Unsolved murder of Croydon investigator means Met Police must now declare Freemasons membership – Metropolitan Police officers are now made to say if they currently or ever have held a Freemasons membership to ‘strengthen the trust among both staff and London’s communities’ – Officers working for the Met Police must now declare to their bosses if they belong to the Freemasons which has been a ‘source of recurring suspicion and mistrust’. The decision stems from recommendations in the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel report – an investigation into the force’s handling of the unsolved 1987 murder of Croydon-based private investigator Daniel Morgan. Mr Morgan was brutally killed in the car park of a Sydenham pub after being struck with an axe to the back of his head. Shortly before his murder in 1987, the dad of two had been enjoying a drink at the Golden Lion with his business partner from Southern Investigations, Jonathan Rees. When the 37-year-old’s body was discovered next to his car, detectives noted that a watch had been stolen, but £1,000 in cash left untouched in his pocket suggested that robbery was not the motive. What were conspicuously missing from his pocket were notes he had been seen writing earlier. It emerged that Daniel had allegedly been investigating corruption within the Met Police and was on the verge of uncovering damning evidence. While a match was reportedly found to some DNA discovered on the victim’s trouser pocket, no further information has been released regarding this piece of evidence. Later in the year, a man named Detective Constable Alan ‘Taffy’ Holmes, who was purportedly working with Daniel to expose police corruption, was found to have committed suicide under unusual circumstances. Multiple investigations into his death spanning decades revealed claims of corruption. The 2021 Daniel Morgan Independent Panel report concluded that police officers’ involvement with the Freemasons had been “a source of recurring suspicion and mistrust in the investigations”. Members of the Freemasons pledge allegiance to the brotherhood’s values and commit to backing fellow members. Officers and personnel working for the Met are now obliged to declare membership “past or present” of any group that is “hierarchical, has confidential membership and requires members to support and protect each other”, the force stated. The Met’s policy change follows a staff survey revealing two thirds of respondents believed membership of such groups impacts perceptions of police neutrality and public confidence, the force announced. Metropolitan Police Federation general secretary Matt Cane has previously argued the measure could breach officers’ human rights and would be “unnecessary and wrong”. Met Commander Simon Messinger stated: “Successive leaders of the Met have considered for many years whether we need to amend our declarable association policy, particularly in relation to Freemasonry. “After such conclusive results from our consultation, we have decided now is the right time to address long-standing concerns and that public and staff confidence must take precedence over the secrecy of any membership organisation. Our decision does not mean any member of staff cannot join the Freemasons or another similar organisation. “But we have acted on feedback that involvement in these types of organisations could call impartiality into question or give rise to conflict of loyalties. Strengthening the trust both our own staff and London’s communities have in the Met is a core part of our New Met for London plan and ambitions.” The decision has been discussed with the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) – the headquarters of Freemasonry in England and Wales, according to the Met. However, UGLE responded to the decision stating there had not been a genuine dialogue. A spokesperson labelled the move as “unlawful, disproportionate, unfair and discriminatory”. Speaking on behalf of UGLE, the Order of Women Freemasons and the Honourable Fraternity of Ancient Freemasons, Adrian Marsh said: “We are disappointed that a decision which potentially affects our members has been taken without open or effective consultation. “Our values of integrity, friendship, respect and service are paramount in Freemasonry and have never been of more importance. We see this action as unwarranted, and we are carefully considering an appropriate response. We will issue a further statement in due course.”
Has the British public been tricked about what the Filton trial videos really show? Starmer desperately needs the trial of six peace activists who targeted Israeli arms firm Elbit to go his way, and bolster his government’s claim that Palestine Action is a terrorist organisation The current trial in London of six peace activists is proving just how determined the British state is to hollow out the public’s civil, political and legal rights to justify its continuing support for Israel’s slaughter of Gaza’s children. US President Donald Trump launched a narrative makeover, with his phoney “ceasefire” and “peace plan”, designed to obscure Israel’s continued genocidal destruction of Gaza. In parallel, Keir Starmer’s government has been working strenuously to impose a narrative in which efforts by Britons to stop that genocide – and to highlight his own government’s complicity in it – are branded “terrorism”. In the summer, the government outlawed Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation – making it the first direct-action group in British history to be proscribed. It was the equivalent of a British government declaring the Suffragettes to be a terrorist organisation a century ago, so that it could avoid giving women the right to vote. Thousands have opposed the proscription of Palestine Action as an assault on the rights to speech, assembly and protest, and have been charged with terrorism offences for holding signs stating: “I oppose genocide. I stand with Palestine Action.” However, problematically for the government, which is bent on riding roughshod over our most foundational rights, the six activists on trial were charged before the group’s proscription. None are charged with terrorism offences. They are accused instead of causing criminal damage – to an Israeli weapons factory in Filton, Bristol, in August last year – as well as aggravated burglary and violent disorder. One faces an additional charge of causing grievous bodily harm. All six deny the charges. But after months of government narrative spin, you would hardly grasp what the trial at Woolwich Crown Court is really about from the misleading media coverage. Narrative battleground The government has been desperately trying to justify proscription by implying, through willing media outlets like the Times, that Palestine Action received funding from Iran. It has only ever implied as much because it has precisely zero evidence to back up such a claim. It is straightforward government disinformation, apparently cooked up by a public relations firm for Elbit. Israel’s biggest arms manufacturer, with an annual turnover of $7 billion last year, is also ranked as the 25th largest weapons firm in the world. Now Starmer’s government is using the trial to bolster the idea that the defendants behaved in ways that prove Palestine Action was not just trying to prevent the Gaza genocide by attacking the property of a major weapons firm, as it claims, but was also directing its violence at individuals, and specifically at officials of the state. This, the government hopes, will convince the public that proscription was warranted – and draw attention away from its own sustained support for Israel’s genocide. The trial – referred to as the “Filton trial”, because of the factory’s location – has therefore turned into a narrative battleground. The key evidence is video footage from cameras inside the factory, and bodycams worn by the defendants, by Elbit’s security guards and by police officers who attended the scene later. There have been tight reporting restrictions on the trial – which has been especially helpful to the government, because it has used the lack of detail to build a misleading narrative that advances its cause.
Peter Oborne new book ‘Complicity’ – we will never be forgiven for our role in Gaza. Is UK government complicit in the destruction of Gaza? That’s the assertion in the new book by journalist and polemicist Peter Oborne, with both Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak under fire for backing what he calls Israel’s “criminal assault” following the Hamas attack of October 7. What’s more, he says, the British media played its part too: colluding with the government as well as misrepresenting or under-reporting those voices opposed.From one of Britain’s most celebrated political journalists, a fearless and forensic indictment of British complicity in the destruction of Gaza. In a gripping narrative informed by original reporting, Peter Oborne tells how Britain’s Conservative and Labour parties converged to back Israel’s criminal assault-in the process occupying disturbing common ground with the far right. Rather than challenge this political cartel, British media colluded in its misrepresentations. The shocking result was that, as British authorities helped Israel set Gaza as well as international law aflame, almost everything the public was told about this momentous conflagration was untrue. When citizens still turned out in their hundreds of thousands to demand a ceasefire, roiling the nation’s politics as they stayed faithful to the ancient British tradition of popular protest in defence of liberty, the political-media machine bared its fangs. The investigative reporting in this book exposes the methods by which peaceful demonstrations were smeared as “hate marches”. Formerly chief political commentator at the Daily Telegraph and Spectator, Oborne knows the British establishment from within. In this book he names names and provides receipts. His demand is accountability-for atrocities, and their accomplices. Why such slavish support for Israel at Westminster? One familiar argument is to claim it’s all the fault of the Jewish lobby. Oborne devotes a chapter to describing the lobby here in Britain, but his conclusion is that they are pushing at an open door because British foreign policy has, since 1956, stuck as close as possible to the foreign policy of the USA. Support for Israel is another way of proving your loyalty to the White House. As Oborne states: ‘As prime minister Starmer displayed an entirely orthodox understanding of Britain’s foreign policy. First and foremost, that meant sticking to the US as closely as possible … rhetorical support for Palestinians’ right to self-determination was expressed without placing any pressure on Israel to realise it. Palestinian resistance of any kind was opposed, and Israel was lavished with diplomatic and practical support’ (p.163). Neither in the UK not the USA, can I see any change in Western support for Israel, despite the sea change in public opinion. But as a new generation of political leaders emerge, there must be some who see the way the wind is blowing and follow it from behind. As the former chief political commentator of the Daily Telegraph and a former journalist on the Evening Standard and Daily Express, it would be hard to write Oborne off as another loony lefty; after all, he proudly positions himself in the now deceased tradition of One Nation Toryism. But that will not stop the attacks from apologists for the state of Israel. That’s why I don’t think the establishment will try to smear him as they did Corbyn and the marches for Palestine; they will try to ignore Complicit and hope the charges against them go away; but they won’t. It’s important you read this book because in page after page, it builds up the case. We need to be able to repeat Oborne’s accusations wherever we work, study or socialise because these swine need to branded for what they are, accomplices of and participants in genocide.

The family of a British aid worker killed by Israel have made a fresh demand for the UK military to release its surveillance footage of Gaza from the day they died. James ‘Jim’ Henderson, a former Royal Marine commando, was killed in a drone strike on a humanitarian aid convoy in April 2024. His father Neil told Declassified he felt “quite angry” that footage from a Royal Air Force plane that loitered over Gaza earlier that day had not been shown to the family. “The reason for not supplying that footage from the Ministry of Defence is a bit of an insult,” he said. “I can’t understand how an RAF plane flying over Gaza on the pretext of looking for hostages, how that footage can affect British security.” Neil Henderson’s comments are contained in a new documentary by Declassified released on Thursday titled Britain’s Gaza spy flight scandal. The documentary features the first footage of an outsourced spy plane taking off from an RAF base on Cyprus bound for Gaza this September, after a UN commission had declared there was a genocide taking place. Labour and Conservative governments sent hundreds of flights over the besieged coastal strip between December 2023 and October 2025 officially looking for hostages held by Hamas. The RAF has not confirmed if it found any hostages, and instead its trove of footage could have captured evidence of war crimes or even been used by Israel to facilitate them.
Amos Goldberg, Israeli academic, holocaust genocide in Gaza. ‘Yes, it is genocide’ in Gaza says Israeli professor of Holocaust studies In a blistering essay on the mass killing and devastation in Gaza, Amos Goldberg, professor of Holocaust History at the department of Jewish history and contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has argued that Israel is committing the crime of genocide. “Yes, it is genocide” wrote Goldberg in an important intervention dismissing many of the flawed arguments cited by Israeli advocates to deny the horrors being inflicted on Gaza. “It is so difficult and painful to admit it, but despite all that, and despite all our efforts to think otherwise, after six months of brutal war we can no longer avoid this conclusion.” Goldberg’s essay is the latest from a leading expert on the subject to reach such a devastating conclusion. After stating that Israelis are mistaken in their view that a genocide needs to look like the Holocaust before it can be classified as such, he explains why he believes Israel’s actions qualify as a genocide. Goldberg acknowledges that it will be several years before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) makes its final determination about the genocide case brought forward by South Africa. However, in the view of the Israeli professor there is sufficient evidence to conclude that Israel is carrying out genocide in Gaza before the ICJ issues its judgement. “It will be several years before the court in The Hague will hand down its verdict, but we must not look at the catastrophic situation purely through legal lenses,” said Goldberg. “What is happening in Gaza is genocide because the level and pace of indiscriminate killing, destruction, mass expulsions, displacement, famine, executions, the wiping out of cultural and religious institutions, the crushing of elites (including the killing of journalists), and the sweeping dehumanization of the Palestinians — create an overall picture of genocide, of a deliberate conscious crushing of Palestinian existence in Gaza.” In one the more compelling arguments made by Goldberg, the Israeli professor states that “the common denominator” in most genocides is the perpetrators claim that the genocidal acts are motivated by self-defence. “Historically, self-defence is not incompatible with genocide, but is usually one of its main causes, if not the main one,” said Goldberg…

So the question you have to ask yourselves, who were the donors that imposed on President Trump this man Rubio and his contingent, Mrs. Adlesen, Dr. Aden, I believe she’s an MD. Sheldon Adlesen’s surviving wife, who according to Scott Ritter and others on this show, said to Donald Trump, “$und00 million legally into a political action committee for you. Make Margaret Rubio, Marco Rubio, your vice president.” Trump said, “I can’t stand the man. No way would he be my vice president.” Then she said, “Give him the next best. Make him secretary of state. US intelligence helps Ukraine target Russian energy infrastructure, FT reports Oct 12 (Reuters) – The U.S. has been helping Ukraine mount long-range strikes on Russian energy facilities for months in a joint effort to weaken the economy and force President Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table, the Financial Times reported on Sunday. U.S. intelligence has helped Kyiv strike important Russian energy assets, including oil refineries, far beyond the front line, the newspaper said, citing unnamed Ukrainian and U.S. officials familiar with the campaign. The White House, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s office and Ukraine’s foreign ministry did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment. There was no immediate comment from the Russian foreign ministry. Moscow said this month that Washington and its NATO alliance were regularly supplying intelligence to Kyiv in the war Putin launched in February 2022. “The supply and use of the entire infrastructure of NATO and the United States to collect and transfer intelligence to Ukrainians is obvious,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters then. The FT said U.S. intelligence helps Kyiv shape route planning, altitude, timing and mission decisions, enabling Ukraine’s long-range, one-way attack drones to evade Russian air defences. The United States is closely involved in all stages of planning, it said, citing three people familiar with the operation. A U.S. official was quoted as saying Ukraine selected the targets for long-range strikes and Washington then provided intelligence on the sites’ vulnerabilities. Early this month two U.S. officials told Reuters that Washington would provide Ukraine with intelligence on long-range energy infrastructure targets in Russia, as it weighs whether to send Kyiv missiles that could be used in such strikes. The U.S. also asked NATO allies to provide similar support, the U.S. officials said. Zelenskiy said on Saturday he had discussed Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy system in a “positive and productive” call with U.S. President Donald Trump. “We discussed opportunities to bolster our air defense, as well as concrete agreements that we are working on to ensure this. There are good options and solid ideas on how to truly strengthen us,” Zelenskiy posted on X.

Document Number Nine warned of ‘the following false ideological trends, positions and activities’: ‘promoting Western constitutional democracy’; ‘promoting “universal values”’; ‘promoting civil society’; ‘promoting neoliberalism’; ‘promoting the West’s idea of journalism, challenging China’s principle that the media and publishing system should be subject to party discipline’; ‘promoting historical nihilism’ (which means contradicting the party’s view of history); ‘questioning Reform and Opening and the socialist nature of socialism with Chinese characteristics’. The paper, which is cogent and clear, takes direct aim at the core values of Western democracy, and explicitly identifies them as the enemies of the party.1 It sees the internet as a crucial forum for defeating these enemies. The conclusion speaks of the need to ‘conscientiously strengthen management of the ideological battlefield’, and especially to ‘strengthen guidance of public opinion on the internet’ and ‘purify the environment of public opinion on the internet’. Document Number Nine is thought to have been either directly written by, or under the auspices of, President Xi Jinping. It marked a new turn in the history of China, and quite possibly the history of the world: the moment at which a powerful nation-state looked at the entire internet’s direction of travel – towards openness, interconnection, globalisation, the free flow of information – and decided to reverse it. In effect, it was a decision to prove the Western boosters of the internet – holders of Friedman’s nutcracker view – wrong. The biggest internet companies in China can be seen as knock-offs of American originals, though because China is so big, the Chinese versions are now in many cases larger than their US templates, and as they have grown they have added many distinctive features of their own. Baidu is Google, Alibaba is Amazon (they’re the ones behind ‘Singles’ Day’), Tencent is sort of Facebook plus Netflix. These three giants together are known as BAT, analogous to Silicon Valley’s FAANG of Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google. Sina Weibo, usually referred to just as Weibo, is Twitter, which has been blocked in China since 2009. The story of the Chinese internet pivots around Weibo, because it was that company that came closest to embodying the opening up of information that internet advocates see as the main transformational point of the technology….
Police ‘can’t decide’ if anti-abortion campaigner should be charged for praying – Charity worker has been waiting 10 months to hear if she will be prosecuted for silent act near clinic – Catholic charity worker says someone’s thoughts ‘cannot possibly be a crime’ and her ‘punishment has clearly been the process’ Police and prosecutors are “frozen with indecision” over whether to charge a woman for silently praying near an abortion clinic, campaigners have claimed. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, a Catholic charity worker, is being investigated by West Midlands Police for allegedly breaching a new buffer-zone law intended to prevent people protesting near abortion centres. The legislation does not stipulate whether silent prayer is outlawed, but an investigation into her actions was launched in January and is being seen as an important test case. In August the matter was passed to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for consideration, but, more than 10 months after the initial investigation was launched, still no decision has been made. Ms Vaughan-Spruce and her supporters have said there is so much confusion around the new law that the authorities have been left “frozen with indecision”. They have argued that silent prayer and freedom of thought cannot possibly be a crime and have urged Stephen Parkinson, the director of public prosecutions, to intervene and end her ordeal. Ms Vaughan-Spruce was first arrested in December 2022 for silently praying inside a “buffer zone” imposed by the local authority around a clinic in Kings Norton, a suburb of Birmingham. In February 2023 she was acquitted of all charges at Birmingham magistrates’ court when the prosecution failed to offer any evidence to support the charge. Weeks later she was arrested for a second time with officers telling her that engaging in silent prayer within the restricted zone was an offence. Following a six-month police investigation the charges were dropped and she subsequently received a £13,000 payout and an apology from West Midlands Police. A national “buffer zones” law was passed in October 2024, prohibiting “influence” within 150 metres of every abortion facility in England and Wales. While the law does not stipulate whether silent prayer should be prohibited, CPS guidance indicates that mere thoughts or presence do not meet the threshold and only “overt” action should be considered criminal. In March, Ms Vaughan-Spruce was informed that she was once again under investigation, but is still waiting to hear if she will be charged. ‘Silent prayer cannot possibly be a crime’ The average wait for a person will be charged in the West Midlands is two days, but it is understood the case – which concerns a relatively minor summary-only offence – is now being considered at the highest level of decision-making in the CPS, involving an executive team led by the DPP. Ms Vaughan-Spruce, who was now lodged a complaint with the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), told The Telegraph: “Despite being fully vindicated multiple times after being wrongfully arrested for my thoughts, it’s unbelievable that I have been repeatedly interrogated and harassed by police for silently praying in that area, and yet again find myself under a lengthy investigation. “Silent prayer cannot possibly be a crime – everyone has the right to freedom of thought. The punishment in my case has clearly been the process. “This all began nearly three years ago, in December 2022, when I was arrested for the first time for my thoughts. The state should never punish citizens for holding Christian beliefs and simply standing peacefully. I hope the director for public prosecutions can put an end to this ordeal once and for all.” Jeremiah Igunnubole, legal counsel for ADF International, a Christian legal advocacy organisation which is supporting her, said: “The authorities are frozen in indecision about whether they’re really expected to prosecute somebody’s silent prayers. “The protracted delays and persistent legal uncertainty surrounding the enforcement of so-called “buffer zones” were entirely foreseeable. “Buffer-zone legislation is so broadly drafted that police officers, prone to ideological pressure, routinely misinterpret the Christian practice of prayer near abortion facilities as inherently criminal in nature. That premise is not supported by evidence and is incompatible with long-established principles of English law. “Isabel’s case exemplifies the serious constitutional difficulties these provisions create. No individual in a free society should face repeated investigation, arrest, prosecution, or the threat of imprisonment solely for the content of their thoughts or being known to hold to traditional Christian beliefs in a public place where they have every right to be.” “I would never criticise what must be for some women a heartbreaking decision, but how is standing in silent prayer harassment? This legislation is another example of this Government saying ‘you have freedom of speech just as long as you think the same way as us’”. “If they can do this for abortion clinics, then they should provide the same protection from protesters outside oil companies, art galleries, synagogues, mosques, Israeli embassies and all businesses that trade with Israel.” “How can you prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that someone is praying silently? And what about the content of the prayer? Is it illegal (say) to pray to win the lottery in an exclusion zone? Or is it only illegal to pray for unborn children?” “Let us call this out for what it is – harassment of females who are acting within the law, by people who do not want them to access a legal and available service. Any female using these services will likely be in distress, and they should be left in peace.” “If prayer worked, it would work whatever the location, so there’s no need for anyone to pray near an abortion clinic. The only purpose is to unsettle women who are going there.” He went on: “It is increasingly clear that measures ostensibly framed as narrow public-order safeguards are being used to suppress legitimate, peaceful expression on the basis of its viewpoint. “Once we permit the state to criminalise thought and prayer today, broader categories of unpopular but lawful speech become vulnerable tomorrow.” Earlier this month, Simon Foster, the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Midlands, wrote to the Chief Constable of West Midlands Police to express concern about the length of time the decision is taking. The Telegraph previously revealed that Donald Trump, the US president, had sent US officials to meet with British pro-life activists, including Ms Vaughan-Spruce, over concerns about the erosion of free speech in the UK. A five-person team from the US state department travelled to London in March and interviewed campaigners to feed back to the White House.

The radio regulatory body received a complaint from “UK Lawyers for Israel’ over a show on BCfm radio, hosted by investigative journalist Tony Gosling. The weekly politics show, on the popular community radio station based in Easton, was reported for several allegations on a show which aired on November 23. Tony Gosling, who was a former BBC journalist between 1989 and 1993, has been producing and presenting ‘The Tony Gosling Politics’ show every week on BCFM radio for 11 years. They have released a statement which reads: “Whilst we are supportive of all our volunteer presenters, The Tony Gosling Politics Show only represents approximately ten percent of our political output content wise, and less than two per cent of our entire weekly output.” Mr Gosling’s programme looks at local politics and he interviews a range of councillors and MPs in the city. The show is also perhaps more well known for its alternative look at international politics, and he has a cult following online from across the world. Mr Gosling has made regular appearances on national media including the politics show with Andrew Neil on BBC One, and international channels such as Russia Today, Channel1 Russia, NTV, and recently for both Turkish and Lebanon TV.
November 2012 – Tony gets death threats on the phone from the Jewish Defence League – ‘you’re a dead man walking’ – a man calls him and Tony records the call. Audio of UK Jewish Defence League (JDL) death threat against British journalist Tony Gosling (2012) – Avon and Somerset police Special Branch investigate, trace the caller, and after six months report to Tony that the individual has been served a caution that they will proceed with a prosecution for harassment under the 1861 offences against the person act. Seems pretty clear this death threat was issued alongside the lies, copied below, which were published on their blog by London based UK JDL in November 2012. Firstly Tony Gosling is not a ‘homophobe’. That accusation was first made in an article published by the ‘Harry’s Place’ blog, penned by Zionist David Toube and propelled by him anonymously into Private Eye in 2008. It refers to Gosling’s criticism of senior teachers at Bannerman Road Primary school in Bristol who used homosexual early learning picture books against the express wishes of the parent governors. His criticism was about the deception by teaching staff not because of the homosexual content of the books. Secondly, if you follow the JDL link you’ll find what Tony Gosling actually says about the ‘Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion’ says “…I don’t think there is much doubt that the Protocols are fake…” Thirdly he is not a member of Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign and has never been to any of their meetings.
Autumn 2014 – Tony’s documentary production and distribution business shut down by its bank. Our thriving Co-op business bank account ordered closed for undisclosed reasons. Tony Gosling and Ben Edwards founded i-Contact Video Network to distribute documentaries on VHS video and DVD and to make their own documentaries as well as attend news events and sell video footage to TV news channels. Amongst the films we distributed were Operation Solstice, Coconut Revolution, Mark Purdey and Organophosphates, McLibel, 9/11 In Plane Site, Ludicrous Diversion and The Battle of Trafalgar. These, plus books, and even a board game about drug dealing ‘Dollars and Dibble’, were all available via mail order and we supplied libraries around the world too. The bank had clearly been ordered to investigate us for money laundering, although they never admitted it. All the questions they asked Ben and I were about proving our identity through passports etc.. When we did, yet more letters kept arriving demanding more proofs, birth certificates etc. and eventually when one of us missed supplying the required information, within a week or so of being asked, the account was summarily closed and we got a cheque made out to one of us with the few hundred pounds that was in the business bank account. Since neither of us could get a business bank account up and running for at least a few months and the bank account meant nobody could any longer use the website, we made the reluctant decision to shut it down. Thus was a thriving business killed off by the Co_operative bank. Having said that, co-op were not quite the worst. We did apply to open an account at Bristol’s ‘ethical’ Triodos bank, who proceeded to string us along for several months and then said our business was too risky for them to provide an account!
