Orange Order march up the Garvaghy Rd stopped by protesters. History of Northern Ireland troubles. [Revealing confrontation between Senior Orangeman and Inferior PSNI Superintendent Green] BBC no marches please. Chief Orange man chatting with Police Superintendent Green – know each other well, with Orange man seemingly giving orders. John Finucane MP – why do people want to go backwards? All the ingredients of a typical Northern Ireland crisis have been in place for the past week except for one – violence. A stand-off – over a proposed Orange Order parade in Portadown, opposed by nationalist residents of the Garvaghy Road – has lasted since Sunday morning. Verbal clashes between politicians, late-night negotiations, appeals for calm and a major security operation have all been in the mix. However, the Drumcree parade dispute in Portadown has not descended into disorder or trouble on the streets. Sometimes in Northern Ireland, the definition of success is “nobody got hurt”. The crisis is not over, and fears of an outbreak of street violence remain, but everything is under control at the moment. The truth is few predicted a relatively peaceful week when the crisis first erupted. It was an extraordinary seven days. Tension started to build after the Parades Commission, which regulates marches, gave the go-ahead for the controversial Orange Order parade in Portadown to pass along the mainly-nationalist Garvaghy Road. That was on a Friday afternoon. Members of the Orange Order march from Drumcree Church. They are wearing Orange sashes, one person in front is holding a Portadown District banner. The church is in the background. The is the corner of a PSNI Land Rover to the bottom left. Within 24 hours the issue was being battled out at the High Court in Belfast during an urgent Saturday hearing which ended up lasting more than 13 hours.. Sitting under the same roof were those involved in the dispute – Portadown Orange Order and the Garvaghy Road Residents’ Coalition – headed by Nigel Dawson and Breandán Mac Cionnaith respectively. They sat within a matter of feet from each other but their positions were worlds apart. Court proceedings ended in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the parade given the go-ahead. All involved then made the 30-mile journey through the night from Belfast to Portadown ahead of the scheduled start to the Orange parade at 08:00 BST. By that stage, their route along the Garvaghy Road had been blocked. Up to 1,000 people were standing in the middle of the road, many of them linking arms. Some of them were prominent members of Sinn Féin, which helped turn the parade controversy into a political crisis at Stormont. A mile away, outside Drumcree Church, the 35 Orangemen who were hoping to march went back inside…
Theobald Wolfe Tone (Irish: Bhulbh Teón; 20 June 1763 – 19 November 1798), posthumously known as Wolfe Tone, was a revolutionary exponent of Irish independence and is an iconic figure for Irish republicanism. Convinced that if his fellow Protestants feared to make common cause with the Catholic majority, the British Crown would continue to govern Ireland in the English interest, he helped form the Society of United Irishmen in 1791. Fuelled by the popular grievances of rents, tithes and taxes, driven by martial-law repression, and despairing of reform, the society developed as an insurrectionary movement. When in the early summer of 1798 it broke into open rebellion, Tone was in exile soliciting assistance from the French Republic. In October 1798, on his second attempt to land in Ireland with French troops and supplies, he was taken prisoner. Sentenced to be hanged, he died from a reportedly self-inflicted wound. Since the mid-19th century, his name has been invoked, and his legacy disputed, by different factions of Irish republicanism. These have held annual, but separate, commemorations at his graveside in Bodenstown, County Kildare. Society of United Irishmen The Society of United Irishmen was a blood-oath-sworn association, or cult, formed in the wake of the French Revolution, to secure representative government in Ireland. Despairing of constitutional reform, and in defiance both of British Crown forces and of Irish sectarian division, in 1798 the United Irishmen instigated a republican rebellion. Their suppression was a prelude to the abolition of the Irish Parliament in Dublin and to Ireland’s incorporation in a United Kingdom with Great Britain. Espousing principles they believed had been vindicated by American independence and by the French Declaration of the Rights of Man, the Presbyterian merchants who formed the first United society in Belfast in 1791 vowed to make common cause with their Catholic-majority fellow countrymen. Their “cordial union” would upend the landed Anglican Ascendancy and hold government accountable to a reformed Parliament. As it radiated out from Belfast and from Dublin, the society drew on the structure and ritual of freemasonry to recruit among tradesmen, artisans and tenant farmers, many of whom had been organised in their own clubs and secret fraternities. Following its proscription in 1794, its goals were restated in uncompromising terms. Catholic emancipation and parliamentary reform became the call for universal manhood suffrage and a republic. Sharing a common democratic programme, and trading on the prospect of French assistance, agents were active in organising “United” societies in Scotland and in England with whom it was hoped action might be co-ordinated. Beginning in May 1798, martial-law seizures and arrests forced the conspiracy in Ireland into the open. The result was a series of local risings suppressed in advance of the landing, in August, of a small French expeditionary force. In the wake of the rebellion, the British government pressed a union with Great Britain upon the Irish Parliament and transferred its unreformed, exclusively Protestant, representation to Westminster. In 1803, a renewed republican conspiracy, organised on strictly military lines, failed to elicit a response in what had been the United heartlands in the north, and misfired with an aborted rising in Dublin. Exiles formed a United Irish society in the United States where, during the Quasi War with France, it attracted the hostile attention of the governing Federalist Party. There were reports of United Irish oath-taking as a prelude to mutinies in the British Navy, and in Newfoundland and New South Wales. Since the rebellion’s centenary in 1898, Ireland’s major political traditions, unionist, nationalist and republican, have claimed and disputed the legacy of the United Irishmen, and of the union they sought to effect between Catholic, Protestant and Dissenter…

The Fairford Fiasco: Official version. BBC – locallers in Whelford on 3 white vans and arrests at RAF Fairford – lockdown prior to this. Iranian terror plot or not? No fly zone for days before they turned up, although Sky News and Police had helicopters. Gloucestershire Police said it had received a call about “three suspicious vehicles” travelling towards RAF Fairford at 00:45 BST on Sunday. Five men were later arrested near Whelford, a small village which lies directly east of the base. A bomb disposal team was deployed to the village to examine a number of vehicles, police said, around which a 400m (1,312ft) cordon was in place. Aerial pictures showed a remote-controlled robot approaching some stationary white vans in a wooded area. Counter Terrorism Policing is leading the investigation, and on Tuesday it confirmed that three vehicles had undergone an “extensive examination” with the support of military and forensic experts. No improvised explosive devices were found in the vans, but a “quantity of petrol” was recovered, Assistant Commissioner Taylor said.

The Fairford Fiasco: Unauthorised version. Rather than abandoning the plainly nuts Fairford narrative, Burnham and his government are doubling down on the claim it is an Iranian terror plot. It remains quite possible the men were indeed fuel thieves, simply stealing fuel from farms. They appear to have been equipped for fuel theft and all they were carrying was petrol. It is worth a footnote that there is a very real history of US military personnel, and indeed British personnel, selling military fuel from bases. Stolen red diesel meant for HMS Bulwark fuelled fairground rides throughout England, which I think is rather lovely. But if the Fairford Five were fuel thieves, farms are more probable as the target. We should pause here to acknowledge that USAF Fairford is falsely designated RAF Fairford, itself a propaganda lie, just like “RAF Lakenheath” or “RAF Mildenhall”. The UK is full of US military bases, on which US law applies. (My birth certificate gives my father’s occupation as “Clerk USAF”. He was employed at Mildenhall at the time). It is a classic example of state propaganda that the petrol discovered in the Fairford vans was described by counter terror police as a potential accelerant for a bomb. Well yes, petrol is that. It has however, rather more obvious uses too. The same technique was used at the height of the War on Terror propaganda in the Great Easter Bomb Plot, that never was. Police rounded up and arrested many young Muslims across the Manchester region, which was front-page news. They were all later released without charge. But at the time of arrest the police announced they had found a potential bomb-making ingredient in a kitchen. Well, they had. It was a bag of sugar. Sugar is indeed a potential bomb-making ingredient. Yet most of us have a bag in the kitchen. At least it did not take the police ten days to find the bag of sugar in the kitchen, unlike when they searched Charlie Rowley’s flat for a vial of novichok, and it took them ten days to “find” a bottle of perfume sitting on the kitchen counter. For Fairford, on balance I think a false flag gone wrong is a little more likely than just fuel thieves. We know the men had no bombs and no guns, which makes the terrorist narrative rather hard for the government to sustain. But if they were patsies set up in a false flag, there would be plenty of things already on the base that go bang which could have been used to create the “terrorist incident” around them. Two key points make me think this was a false flag. Firstly the lady farmer who called 999 was adamant there were more men that the five arrested and bailed. The others would have been the spycops – agents provocateurs – who would have been quietly spirited away from the scene. That also fits with the released information that it was one of the men who phoned in a warning about the “attack”. It looks to me like a false flag spectacular had been planned, with US involvement as claimed by Trump and possibly Israeli knowledge as claimed by Netanyahu. This operation by the security services was viewed as over the pay grade of local police (who might be inconveniently honest) who were not in the picture. It all went horribly wrong for the government when an alert local farmer called the local police, and when a participant also called it in. That could have been one of the recruited “terrorists” who got cold feet, or one of the agents panicked they had lost contact with their line of command.
FlyDubai HACKED? Flight from Dubai to Israel where pilot was attacked – 737 max 8 plane – hacking and software issues – Kevin Barrett article. False flag? Vault 7 – hacking technologies. So They Hacked Another Boeing 737 Max 8, FlyDubai FX1073 to Tel-Aviv, Calling It A Hijack? Boeing 737 MAX & Beyond: The Safety Scandals That Forced Aviation To Change In recent history, one of the largest scandals within the aviation industry was that of the cover-up of the MCAS software by American manufacturer, Boeing, on its 737 MAX aircraft. While it initially went unnoticed, the spotlight quickly shone on the aircraft and its systems after two crashes of a similar nature occurred within a few months. This then led to a worldwide grounding of the aircraft type for nearly two years, during which extensive investigations were conducted. While the aircraft type is now considered safe and has been flying for several years, the above-mentioned accidents and several subsequent incidents, along with investigation findings, served as an eye-opening reminder to manufacturers and aviation regulators worldwide that safety should always be a priority. The 737 MAX entered commercial service in 2017 as the next evolution of the manufacturer’s extremely successful aircraft series. While the MAX family was popular and generated significant orders for its various variants, things took a downturn when the entire MAX family was grounded globally for 20 months following two fatal accidents of a similar naturewithin a span of six months. Lion Air Flight 610 (October 2018) This first accident occurred just 12 minutes after a 737 MAX 8 departed from Jakarta, Indonesia, when the aircraft performed an unprompted nose-dive, from which the crew could not recover aircraft control, leading to the unfortunate death of 189 people onboard the aircraft. Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 (March 2019) This second accident occurred a mere six minutes after departure from Addis Ababa, when the aircraft, also a MAX 8, experienced unstable vertical speed readings, resulting in a similar aircraft reaction to that of the aircraft involved in the Lion Air accident. This led to the unfortunate death of 157 people onboard the aircraft. After the second crash of a similar nature, the industry was quick to react, with regulators worldwide grounding the aircraft type, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issuing an Airworthiness Directive (AD) regarding the aircraft family. MCAS Software And Its Cover-Up The findings from these two crashes indicated that the MCAS system onboard the aircraft did not operate as intended. It is essentially software incorporated into the aircraft to offset the nose-up moment inherent in the aircraft design, due to newer, larger engines being placed farther forwardon the wing, which affects the aircraft’s moments about its center of gravity. The software was designed to initiate a “controlled” pitch-down moment and prevent a stall from a significant pitch-up moment caused by engine thrust. Findings from the investigation revealed that the system acted erroneously, forcing the aircraft to pitch down during its take-off climb in both cases. The key issue, however, was that Boeing had concealed the system’s existence from the FAA and other regulators, as well as airlines. This meant the MCAS was not referenced in any of the aircraft documents or even training manuals, because it was reportedly a concern for Boeing that disclosing a new system could lead to certification delays and might reduce the flight deck commonality of the MAX aircraft compared to previous 737 jets, thus becoming less attractive to airlines due to additional crew-training expenses….
Protest outside BRI against Palantir being used for NHS data – vox pops. Palantir used to target Gazans – evangelical Christian Zionists and tech giants. Dozens of people gather for day of action against Palantir [voxpop and slide show] Dozens of people gathered outside Bristol Royal Infirmary on Thursday evening for a day of action against US-based software company Palantir’s involvement with the NHS. The People vs Palantir demonstration in Bristol was part of a coordinated nationwide campaign to block a possible contract renewal between NHS England and the US firm in 2027. Thousands of people have filed legal objects and expressed concerns over the Palantir-powered software currently being used by the NHS’ Federated Data Platform to store patient data as per a £330m contract in December 2023. Activist Gaie Delap was also at the demonstration against Palantir’s reported ties to the Israeli military Groups like the Bristol Against Palantir, a coalition of healthcare workers and patients, are now asking for people to support the campaign by writing letters or emails to local authorities and MPs on the issue. A leaflet handed to passers by outside the BRI explains that NHS Trusts in Bristol have the freedom to “decline to work” with Palantir’s software if they choose to. Among the groups several demands are a full-decline or roll back of the Bristol-based trusts’ involvement with Palantir, writing to national institutions about the former step and a scrutiny of current contractors to identify potential human rights abuses that need to be reviewed. People are concerned of a Palantir-powered software being used by the NHS to store patient data The leaflet read: “The contract between Palantir and the NHS is due for renewal in February 2027. “At this point the government can choose not to renew the contract. “We are calling on our local politicians to lobby the government not to renew the contract.” Bristol24/7 has contacted the NHS and Palantir for a comment.

Lavrov on his meeting with Germans at UN. Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Germany Johann Wadephul On September 26, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting in New York with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Johann Wadephul at the request of the German side on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. During the meeting the parties discussed bilateral relations and the situation around Ukraine. Johann Wadephul reaffirmed the position of the German Government, which has been stated publicly many times, on these and other matters. Germany’s Wadephul meets Russia’s Lavrov amid tensions over ‘escalation’ The German foreign minister blames Moscow for the Leipzig drone attack but welcomes the G20 invite to Vladimir Putin NEW YORK — German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul held a surprise meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov at the U.N. on Saturday, just one day after he welcomed the U.S. invite for Russian President Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit. “It was an intense conversation”, Wadephul told German public television ZDF after the meeting, which lasted about 30 minutes. “Of course, we did not reach agreement on key points. It was important to me to make it clear that Germany does not accept incidents such as the drone attack in Leipzig, and that this is an escalation that is unacceptable. And I clearly warned Russia not to continue down this path. We can defend ourselves, we can fight back. And that’s exactly what we’ll do.” “Wadephul called on the Russian Federation to abandon its dangerous path of escalation toward Germany, Europe, and NATO,” a German official said after the meeting. The official was granted anonymity to discuss the meeting. The Russian side did not immediately provide a detailed readout of Saturday’s meeting. Moscow’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, instead referred to a polemic Russian report that calls into question the authenticity of the Bucha massacre, and that appears to have been put on the table during the ministers’ meeting. Zakharova claimed that Wadephul had asked to meet Lavrov. Yet Wadephul told ZDF that he had agreed to meet Lavrov after the Russian foreign minister, through third-party intermediaries, signaled a willingness to engage in talks. The reunion of Wadephul and Lavrov was held against the backdrop of renewed efforts by the U.S. and its Western allies to jumpstart peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. Earlier this week, the U.S. government issued an invitation to Putin for the G20 summit in Miami in December, raising the possibility of potential negotiations between the Russian president and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Florida…

France – protests over education. Andy Burnham’s conference speech – PR, gap where he’s upset about Dad. France school protests escalate into ‘urban violence’ as PM calls crisis cabinet meeting About 900 demonstrations, blockades and related incidents under way outside high schools around the country A fast-growing protest by high-school students over long hours, teacher shortages and decaying facilities has escalated into “urban violence”, the French government has warned, as it said many schools would switch to online classes to protect teachers and pupils. The prime minister, Sébastien Lecornu, called a crisis cabinet meeting on Thursday and told ministers to cancel travel plans to deal with the demonstrations, which erupted in the Paris region last week but have snowballed across the country. Lecornu’s office said: “This upsurge in violence makes it virtually impossible to maintain the continuity of public education and is exposing staff and students to danger.” The education minister, Édouard Geffray, is to meet pupil representatives on Friday. About 900 demonstrations, blockades and related incidents were under way outside high schools around the country, police said, with more than 160 shut down as a result. Access was also blocked to about 30 university campuses on Thursday, including in Paris and Marseille. Nearly 3,000 lycée students – aged between 15 and 18 – have been detained since the start of the protests, including 1,949 on Thursday alone, the interior ministry said. More than 300 police and dozens of firefighters, teachers and pupils have been injured. The pupils’ grievances range from overloaded timetables and overcrowded classes to insufficient teachers and unbearable temperatures during heatwaves earlier this year. Riot police have been deployed to confront the increasingly violent protests. Injuries have mainly been from hurled objects but also from police-fired riot-control projectiles, with the interior ministry announcing an internal police investigation after accusations of excessive force and brutality by officers against three pupils. Rubbish bins have been set on fire outside many schools and more serious arson attempts have been reported inside some buildings. Fire damage in one school in Nantes in the north-west was so extensive that it will stay closed for a month, authorities said. In the northern city of Caen, 16-year-old Maelle said she wished those setting bins on fire would protest “with words”. Students were protesting “against this government that doesn’t invest in heating, air conditioning, or teachers’ salaries”, she told AFP. In Strasbourg in the north-east, tram services were temporarily suspended to “restrict the movements of rioters and demonstrators”, the regional prefect said, after protesting students obstructed the tracks with crowd control barriers. “There are 35 of us per classroom,” one 17-year-old Strasbourg student said. “There aren’t enough toilets, and there are water leaks in some rooms. The building is falling apart, the cafeteria is too small. There’s zero budget, zero resources.”…

Defence Secretary Wes Streeting and Foreign Secretary Ed Milliband anti-Russian pro-Ukrainian Nazi conference speeches – [full videos] – UK with Ukraine until they win. Streeting draws red line with Labour left over Ukraine and Britain’s defences Wes Streeting has used his Labour conference speech to deliver a forceful defence of Britain’s alliance with the US and call on the party’s left to stand unequivocally with Ukraine, as tensions over defence spending expose divisions within the governing movement. The Defence Secretary was speaking in Liverpool following a suspected terrorist incident near RAF Fairford, where police and security services launched an investigation. Streeting told delegates that the events had underscored the importance of the UK’s relationship with Washington. “Given events, you will understand that,” he said. [news media hysteria that dissolved when the 5 ‘terrorists’ were released at the end o Streeting’s speech] “Before getting into my speech today, I want to say something about yesterday’s events around RAF Fairford. “You’ll understand that there is a live police investigation, and I cannot provide much further detail than that which is reported. “But I do want to say that our friendship with America is the closest alliance of any two nations on Earth, and we will always stand together against those who hate our freedom and those who wish us harm.” Streeting praised the work of the security services, armed forces and police, saying the operation had provided only a glimpse of the work carried out “every day, around the clock and around the world” to protect Britain. “To all of them, from all of us. Thank you,” he said. The speech then turned to Ukraine, where Streeting made an explicit appeal for Labour to identify itself with Kyiv as Russia’s invasion continues. His comments are likely to be read as a rebuke to sections of the Labour left that have criticised Nato’s role in the conflict, as well as to trade union voices questioning the scale of Britain’s defence spending. Daniel Kebede, general secretary of the National Education Union, said earlier that “quite enough” was already being spent on defence. Streeting offered a sharply different message. “I know whose side the labour movement should be on: theirs,” he said, referring to Ukrainians. “When a Ukrainian nurse treats casualties under drone attack, I know whose side we should be on: hers. “When Ukrainian children spend their nights in underground shelters because Russian missiles are overhead. “I know where our solidarity belongs: with them. “So to President Zelensky and our friends in Ukraine yesterday, today, tomorrow. “We are with you for as long as it takes. Slava Ukraini.” Streeting also sought to confront the argument that increased military expenditure necessarily comes at the expense of public services, a debate that has become increasingly prominent as Labour weighs competing demands on the public finances. “Now, I know that more spending on defence comes with choices and trade-offs, but our critics on the right need to understand that you do not make your country stronger by making our people poorer,” he said. “And I also have to say directly to some of our critics on the left, you are not defending our public services by attacking investment in our national defences.” Streeting invoked former Labour chancellor Denis Healey, who argued in 1969 that excessive reductions in defence spending could ultimately threaten the state’s ability to provide public services…
Burnham on Brexit. Brexit polls. BBC – global economic problems – inflation due to energy stoppages. Burnham on pensions. Burnham takes on pensions and Brexit in sweeping change agenda UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham laid out the agenda in a speech to the Labour Party’s annual conference in Liverpool that sought to counter critics who accused him of prioritising style over substance. (Sept 30): Prime Minister Andy Burnham vowed to reopen some of the UK’s most vexing debates, from Brexit to pensions to the electoral system, in a sweeping and at times tearful call for change that resets British politics. Burnham laid out the agenda in a speech to the Labour Party’s annual conference in Liverpool that sought to counter critics who accused him of prioritising style over substance. Instead, he promised a “new economy and a new politics”, pledging to curb the soaring cost of pensions, repeal the Thatcher-era ban on public ownership of water companies and explore options for a closer relationship with the European Union (EU). “I will make a break with the direction of the past 40 years,” he said on stage at the Labour Party’s annual conference at Liverpool, taking aim at a loss of “control” over the UK’s borders and public services, which he blamed on Brexit and privatisation. Burnham made no mention of his chief political rival, Reform UK’s Nigel Farage, in a speech that instead attempted to offer a state-driven antidote to the right-wing populism that’s frayed the UK’s two-party system. The only political opponent he mentioned by name was the separatist Scottish National Party’s First Minister John Swinney, who he recollected threatening recently that Burnham would be the last prime minister of a united kingdom. The prime minister hit back in an emotional retort, in which he invoked his the aspirations of his father, who died two weeks ago. Burnham said he would instead be “the first to rewire it to make it work for all people and places, driving power out of Whitehall and into every postcode of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland”. The gilt market had a limited reaction to Burnham’s address. While yields on longer-term government bonds rose slightly from the day’s lows, the moves were driven more by a rise in US Treasury yields. At 5.38%, benchmark UK 10-year yields were four basis points lower on the day. UK swap spreads, which measure the difference between UK government bond yields and risk-free rates and act as a proxy for sentiment about UK fiscal risk, were little changed. “Gilts should find comfort in Burnham’s Labour conference speech today (Tuesday), but external forces continue to be the bigger force,” said Michiel Tukker, a rates strategist at ING Bank. “Plans to reform the pension triple lock shows a dedication to fiscal credibility and a willingness to review difficult and controversial topics. Meanwhile, no obvious inflationary policies were presented.”…
Dr Stanley Laham, on Researchgate, ivermectin good against viruses and maybe cancer. Low Key – RAF bases actually US bases. Patricia Opulenza poem. Ivermectin, a potential anticancer drug derived from an antiparasitic drug PMCID: PMC7505114 PMID: 32971268 Ivermectin has powerful antitumor effects, including the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity, in a variety of cancer cells. This may be related to the regulation of multiple signaling pathways by ivermectin through PAK1 kinase. On the other hand, ivermectin promotes programmed cancer cell death, including apoptosis, autophagy and pyroptosis. Ivermectin induces apoptosis and autophagy is mutually regulated. Interestingly, ivermectin can also inhibit tumor stem cells and reverse multidrug resistance and exerts the optimal effect when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs. Ivermectin is a macrolide antiparasitic drug with a 16-membered ring that is widely used for the treatment of many parasitic diseases such as river blindness, elephantiasis and scabies. Satoshi omura and William C. Campbell won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of the excellent efficacy of ivermectin against parasitic diseases. Recently, ivermectin has been reported to inhibit the proliferation of several tumor cells by regulating multiple signaling pathways. This suggests that ivermectin may be an anticancer drug with great potential. Here, we reviewed the related mechanisms by which ivermectin inhibited the development of different cancers and promoted programmed cell death and discussed the prospects for the clinical application of ivermectin as an anticancer drug for neoplasm therapy. 1. Introduction: Ivermectin (IVM) is a macrolide antiparasitic drug with a 16-membered ring derived from avermectin that is composed of 80% 22,23-dihydroavermectin-B1a and 20% 22,23-dihydroavermectin-B1b. In addition to IVM, the current avermectin family members include selamectin, doramectin and moxidectin (Fig. 1 ). IVM is currently the most successful avermectin family drug and was approved by the FDA for use in humans in 1978. It has a good effect on the treatment of parasitic diseases such as river blindness, elephantiasis, and scabies. The discoverers of IVM, Japanese scientist Satoshi omura and Irish scientist William C. Campbell, won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015. IVM activates glutamate-gated chloride channels in the parasite, causing a large amount of chloride ion influx and neuronal hyperpolarization, thereby leading to the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) to destroy nerves, and the nerve transmission of muscle cells induces the paralysis of somatic muscles to kill parasites. IVM has also shown beneficial effects against other parasitic diseases, such as malaria, trypanosomiasis, schistosomiasis, trichinosis and leishmaniasis….
Sergei Lavrov UN speech – Ukraine going against UN charter and EU values. Putin speech in Duma – restoring Donbass. Malaysia at UN. Lavrov issues call for new Eurasian ‘security architecture’ Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov speaks at a podium with the United Nations emblem during an official address. Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, accused Western countries of destabilising the world through “force and double standards” in his address to the UN General Assembly on Saturday, vowing that Moscow’s “special military operation” in Ukraine would be “carried through to the end.” Quoting President Vladimir Putin, Mr. Lavrov said “the dictatorship of a single hegemon has run amok and is simply dangerous for everyone around it,” arguing that a fairer, multipolar order was emerging as countries of the Global South and East asserted themselves as “sovereign centres of development.” Mr. Lavrov condemned the United States’ seizure of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife earlier this year, and their “extrajudicial detention” in the US, calling for their immediate release. He also denounced the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with members of his family and military and political leadership, as “another unacceptable manifestation of coercive diktat.” He said the wider US-Israeli campaign had also struck Iranian nuclear facilities under the IAEA safeguards, causing “irreparable damage” to the non-proliferation system overseen by the UN-backed nuclear energy watchdog. Middle East On Gaza, Mr. Lavrov said the Security Council-endorsed 20-point US peace plan had not delivered peace, with older people, women and children still being killed while the humanitarian situation remains “critical.” Turning to the occupied West Bank and Israel’s expansion of settlements, he warned that “If this continues, it will become impossible to establish a Palestinian State. There will simply be no land left for it.” He called for urgent and “unconventional” international action on Palestine as well as Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and South Sudan – and repeated Russia’s call to lift the tightened US blockade of Cuba. Ukraine and the West Mr. Lavrov accused European governments of arming Ukraine and helping it strike civilians, saying they were working to obstruct peace talks that “many are interested” in, including the Trump administration in Washington. Marking 80 years since the Nuremberg trials concluded following the defeat of Nazi Germany, he said the lessons had not been learned by all, accusing European Union governments of tolerating what he called “Ukrainian Nazism” while restricting the Russian language. “Our struggle for truth and justice will be carried through to the end,” he said. “The objectives of the special military operation will be achieved, threats to Russia’s security will be eliminated, and peaceful life will be restored.” Security Council and AI Mr. Lavrov said reform of the Security Council should not create new seats for Germany or Japan, which he said had “embarked on a path of militarisation and revanchism,” backing permanent seats instead for Brazil and India alongside greater African representation…
Autonomous Warfare Command. Pentagon Announces Plan To Launch ‘Autonomous Warfare Command’ To Leverage ‘Super Intelligence’ In Warfare The command would oversee the military’s expanding use of drones, robotics and AI US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Wednesday announced plans to create a new four-star combatant command to leverage AI in warfare. During a “State of the Force” address at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Hegseth said the Autonomous Warfare Command (AUTOWARCOM) would be tasked with scaling “autonomous and robotic capabilities across the Joint Force in the fastest peacetime shift in modern military history.” The Pentagon intends to launch AUTOWARCOM by October 2027, but it will need to secure Congressional approval to do so. If approved, AUTOWARCOM will become the military’s 12th combatant command. The last new command was US Space Command, launched in 2019 under the first Trump Administration. AUTOWARCOM will coordinate drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous weapons platforms across the military. It will work to expedite acquisition and deployment of new technologies and seek to make autonomous warfare a central military doctrine. Hegseth said the necessity of the new command was made clear by the Russia–Ukraine war and its proliferation of low-cost drones in combat. “Today, with…Autowarcom …we institutionalize — and we supercharge — the era of [super intelligence], robotics and autonomous systems, all in order to win,” Hegseth said. Pentagon critics have taken the War Department to task for continuing to field extremely expensive platforms, such as aircraft carriers, that are increasingly useless in a modern battle. Hegseth’s speech implied that the Pentagon would continue to field such platforms but also explore modern systems. According to the War Department, Hegseth “announced that he has directed the direct reporting portfolio manager for unmanned systems to lead ‘Project Agincourt,’ an organization that will establish the pathway for [AUTOWARCOM], as well as to execute the existing unmanned systems mission while prototyping a new acquisition model.” He also promised that through Project Meridian, “the Pentagon’s chief technology officer would partner with members of the private sector to study the future of warfare.”
Iranian foreign minister saying Burnham barking up the wrong tree on Iran involvement in RAF Fairford event. Iran claims Andy Burnham ‘barking up wrong tree’ in RAF Fairford ‘terror plot’ The Iran foreign minister has slammed Burnham for claiming he has “a strong indication that Iran played a part” in the terror plot at RAF Fairford Iran’s foreign minister has hit back at Andy Burnham claiming he is “barking up the wrong tree” after the Prime Minister suggested “Iran played a part” in the suspected terror plot at RAF Fairford. Abbas Araghchi wrote on X: “I can confirm Iran’s belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all. “You’re barking up the wrong tree.” The post follows the Prime Minister saying there was “a strong indication that Iran played a part” in the terror plot at RAF Fairford on Saturday. Five British men, all in their mid-20s, were arrested on suspicion of explosive offences and terrorism near the military base before being bailed under investigation on Monday. Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT Burnham was asked about the case on Wednesday and said: “There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford, but it remains an ongoing, complex and serious police investigation.” He told Sky News: “People will know, though it’s consumed quite a considerable amount of my time here in Liverpool this week. I did chair COBRA on Monday. “We have been waiting to confirm what we could say, but we can now confirm our belief that Iran played a part.” Burnham added he would not hesitate to recall Parliament if required. He was also urged to comment on the US President’s disappointment over the release of the suspects and said: “The authorities have this under, as I say, the strongest grip and the closest control, and I can assure you of that.” The site in Gloucestershire has been used by the US after Starmer gave the country permission to use British bases for “defensive” strikes against Tehran during the Middle East war. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday the suspected plot “clearly involves the hand of a foreign actor” but refused to provide further detail. British investigators are understood to be looking into the involvement of Iran in the plot. However, its London embassy has strongly denied any involvement in the events in Gloucestershire. The comments comes after it is understood one of the five men arrested rang 999 on himself in the early hours of Sunday morning. Armed police rushed to the scene and arrested the five suspects on suspicion of explosives and terrorist offences near the base. A local farmer also dialed 999 an hour later, after finding three vans blocking a road near RAF Fairford but the force were already on scene…
Tony’s article on 7/7 in UK Column magazine – changed by editor with some mistakes now unfortunately. Accuracy and UK Column. 7/7 BOMBINGS – UK COLUMN – SEPTEMBER 2026 Kept in the dark: 21 years on, no CCTV exists of the 4 men accused of the 7 July 2005 bombings on the trains, platforms or bus they were supposed to have bombed Tony Gosling on the missing evidence behind the deadliest attack on London since the Second World War The 1967 Six-Day War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War eliminated neighbouring threats and established Israel as a secure regional military power. The time had come to mobilise Western governments to the Zionist cause. Benjamin Netanyahu – the former team leader of Sayeret Matkal, Israel’s equivalent of the SAS – launched a career as the go-to guy to stop the ‘terrorist backlash’ that he and his Anglo-Zionist allies’ aggressive foreign policy had encouraged. To embed this idea in the NATO countries, a decade of conferences, plans, and books de-legitimising armed resistance to the empire ensued. These included the 1979Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism, Oded Yinon’s 1982 plan for a Greater Israel, to ‘deal with’ Syria, Lebanon, and the PLO, and Netanyahu’s own book, Terrorism: How the West Can Win (1986). Where armed groups could not be infiltrated, funded, armed, and persuaded to commit terrorist acts against Western nations, the Five Eyes securocrats would mastermind spectacular attacks using their own agents or expendable patsies. The Anglo-Zionist empire’s securocrats made sure their scripted version of events grabbed the news initiative immediately, and were in place to steer police, press, and anyone who asked difficult questions afterwards. Politicians and journalists given confidential security service ‘briefings’ had become mere dupes, with career suicide, or worse, at any sign of scepticism. When Jane Standley announced on the BBC that Building 7 had ‘collapsed’ while it still stood upright behind her, the establishment looked the other way. The scripted narrative had to be true. Britain’s 9/11: At 8.50am on Thursday 7 July 2005, near-simultaneous explosions tore through three Tube trains at Aldgate, Edgware Road, and Russell Square. At 9.47am, a bomb exploded on the upper deck of a diverted No 30 bus in Tavistock Square. The death tolls were seven, six, 26, and 13 respectively – 52 victims, with more than 700 injured. Adding the four alleged bombers brings the official figure to 56. Just like on 9/11, the authorities seemed to know who had done it and why almost before the dust had settled. I had spent a year as a researcher at BBC Greater London Radio covering the first Gulf War and the IRA bombing campaign, so this was ‘in my old patch’, and I was by then a busy 9/11 research editor. Despite the wall-to-wall London news media telling us what was supposed to have transpired, we were not alone in our scepticism.
IDF saying some journalists terrorists. New IDF Website Frames Slain Gaza Journalists as Terrorists Enormous number of journalists have been killed since 2023 Since October 2023, no nation’s military has killed nearly as many journalists as Israel, a fact that often opens them up to considerable criticism. The IDF, aims to quell those concerns with a new round of official narrative that portrays nearly all the journalists they’ve killed as covert terrorists. The narrative includes a new webpage published by the military, which claims some 170 of the journalists killed were actually not only members of terrorist organizations, but of their militant wings. The webpage claims they came by such information through found documents and “interrogations.” Internal to Israel, such a reframing is quick and easy, and the Israeli media are all faithfully reporting the “alleged journalists” to be terrorists. In practice, of course, convincing the Israeli media of the efficacy of killing a Palestinian wearing a vest that says “press” on it was never all that hard. The incidents of wholesale targeting of journalists, however, aren’t merely based on wild allegations that were readily dismissed with a quick webpage. Media watchdog groups have been following this problem for years, and groups like the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) have routinely conducted reviews of the evidence, at times removing a handful from their list for being perceived as engaging in combat in the active warzone. The CPJ’s revisions of their list, however, take the number down from 209 to 191 actual journalists killed, for instance. While the IDF’s report eliminated 170 of them outright in one fell swoop and promised to publish the information exonerating them for killing yet more in the future. Even then, the 170 journalists’ denunciations seem, in many cases, dubious at best. The website begins with a mere handful of side-by-side images of journalists, first in apprpropriate outfits, then in clothing that resembles combatant attire. After a few dozen of those, however, the site later shows pictures only of the journalists, with their names, and a link to a page that claims the determination was “based on multiple intelligence sources.”…
New technologies to make babies and change peoples sex. The end of sex? How human reproduction could soon change forever New Nazi technologies could reimagine baby-making as we know it. But will they actually replace tried-and-tested (and enjoyable) methods? Over the past decade, I have made some bold predictions about the fascist future of sex. One that’s been easy is that people will still be having sex for years to come, but for different reasons: they simply won’t do it so much to make babies. That’s not to say that making babies will become obsolete, but, rather, that technology will change the ways we do it. There could be a much safer and easier way to reproduce – and sex as we know it could end. Until about a century ago, humans always created embryos and babies in the same old, largely random way – through sex. Then some started using artificial insemination and, 45 years ago, in vitro fertilisation. Important as these technologies have been, they still involve human eggs and sperm. Thanks to stem cell technologies, though, that will shift. The step change will be in vitro gametogenesis (IVG) – turning skin cells into induced pluripotent stem cells, then turning those into eggs and sperm. IVG is tremendously exciting to millions of couples, but it does raise some tricky questions. For example, if we could make eggs from skin cells, 90-year-olds could become genetic parents. So could nine-year-olds, miscarried foetuses or people who have been dead for years, but whose cells were frozen. Also consider this: what if we could make sperm from women’s skin cells, or eggs from men’s? It could soon be a reality. In 2023, Japanese scientists announced that they had made eggs from a male mouse’s skin cells and, using ‘normal’ mouse sperm, had produced mouse pups. To take this idea further, what if we made both eggs and sperm from the same person and used them to make embryos? Your ‘unibaby’ wouldn’t be a ‘clone’, but closer to you than your siblings. An even more radical idea called ‘multiplex parenting’ could involve making embryos from four people that would then be used to make eggs and sperm. Turn that fertilised egg into a baby and you’ve got a child with roughly equal genetic contributions from four parents – or eight, or sixteen, or more…

The Bristol Politics Show CANCELLED and attempts to intimidate us
July 2024 – Tony, Dave and Martin’s NOT The BCfm Politics show was CANCELLED/EVICTED from their PRSC studio in a no fault, no notice, no appeal, eviction by Chloe Slater of The People’s Republic of Stokes Croft (PRSC) arts centre – An email from Chloe and Keith Cowling explained that: ‘Transphobic’ leaflets, which we were not shown, had been left in the building by a recent guest (who denied it) making Transsexual users of the building feel ‘offended’ and ‘unsafe’. To quote: ‘Please let us know when you or Dave would like to come and retrieve your equipment and drop off your keys. Kind regards’ PRSC Directors (Keith Cowling, chair) PRSC / Stokes Croft China 17-35 Jamaica St Bristol BS2 8JP. Chloe Slater (formerly young man Jez and now self-defined as ‘she’) also made it difficult for us to retrieve the last of our equipment by inferring we couldn’t be trusted, we were made to wait in the cold outside their building for over 30 minutes to return their mixing desk and retrieve our remaining kit in December 2024.

March 2020 – BCfm’s weekly Politics Show presented by Tony Gosling with Irish Republican Labour activist Martin Summers was forced off FM, now online only by station manager Pat Hart. He decided the show should be ‘rested, due to the pandemic’ on 24 March 2020 and then refused to communicate at all when we requested to do the show remotely. Bristol Community FM (BCfm) charity ‘CEO’ Patrick Hart is a long-time personal friend of Bristol’s all-powerful right-wing ‘Labour’ mayor Marvin Rees. Pat Hart has a private property portfolio on the continent and also does Public Relations work for property speculators who are taking over community facilities such as Redfield Cinema. Now on Internet only NOT The BCfm Politics Show is available 17:00-c. 20:00 live on Fridays. Pat Hart replaced us with a dumbed-down student show repeating MSM stories called The Bristol Agenda. If you’d like to share your views on his deliberate dumbing-down and pro-Covid jab mismanagement you can contact UK broadcasting regulator Ofcom or BCfm board chair and the ‘Don’ himself, here.
February 2019 – Ofcom complaint result: UKLFI exposed as creation of Israeli foreign ministry – Bristol Post article: BCfm cleared after being reported to Ofcom for anti-semitic conspiracy theories – It could have resulted in BCfm radio station being shut down if the complaint was upheld Tony Gosling reported to Ofcom by UK Lawyers for Israel after being accused of anti-semitism A Bristol radio station, which had one of its programmes reported for anti-semitism and racism has been cleared by Ofcom. The radio regulatory body received a complaint from “UK Lawyers for Israel’ over a show on BCfm radio, hosted by investigative journalist Tony Gosling. The weekly politics show, on the popular community radio station based in Easton, was reported for several allegations on a show which aired on November 23. Tony Gosling, who was a former BBC journalist between 1989 and 1993, has been producing and presenting ‘The Tony Gosling Politics’ show every week on BCFM radio for 11 years. They have released a statement which reads: “Whilst we are supportive of all our volunteer presenters, The Tony Gosling Politics Show only represents approximately ten percent of our political output content wise, and less than two per cent of our entire weekly output.” Mr Gosling’s programme looks at local politics and he interviews a range of councillors and MPs in the city. The show is also perhaps more well known for its alternative look at international politics, and he has a cult following online from across the world. Mr Gosling has made regular appearances on national media including the politics show with Andrew Neil on BBC One, and international channels such as Russia Today, Channel1 Russia, NTV, and recently for both Turkish and Lebanon TV.
November 2012 – Tony gets death threats on the phone from the Jewish Defence League – ‘you’re a dead man walking’ – a man calls him and Tony records the call. Audio of UK Jewish Defence League (JDL) death threat against British journalist Tony Gosling (2012) – Avon and Somerset police Special Branch investigate, trace the caller, and after six months report to Tony that the individual has been served a caution that they will proceed with a prosecution for harassment under the 1861 offences against the person act. Seems pretty clear this death threat was issued alongside the lies, copied below, which were published on their blog by London based UK JDL in November 2012. Firstly Tony Gosling is not a ‘homophobe’. That accusation was first made in an article published by the ‘Harry’s Place’ blog, penned by Zionist David Toube and propelled by him anonymously into Private Eye in 2008. It refers to Gosling’s criticism of senior teachers at Bannerman Road Primary school in Bristol who used homosexual early learning picture books against the express wishes of the parent governors. His criticism was about the deception by teaching staff not because of the homosexual content of the books. Secondly, if you follow the JDL link you’ll find what Tony Gosling actually says about the ‘Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion’ says “…I don’t think there is much doubt that the Protocols are fake…” Thirdly he is not a member of Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign and has never been to any of their meetings.
Autumn 2014 – Tony’s documentary production and distribution business shut down by its bank. Our thriving Co-op business bank account ordered closed for undisclosed reasons. Tony Gosling and Ben Edwards founded i-Contact Video Network to distribute documentaries on VHS video and DVD and to make their own documentaries as well as attend news events and sell video footage to TV news channels. Amongst the films we distributed were Operation Solstice, Coconut Revolution, Mark Purdey and Organophosphates, McLibel, 9/11 In Plane Site, Ludicrous Diversion and The Battle of Trafalgar. These, plus books, and even a board game about drug dealing ‘Dollars and Dibble’, were all available via mail order and we supplied libraries around the world too. The bank had clearly been ordered to investigate us for money laundering, although they never admitted it. All the questions they asked Ben and I were about proving our identity through passports etc.. When we did, yet more letters kept arriving demanding more proofs, birth certificates etc. and eventually when one of us missed supplying the required information, within a week or so of being asked, the account was summarily closed and we got a cheque made out to one of us with the few hundred pounds that was in the business bank account. Since neither of us could get a business bank account up and running for at least a few months and the bank account meant nobody could any longer use the website, we made the reluctant decision to shut it down. Thus was a thriving business killed off by the Co_operative bank. Having said that, co-op were not quite the worst. We did apply to open an account at Bristol’s ‘ethical’ Triodos bank, who proceeded to string us along for several months and then said our business was too risky for them to provide an account!
