Part One – Local and National News Review
George Ferguson, architect and former Mayor of Bristol, joins Tony and Martin. Temple Island housing plan under Mayor Marvin Rees – post Arena plan. How big housing developers always get their way, and money talks, leading to taller buildings, smaller flats, and no social housing. The rise in purpose built student flats. Ex-Bristol mayor demands jail time over ‘appalling’ Temple Island deal His plans for a city centre arena were scrapped Former Bristol mayor George Ferguson has demanded jail time for whoever agreed to an ‘appalling deal’ over the proposed Temple Island redevelopment. As reported this week, the local authority is set to approve a much worse agreement with developers Legal & General than the one it signed in 2022. Land values have plummeted since then while construction costs have soared, which means L&G says it can no longer provide 40 per cent of the 520 homes as affordable as originally promised, with this being halved to 20 per cent. And in a cruel double whammy for the council, demand for top-notch office space in the city centre – a key part of the regeneration of the former rail diesel depot in towers up to 19 storeys – has rocketed, which means the previous deal for the authority to guarantee office rent of about £2million a year to the financial company for 40 years is no longer viable and has to be increased. Reposting the story by BristolLive on X, formerly Twitter, ex-mayor George Ferguson has taken no prisoners, while demanding there should be someone sent behind bars. In response, Bristol City Council leader Cllr Tony Dyer says the authority has taken a pragmatic approach to ensure affordable housing will still be provided, along with other public benefits. Mr Ferguson posted: “Someone should go to prison for this appalling deal – a criminal waste of public land and money. “We acquired Arena Island for the Bristol region’s benefit – not for a hastily stitched-up deal in aid of misplaced political ambition. “Local politics at its very worst..” Under the former independent mayor in 2014, the council approved a city centre arena on land then known as Arena Island. Mr Ferguson has championed the location for the venue since then and said he regretted not having signed the contract for the development before his successor, Labour ’s Marvin Rees, canned it in 2018 and moved the arena to the Brabazon hangars at the former Filton Airfield on the edge of the city. Cllr Dyer (Green, Southville) said: “For far too long, areas of our city have been allowed to remain derelict and unproductive whilst the number of families in temporary accommodation or in unsuitable housing has continued to increase. “At the same time, a significant proportion of our population are unable to find employment opportunities. “The Temple Island site is the latest long-derelict brownfield site being brought forward for productive use. “The derelict buildings around St Mary le Port are finally being demolished after decades of blighting the centre of our city. “Canon’s House on the Harbourside is being refurbished and brought back into use. “We are delivering record numbers of affordable housing on derelict brownfield sites across Bristol. “The simple fact is that the opportunity to bring forward an arena on this site has been missed, and economic conditions have dramatically changed since the original contract for the site was agreed by the previous mayor. “Increases in building costs and new safety regulations have meant that developments that were previously agreed have become unviable, not just in Bristol but across the country. “We have taken a pragmatic approach to ensure delivery of affordable homes on Temple Island, homes that will dramatically improve the quality of life for those who move into them. “The agreement will also ensure other benefits are realised – 520 homes including 100 affordable homes, office and community space and a large public realm package. “But this is part of a much wider political discussion about affordable housing. “Since the Government stopped building council housing at scale, we have relied on the private market to deliver safe and affordable homes that people desperately need. “I look forward to working with the new Prime Minister on his promise to build council housing at scale, so that we are no longer so reliant on developers delivering affordable homes.”
Israeli company behind new Bear Pit high rise – Joe Banks article front page of Middle East Eye. Gulf capital, Israel and the Kushner family These networks are part of a wider web of investment, diplomacy and political connections centred on Israel and the Middle East. Cain and Menora Menora Mivtachim, both of which did not respond to MEE’s questions, are part of this. So too is the Kushner family real estate empire. In 2017, shortly before Jared Kushner’s first official visit to Israel as his father-in-law Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, Kushner Companies received a $30m investment from Menora Mivtachim. Kushner had stepped down as chief executive to take up his new diplomatic role but retained substantial ownership interests in the family business. His father, the once-convicted felon Charles Kushner, who was pardoned by Trump and then appointed as US ambassador to France, was so close to Benjamin Netanyahu that the rising Likud politician would stay at the Kushner family home during visits to the US, with the young Jared reportedly giving up his own bedroom for Netanyahu. Earlier this year, Cain announced their own joint venture with Kushner Companies to finance high-end residential and mixed-use developments in South Florida. The partnership links Cain to a family that has played a significant role in efforts to reshape economic relations between Israel, the Gulf states and the US – and is right now trying to push through a deeply unpopular multi-billion dollar development in Albania. Through the Abraham Accords spearheaded by Jared Kushner, investment has flowed between Israel, the United Arab Emirates – which immediately signed the agreements in 2020 – and western markets. In 2022, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) committed $2bn to Affinity Partners, the private-equity firm established by Jared after he left the White House following Trump’s first term. His stated aim with Affinity Partners was to create an “investment corridor” between Gulf capital and Israeli companies. It is the same ecosystem of Gulf sovereign capital that Cain operates in. In 2022, the firm jointly invested $900m with Saudi Arabia’s PIF into Aman Group, which operates ultra-high-end hotels, resorts and branded residences around the world. And Cain has recently further expanded its Middle Eastern presence. In 2025, it opened an office in Abu Dhabi and formed a partnership with Mubadala Capital, the private-equity and asset-management arm of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund. Together they aim to deploy billions of dollars into luxury real estate. Mubadala has become a major global investor and, following the Abraham Accords, has been an important vehicle for Emirati investment into the Israeli technology sector. The crude logics of speculation and occupation run from the high-rise towers of New York to the desert metropolises of the Gulf, through the Abraham Accords and the “Gaza Riviera” plan, and on to British university cities like Bristol. St James House is due to open for the start of the 2028/29 academic year and will stand as a monument to these flows of financial and political capital that sustain Israel’s expansionist impunity. But whereas the streets of the old mercantile port were far removed from the agonies of the slave ships, today the bland exteriors of high-rise towers cannot obscure the reality of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
Trump speaks in 2001 – on 9/11, ‘bombs’ in buildings? Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth. Bombs in the World Trade Centre: Donald Trump gives his opinion on the 9/11 attack on 9/11 itself: “I happen to think that they had not only a plane but they had bombs that exploded almost simultaneously” There was a hole in the steel and this is steel that was you remember the the width of the windows in the World Trade Center folks I think you you know if you up there they were quite narrow and in between was this heavy steel I said how could a plane even a plane even a 767 or 747 or whatever it might have been how could it possibly go through this steel I happen to think that they had not only a plane but they had bombs that exploded almost simultaneously cuz I just can’t imagine anything being able to go through that wall most buildings are built with the Steelers on the inside around the Elevator Shaft this one was built from the outside which is the strongest structure you can have
Matt Campbell opening 9/11 inquest for his brother Jeff who died in towers. Jimmy Dore and Roger Waters talk UK Inquest for Geoff Campbell 9/11 Death, “Turning the Tide 2026” By International Center for 9/11 Justice Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters, once again on The Jimmy Dore Show, voiced his full-throated emotional and financial support for Matt Campbell’s historic legal effort to secure a new inquest into the death of his brother, Geoff, who was killed in the destruction of the North Tower on September 11, 2001. This week on The Jimmy Dore Show, Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters once again voiced his full-throated support for Matt Campbell’s historic legal effort to secure a new inquest into the death of his brother, Geoff, who was killed in the destruction of the North Tower on September 11, 2001. In the powerful 30-minute interview, Waters passionately urged viewers to support Matt’s UK Supreme Court case, calling it humanity’s best opportunity to uncover the truth about 9/11. He also revealed that he has personally donated $100,000 to the effort, which he described as a fight for justice “on behalf of the whole human race.” Toward the end of the conversation, Waters and Dore looked ahead to Turning the Tide 2026, where both are scheduled to speak live in New York on September 11 and 12, respectively. They both expressed excitement about meeting each other in person. If you haven’t already done so, please consider making a donation to Matt Campbell’s Crowdfunder to help make this landmark legal case possible. Also, stay tuned for some major media appearances, including Piers Morgan, in the next two weeks, that should help bring Matt’s mission closer to its goal!
New Green Council. Politicians too safe, need to be brave to bring change. Extensive expensive consultations. Who is Bristol’s Chief Planner working for? May 19, 2026 Joe Banks It had seemed that the developers wanting to build the tallest ever building in south Bristol were going to have to go back to the drawing board. In January this year, a planning committee of councillors refused a proposal for a 23-storey block of student flats in the Victorian inner-urban district of Bedminster, still largely characterised by low-rise residential terraces and light industrial uses. Members had voted 5-3 against the scheme – a high-density mix of 400 Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) units, 434 Build-to-Rent flats and commercial floorspace. As the council’s procedure dictates, officers were instructed to come back to the following meeting with written-up reasons for refusal. The councillors had refused the planning application on the grounds of over-intensive development and townscape harm, including to the setting of the Grade 1 listed heritage asset St Mary Redcliffe church. There was also the issue of poor design: 55% of rooms do not meet the British Research Establishment’s guidance for sunlight and more than half the proposed units are single-aspect. Other concerns included the over-concentration of student accommodation in the area and a letter from the NHS warning that local GP practices were already operating at or near capacity and would be “unlikely to be able to accommodate the increased demand arising from this development.” But what came back to the following meeting was an officer report that told the committee that they couldn’t, in fact, refuse – not without the developer taking the council to the Planning Inspectorate for an appeal that would be certain to succeed. And the council’s Chief Planner, Simone Wilding, raised the stakes further in the meeting by saying that the council would be likely to lose around £750,000 in appeal costs, plus a further £250,000 through the expense of defending the case. To illustrate the Planning Inspectorate’s supposed willingness to overturn refusals based on over-densification, the attention of councillors was repeatedly drawn to a development in Brighton that had a refusal overturned at appeal last year. In the initial committee meeting, when Wilding brought up ‘Brighton Gasworks’ – a mixed-use residential scheme with buildings ranging from 3 to 12 storeys – she made the false claim that it was “a much higher density” than the proposal before them. In reality, the reverse is true: Brighton Gasworks is 245 dwellings per hectare (dph); Princess Street is 384 dph if you don’t include the student tower, 427 dph if you do. Both Princess Street levels exceed the threshold identified in London planning debates as ‘hyperdensity’….
GLC Fares Fare – cheap public transport. Thames News 10Nov81 Bromley Council & GLC Rates Increase THAMES NEWS BROMLEY COUNCIL & GLC RATES INCREASE 1981 Interview Ken Livingstone, Leader of GLC re his shock at Lord Dennings ruling in the Appeal Court in favour of Bromley Council etc. Dave Wetzel, GLC Transport Cumittee Chairman. REPORTERS: JANE CORBIN AND ED BOYLE. Peter Bowness’s neighbour, Dennis Barkway, and Bromley Council’s Tories, thought they might stop the GLC in the courts. Because Fowler had temporarily scuppered GLC plans to include British Rail in Fares Fair, ratepayers in areas with BR rather than underground services, like Bromley, would only be able to take advantage of the resulting reduction of bus fares, not underground. Fare’s Fair is unfair on Bromley, Barkway might have protested. Over lunch in the ‘Bird in Hand’ pub Gravel Road, one Sunday in July 1981 Barkway and the Bromley wreckers first resolved to stop Fares Fair. Barkway received the nod from Council solicitor Richard Pugh and a special committee was set up to mastermind the legal challenge, with cllrs. Fred David, Philip Jones and Simon Randall joining Barkway. Fares Fair was halted in the courts by Bromley council. Some disturbing figures have come to light since. In 1982 car use in London dropped by 10%. An extra £48m fare revenue came in and tube usage went up 44%, bus usage rose by 14%. These were the greatest increases in the 52 year history of London Transport. A survey done by Fieldwork International revealed that 71% of Londoners strongly felt that subsidised public transport benefited London. Even the governments own cost-benefit analysis showed the importance of investing in Public Transport when the full cost to the community was considered. The toll of deaths and injuries on the roads resumes Car CrashIng the following financial year London ratepayers’ contribution to public transport rose 35% from £208m to £281m, though reducing the cost to the public had been Diplock’s purpose in ruling Fares Fair illegal. Predictably ticket prices doubled, and car journeys rocketed, there were an extra 6,000 serious accidents a year on London’s roads and 1253 London Transport jobs were lost. Once Bromley’s Tory Council had helped re-impose crawling transport misery on London, their friends at Westminster sealed Londoners’ fate by dismantling the Greater London Council. Ex-Tory Prime Minister Ted Heath was bitterly opposed to abolition of London’s directly elected body and called it “the greatest piece of gerrymandering for the past 150 years”. Three-quarters of the GLC’s budget was passed to quangos and other non-elected bodies.
Matt Roberts, artist, joins Tony and Martin. His artwork is about the dangers of Palantir. Palantir is being used for NHS data, Home Office, Police and the ICE deportation of illegal immigrants in US. NHS data could be dragged and dropped for immigration uses in UK, for example. What is Palantir???? Palantir is a huge US technology corporation, headquartered in Colorado. It was founded in 2003 by a Silicon Valley billionaire called Peter Thiel, who spent over $1 million to help elect Donald Trump. Thiel is Palantir’s chairman and thought to be its largest shareholder. Six years after founding Palantir, Thiel wrote: “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible.” In 2023, he told Oxford Students’ Union that British affection for the NHS is “Stockholm syndrome”. Originally funded by the CIA, Palantir’s core business has been providing big data and surveillance support to military, security, intelligence and police agencies. Its clients include the US military, the Israeli Defence Forces, the US National Security Agency (NSA), the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, and various US police forces. Palantir has provided support to the Israel Defence Forces during the war in Gaza. During Trump’s first term ICE used Palantir to run workplace deportation raids and seize family members of unaccompanied migrant children. During Trump’s second term, Palantir reportedly became involved in the White House’s mass deportation programme. Palantir was also reportedly contracted by the Department of Homeland Security to build ‘ImmigrationOS’, designed to help ICE identify and select human targets to deport. Mass surveillance by the NSA and GCHQ: Palantir has helped the US and UK’s digital spy agencies (NSA and GCHQ) manage mass surveillance programmes. This was one of the systems exposed by whistleblower Edward Snowden for tracking millions of innocent people’s movements online. Many US police forces also use Palantir for “predictive policing” – widely criticised for unfair targeting black communities. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Palantir had no track record in healthcare. But the NHS, with its global reputation, taxpayer funding, and unusually comprehensive datasets, was a particularly lucrative target. When Covid struck, so did Palantir. An alarming record As you’d expect from a company specialising in security and surveillance, much of Palantir’s work is secret. However, what we do know reveals a pattern of involvement in controversial programmes criticised for abusing poor people, migrants, and minoritised groups: Family separations and migrant deportations: Palantir was a key enabler of Donald Trump’s extreme anti-immigration policies in his first term. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) used Palantir to run workplace deportation raids and seize family members of unaccompanied migrant children. Mass surveillance by the NSA and GCHQ: Palantir has helped the US and UK’s digital spy agencies (NSA and GCHQ) manage mass surveillance programmes like XKEYSCORE. This was one of the systems exposed by whistleblower Edward Snowden for tracking millions of innocent people’s movements online. Racist policing in the US: Many US police forces use Palantir for “predictive policing” – widely criticised for unfair targeting of poor and black communities. In LA, the police used Palantir to build a tool, “LASER”, that claimed it would extract suspected offenders from the community “like a tumor”. Palantir has reportedly supported air strikes in Donald Trump’s war in Iran as well as intelligence assessments, target identification and simulating battle scenarios. Secret Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Palantir provided intelligence software to power the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The exact nature of their involvement remains secret, and the value for money of their services was hotly disputed – Palantir sued the US over it….
Palantir: How a US spy-tech firm with links to Israel’s genocide infiltrated the British state MPs and advocacy groups warn UK government’s £670m worth of contracts with Palantir is an ‘unacceptable point of weakness’ Since 2020, Palantir, the controversial US data surveillance firm with links to Israeli abuses in occupied Palestine, has won over £670m in contracts with British civil and defence industries, raising both ethical and national-security concerns among politicians and campaigners. Chief among those are a £330m contract with the NHS and a £240m deal with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), alongside a £15m contract related to Britain’s nuclear deterrent. Despite a lack of transparency around the extent of Palantir’s deals in the UK’s public services, at least 34 contracts have been uncovered within sectors including the police, child social care, refugee schemes and the environment. In January 2024, Palantir announced a partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defence to deploy its technology in support of “war related missions” that use drone-fired missiles to target civilians in Gaza, including journalists and aid workers. In April 2025, Palantir’s chief executive Alex Karp responded to accusations that Palantir technology had enabled the killing of Palestinians in Gaza by saying “mostly terrorists, that’s true”. A report by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese suggested this indicates the firm had “executive-level knowledge and purpose vis-a-vis the unlawful use of force by Israel” in Palestine. The Pentagon is reportedly investigating if Maven, the AI system run by Palantir to identify and target military victims, played a role in the US “double-tap” missile strike on an Iranian girls’ school in February which killed over 170 people, mainly children. Kristyan Benedict, Amnesty International UK’s crisis response manager, told Middle East Eye that “Palantir’s software has been used to support Israel’s ongoing genocide and apartheid in occupied Gaza… a company profiting from human rights abuses should have no place in British public services, including in our NHS. “The contracts should be terminated and replaced with providers that are not contributing to genocide, apartheid and other international crimes.” Palantir is also controversial for its reactionary rhetoric. In a 22-point manifesto published on social media detailing the company’s goals, Palantir drew criticism for broadcasting ethnic supremacy in writing “Some cultures have produced vital advances; others remain dysfunctional and regressive” and “No other country in the history of the world has advanced progressive values more than [the US]”. Another point read: “The question is not whether AI weapons will be built; it is who will build them and for what purpose.” Partially funded by the CIA at its inception, Palantir was founded by right-wing tech billionaire Peter Thiel, who famously stated “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible” and is known for his obsessive quest for the Antichrist who will usher in the end of the world. Thiel is a major US Republican donor with a close relationship with Donald Trump, having thrown a celebration party for the president’s 2024 inauguration at his DC home, attended by US Vice President JD Vance as well as Silicon Valley CEOs like Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and OpenAI’s Sam Altman. A recent website leak exposed the invitation list to Thiel’s secret “Dialog” society retreats, including 200 of the world’s rich and powerful, which featured panels on cult-building, sex and prepping for World War III. Mandelson and the MoD contract An audio recording released as part of the Jeffrey Epstein files revealed that it was the late financier and convicted sex offender who first introduced former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to Thiel, advising Barak to “look at” Palantir in 2013. The files also documented the close relationship between Epstein and the disgraced former British ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, whose lobbying company, Global Counsel, counted Palantir among its clients. Mandelson accompanied Starmer on a visit to Palantir’s Washington headquarters in February 2025.

Dan Ackroyd, FOI pursuer, at BCC Audit Committee, [VIDEO] accusing Council of lying. Bristol City Council Audit Committee – “Clutching at straws” and “FOI Avoidance” The Audit Committee meeting held on 28th July raised concerns about the Housing System Data Migration, the Stepping Up Investigation Report, and the Public Forum consisted of a devastating dissection of the failures related to Freedom of Information Requests eloquently and passionately delivered by Dan Ackroyd . NEC Duplicates Project – deployment update Reputational risks: Are there any reputational implications either positive or negative? Yes Whilst there is a reputational risk linked to the fact that duplicate residents have yet to act to fully resolve the issue (which we’ll manage through targeted communications and frontline staff readiness), there is a reputational benefit. Project demonstrates proactive data management and improvement of core systems, strengthening trust with residents and stakeholders. Cllr Ed Fraser “it appears to be clutching at straws” FOI Request – Stepping Up Investigation Report BWC has provided free support to the Stepping Up programme. The review has not identified any instances of similar support being provided to any other companies. This is contrary to guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) that advises that the activities of local authority owned arms-length trading companies should not harm competition. The lack of formalised arrangements creates a lack of clarity of the relationship between BCC, BWC and Stepping Up. Stepping Up are not treated in the same manner as other suppliers and there is therefore no clear accountability and responsibility. It is unclear exactly what BCC has spent on the Stepping Up Programme and there has been an absence of competition in the procurement process. No conclusion can therefore be offered as to whether the Stepping Up Programme has represented good value for money for BCC. Councillors on this committee were not allowed to see this report, but the ICO ruled that this report should be released to the public. Watch Chair Comments “I’m grateful for the ICO for making this decision. I was hoping this wouldn’t be a subject of debate.” Cllr Tom Blenkinsop : “The ICO to be blunt have told off the Council… my concern is the ones (FOI Requests) that are left behind because they touch on areas that this Council does not want to touch” – View extract Public Forum I cannot give justice to Dan Ackroyd’s contribution by summarising it here, so I urge you to watch Dan’s Public Forum item in full. “this council is absolutely disgusting and this audit committee needs to do something about it” Thank you to the many members of the public who spend considerable time and effort in trying to hold our Council to account. Perhaps they should be officially recognised as the “External Audit Team”.
Mandelson and Palantir. No to Palantir campaign. Link to Matt’s website. Palantir, specialists in harm, not healthcare Palantir is not a health company. It specialises in supporting government agencies to use surveillance and big data technology to identify and target people in conflict zones, at our borders, or for policing. Palantir’s corporate ethos is a strange fit for a universal public health service like our NHS. Palantir is used to working with soldiers, spies and police officers – not doctors, nurses or other health professionals focused on caring for patients. They’ve built their business supporting drone and missile strikes, immigration raids, and arrests – not the delivery of care or medicine. Would you trust this company with your health data? Palantir is not a company that inspires trust. It has a history of treating people as targets or suspects – not as human beings who deserve great healthcare, or whose privacy should be respected. Palantir’s involvement in NHS data projects risks fatally undermining patient participation and confidence. Our medical and health records are extremely private and personal. We have a right to expect that any gathering and processing of such data is done to the highest standards of ethics and privacy. Past NHS data proposals have failed because they didn’t pass this trust test. This is even more so for poor people, migrants, and minoritised groups. In the US, and increasingly in the UK and across the world, Palantir is notorious in these communities, because it delivers systems that target and harm them. A ‘Common Operating System’ for UK government – ‘competition is for losers’ At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Palantir pounced, gaining a contract for a token £1 fee. Since then its role in the NHS has increased even further. It landed successive contracts worth millions of pounds, and finally a seven-year £330m contract for the NHS Federated Data Platform. Palantir makes no secret of its desire to embed itself in the NHS long term. In 2023, the UK Chief Commercial Officer Gareth Rhys Williams warned Palantir about his concerns about the: “practice of offering services to public sector customers for a zero or nominal cost to gain a commercial foothold, contrary to the principles of public procurement which usually require open competition.” In its submission to the UK’s Covid-19 public inquiry, Palantir said the UK Government should invest in a ‘Common Operating System” for all government work. While Palantir did not say it would run this system, it has said openly that it wants to become the “default operating system for data across the US government” – so it would not be surprisingly if it held a similar ambition for the UK. If it achieves this, it could have an effective monopoly over all UK government data. Peter Thiel has spoken against competition and in favour of monopolies, telling the Wall Street Journal in 2014 that: “competition is for losers”. But when one private foreign company gets control over the entire collected data of a country, that becomes an existential threat to its democracy and to the freedom of its citizens. Palantir already has many contracts across the UK government, including with the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice, the Financial Conduct Authority and more than a dozen police forces. There is now a clear and present threat of “vendor lock in” in government services which would make Palantir effectively impossible to remove from UK public services. Martin Wrigley MP told parliament in April 2026 that Palantir’s: “contract delivers no software—not one line—just a subscribed service; a permanent lock-in; a single point of failure.” But there is still time for the UK to change course if we act now, and demand Palantir is cut out of the NHS once and for all.

Iran war ceasefire again. Iran declares RAF base in England a ‘legitimate target’ Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has named RAF Fairford as a legitimate target, after American B-1 bombers flew missions against Iran from the Gloucestershire airfield. The statement, the 46th the IRGC has issued since the conflict resumed, went out on Thursday. It said the US had turned to B-1s flying from Fairford once the missile stocks aboard its ships in the Indian Ocean ran dry. Then came the line that has drawn attention in London. “As Foreign Ministry officials have also clarified, any base used to invade Iranian territory is our legitimate target.”Military aircraft models What was new was the framing, as the statement carried the title “Warning to the British monarchy”, and the language that followed was perhaps more blunt than usual.”We warn the British monarchy, which is the main cause of the misfortunes of the people of our region and has a dark record of dividing Islamic countries, widespread massacres in these countries, imposing authoritarian governments, and worst of all, organising and leading the occupation of Palestine and the creation of the Israeli Nakba, and has participated most in the recent aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, not to burden its case any further.” According to Reuters, Britain responded on Thursday by saying its armed forces were ready to protect the country from any attack…
25,000 Moroccans spontaneously arriving in a North African Spanish enclave. International Criminal Court – Chief Prosecutor sacked on trumped up charges after issuing an arrest warrant for Netanyahu. Is Spain being punished? In the months leading up to the crisis in Ceuta, pro-Israel voices conspicuously raised the issue of the enclave. Earlier this week, at least 57 migrants died while trying to cross the border from Morocco into Ceuta, one of two Spanish enclaves located on the African mainland. In a span of just 24 hours, tens of thousands of people entered Ceuta in what Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez denounced as a “violation of territorial integrity”. Many of the migrants interviewed in news reports claimed they had been encouraged to undertake the journey by social media posts. Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, wasted no time in taking to X to whine that “Spain, which never misses an opportunity to lecture Israel, has declared a state of emergency in Ceuta following the crisis over its immigration policy.” Indeed, the Sanchez government has been increasingly critical of Israel, labelling it a “genocidal state” and cancelling major arms deals accordingly. In 2024, Spain recognised the State of Palestine. Now, in the aftermath of the Ceuta episode, Israel – a country where hypocrisy might as well be declared an official state policy – has jumped at the chance to call the Spaniards out for alleged hypocritical behaviour. In his X post, Danon went on to argue that “maybe before [Spain] continues lecturing us, it’s time it explained to the world why it still maintains colonial enclaves in Africa.” Of course, you can’t get much more hypocritical than complaining about “colonial enclaves” when your own country is perpetrating not only a straight-up genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip but also a brutal colonial occupation that has given way to a de facto annexation of the West Bank. Then again, Israel has never had a very good command of reason and logic, preferring instead to propagate an inverted reality according to which the Palestinians being slaughtered en masse are the terrorists and the people doing the slaughtering are the victims. Along with the enclave of Melilla, Ceuta is claimed by Morocco. And unlike Spain, Morocco is in good relations with Israel. In 2020, the country joined the Abraham Accords, becoming the fourth Arab nation to normalise relations with the Israelis through this agreement. In response to Danon’s tantrum on X, Spanish Transport Minister Oscar Puente wrote: “Well, everything is getting to be pretty clear” – presumably a reference to current speculations that Israel had a hand in the mass influx of migrants into Ceuta as punishment for Spain’s transgressions, which include opposition to genocide.
Max Blumenthal – Netanyahus visit to Trump. Trump in Epstein Files? 1/3 still kept back. The Pentagon’s Strategic Calculus A central argument in Blumenthal’s interview is that the Pentagon is becoming increasingly concerned about the sustainability of current military commitments. He points to comments made by senior defense officials warning that American stockpiles of precision-guided munitions, interceptor missiles, and other advanced weapon systems are under pressure after years of supplying Ukraine while simultaneously supporting Israel. From this perspective, military planners are less concerned with political messaging than with operational readiness. The Pentagon’s questions are fundamentally strategic: Can the United States sustain simultaneous conflicts? Would another war with Iran weaken America’s deterrence in the Indo-Pacific? How quickly can American industry replace expended weapons? What happens if China or another adversary exploits U.S. resource limitations? Blumenthal argues these concerns have created friction between military professionals and political advocates favoring a harder line toward Tehran. The Political Pressure for Escalation While military officials evaluate logistics and readiness, Blumenthal says many influential political commentators continue advocating for stronger military action. He references conservative commentators, think tanks, and foreign policy organizations that argue Iran represents the principal long-term threat to both Israel and American interests. These voices generally contend that: Iran’s regional influence continues expanding. Nuclear negotiations have failed. Military deterrence requires demonstrating American willingness to use force. Blumenthal argues these positions often minimize the enormous financial and military costs of another regional conflict….
Daniel Siad, model scout linked to Epstein, died last week near Paris, just before trial. Epstein case: French model scout and alleged recruiter found dead Daniel Siad, 69, was found dead in his Paris suburban home. He was under investigation in France over accusations that he had helped sex offender Jeffrey Epstein find women to abuse, as well as rape allegations. A French modeling scout with close ties to deceased US financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead at his home outside Paris, prosecutors said on Wednesday, July 22. Daniel Siad, 69, was under investigation as one of several French men accused of aiding Epstein in trafficking and abusing women. Siad had not yet been questioned by investigators, but he had denied the allegations, saying he wanted to be heard and give his version of events. “An investigation to determine the cause of death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery,” the Nanterre prosecutor’s office said. An autopsy will be carried out as part of the probe. An autopsy will be carried out as part of the probe. French investigators had been investigating Siad – who said he also held Swedish citizenship – over allegations including rape and human trafficking. Siad’s lawyer, Menya Arab-Tigrine, said her client had requested to give his side of the story before he died. “He is dead and he was innocent,” she told Agence France-Presse (AFP). “If he died of a heart attack, the unbearable waiting, the pressure and the anxiety he suffered every day will have had something to do with it,” she said. The Paris prosecutor’s office said it was dropping a probe targeting Siad after his death, but pursuing a wider probe into alleged human trafficking linked to Epstein, who had a flat in the French capital. Siad’s name appeared in more than 1,000 documents released as part of the declassified Epstein files. He likened his efforts to recruit women to fishing. “In this busyness I feel like a fisherman; sometimes I catch quick, sometimes no fish,” Siad wrote to Epstein in 2014. ….In 2020, French authorities arrested modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel after allegations that he had procured women for the US billionaire. Brunel was found dead in prison in 2022. ‘It feels like victims are being denied justice’…
Sophie Bolt, head of CND, on nuclear weapons, the health dangers of living near nuclear, and how it’s not a good solution to climate change – protest outside Fairford 15th August. ‘Stop bombing Iran’ – CND national demonstration at RAF Fairford With the US illegal war on Iran escalating yet again, join CND, Stop the War, and Fairford Action at RAF Fairford, to protest against the bombing of Iran, and calling on new Prime Minister Andy Burham to stop his support for British bases in Trump’s deadly war. RAF Fairford has been used by the US military to launch attacks. The static protest starts at 1pm on Whelford Road (GL7 4EE) – along the perimeter fence of the base, in sight of the US bombers and the huge runway. Transport: London Bristol and Weston Super Mare Please get in touch if you are coordinating transport form your area! No War on Iran CND calls on all to join our campaign to send a strong message to the government that we will not allow it to drag us into a devastating war with Iran. New Prime Minister Andy Burnham has agreed to continue his predecessor’s policy of allowing Trump and the US military to use British bases as part of its war on Iran. Following an attack by a US B-1 bomber stationed at RAF Fairford in July, Iran’s foreign ministry has stated that Britain is an ‘accomplice’ to the US’s illegal war and now views British bases as legitimate targets. The British government needs to use its diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation. Central to this is withdrawing the use of British bases. The overwhelming majority of the British population oppose this deadly war and oppose Trump’s use of British bases. The war has created a humanitarian disaster and caused the destruction of infrastructure, environmental damage, and economic crisis. The western sanctions on Iran must be lifted, and reparations paid for the terrible damage done to Iran. Trump’s threat earlier in the year to destroy a civilisation, with its implied threat of nuclear war, sent a chill around the world. We need to expose the nuclear hypocrisy. Whilst Iran negotiated in good faith over its nuclear programme, the nuclear armed states of Israel and the US sabotaged these diplomatic efforts. It is US and Israel that are the nuclear threats. Britain, as a primary sponsor of the relevant UN resolution, should be promoting the establishment of a Nuclear Weapons-Free Middle East Treaty. We have already marched and protested in our thousands, now help us keep up the pressure on this new government to end British complicity in the war on Iran.
BBC – General Richard Barrons from Chatham House and Co-author of UK Strategic Defence Review (SDR) is grilled by the BBC – on UK weapons procurement and on vested interests in weapons manufacture. Richard Barrons part of Defence and Resilience Group – joins with The City UK for big bank funding. TheCityUK launches Defence & Resilience Group to unlock investment and strengthen UK preparedness TheCityUK has launched a new Defence & Resilience Group (DRG) to help address long-standing policy challenges affecting the funding and expansion of UK defence and national resilience capability. The initiative reflects the UK’s recent Strategic Defence Review, which highlighted the need for increased commercial investment into defence and a “whole of society” approach to resilience. The DRG will be co-chaired by Joe Cassidy, Head of Technology, Media & Telecoms at KPMG UK, and General Sir Richard Barrons KCB CBE, Co-Chair at Universal Defence and Security Solutions (UDSS) and co-lead on the Strategic Defence Review 2025. The Group is being established against a backdrop of increased geopolitical volatility, and will draw on the UK’s position as a leading international financial centre. What the DRG will focus on The DRG’s stated priorities include: Unlocking private-sector investment for defence and dual-use start-ups and scale-ups Supporting investment into defence-related infrastructure Mobilising industry expertise — including cyber security and risk management — to help bolster public sector skills The Group will also work closely with government, regulators, policymakers and industry partners to ensure financial and professional services are positioned to support defence capability and resilience outcomes. The DRG’s first meeting took place in December 2025 and welcomed Nikhil Rathi, Chief Executive of the Financial Conduct Authority, to initiate a conversation building on themes from his October Mansion House speech, including the importance of closer connection between finance, defence and security. Building resilience and credible deterrence requires more than intent — it requires: the right investment conditions for defence and dual-use innovation effective approaches to de-risking investment addressing procurement barriers that can deter capital and slow scaling
Oil majors work first for Western banks, second for shareholders and not for the rest of society at all – Alex Krainer, on how policies of banks are driving the energy war. Who banks choose to fund changes our society. AI bubble. Alex Krainer: Energy Wars, Dollar Endgame & Banking Crisis Glenn Diesen Alex Krainer is a market analyst, author & former hedge fund manager. Krainer discusses the West’s energy wars, the destruction of the U.S. dollar, and the collapse of the banking system. The whole economic equation doesn’t gain anything if they simply trade oil because for them the grand prize is uh keeping a uh keeping control over oil resource rich regions because then they uh um they can use that uh resource wealth as their own collateral, meaning they can issue uh loans to their clients, companies like BP, Chevron, um uh UNOCAL all these oil companies, all these oil majors uh to go and develop that uh those oil oil resources around the world uh and trade those oils, sell them for US dollars. Uh why is that important? because uh the minute let’s let’s call it a JP Morgan bank issues a loan to Chevron, let’s call it a billion dollar loan. The minute they issue that loan to Chevron, um the that billion dollar loan becomes an asset on uh JP Morgan’s balance sheet and Chevron needs to begin servicing that loan in US dollars by selling that oil in US dollars. And that way the let’s say if the if the oil development is in Nigeria or in Iran or in Russia or wherever Kazakhstan wherever regardless of where in the world that development is the it’s going to spawn uh cash flows in US dollars meaning that the wealth of Iran, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Mexico wherever ever is going to flow towards western money center banks which are usually going to be the majors in in on Wall Street and in the city of London and in that way you know that’s the that’s the modern mechanism of colonialism because it always ensures that the wealth of uh colonized regions of the world ultimately flows to western financial centers like London, New York, Paris and so forth. And so in order to be sure that that that happens that you know Iranians don’t by mistake uh fund their own development in their own currency and that they uh give those contracts to Iranian uh domestic companies. In order to do that you need to gain political control of the country. Meaning, you know, if you have these uh apidi uh mullas in Thran who want to develop their nation independently, uh invest their capital internally, fund their own development, fund their own fund their own um energy resource and energy infrastructure companies and slowly build their society up from the ground and and make it richer and more developed and and uh gain higher prosperity and standards of living. That then pits them immediately into war against Western colonialist powers because they want to be able to extract that uh wealth from Iran.
Fauci – won’t answer questions in court. Anthony Fauci refuses to answer questions during tense US Senate hearing about Covid origins Fauci invokes Fifth Amendment in showdown with Republican lawmakers Former top US health official Anthony Fauci has refused to answer questions at a tense US Senate hearing on Covid-19, saying he feared Republicans would try to use his testimony to prosecute him for perjury. He invoked the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution – which says nobody can be “compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself” – more than 100 times. Contradicting himself under oath could be legally perilous for him. Fauci noted he had testified about Covid and its origin at several congressional hearings. Republicans have long accused Fauci of concealing information about the pandemic from the public and lying about its dangers. He has denied wrongdoing. Fauci has called the allegations against him “simply preposterous” in previous testimony to lawmakers. “Although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch of government… under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the constitution to refrain from answering your questions,” said, Fauci, 85, former leader of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), at Wednesday’s hearing. Taking the Fifth is not an admission of guilt – it is designed to protect individuals against coercion, mistakes, and unfair shifting of the burden to provide proof of wrongdoing. While he was granted a pre-emptive pardon by former President Joe Biden, protecting him from federal prosecution for his actions between 2014-25, Fauci could still face charges for anything after that date, including in his actions towards the Senate committee. He could also face state or local charges. In his statement to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security on Wednesday, Fauci said Republican Senator Rand Paul, who chaired the hearing, had an “obvious obsession” with prosecuting him and that had led Fauci to decline to answer questions. “The only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something – anything – that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up, in his words, ‘behind bars,'” Fauci said.
Marianne Birkby, Radiation Free Lakeland, on Japanese nuclear waste being processed in Cumbria, thought to be good as brings 20 jobs! Radiation Free Lakeland Plan to Bring Failed Japanese Fast Breeder Reactor’s Contaminated Sodium to Workington Marianne Birkby Japan is looking to get shot of nuclear waste from its failed experimental “fast breeder” Monju reactor and Workington’s MP along with Cumberland Council is only too happy to help. “Subject to the necessary planning and regulatory permissions, Cavendish Nuclear, together with its delivery partner Amentum, will be constructing a new facility at the port. This development is part of their wider project to support the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) with decommissioning of the Monju Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (FBR), in Fukui Prefecture, Japan.” Monju Fast Breeder Reactor was a failed £7.2bn experiment in creating a nuclear plant that would burn its own spent fuel (this is what George Monbiot and others have been advocating in their much vaunted nuclear enthusiasm). It was only operational for 250 days before it was decommissioned. Japan has long since pulled the plug on Monju, an experimental fast breeder nuclear reactor that was plagued by accidents, cover-ups and cost overruns. Now our nuclear obsessed Cumberland Council and MP are fizzingly saying that Japan’s failure will be Workington’s gain as they scramble to accept the unacceptable, radioactively contaminated sodium coolant aka nuclear waste from yet another failed nuclear experiment and this time its not even our own. Have they stopped to ask why Japan does not want to have the wonderful opportunity of cleaning up this radioactive mess? It has been sitting around long enough as construction started on Monju in 1986 with the reactor achieving criticality in April 1994. The reactor has been inoperative for most of the time since it was originally built. The main product – an expensive toxic mess. Below is a description of just one of the accidents at Monju in its short operating life On December 8, 1995, a prototype fast breeder reactor, Monju, located in Tsuruga City, 350km west of Tokyo, was operating at 40% power Refer to JNC’s detailed technical explanation in English of Monju and the accident at the Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corp (PNC), a government controlled organization, operated this reactor. At 19:47 high temperature liquid sodium coolant at one of the three secondary heat exchangers started leaking through a broken thermometer sheath (designed by IH Company, OD: 10mm, ID: 4mm, Length: 150mm) on the piping and it ignited on contact with air. As shown in Fig. 1, the primary heat exchangers are designed to take heat out of the core of the reactor to the secondary heat exchangers, which then transfer the heat to steam generators for power. Because of this design, it was a simple fire caused by the leakage of chemically reactive but non-radioactive sodium coolant. But due to the delay in shutting down of the reactor, 640kg of the sodium leaked in 3 hours and caused some unexpected damage by the fire and chemical reactions to the surrounding structure…
Tim Norman’s article in Piers Robinson’s Propaganda in Focus – did UK intelligence stage Salisbury novichok attack. Did UK intelligence stage the Salisbury Novichok attack? The final report delivered to the public inquiry into the death of Dawn Sturgess, a British woman who died four months after the Russian state allegedly attempted to assassinate the former spy Sergei Skripal in 2018, did something unprecedented: it explicitly considered the possibility that UK intelligence had somehow staged the events. After spending some time considering this possibility in his report, the chair of the inquiry, retired Supreme Court judge Lord Anthony Hughes, decided that he was “sure” such staging had not occurred. But how did Hughes arrive at this certainty? In this article we will examine the questions around a potential staging scenario that Hughes addressed, and how he responded to them… Both Sergei and Yulia survived following several weeks in hospital. In fact, although Novichok was said to be incredibly lethal — more deadly even than VX, thought to be most deadly nerve agent in existence — no-one died as a result of Novichok contamination until, almost four months later on 30 June 2018, Dawn Sturgess had a cardiac arrest at a flat in the town of Amesbury, about eight miles from Salisbury. This was linked by UK authorities to the alleged attempt on Skripal’s life through a chain of events that the subsequent inquiry into Dawn’s death attempted to demonstrate. According to the narrative advanced by the UK government, the two Russian secret agents “recklessly discarded” their fake perfume bottle of Novichok in a bin shortly after using it. There it was found by Dawn’s boyfriend Charlie Rowley, an alcoholic heroin addict and convicted criminal who was in the habit of going through bins looking for items to sell. Rowley then apparently gave the bottle to Dawn as a gift, believing the bottle actually contained perfume even though he said the liquid in it “didn’t smell of perfume”. Exactly when and where Rowley found the bottle — and why almost four months elapsed before he gave it to Dawn — is not clear. Rowley was unable to remember these details and the inquiry into Dawn’s death failed to interview Rowley, despite the fact that the bottle he supposedly found and gave to her was apparently what killed her, and the fact that he was the sole witness to her death.
COINTELPRO UK? Aisling O’Loughlin – Why Have Iain Davies and David Hughes Distanced Themselves from Nick Kollerstrom’s Latest Article on the Manchester Arena Bombing. Richard D. Hall nonsense on Manchester bombings. Co-intel Pro chaff in alternative media muddies the water for good journalism. COVID lab leak comes out eventually – viruses don’t exist nonsense co-intel pro. COINTELPRO UK? Why have Iain Davis and David A. Hughes distanced themselves from Nick Kollerstrom’s latest article on the Manchester Arena bombing? Using legal language the pair stated clearly in the comments section that they ‘neither authorised nor encouraged’ the piece. Iain Davis’ book on the event also seems to be out of circulation. Here are the comments that made me question if the families of those killed in the Manchester Arena bombing are bringing legal action against Iain Davis and David A. Hughes for claiming the event was staged. Why else would they use such stiff legal terms in the comments section of an article that supports their stance on the Manchester Arena bombing (or non bombing in their case) ? You’d think they’d be thrilled with yet another expert corroboration of their findings. The article under which these comments appeared is titled: The Maddest court case ever by Nick Kollerstrom, published May 22, 2026. It churns out the usual conspiratainment non-evidence on the bombing, dismissing the victims as crisis actors while priming the way for yet another fundraiser for poor, persecuted Richard D Hall who was only trying to get the troof out with his ‘no bomb, no victims’ conclusion. Kollerstrom repeats the lie that wheelchair bound victim of the blast Martin Hibbert is an actor despite my series of articles and videos exposing the misdirection with the furore that followed including a string of writings attempting to disprove my stance that the victims are genuine. Despite the reams and reams of analysis, nothing could prove they were faking their injuries or that the dead weren’t actually dead or even that they didn’t die in a bomb blast in the Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017. Here’s David A. Hughes flashing devil horns during an interview with Iain Davis and Maryann Gebauer on April 17, 2025. Inverted commas, allegedly. The borefest goes on for more than three hours. Lots of blah, blah, blah but no concrete evidence as per usual. It’s also odd that Iain Davis would choose a blood spattered smiley face as the symbol for his website. Not exactly appropriate in this dark climate of evildoing, is it? Plain weird. It seems to be critically important for the secret societies running the intelligence agencies that conspiracy theorists believe there was no bomb and no victims on the night. It’s already worked exceptionally well as a means to undermine critical thinkers publicly. The only reason Richard D Hall’s court case was widely covered in the mainstream media is because his conclusion is wrong. If he was right, it would have been ignored. The spotlight would have steered clear. All of those who agreed with Richard D Hall’s ‘no bomb, no victims’ stance now look stupid and untrustworthy in front of their peers. They’re also picking on a father in a wheelchair and his daughter who’s also in a wheelchair. Not great. Most feel perfectly entitled to mock Martin Hibbert and his daughter Eve and the other victims of the blast because they’ve been emboldened by this apparent investigative journalism, engineered by an easily identifiable network all backing each other up….

First Tuesday 1980s documentary – 1956 USAF plane crashes in a ball of flames and skids right into a nuclear bomb store at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk – a ‘miracle’ the area ‘was not turned into a radioactive wasteland’. This highly embarrassing nuclear accident is kept secret for over 30 years. Date: Friday 27 July 1956 Time: day Boeing B-47E Stratojet Owner/operator: 307th BWg USAF Registration: 53-4230 MSN: 4501153 Fatalities: 4 / Occupants: 4 Other fatalities: 0 Aircraft damage: Destroyed, Location: RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, England – United Kingdom Phase: Landing Nature: Military Departure airport: RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk Destination airport: RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk Boeing B-47E-130-BW Stratojet 53-4230, 307th Bomb Wing, USAF. (Home base: Lincoln, Nebraska). Written off (destroyed) 28/7/56 when the aircraft, carrying three un-fused nuclear devices, was performing touch-and-goes at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, UK. On the fourth approach the aircraft began to porpoise and the AC (Aircraft Captain) attempted to make a go-around. However, the right wing-tip dropped and dragged and the aircraft crashed being consumed in flames. The crash caused a near radioactive incident when it hit a weapons storage “igloo” containing three MK-6 nuclear weapons. Although the bombs involved lacked their fissile cores installed, each carried about 8,000 pounds of high explosives for their trigger mechanism. The crash and ensuing fire did not ignite the high explosives and no detonation occurred. A nuclear near-accident at Lakenheath occurred on 27 July 1956, when a B-47 bomber belonging to the United States Air Force, while on a routine training mission, crashed into a storage igloo beside the runway containing three Mark-6 nuclear weapons. The igloo was ripped apart and the aircraft exploded, showering the stored bombs with burning aviation fuel. The bombs each had a yield ten times greater than the “Little Boy” atomic bomb dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima during the Second World War. The crash and ensuing fire did not ignite the high explosives and no detonation occurred. However, one official US cable reported that it was a “miracle” that one bomb with “exposed detonators” did not explode, which would have released nuclear material into the environment. Had the conventional explosives in any of the bombs detonated, the resulting explosion would have scattered depleted uranium over a wide area. A senior US official was quoted as saying “it is possible that a part of Eastern England would have become a desert”. Another USAF officer remarked “near disaster was averted by tremendous heroism, good fortune and the will of God”. Reports state that the incident caused mass panic at the base, remarking that there was “not just panic but a stampede out of Lakenheath”. Emergency fire services travelling to the base to assist reportedly encountered “a convoy of American cars full up with American women and children” panicking and trying to get away, and USAF officers instructed taxi drivers to drive them anywhere away from Lakenheath. The igloos at the airfield had been built near the runways to provide rapid availability for use. A different igloo at the airbase stored the nuclear cores of the bombs, and if the B-47 had hit that igloo instead, it could have released a large cloud of plutonium…

NOT The BCfm Politics Show CANCELLED and attempts to intimidate us
July 2024 – Tony, Dave and Martin’s NOT The BCfm Politics show was CANCELLED/EVICTED in a no fault, no notice, no appeal, eviction by The People’s Republic of Stokes Croft (PRSC) arts centre – An email from Chloe Slater and Keith Cowling explained that: ‘Transphobic’ leaflets had been left in the building by a recent guest (who denied it) making Transsexual users of the building feel ‘offended’ and ‘unsafe’. To quote: ‘Please let us know when you or Dave would like to come and retrieve your equipment and drop off your keys. Kind regards’ PRSC Directors (Keith Cowling, chair) PRSC / Stokes Croft China 17-35 Jamaica St Bristol BS2 8JP. Chloe Slater (formerly Jez and self-defined as ‘she’) also made it difficult for us to retrieve the last of our equipment by inferring we couldn’t be trusted, we were made to wait outside their building for over 30 minutes to return their mixing desk in December 2024.
[UPDATE channel restored by YT in July 2025] October 2022 – Tony’s Public Enquiry Channel opened in March 2008, with 13 million views, over 1,600 videos and 26,000 subscribers is removed under false pretences by YouTube – A video Tony recorded in New Zealand ‘Bill Gates, ID2020 & Revelation: Quaker Tony Gosling on Covid 19 & the Bible’ and uploaded on 8th April 2020 got a ‘third strike’ but YouTube’s ‘medical misinformation’ regime was introduced in September 2021 so should not have included as ‘strikes’ videos uploaded before that date. March 2020 – BCfm’s weekly Politics Show presented by Tony Gosling with Irish Republican Labour activist Martin Summers was forced off FM, now online only by station manager Pat Hart. He decided the show should be ‘rested, due to the pandemic’ on 24 March 2020 and then refused to communicate at all when we requested to do the show remotely. Bristol Community FM (BCfm) charity ‘CEO’ Patrick Hart is a long-time personal friend of Bristol’s all-powerful right-wing ‘Labour’ mayor Marvin Rees. Pat Hart also does Public Relations work for property speculators who are taking over community facilities such as Redfield Cinema. Now on Internet only NOT The BCfm Politics Show is available 17:00-c. 20:00 live on Fridays. Pat Hart replaced us with a dumbed-down student show repeating MSM stories called The Bristol Agenda. If you’d like to share your views on his deliberate dumbing-down and pro-Covid jab mismanagement you can contact UK broadcasting regulator Ofcom or BCfm board chair and the ‘Don’ himself, here.
February 2019 – Ofcom complaint result: UKLFI exposed as creation of Israeli foreign ministry – Bristol Post article: BCfm cleared after being reported to Ofcom for anti-semitic conspiracy theories – It could have resulted in BCfm radio station being shut down if the complaint was upheld Tony Gosling reported to Ofcom by UK Lawyers for Israel after being accused of anti-semitism A Bristol radio station, which had one of its programmes reported for anti-semitism and racism has been cleared by Ofcom. The radio regulatory body received a complaint from “UK Lawyers for Israel’ over a show on BCfm radio, hosted by investigative journalist Tony Gosling. The weekly politics show, on the popular community radio station based in Easton, was reported for several allegations on a show which aired on November 23. Tony Gosling, who was a former BBC journalist between 1989 and 1993, has been producing and presenting ‘The Tony Gosling Politics’ show every week on BCFM radio for 11 years. They have released a statement which reads: “Whilst we are supportive of all our volunteer presenters, The Tony Gosling Politics Show only represents approximately ten percent of our political output content wise, and less than two per cent of our entire weekly output.” Mr Gosling’s programme looks at local politics and he interviews a range of councillors and MPs in the city. The show is also perhaps more well known for its alternative look at international politics, and he has a cult following online from across the world. Mr Gosling has made regular appearances on national media including the politics show with Andrew Neil on BBC One, and international channels such as Russia Today, Channel1 Russia, NTV, and recently for both Turkish and Lebanon TV.
November 2012 – Tony gets death threats on the phone from the Jewish Defence League – ‘you’re a dead man walking’ – a man calls him and Tony records the call. Audio of UK Jewish Defence League (JDL) death threat against British journalist Tony Gosling (2012) – Avon and Somerset police Special Branch investigate, trace the caller, and after six months report to Tony that the individual has been served a caution that they will proceed with a prosecution for harassment under the 1861 offences against the person act. Seems pretty clear this death threat was issued alongside the lies, copied below, which were published on their blog by London based UK JDL in November 2012. Firstly Tony Gosling is not a ‘homophobe’. That accusation was first made in an article published by the ‘Harry’s Place’ blog, penned by Zionist David Toube and propelled by him anonymously into Private Eye in 2008. It refers to Gosling’s criticism of senior teachers at Bannerman Road Primary school in Bristol who used homosexual early learning picture books against the express wishes of the parent governors. His criticism was about the deception by teaching staff not because of the homosexual content of the books. Secondly, if you follow the JDL link you’ll find what Tony Gosling actually says about the ‘Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion’ says “…I don’t think there is much doubt that the Protocols are fake…” Thirdly he is not a member of Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign and has never been to any of their meetings.
Autumn 2014 – Tony’s documentary production and distribution business shut down by its bank. Our thriving Co-op business bank account ordered closed for undisclosed reasons. Tony Gosling and Ben Edwards founded i-Contact Video Network to distribute documentaries on VHS video and DVD and to make their own documentaries as well as attend news events and sell video footage to TV news channels. Amongst the films we distributed were Operation Solstice, Coconut Revolution, Mark Purdey and Organophosphates, McLibel, 9/11 In Plane Site, Ludicrous Diversion and The Battle of Trafalgar. These, plus books, and even a board game about drug dealing ‘Dollars and Dibble’, were all available via mail order and we supplied libraries around the world too. The bank had clearly been ordered to investigate us for money laundering, although they never admitted it. All the questions they asked Ben and I were about proving our identity through passports etc.. When we did, yet more letters kept arriving demanding more proofs, birth certificates etc. and eventually when one of us missed supplying the required information, within a week or so of being asked, the account was summarily closed and we got a cheque made out to one of us with the few hundred pounds that was in the business bank account. Since neither of us could get a business bank account up and running for at least a few months and the bank account meant nobody could any longer use the website, we made the reluctant decision to shut it down. Thus was a thriving business killed off by the Co_operative bank. Having said that, co-op were not quite the worst. We did apply to open an account at Bristol’s ‘ethical’ Triodos bank, who proceeded to string us along for several months and then said our business was too risky for them to provide an account!
