to help British businesses hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, while large losses are expected from firms unable to repay, the country’s spending watchdog has said. The Bounce Back Loan Scheme was launched in early May, allowing banks quickly to lend businesses up to 50,000 pounds ($64,875) with 100% state guarantee. The National Audit Office (NAO) said on Wednesday that, while the scheme succeeded in providing fast support to small firms, the government faced a potential loss of between 15 and 26 billion pounds from fraud and default, although the estimates were “highly uncertain”. “Unfortunately, the cost to the taxpayer has the potential to be very high, if the estimated losses turn out to be correct,” Gareth Davies, the NAO head said. According to the government’s business department (BEIS) and the British Business Bank, the scheme is expected to lend 38-48 billion pounds by Nov. 4, well in excess of the 18-26 billion originally envisaged, the NAO said. By early September, more than 1.2 million loans had been made at a value of nearly 37 billion pounds, mainly to businesses with a turnover below 632,000 pounds. To speed up the process, the scheme relied on self-certification and no credit checks for existing customers. The NAO said BEIS and the British Business Bank had estimated 35-60% of borrowers might default on their loans, with a third-party review finding there was a very high level of fraud risk through multiple applications and criminals taking money they had no intention of repaying.

The City watchdog, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), brought the test case, with eight insurers agreeing to take part in proceedings. One of the insurers set to make significant payouts is Hiscox, which was challenged by thousands of its policyholders as part of the case. Richard Leedham, who represented the Hiscox Action Group – on behalf of small businesses, said: “This is a landmark victory for a small group of businesses who took on a huge insurance player and have been fully vindicated. “What is important now is that Hiscox accepts the Supreme Court’s verdict and starts paying out to its policy holders, many of whom are in danger of going under”.

Court backlog caused by pandemic Covid and the courts: ‘Grave concerns’ for justice, warn watchdogs Four criminal justice watchdogs for England and Wales have warned they have “grave concerns” about the impact of court backlogs caused by the pandemic. The inspectorates for policing, prisons, probation and prosecutions say issues it has caused could damage the criminal justice system for years. It comes after figures revealed the backlog in the crown courts has reached 54,000 unheard cases. That means some crimes from last year will not go before a jury before 2022. The inspectorates say the unprecedented situation in the courts is having a ripple effect across all of criminal justice. Court work slowed and, in the case of jury trials, stopped during the first part of the pandemic, when the lockdown advised people to stay at home, except for certain circumstances. While it has now crept back up, with social distancing measures in place, the watchdogs warn continuing delays will increase the likelihood of damage to the entire justice system. Justin Russell, the chief inspector of probation, said: “Crown courts deal with the most serious cases, so this backlog concerns us all. The Covid-19 pandemic has meant severe delays and numerous cancellations throughout 2020, and this has had a negative impact on everyone involved. “Delays mean victims must wait longer for cases to be heard. Some will withdraw support for prosecutions because they have lost faith in the process. “Witnesses will find it difficult to recall events that took place many months ago, and prosecutors waste significant periods of time preparing for cases that do not go ahead.”

Everyone who tests positive for coronavirus could soon receive a one-off payment of £500, in a government move to persuade more people to get a test and self-isolate after a positive result. The dramatic plan being considered by ministers follows research that suggested only 17% of people with COVID-19 symptoms come forward to get a test because they fear losing their income if they stop working. The proposal, which would cost the government a massive £453m a week or £2bn a month, is revealed in a leaked 16-page policy document drawn up by Matt Hancock’s Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

Alongside Miss Symonds sits a bare-chested male student with ‘Big Beast’ and ‘Do As Thou Wilt’ daubed across his chest and throat in black ink. Part two – Mar20 Face mask adverts banned for wrongly claiming to prevent coronavirus – Government spreading FAKE NEWS FEAR through lies – Government to discontinue Covid ad accusing joggers or those exercising of being ‘highly likely’ to have the virus. Controversial advert condemned for spreading ‘false information’ and risking ‘scaring’ people into physical inactivity. By Ben Rumsby 21 January 2021 – A Government advert that says joggers and dog-walkers are “highly likely” to have Covid is to be discontinued after the regulator said there was no evidence to support the claim. The Telegraph can reveal that the Cabinet Office has also agreed not to repeat the claim made in the 30-second radio ad – which also warns that “people will die” if individuals “bend the rules” – after being contacted by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). The taxpayer-funded advert was condemned by MPs and public health experts for spreading “false information” and risking “scaring” people into physical inactivity during the third national lockdown. The ASA said it had received complaints and would “assess those carefully to establish whether there are any grounds for further action”. A spokesman said: “We have contacted the Cabinet Office with the concerns that have been raised about its claim, in a radio ad, that it is ‘highly likely’ that individuals such as joggers and dog-walkers have Covid-19. “Our rules require that advertisers hold robust documentary evidence to prove claims that are capable of substantiation. We have received an assurance from the Cabinet Office that the ad will be discontinued by early next week and the claim about individuals being highly likely to have Covid-19 will not be repeated. “On that basis, as the Cabinet Office has worked with us to swiftly address and resolve this matter without the need for formal investigation, we consider the matter closed.” The ASA said it was also assessing complaints about a similar ad about supermarket trolleys, as well as a poster about takeaway coffee headlined “Don’t Let a Coffee Cost Lives”, but had yet to contact the Government about those. According to the most recent official data, one in 50 people in England was estimated to have Covid between December 27 and January 2, rising to one in 30 in London, which would mean individuals are unlikely – rather than highly likely – to have the virus. Under ASA rules, adverts must be “legal, decent, honest and truthful”. The full Government advert says: “Someone jogging, walking their dog or working out in the park is highly likely to have Covid-19. This is a national health emergency. Around one in three people have no symptoms and are spreading it without knowing. So exercise locally. If you’re on your own, you can meet one other person. But keep your distance. Exercise, don’t socialise. And wash your hands the moment you get home. Stop the spread. Stick to the rules. If you bend the rules, people will die. Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives.” Professor Gabriel Scally, the president of epidemiology and public health at the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of Independent Sage, called the ad “appalling”. He said: “The first rule of public health communication is to be truthful. False information undermines trust and respect, often achieving entirely the opposite objective to that intended.” The former sports minister Tracey Crouch also urged the Government to “rethink this advert that seems to blame those exercising for spreading Covid”, saying: “We know that activity, which is allowed under Government guidance, is good for people’s physical and mental well-being, and this ad could end up scaring people not to do [it], storing up health issues for the future.” The Cabinet Office declined to comment, but The Telegraph has been told the ad will cease at the end of the current campaign phase this weekend.

The Met originally claimed that about 400 guests were at the gathering. In a statement, the school said its hall had been leased out. A spokesman for the school, whose principal Rabbi Avrahom Pinter died in April after contracting coronavirus, said “we had no knowledge that the wedding was taking place”. He added: “We are absolutely horrified about last night’s event and condemn it in the strongest possible terms.” Boris Johnson supports the police for “taking action against people who flagrantly and selfishly ignore the rules”, according to the prime minister’s official spokesman. The spokesman said: “Large gatherings such as that pose a health risk, not just to those who attend but those who they live with or others who they may come into contact with.”

WHO reminds IVD users that disease prevalence alters the predictive value of test results; as disease prevalence decreases, the risk of false positive increases (2). This means that the probability that a person who has a positive result (SARS-CoV-2 detected) is truly infected with SARS-CoV-2 decreases as prevalence decreases, irrespective of the claimed specificity. Most PCR assays are indicated as an aid for diagnosis, therefore, health care providers must consider any result in combination with timing of sampling, specimen type, assay specifics, clinical observations, patient history, confirmed status of any contacts, and epidemiological information.

Assaf Kaplan will work in the office of Labour leader Keir Starmer, a source with knowledge of the hire said. Kaplan was in Israeli military intelligence for nearly five years, an officer in Unit 8200, its cyberwarfare branch. Unit 8200 specializes in spying, hacking and encryption. It carries out blackmail, mass surveillance and systematic discrimination against Palestinians. In 2014, a group of whistleblowers detailed how the unit spies on Palestinian civilians living under Israeli military occupation. According to his LinkedIn profile, Kaplan was in the Israeli army’s military intelligence division from May 2009 to November 2013. He was a Unit 8200 intelligence analyst and later an officer.

In January 1926, for one of his regular BBC Radio programmes, Ronald Knox broadcast a pretended live report of revolution sweeping across London entitled Broadcasting from the Barricades. In addition to live reports of persons, including a government minister being lynched, his broadcast cleverly mixed supposed band music from the Savoy Hotel with the hotel’s purported destruction by trench mortars. The Houses of Parliament and the clock tower were also said to have been flattened – Holy terror: BBC, 1926, The First Great Radio Hoax – By Paul Slade – “Unemployed demonstration in London. The crowd has now passed along Whitehall and, at the suggestion of Mr Popplebury, Secretary of the National Movement for Abolishing Theatre Queues, is preparing to demolish the Houses of Parliament with trench mortars. […] The clock tower, 320 feet in height, has just fallen to the ground, together with the famous clock Big Ben, which used to strike the hours on a bell weighing nine tons.” – Ronald Knox, Broadcasting the Barricades, January 16, 1926. “Hundreds of people rang up amazed newspaper offices, asking for details and saying they had heard it from the BBC. In the West of England, rumours were still going round yesterday morning and anxious enquiries were made of the police as to the truth of the report.” – Daily Mirror, January 18, 1926. The first reports came through just after 7:40 on Saturday evening. Listeners to the BBC’s fledgling radio service heard the closing words of a talk on Gray’s Elegy, then a plummy announcer’s voice breaking in with news that an unemployment demonstration in Trafalgar Square had turned violent. The angry demonstrators were already sacking the National Gallery, he said, and they weren’t finished yet. It was January 16, 1926, and many listeners must been half-expecting news like this to break any day. Russia’s 1917 revolution had left Britain’s establishment nervous about proletarian revolt, the First World War had undermined all notions of working class deference and the Labour Party had just adopted Clause IV’s call for common ownership. The first half of the 1920s saw the formation of the British Communist Party, two miners’ strikes paving the way for a General Strike to come, and the election of the country’s first Labour Government. “There were great worries that deference was on the wane,” explains Joanna Bourke, author of Fear: A Cultural History. “And that poor people, the unemployed, were not going to put up with being poor any more.” After a few minutes of live music from the Savoy Hotel’s house band, the announcer broke in again. “The unemployed demonstration,” he began. “The crowd is now pouring through the Admiralty Arch, and is advancing towards the back of the Government buildings in Whitehall in a threatening manner.” (1) The crowd had reached the Houses of Parliament, and was preparing to fire trench mortars There followed some reports of demonstrators throwing empty bottles at the ducks in St James’s Park, and then a shuffling of papers as fresh reports seemed to arrive on the announcer’s desk. “Eh, what’s that?” he asked. “One minute, please. From reports which have just come to hand, it appears that Sir Theophilus Gooch, who was on his way to this station, has been intercepted by the remnants of the crowd still collected in Trafalgar Square, and is being roasted alive. […] He is now being roasted alive by a crowd in Trafalgar Square.” At this, the BBC cut to the Savoy band again. There was another burst of music, and then an announcement that the crowd marching down Whitehall had reached the Houses of Parliament, and were preparing to fire trench mortars at London’s most famous landmark. “The clock tower, 320 feet in height, has just fallen to the ground, together with the famous clock Big Ben,” the announcer told astonished listeners. Worse was to come. “One moment, please. Fresh reports, which have just come to hand, announce that the crowd have secured the person of Mr Wotherspoon, the Minister of Traffic, who was attempting to make his escape in disguise. He has now been hanged from a lamp-post in the Vauxhall Bridge Road.” Once again, the BBC patched listeners through to the Savoy’s band. But this time the music was quickly interrupted by a loud explosion. “Hello everybody,” the announcer cut in. “London calling. The Savoy Hotel has now been blown up by the crowd. That noise which you heard just now was the Savoy Hotel being blown up by the crowd. […] One moment, please. The more unruly members of the crowd are now approaching the British Broadcasting Company’s London station with a threatening demeanour. One moment, please.” As the rioters reached BBC headquarters, accounts of their progress came to a close, replaced by an hour of assorted music. The BBC’s 2LO was then Britain’s only radio station, television was still a decade away, and there would be no newspapers until the following day. All over the country, listeners switched off their sets in a stunned silence and tried to digest the information that the nation’s art treasures had been looted, Parliament flattened, the Savoy Hotel bombed and a Government minister lynched in the street. For many, their first instinct was to telephone whatever authorities they could think of and demand more information.

I was having to dig deeper into my diaphragm to breathe,” said Coun Akhtar. “My breathing went and I started to feel a bit nervous and clammy. I wasn’t sure what was going on. But I tried to ignore it and told myself it would pass.” Feeling uneasy, Coun Akhtar returned home expecting the unpleasant side-effects to soon pass. But his condition rapidly deteriorated. Adverse Reactions To Covid Vaccines – what they are not telling you This blog-post is going to speak for itself in comments from a Facebook Group “Covid-19 Vaccinations, Reactions and Feedback.” The group is very even-handed encouraging comment from those happy to take a vaccine as well as those who have taken a vaccine and had adverse reactions. There is something like a 50/50 balance of comment and it is fair to add that if someone has not had an adverse reaction they are possibly less likely to make a comment. This post is only concentrating on those who have had adverse reactions. Why? Because their stories are not being told in the mainstream. It is legitimate to question the reason for mainstream being so prejudiced in favour of the whole population being vaccinated. With the exception of one the names of people who have made comments have been edited out but all the comments are genuine. They cover the last week or so. First let me share with you the photograph of a screen from a medical computer at a vaccination hospital centre. It is page 11 from 570 pages of logged adverse reactions. Remember this is at one centre and the vaccines have only been administered for little over a month so these are very much short-term reactions. With the above comment I’ve left Andy Pears’ name in because he has a message we should all be listening to and has very bravely taken action to get that message out. Like he says medical personnel who speak out become targets and this blog has covered a few instances including Dr, Mohammad Iqbal Adil and Dr. Pascal Sacre. Those who think the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is safe should read the ingredients below. It can be oncogenic (cancer-forming) derived from chimpanzee adenovirus and the kidneys of live human embryos. Rachel Celler, a forensic nurse, says they are designed to rewrite the human genome. Read the inserts, she advises. Darwin’s grandson Charles Galton Darwin and eugenics – Charles Galton Darwin was director of the National Physical Laboratory during the Second World War and was high-up in the Manhattan Project (one of those super-secret global conspiracies that couldn’t possibly exist because “someone would talk”… well, they didn’t!) We have been ready to go live on BCfm’s FM server remotely, awaiting the go-ahead from Pat Hart since 16th March. Initially we were told ‘In the light of government and Ofcom guidance’ Pat Hart’s team decided ‘not to broadcast discussion or political shows’ that ‘might put the FM licence at risk’, because they ‘don’t want the burden of dealing with potential Ofcom complaints’. As it turns out ‘bad health and medical advice’ came from official government decisions and announcements which we were’t able to criticise on FM and thousands are dead unnecessarily. Now we’ve been told a wider ‘reorganisation’ is underway and this show may be allowed to return to FM in November 2020.

The nine activists facing a potential seven-year jail sentence for alleged unlawful assembly in 2019 include Jimmy Lai, the independently minded newspaper proprietor, and Martin Lee, the so-called father of Hong Kong democracy. Perry has so far refused to comment on why he took the case. If the defendants lose, the courts have already declared that the Hong Kong commissioner of police would have greater powers to restrict freedom of peaceful assembly.

The conflict between West and East. Chris Hedges, on Democracy Now, talking about Big Tech Trump and censorship – the storming of Congress by Trump supporters – staged? CHRIS HEDGES: Well, Twitter, all of these digital platforms are not neutral arbiters. In fact, they’re, of course, for-profit corporations with close ties to the security state. And if you look back over the past few years, they have imposed heavy forms of censorship and interference, primarily on the left, and in particularly on WikiLeaks. So, they blocked the ability for WikiLeaks to accept donations on PayPal and every other platform. Every time WikiLeaks would hold a press conference, there would be interference, electronic interference. People couldn’t get in the room. They’ve used algorithms. And then we saw, again, their very partisan activity during the campaign when they locked the New York Post out of its own Twitter account because it had published stories about the revelations found on the discarded or abandoned laptop from Hunter Biden, which, in retrospect, have proven quite serious. Glenn Greenwald took a very heroic stance on this, and The Intercept wouldn’t publish his story. So, to allow these opaque ­ and remember, these companies know everything about us; we know nothing about them. To allow these companies to essentially function as de facto platforms for censorship and manipulation ­ I’m not in any way minimizing what happened last week ­ harkens back to the way civil liberties were eviscerated in the wake of 9/11 ­ the PATIOT Act, which the great civil rights attorney Michael Ratner called a coup d’état, the 2002 Authorization to Use Military Force Act. So, responding to a crisis ­ and I think we do live in a crisis. I have written about this right-wing, nativist fascist. My book, American Fascist, came out in 2006, so I’m very cognizant of the very real threat that we face. But to respond by, in essence, empowering these private corporations to function as censors over billions of people will come back to haunt us. And we see that, because it’s not just Trump they target. It’s always, in the end, the left that pays for this kind of censorship.

Charlie Mullins, head of Pimlico Plumbers, says no vaccine no job to his employees. A large London plumbing firm plans to rewrite all of its workers’ contracts to require them to be vaccinated against coronavirus. Pimlico Plumbers chairman Charlie Mullins said it was “a no-brainer” that workers should get the jab. If they do not want to comply with the policy, it will be decided on a case-by-case basis whether they are kept on, he said. Employment lawyers said the plan carried risks for the business. The NHS is seeking to vaccinate 15 million people from priority groups by mid-February as part of efforts to try to control the spread of Covid-19. But Mr Mullins said he was prepared to pay for private immunisations for people at the firm, should they become available, which would be done on the company’s time. Doctors have warned that key hospital services in England are in crisis, with reports of hospitals cancelling urgent operations after a surge in Covid patients in recent weeks.

Negative interest rates explored by Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee. QE since 2008 unprecedented. Cutting the UK’s official interest rate below zero would be good for growth and could be done without crippling commercial banks, a Bank of England policymaker has said. Silvana Tenreyro, one of the nine members of Threadneedle Street’s monetary policy committee, said negative rates had worked in other countries and would assist the UK’s recovery from its Covid-19 slump. In an online speech to the University of the West of England, Tenreyro rejected the argument that the profitability of banks would be adversely affected if the Bank cut the official cost of borrowing – bank rate – from a record low of 0.1% to below zero. The Bank is looking at the technical feasibility of negative rates for Britain’s financial system, and is expected to publish its views on this after next month’s policy meeting.

Al-Muhandis was the deputy leader of the state-sanctioned Popular Mobilization Forces, an umbrella group composed of an array of militias, including Iran-backed groups, formed to fight the Islamic State group.

Lawyer For Leonardo Contractor Who Witnessed U.S. Election Interference Operation In Italy Recounts Affidavit Via Video January 9, 2021 Mike Dakkak Professor Alfio D’Urso, the lawyer for the man who claims to have witnessed the operation to interfere with the U.S. election in Italy on election night, has released a video detailing his sworn affidavit. That written affidavit was reportedly delivered to members of the U.S. Congress on Wednesday. Remarkably, the vote to certify the 2020 election results – even though evidence may exist that those results are fraudulent – went forward. D’Urso’s client, a man by the name of Arturo D’Elia, claims to have taken part in an operation in which operatives from various intelligence agencies remotely manipulated votes from several locations in Italy, including the U.S. Embassy in Rome, and used military satellites owned and operated by Italian defense contractor Leonardo SpA to do it. The revelations are being brought to light with the help of Maria Zack, Chairwoman of NationsInAction.org, a government accountability advocacy group based in Florida. Zack reportedly has received intercepts, photos and records of phone calls from the Italian intelligence service which is helping to bring the allegations to light. D’Elia says he is willing to testify to all individuals and entities who participated in the scheme, which allegedly involved the switching of votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden on election night. Significantly, D’Elia says he has made data backups of the original data and the data after the switches the operatives were instructed to make, and is willing to provide that evidence in court. Requests for comment from various members of Congress, including Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer have so far gone unanswered.

But Marvin Rees has defended the ruling Labour group’s handling of Bristol Energy, blaming the company’s failure on the previous administration and other factors such as the coronavirus pandemic.he political row erupted after new financial figures revealed Bristol Energy posted official losses totalling £49.4million in the six years before the council finally admitted defeat and sold it. The firm’s final annual report released on Sunday (January 10) showed it lost £14.8million in 2019/20. That followed escalating losses each year since it was set up, of £2.9million in 2015/16, £8.4million in 2016/17, £11.2million in 2017/18 and £12.1million in 2018/19, records on Companies House show. Bristol Energy was set up by Bristol City Council’s then cross-party cabinet in 2015, under former Bristol mayor George Ferguson, to provide affordable gas and electricity for residents while returning a profit for the local authority. The Labour administration took office a year later and in 2019 agreed to increase the council’s investment in the energy firm to a maximum of £37.7million and set aside an extra £7.3million in risk reserves. This means the council, which has ploughed an estimated £37million of taxpayers’ money into the failed venture so far, could potentially spend up to another £8million before it finally rids itself of the financial millstone and receives the £15.3million it has been promised by the company’s buyers. Bristol’s Liberal Democrat, Conservative and Green councillors have been sounding warnings about continued council investment in Bristol Energy for a number of years. Now they have roundly condemned the city mayor and his Labour cabinet for the “disaster”, with Tory group leader Mark Weston accusing them of “unparallelled” financial mismanagement and Lib Dem member Tim Kent calling for the mayor to apologise and resign. …… Cllr Kent told the Local Democracy Reporting Service he expected the total loss to council taxpayers would run to more than £50million once all the costs came to light. “It is time Bristol mayor @MarvinJRees came clean on the disaster of Bristol Energy. It is time he revealed the true full cost. It is time he apologised,” Mr Kent tweeted yesterday (January 11). “It is truly unbelievable that mayor Rees, who has lost tens of millions of taxpayers’ money, is still to apologise,” he said later. “We still do not know the truth of how this has occurred nor the total cost. “It is clear the mayor should resign.”

Music by Sirplus, Mayor Marvin Rees’s half brother Martin Walker, who attempted suicide in May 2020, six weeks after the Covid lockdown was imposed, and died in November.  In memory of Sirplus – Martin L Walker Sadly on Monday 30th November 2020, our beautiful soul, Martin Walker, aka Sirplus, unexpectedly passed away in the company of family. Our lives were shattered on 29th May 2019 and turned upside down when we learned that Martin had attempted suicide and suffered hypoxic brain injury. He made a decision for himself that broke our hearts. The 18 months until now has been a rollercoaster of devastation, pain and hope for us all. Whilst he became wakeful and was able to breathe on his own and we continued to pray for a miracle, he battled through a number of infections and subsequent medical conditions and was later very sadly determined clinically unresponsive and in a permanent vegetative state. We are all left heartbroken with the loss, however may we find some comfort that Martin is now at peace and will be laid to rest on Monday 21st December 2020.

C19 and Induced Insanity in the UK, the Global Lab Rat There were several events typical of predictive programming. The WEF October 21stmeeting and the Great Reset was one (1). Here in Britain the orchestration of central, NHS and local responses to a respiratory disease suggested that plans were laid before the Wuhan outbreak was announced on the 12thof December 2019. For instance, the title of a most complex and lengthy bill nodded through in 48 hours in the Mother of Parliaments, was ‘The 2019/2020 Coronavirus Bill’. This would have required drafting lawyers and committees of MPs to crawl over this miscarriage for at least a month or so pre-Wuhan. The author spoke of an apocalyptic atmosphere being engendered by the ‘hype’ attached to this recent addition to the ubiqitous corona virus family, first characterised in the 1960s. That it was probably ‘engineered’ ie not of natural origin by mutation, might have been an excuse for more fear than logic determined. There was a feeling of ‘End Times’ under a blackening sky; an inevitable spiral into the failure of systems with increased suffering and loss, especially for that large majority world wide who live hand to mouth. The author feared, and still does, that under the vast and masked distraction, and without the possibility of publics gathering in protest, a long planned attack on Iran was in those many psychopathic minds. (2) The latter are the zealots for destruction of other humans calling a nuclear weapon ‘tactical’. The strategy has been to scare a large majority out of their remaining wits, and to keep repeating the big lie – that Covid_19 (C19) is very infectious and likely lethal. Every body set up to drive the policies, and there are hundreds, has been corrupt. The Chief Scientific Adviser, Vallance – previously of Pfizer, allegedly still owning £600,000 of shares in this firm with a criminal history in the USA, is one glaring example. And Professor Whitty, the Chief Medical Officer, is based at the London School of Medicine and Tropical Hygiene, which is said to receive large donations from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The corruption and mendacity is vast in scale, but ‘they’ press on without any accountability and ‘laugh in the faces’ of those who know. The gullibility is extraordinary in most, and obedience almost complete. Nine months from the start at least half the shoppers in the local country towns are masked as they move about or queue observing anti-social distancing. Some ride cycles in brisk winter weather with faces muzzled. Attempts to tell the wearers that they will have varieties of bacteria and viruses in the culture medium within the gauze are met with blank eyes. That some species in the masks which are fingered constantly, tucked into pockets and removed for every encounter, are probably pathogenic, evinces no reaction. The Behavioural Insights Team (3) will be measuring compliance via the masks as seen in CCTV footage at supermarkets, petrol stations etc. With the same title exactly in the US, these psychologists of the mass mind will know how the mask has many benefits for control of the polity. De-personalization, submission, stifling of speech, and anonymity are some of the gains as perceived in the fascist mind. Fascism – the author’s definition – the subjugation of the individual’s will and freedom by an overweening state. Humanity withers, freedom of speech is stifled and the soul dies. Self preservation becomes a dominant drive. The suffering is largely silent, and the complacent middle classes spend time ordering their food on line for home delivery. The print and broadcast media is in lock step, the main message being that there are many thousands of ‘cases’ or ‘infections’ each day – conflating the many positive RT-PCR ‘tests’ (4) with disease. Many are oblivious to this obvious lie. Their ductility is ensured by their lack of logic, inquiry and a desert of information. ‘Funny’ money dished out, pacifies the many and memories are in milliseconds. That ‘austerity’ was enforced after the exchequer baled out the banks with an amount equal to five years worth of NHS spending – £540 billion, in 2008 is not remembered, and the consequences of a record National Debt now does not hit home. The current situation in this ‘demi-paradise’ is of accelarating fear and ever closer surveillance and control. This is the BBC ‘news’ today (5). “Covid-19: Concern at ‘unprecedented’ infection level in England”. ‘The mutant strain of C19 is very ‘infectious’ and the ambulance service and the receiving hospitals are being overwhelmed.’ There is no let up in the lying; the evil of it tends to overwhelm the conscientious. Locally, in Devon, are these things true? a. Is there a bounty to some health authority if C19 is on the death certificate – as was the case in the US? b. Did the relative dying of a ruptured aneurysm in hospital have C19 put on his death certificate? c. There was an accident on the coastal road in Torbay. A car rolled over and the road was closed, It was said the driver had just driven away from the English Riviera Centre where a C19 ‘vaccine’ had been injected. What are the facts? But all is not lost. At present it can be said that if the British were in 1939, what the morasse is like now, Hitler would have walked straight in. But there are many who see through the propagandare nero,and as poverty bites, the trampled will resist more and a revolution of the mind will restore the freedoms and the common sense. Dr Stephen Malthouse in Canada, says there was no pandemic – also how animal and children studies of mRNA vaccines showed they were deadly. Well, you have to differentiate COVID cases, which are people that have positive PCR tests, and those could be completely healthy people without any symptoms. And the majority of them are like that. Those would be determined to be cases. Now, normally in medicine a case is someone who’s actually sick. Now, these aren’t sick people. And then when you look at hospitalizations and death and also ICU admissions, we see that there’s been no change in the last year than what we’ve seen in previous years. So looking at all cause mortality is the most important measurement. And the reason behind that is because the COVID diagnosis is based on a PCR test. This is where they take a swab from your nose, and then they amplify it multiple times. Normally you would amplify that 25, maybe 30 times at the maximum. It’s a bit like taking a Xerox and then re-Xeroxing the Xerox then re-Xeroxing the Xerox and then re-Xeroxing the Xerox in attempt to actually identify and match up RNA, which is taken from that swab with the RNA from coronavirus.

Helen Wildbore, from Relatives and Residents Association for care homes, www.relres.org, discusses why relatives are not being allowed meaningful visits. Plandemic and agenda behind Covid 19. R&RA’s director has called on Parliament to take action to ensure essential visitors are granted safe access to care homes to protect the rights of older people. Giving evidence to the Joint Committee on Human Rights, Helen Wildbore said: “In month eleven of visiting restrictions in care homes across England, our helpline continues to hear of the devastating impact isolation is having on residents, putting their human rights at risk. Many families feel bereft and abandoned, that the systems in place to protect and safeguard rights have let them down. Too many of our helpline callers are afraid to speak out and use their legal rights for fear of reprisals, including eviction. We need to address that power imbalance.” “As cases rise across England, protecting care users and staff from the virus is of upmost importance, but almost a year of isolation has created another risk to the well-being of older people living in care. Care homes need to manage both the risk to well-being from isolation and the risk posed by the virus via individual assessments. Essential visitors – providing crucial practical or emotional support – need to be granted access, to ensure residents rights are respected. Such visitors should be subject to the same safety precautions as staff (testing, appropriate PPE, access to vaccines) so they are seen as a vital part of the care team.” The Committee heard how the rights of older people in care are risk, including: right to family life: with life-long partnerships separated, parents alienated from children and people afraid they won’t meet their grandchildren before passing away right to well-being: with increased mental distress and confusion, and too many passing away without the love and support of their families right to be free from degrading treatment: where people have stopped eating/drinking/taking medication and have ‘lost the will to live’, this may cross the threshold to be degrading treatment right to liberty: for residents told, throughout the pandemic, they are not able to leave their care home Almost a year into visiting restrictions, time is of the essence. Urgent action is needed to end the human rights crisis in care.

We have been ready to go live on BCfm’s FM server remotely, awaiting the go-ahead from Pat Hart since 16th March. Initially we were told ‘In the light of government and Ofcom guidance’ Pat Hart’s team decided ‘not to broadcast discussion or political shows’ that ‘might put the FM licence at risk’, because they ‘don’t want the burden of dealing with potential Ofcom complaints’. As it turns out ‘bad health and medical advice’ came from official government decisions and announcements which we were’t able to criticise on FM and thousands are dead unnecessarily. Now we’ve been told a wider ‘reorganisation’ is underway and this show may be allowed to return to FM in November 2020.

Pandemic is a bonanza for organised crime. Experimenting with viruses in labs. Over the past few decades, scientists have developed ingenious methods of evolutionary acceleration and recombination, and they’ve learned how to trick viruses, coronaviruses in particular, those spiky hairballs of protein we now know so well, into moving quickly from one species of animal to another or from one type of cell culture to another. They’ve made machines that mix and mingle the viral code for bat diseases with the code for human diseases — diseases like SARS, severe acute respiratory syndrome, for example, which arose in China in 2003,While the first documented case of SARS was in November 2002, it became a pandemic in 2003, and the WHO issued its first alert about the virus in March of that year. and MERS, Middle East respiratory syndrome, which broke out a decade later and has to do with bats and camels. Some of the experiments — “gain of function” experiments — aimed to create new, more virulent, or more infectious strains of diseases in an effort to predict and therefore defend against threats that might conceivably arise in nature. The term gain of function is itself a euphemism; the Obama White House more accurately described this work as “experiments that may be reasonably anticipated to confer attributes to influenza, MERS, or SARS viruses such that the virus would have enhanced pathogenicity and/or transmissibility in mammals via the respiratory route.” The virologists who carried out these experiments have accomplished amazing feats of genetic transmutation, no question, and there have been very few publicized accidents over the years. But there have been some.

Dilyana broke the story of a CIA-run international arms smuggling ring that was using diplomatic protection to deliver weapons to ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria. – Dilyana: The main organizer of this criminal scheme was the Pentagon and the CIA and I have documents proving this involvement and also Saudi Arabia. Let’s not forget the involvement of Saudi Arabia. Actually Balkan states such as Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Croatia, the Czech Republic. They sold weapons to the US Special Operations Command and covert program of the Pentagon and the CIA and these weapons were transported to different war zones on diplomatic flights provided by the Azeri state run company Silkway Airlines. So you can see how many have been involved in this international weapons shipments to terrorists in Syria. Unfortunately so far we have nobody held to account because the result is appalling. More than 500,000 people in Syria have already been killed by the very same weapons. Everybody talks about how disgusting this war is. Everybody says “We are against terrorism” but actually they have been secretly facilitating this terrorist zone because if the terrorists had not had these weapons they could not have established their caliphate and not have killed so many people in Syria as well as other places. I have documents on 360 diplomatic flights with weapons to Syria and Yemen and Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Congo and Qatar who also sells around the world. And all these flights were performed in the last three years. Actually I’m talking about weapons supplies since 2015. This is what I have documented.

AIER – asymptomatic spread reconsidered – On June 7, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of the WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, told a press conference that from the known research, asymptomatic spread was “very rare.” “From the data we have, it still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual.” She added for emphasis: “It’s very rare.” – The fog of disease mitigation, indeed. But as with most of the “science” throughout this ordeal, it eventually came to be revealed that good sense and rationality would prevail over implausible claims and predictions that led to experiments in social control without any precedent. In this case, the carrier of rationality is a gigantic study conducted in Wuhan, China, of 10 million people. The article appears in Nature Communications, published November 20, 2020. – The conclusion is not that asymptomatic spread is rare or that the science is uncertain. The study revealed something that hardly ever happens in these kinds of studies. There was not one documented case. Forget rare. Forget even Fauci’s previous suggestion that asymptomatic transmission exists but not does drive the spread. Replace all that with: never. At least not in this study for 10,000,000.

Acute NHS hospital consultant David Oliver considers how the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed structural healthcare problems caused by years of neglect and underfunding In my 31 years as an NHS hospital doctor, 2020 stands out as a year that structural health issues have been more widely understood than ever before. The Coronavirus pandemic has exposed the endemic problems our health and social care services have faced for years, many of which were hiding in plain sight. This includes the relentless and growing pressure on a shrinking and short-staffed hospital bed base, which the pandemic has made even more difficult to manage. As a medic working on acute wards looking after hundreds of sick COVID-19 patients, these are my experiences. Firstly, it’s worth pointing out that the concerted diatribe in select news outlets – suggesting that bed shortages are no big deal and do not require us to reduce viral transmission – are misleading, unhelpful and range from ill-informed to what seems like deliberate misinformation. I understand that people are upset that Christmas has been ruined for many. I understand the serious and legitimate public concerns about the Government’s inept, passive response to the pandemic, and about the harms to wellbeing, the economy and general freedom because of repeated lockdowns. I know that there are serious concerns about the trade-offs between acute care for patients with COVID-19 and planned care for other groups with conditions such as cancer.

The writing style reminds me a little of the book ‘Sophie’s World’ by Jostein Gaarder in it’s story-telling style, though the content is essentially quite different. The rather disturbing narrative gradually unfolds and one thing leads (unfortunately) logically on to the next. It is very readable and very thought provoking. A study in ‘power politics’. The title is a bit ‘in your face’, nonetheless, it should be compulsory reading for any student of politics, especially Middle-Eastern politics and it’s interaction with ‘the West’ since the Second World War. Greg Felton shows how, sometimes as much by chance as by any predetermined grand plan, the jewish lobby in the USA have come to wield a very, very disproportionate influence. It makes sense of a situation that quite often really doesn’t seem to make sense and goes a long way toward explaining why and how it endures. One thing is certain, the state of Israel was established in Palestine in 1948 by an almost exclusively first or second generation immigrant jewish force. It was created by stealing Palestine from the indigenous arabs and ethnically cleansing the inhabitants. That may be an uncomfortable fact for some people to swallow. It is a fact nonetheless. It is very good to see books like this coming out more and more nowadays because the pro-Israeli lobby have had it all their own way for far too long. The Palestinians feel ‘abandoned by the world’ and understandably so. Ultimately we must ALL make a world that is worth living in, not just for us, but for our children and our children’s children. You may not agree with everything Greg Felton says [he’s certainly done his homework !!] he makes some very interesting points and it certainly all hangs together. The annexation of Palestine and the carnage that went with it against a largely defenceless, peasant population in 1948 under the pretext that ‘God gave Palestine to the jewish people’ some 2500 years previously, was a ‘Crime against Humanity’, and it is time it was recognised as such. Not because we want to ‘have a go at the jews’, but because Palestinians are people too and criminal behaviour against them is just as much of a crime as criminal behaviour against any other group, including the jews. It is time the intellectually insulting version of events in Palestine given by films like ‘Exodus’ were confined to the rubbish bin of history. Israel is not a victim in the Middle East, the formation of Israel in 1948 precipitated, caused and continues to cause, the problems we have in the Middle East today. 

Climate Change blacklisting: Points of view outside of consensus – the Overton window. How Academic ‘Blacklists’ Impede Serious Work On Climate Science Roger Pielke Contributor A climate advocacy group called Skeptical Science hosts a list of academics that it has labeled “climate misinformers.” The list includes 17 academics and is intended as a blacklist. We know of this intent because one of the principals of Skeptical Science, a blogger named Dana Nuccitelli, said so last Friday, writing of one academic on their list, “if you look at the statements we cataloged and debunked on her [Skeptical Science] page, it should make her unhirable in academia.” That so-called “unhirable” academic is Professor Judy Curry, formerly the chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech, and a Fellow of both the American Geophysical Union and American Meteorological Society. By any conventional academic metric, Curry has compiled an impressive record over many decades. The idea that she would be unhirable would seem laughable. But there is nothing funny about Skeptical Science. Today, Curry should be a senior statesperson in the atmospheric sciences community. Instead, she is out of academia. She attributes that, at least in part, to being placed on the Skeptical Science blacklist and its use, as expressed by Nuccitelli, to make her “unhirable.” I asked Professor Curry about this situation. She explained, “In 2012 I was informed by my Dean that the administration wanted me to step down as Chair. While there were several reasons for this, one obvious reason was extreme displeasure by several activist climate scientists who had a very direct pipeline to the Dean.”

Ed, former Jehovah Witness elder, discusses his experience of the group. If you have never been part of the Jehovah’s Witnesses religion, I am not sure what this book would mean to you. If you are interested in the subject of thought control, or institutional evil, then you may get something out of this. But if you have been a member of this religion, then this book will resonate from your teeth to your toes. To be a Witness is to give up much of your creativity, your ability to express yourself freely, and the sum of your critical thinking. Above all, being a Witness is intensely, oppressively dull. To get a taste of just how anti-intellectual it is, check out this spot-on animation of what a Sunday with the Witnesses is like. This is no exaggeration, this is pretty much exactly how it is. From the stage, they read the words to you, they read the question to you, and then you read back the answer. They call it “study” but it is unsatisfying and painful beyond belief, not like any other studying I have ever done. The Witnesses I have known over the years are for the most part nice and well-intentioned people, but since their actions are controlled by the Organization they can be very cruel and small minded. Take away the Organization and they are great people. This book shows how the Jehovah’s Witnesses transformed themselves from a highly imaginative and little bit loopy religion in the 1800’s, who believed the pyramids were built by God, into an intensely sad and crushing legalistic religion that spends more time creating new rules and counting service hours than it does providing spiritual support to its members. The source of the problem, just like communism and other authoritarian states, is the centralized government of this religion. A dozen incompetent men name themselves the “Governing Body”, also known as the “Faithful and Discrete Slave”, and they call all of the shots. If anyone else forms any opinion that person is excommunicated. If one studies the Bible on their own, they are excommunicated and excommunication in this religion is particularly painful, since you will lose contact with your Mother or child – complete loss of contact. They call it “disfellowshipping”. The Governing Body and the preceding two Presidents of the “Watchtower, Bible, and Tract Society” are responsible for the 100% prophecy failure rate of the last 100 years and the bizarre and ever changing rules – no beards, no college, no oral sex with your spouse, and no masquerade parties. What is grounds for disfellowshipping this year may not be next year and as they change the rules they never ever admit fault, but sometimes they blame the members for misunderstanding the old rules. Raymond Franz, the author, was one of the insiders, a member of the Governing Body who ended up getting disfellowshipped himself. He exposes the inner workings of the power center of this religion and shows how decent people on the Governing Body can get out of touch with the people they rule and how they can get caught up in the corruption of their jobs, especially when they feel that God is talking to them directly. For the average Witness, they have absolutely no idea how the religion is run and just assume that God is directing everything. These rules have led to enough people dying either from medical restrictions or from being forced to piss-off a murderous dictator, when you could have just bought a political party card instead for a buck. I am grateful that Franz wrote this book, but I do not pity that he lost all that he worked for over 40 years. He was part of this group and he was complicit in decisions that hurt many, many people. Maybe he wised up in the end, but I am not overwhelmed with his conversion. He still comes across as morally smug and condescending, although he tries mightily to come off as humble – a trick that I have seen over and over with the Witnesses. Still, I respect him for writing this powerful source of information where before there was only mist and shadow. Ultimately, the Governing Body has three weapons to protect its power: enough money to sue anyone who speaks out, total information control over its members, and disfellowshipping. As the internet has grown, the Witnesses have lost total control over information. They are desperately trying to keep their members off the internet, where reviews like this can written, but they will not succeed at this war. With fewer members they will eventually have less money to sue. But the last weapon, disfellowshipping, is still incredibly powerful. It will stay potent even as they shrink, and that is why they are turning to it more and more.
